Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2026 Ford Bronco and 2021-2024 Ford Edge vehicles. The Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM) may overheat and shutdown, which can prevent the rearview camera image from displaying as intended.
Remedy Status
The APIM software will be updated by a dealer, or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 13, 2026. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2025 Ranger, Lincoln Nautilus, Mustang, Maverick, Explorer, Escape, Lincoln Corsair, Bronco Sport, and Bronco vehicles. The exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve may fail, resulting in an unexpected loss of drive power.
Remedy Status
The remedy is currently under development. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed March 20, 2026. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2025 Bronco and Ranger vehicles. During manufacturing, the windshield may not have been properly bonded to the vehicle, allowing it to detach in a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 212, "Windshield Mounting."
Remedy Status
Dealers will remove and replace the windshield, free charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 20, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Bronco and Ranger vehicles. The front upper control arm ball joint fastener may be missing or tightened improperly, allowing the front upper control arm to detach from the knuckle assembly.
Remedy Status

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2025 Ranger and Bronco vehicles. The bolts that secure the driver's seat frame to the body may be loose or missing. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 207, "Seating Systems."
Remedy Status

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Bronco vehicles. The front lower control arm fasteners may not have been tightened properly, allowing the control arm to detach from the frame.
Remedy Status
Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until they have been repaired. Dealers will inspect and verify that the lower control arm fasteners are tightened properly. If a fastener is loose or missing, the dealer will replace the fastener. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 3, 2025. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2025 Bronco vehicles. The transmission to transfer case joint may be misaligned due to an incorrectly performed previous repair, which could lead to wear of the transmission output shaft splines and transfer case input splines.

Dealers will inspect the transmission to transfer case joint and replace the transmission and transfer case as necessary, free of charge. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2024-2025 F-150, Bronco, 2024 Ranger, 2025 Mustang, Explorer, and Aviator vehicles. The transmission valve body may have been machined incorrectly, which can cause reverse gear failure, or unexpected forward movement in reverse or neutral gear.

The dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer confirmed that parts were not yet available. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact had not experienced a failure.
Description: My 2025 Ford Bronco suffered a catastrophic failure of both rear shock absorver external reservoirs, consistent with Recall 25S01 (NHTSA 25V025). The reservoirs detached intirely while driving out-of-state, forcing an 800-mile transit with 5 passengers on an unstable suspension. Issue: Upon presenting the vehicle to Interstate Ford, the dealer and a Ford Representative issued a formal denial of warranty coverage. They cited Claim Type 14, Condition Code 39 ("Missing Part"). Why it's a Safet Risk: Ford is using the severity of the defect - the fact that the part sepearated - as a reason to deny the repair, even though Recall 25S01 explicitly warns that the defect causes "seperation fo the external reservoir." This is a refusal to remedy a known safety defect that has already caused a hazardous driving condition.
The contact owned a 2025 Ford Bronco. The contact stated while driving 30 MPH, another driver pulled closer to the vehicle and honked to get the contact's attention. The contact stated that upon rolling down the window, the contact noticed flames coming from the front driver's side wheel well. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact was able to pull over to the side and exited the vehicle. The contact stated that the vehicle completely burned from the front end to the front seats. The contact stated that the fire originated from the driver's side of the engine compartment. The front driver's side of the vehicle sustained more fire damage than the passenger's side of the vehicle. The fire was extinguished by the fire department. A fire department report and a police report were filed. There was no reported injury. The vehicle was towed to a tow yard. The vehicle was a total loss. The dealer and the manufacturer were not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 13,500.

This vehicle had an open safety recall at the time the dealership sold it to me. The recall existed before the sale and the dealership knew or should have known about it. The dealer submitted loan paperwork and accepted funding but never delivered the vehicle to me. I was not informed of the open recall before signing. This is a safety and compliance issue involving a dealer selling a vehicle with an unrepaired recall
Crain Ford in Jacksonville Arkansas (72076) sold me this vehicle while it was under a national stop-sale with an active recall and expected me to make payments on the loan while they held the vehicle for several months.
I am sending this to anonymously report a critical compliance issue at Stivers Ford in Birmingham, Alabama. They are actively selling brand-new vehicles with active safety recalls. Dealership employees have openly admitted to taking brand-new, never-titled vehicles and delivering them to end consumers. They are doing this even though recall 26S09 is still active and it has absolutely no remedy available right now. This is a HUGE safety problem. The Proof: • Stock B9380, VIN [XXX] • Stock B9259, VIN [XXX] These two units are just the tip of the iceberg. I am confident that a deeper look will uncover many more cases across all of their dealerships. We need to look into this and make sure they stop delivering unsafe vehicles immediately. I have experienced three total brake failures in my 2025 Ford Bronco. During the most recent incident on 2-18-2026 the brake pedal traveled completely to the floorboard, requiring extreme force and multiple pumps to stop the vehicle. This appears to be the exact failure described in Ford Recall 25S77 (NHTSA Campaign 25V488) regarding the Electronic Brake Booster (EBB) module. The vehicle was presented to Suntrup Ford twice previously for this issue, but the defect was not corrected. I am reporting a life-threatening safety failure. After February 18th 2026 brake failure I had bronco towed to Suntrup Ford in Kirkwood Missouri and that's where it will stay. I am too frightened to drive it again.
Structural crack in molded in color roof compromising the integrity of vehicle roof.
Loss of braking. Note weather was cold in single digits Fahrenheit and midly snowy. I drove my 2025 Ford Bronco that was purchased in Octorber about 20 minutes to drop off my child at daycare. Going into the daycare I turned to Slippery/4A mode. After about 5 minutes inside I pulled out and switched back to Normal/2H mode. Less than half a mile later I got multiple warnings that the brakes, EBB, collision detect, and ABS had faulted, and I should service now. I only had the electronic parking brake available. I was able to use it and engine braking with my manual transmission to get to off the road to a parking lot, although I did also receive a parking brake overheat fault the turn before getting into the parking lot. I shut the vehicle off without the parking brake on. I turned it back on and the dash warning lights all disappeared after a few seconds. Brake function returned and I drove it to a Ford service center about 1 mile away. They were not able to reproduce the problem or find any DTCs. I did get notifications of some of the faults to my Ford app on my phone. I am uploading the redacted RO and screenshots of the Ford notifications. Losing braking obviously put myself and my passenger pregnant wife at risk. Thankfully I was moving at lower speeds on a flat section of road and not taking a highway exit at the time of failure.
on Jan 15, 2025. A cold start for the Bronco, putting in reverse, the vehicle lurched back and to the hard right, uncommanded acceleration at a high rate of speed, steering locked up, brakes locked up, tires spinning, engine revving causing the bronco to smash into the exterior of my home garage area. Then, shifting to drive, the vehicle again lurched, uncommanded acceleration hard to the left now, steering locked up, brakes locked up, tires spinning engine revving traveling 20-30 feet crashing into the electrical box coming to rest on top of it. Numerous faults showing multiple systems malfunctioning causing this incident.
While slowly backing into our home garage, the vehicle accelerated brakes were not working and smashed into the side of the house, put the car in drive to move it. It accelerated forward over correcting and drove into our power box and came to a halt. No brakes were working and the wheels/steering locked up.
While driving, after a missed downshift that causes engine bogging, the vehicle experiences a loss of engine power. The engine remains running but will not produce usable torque and will not rev above approximately 800 RPM, despite clutch disengagement and selecting the correct gear. Holding the clutch fully depressed does not immediately restore power; instead, after approximately 4 seconds, the engine stalls or cycles/resets, after which normal operation resumes. The condition persists until the vehicle nearly stops, the engine stalls, or the ignition is cycled. This has occurred in traffic and adverse weather conditions and is repeatable.”
Description of Incident: > While driving in freezing drizzle/sleet conditions in northern Minnesota, the factory-installed LED headlights on my 2025 Ford Bronco became obscured by ice buildup within 15 minutes of driving. The Safety Issue: > the LED headlights do not produce sufficient heat to melt frozen precipitation. This resulted in a degradation of forward visibility during nighttime driving, creating a safety hazard. I was forced to pull over repeatedly on a high-speed roadway to manually scrape ice from the lenses. Request: > I am reporting this as a design defect for vehicles sold in northern climates. The lack of a heating element or de-icing mechanism in the standard LED equipment makes the vehicle unsafe for nighttime driving during freezing weather with high humidity conditions.
Driving in sub-freezing temperatures with snow/rain falling and slush on the road, the headlights iced over with thick slush and ice and reduced visibility to dangerous levels requiring me to pull off the road and chip off the ice putting myself in a dangerous situation being on the side of the road during a storm.
Accident Statement – Instrument Panel Cluster Failure & Collision While driving my 2025 Ford Outerbanks, the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) screen suddenly went completely black without warning. At the time of the malfunction, I was attempting to merge into traffic on my left with my left turn signal activated. Simultaneously, an 18-wheeler in the lane beside me was merging to his right. The sudden loss of my IPC screen meant I could not see my speedometer, warning indicators, safety messages, or any visibility cues needed to safely judge traffic speed and spacing. This created an immediate hazardous situation and made it extremely difficult to manage both my own speed and the surrounding traffic patterns. As I recognized the danger, I attempted to brake and avoid a collision. During this moment, my steering wheel began to shake slightly—possibly due to the lane-keeping or lane-safety system responding. Despite my efforts to correct and avoid impact, the 18-wheeler collided with my vehicle. At the time of the crash, I had no visibility of any dashboard warnings, alerts, vehicle speed, or safety notifications due to the IPC failure. My insurance representative has inspected my vehicle and deemed it a total loss.
The slave Cylinder failed causing the clutch to not fully disengage burning out the clutch at only 783 miles on the vehicle. Ford headquarters claims driver misuse, dealership disagrees at such low mileage.
On oct. 26, 2025, I was in a bad car accident. I was coming home and came to a stop on Spring Street.In Marion. MA before entering Rte 6 . I looked both ways and the rte was clear. I looked again both ways and still was clear, so I moved my 2025 Bronco Badlands onto the Rte 6 and within seconds I was hit very hard on the front left quarter. My SUV spun around at least 270º and I was immediately taken to the ER nearby (Tobey Hospital) for Brain and neck Studies. No airbags deployed. I have photos of the vehicle showing my damage. The driver of the other car must have been speeding as the hit was huge. I was the sole person in my car. The Marion PD Officer who was in charge of this accident changed the story to say "I looked both ways, saw a car coming and I moved forward" into Rte 6 to get home around the corner. I had injuries all over my body and brain with concussion/mild TBI. There were no witnesses and the building near the scene of the MVA had a professional camera over their front door. They would not let me see the video. They did let the other driver see the video The angle of this cam was changed from straight across the street looking at the scene directly. I had no way of knowing what happened and I have spent about a half a year getting therapy at three different physical therapy sites/hospital. I asked the Police to see if I could ask the State Police if they would do a Collision Analysis and Reconstruction so I could know what happened as I was labeled At Fault which I understood if the other driver was driving normally and safely. I was told that if no one is seriously hurt or dead then they would do it. I lost my memory and am still getting visual changes and severe headaches. The series of Radiologic images show that I had lots of Damage. I am a XXX Physician and I know I was hit by surprise and never saw the other car because of the angles of the road. I told photos and have images of the scene and of my car and the other car
