WIFE AND I WERE ENROUTE HOME FROM VERO BEACH, FL TRAVELING WEST ON FL HIWAY 60 ABOUT 10 MILES EAST OF THE FL TURNPIKE AROUND 8:30 AM. TRAVELED OVER SHORT STRETCH OF REPAVED ROAD. AT THAT TIME HEARD BEEP, NOTICED RED BRAKE LIGHT AND AMBER ABS LIGHT ON. CRUISE CONTROL ON MOVING 60 MPH. TRIED BRAKES, NOTICED EXCESSIVE BRAKE TRAVEL, BUT STILL HAD SOME BRAKES. CONTINUED ON UNTIL TURNPIKE JUNCTION. PULLED OFF ROAD, STOPPED, SHUT OFF IGNITION. UPON RESTARTING (AFTER 5 SECONDS), WARNING LIGHTS STAYED OFF, HAD GOOD BRAKES. PROCEEDED 130 MILES TO HOME W/O INCIDENT. THIS HAS OCCURRED 3 TIMES BEFORE AND HAVE HAD IT TO THE DEALER'S SERVICE DEPT. ON JULY 5TH. I AM DETAILING THIS INCIDENT BECAUSE I HAVE THE MOST INFORMATION ABOUT IT. WHEN IT OCCURRED ALL 4 TIMES, IT WAS EITHER AFTER CROSSING RAILROAD TRACKS, HITTING A POT HOLE OR IN THIS CASE AFTER A CHANGE IN ROAD SURFACE. AND IT DOESN'T HAPPEN ALL THE TIME WHEN CROSSING ROUGH SURFACES. THE DEALER (NICK NICHOLAS FORD IN INVERNESS, FL) CANNOT SEEM TO FIND AND FIX THIS. I HAVE TO GROUND THIS VEHICLE BECAUSE I CANNOT TRUST IT WITH MY WIFE DRIVING BY HERSELF. IT COULD COST UP TO 7K FOR FORD TO SWAP OUT COMPONETS TO TRY TO FIX IT - MY COST. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE! NOT A WEAR AND TEAR ISSUE.
THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR WHEEL WELL HAS RUSTED THROUGH EXPOSING THE SHOCKS AND STRUTS. THE VEHICLE IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE. THE CORROSION OF THE REAR WHEEL WELL IS NOT A WEARABLE PART AND CANNOT BE CONTROLLED OR CAUSED BY THE END USER. THIS IS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT. THE CORROSION OF THE REAR WHEEL WELL CAN CAUSE THE SHOCKS AND STRUTS TO DISMOUNT, WHICH COULD LEAD TO VEHICLE ROLLOVER RESULTING IN INJURY OR DEATH. *JS
PROBLEMS WITH GAS PEDAL STICKING/ LOCKING UP. WHILE DRIVING AND SOMETIMES WHEN IDLE DASH LIGHTS, A/C AND RADIO TURN ON AND OFF, THEN THERE WAS A CLICKING SOUND BEFORE THE ACTUAL ENGINE SHUTS OFF. *TR
THE GAS PEDAL WAS STUCK IN THE UP POSITION AND MY HUSBAND WAS UNABLE TO ACCELERATE. THIS WAS AN 3:45 IN THE MORNING IN ABOUT 60 DEGREE WEATHER. IN DOING SOME ONLINE RESEARCH, I HAVE FOUND THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE BUTTERFLY VALVE IN THE THROTTLE SYSTEM. LUCKILY THERE ARE VERY FEW PEOPLE ON THE ROAD AT THAT TIME OF THE MORNING. IF THIS HAD HAPPENED IN HEAVY TRAFFIC, HE COULD HAVE BEEN HIT FROM BEHIND.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD ESCAPE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH DOWN HILL, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT ACCELERATE. THE CONTACT STATED THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL BECAME STUCK. THE CONTACT PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND CONTINUED TO PUSH ON THE ACCELERATOR TO RELEASE THE PEDAL. THE PEDAL WAS RELEASED BUT THE FAILURE SOON RECURRED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER, WHO STATED THAT THE THROTTLE BODY FAILED AND CAUSED THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL TO STICK. THE DEALER STATED THE THROTTLE BODY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT DID NOT HAVE THE THROTTLE REPLACED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 156,884.
ELECTRIC ASSISTED POWER STEERING NOT FUNCTIONAL. DEALER TROUBLESHOOTING CONSISTED OF READING CODES, THEN INDICATING THAT THE ENTIRE RACK AND PINION ASSEMBLY NEEDED REPLACED ($2200). REPLACED THE ASSEMBLY, STILL DOESN'T WORK. THE ELECTRONIC STEERING CONTROL MODULE WAS REPLACED, STILL DOESN'T WORK. THE REPAIR SHOPS AND THE DEALERS HAVE INADEQUATE INFORMATION AND TRAINING TO REPAIR THESE ELECTRIC STEERING SYSTEMS. THERE SHOULD BE ADEQUATE INFORMATION AND TRAINING TO IDENTIFY THE FAILED COMPONENT, AS OPPOSED TO SWAPPING OUT LARGE ASSEMBLIES, AND STILL NOT FIXING THE PROBLEM. THESE SYSTEMS APPEAR TO HAVE A HIGH FAILURE RATE, AND PRESENT A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE WHEN THEY FAIL WHILE DRIVING! PLEASE ISSUE A RECALL ASAP! *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD ESCAPE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH, SHE HEARD A LOUD NOISE AS GREY SMOKE STARTED TO EMIT FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE WAS DEFECTIVE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 74,500.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD ESCAPE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL MADE A NOISE WHILE DRIVING AND TURNING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A PRIVATE MECHANIC FOR INSPECTION WHO LOCATED THE FAILURE AT THE STEERING WHEEL UNIVERSAL SHAFT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE WARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 61,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 62,000.
THE FIRST INCIDENT OCCURRED WHILE I WAS DRIVING 65 MPH ON THE EXPRESSWAY. I WENT TO CHANGE LANES AND HIT THE ACCELERATOR AND THE CAR WOULD NOT ACCELERATE AND WAS SHUDDERING. I HAD PULL OFF THE EXPRESSWAY AND TURN THE CAR OFF. I TRIED RESTARTING AND IT JUST SHUDDERED AGAIN. I WAITED FIVE MINUTES AND TRIED AGAIN AND FINALLY IT STARTED AND WAS ABLE TO SHIFT. TWO DAYS AGO I WAS GETTING OFF THE EXPRESSWAY AND MAKING A LEFT TURN WHEN THE CAR DIED AND I LOST STEERING POWER. I WAS ABLE TO FORTUNATELY GET TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND PUT IT INTO PARK. I TRIED RESTARTING THE CAR AND IT WOULD NOT START. I WAITED 3 MINS AND WAS ABLE TO FINALLY GET IT GOING. BOTH TIMES THERE WAS NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. I HAD THE ESCAPE READ BY A CODE READER DEVICE MULTIPLE TIMES AND THERE ARE NO ERROR CODES DISPLAYED FROM THE COMPUTER. THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS AND POTENTIALLY LIFE THREATENING ISSUE, AND WOULD LIKE FORD TO ACT UPON IT FOR ITS CUSTOMERS IMMEDIATELY. I AM FILING THIS BECAUSE I HAVE READ THAT THE ISSUE IS WITH A DEFECTIVE THROTTLE BODY, AND THERE IS ALREADY AN INVESTIGATION INTO FORD ON THIS ISSUE (PE13-003). I WOULD LIKE MY VEHICLE TO BE ADDED TO THIS INVESTIGATION FOR MY FAMILIES SAFETY AND ALL OTHERS EXPERIENCING THE PROBLEM. *TR
I HAVE TAKEN VERY GOOD CARE OF MY 2006 FORD ESCAPE WITH FREQUENT OIL CHANGES EVERY 2K. I HAVE ALSO HAD A TRANSMISSION REBUILD THAT WAS COMPLETED DURING WARRANTY IN 2010. NO MY CAR IS IN A SHOP WITH DIAGNOSIS THAT THE ENGINE IS BURNED OUT AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. $4500 FOR A USED ENGINE REPLACEMENT. I WAS DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY WITH A CAR FILLED WITH CHILDREN AND WITH NO INDICATION LIGHTS COMING ON THE MOTOR COMPLETELY DIED WHILE I WAS MOVING 65 MPH. I WAS VERY FORTUNATE TO PULL OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WITHOUT A CRASH. THE INDICATION LIGHTS ONLY CAME ON AS THE MOTOR WAS DYING. I TRIED TO RESTART THE ENGINE AND IT WOULD START BUT THEN STARTED TO SMOKE IMMEDIATELY. WHEN I HAVE THE CAR TOWED TO A MECHANIC HE SAID THAT THERE WAS VERY LITTLE OIL IN THE ENGINE. I HAD JUST ADDED 2 QUARTS OF OIL ABOUT 400 MILES BEFORE THIS INCIDENT AND SAW NO LEAKAGE. *TR
WHILE DRIVING ON I-195 EAST GOING TOWARDS BWI THE ENGINE JUST CUT OFF FOR NO REASON OR WARNING THEN A RED TRAINGLE APPEARED STOP SAFELY I WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER SAFELY WAS ALMOST REAR ENDED BY A TRACTOR TRAILER THE CAR WOULD NOT TURN BACK ON FOR ABOUT 5 MIN AFTER IT STARTED I HAD NO POWER WHAT SO EVER WHEN ABOUT 2 MILES AT 30 MILES PER HOUR AND IT DID IT AGAIN MANAGED TO GET IT HOME BASED ON WHAT I HAVE BEEN READING WHY HAS FORD NOT RECALLED THIS ISSUES OR ARE THEY WAITING FOR SOME ONE TO GET KILLED THERE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT. I AM LOOKING INTO GETTING A LAWYER IF FORD DOES NOT WANT TO FIX IT. *TR
THE FIRST INCIDENT WAS THE ABS LIGHT ILLUMINATING AND A CHUGGING SOUND IN 2013.... TOOK IT TO THE LOCAL FORD DEALER AND THE TONE RING ON FRONT DRIVER SIDE WAS BROKEN AND REPLACED FOR $350.00. ON 12 JANUARY 2015, BOTH THE ABS LIGHT AND BRAKE FAILURE LIGHT ILLUMINATED, ALONG WITH MESSAGE TO SERVICE BRAKES. TOOK TO LOCAL FORD DEALER WHERE I WAS INFORMED THE PROBLEM WAS FAILURE OF THE ABS HYDRAULIC SYSTEM --- APPROX. $4,000.00 TO REPLACE. I DON'T HAVE $4,000.00 PLUS AVAILABLE TO INVEST IN THIS 2006 ESCAPE HYBRID.... THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM, HAS BEEN REPEATEDLY REPORTED, AND IS A VEHICLE SAFETY ISSUE THAT FORD APPEARS TO BE DISMISSIVE --- MUCH LIKE GM AND THE ACCELERATION ISSUE. FORTUNATELY, THERE HAVE BEEN NO REPORTED DEATHS DUE TO THIS ISSUE..... YET. WE NEED TO GET A RECALL BEFORE THAT HAPPENS. *TR
AS I WAS TRAVELING ACROSS INTERSTATE 86 IN NEW YORK STATE, AT 65 MILES PER HOUR, MY FORD ESCAPE COMPLETELY LOST POWER. FORTUNATELY FOR ME I WAS RIGHT NEXT TO AN OFF RAMP AND A CONVENIENT MARKET. WHEN I CHECKED THE ENGINE FOR SIGNS OF WHAT COULD HAVE GONE WRONG I FOUND THAT MY ENGINE WAS COMPLETELY OUT OF OIL. I MAINTAIN MY OWN VEHICLES DUE TO THE COSTS OF THE REPAIR SHOPS AND CHECK MY VEHICLES FLUIDS REGULARLY. THERE WERE NO SIGNS OF OIL LOSS WHERE I HAD BEEN PARKING MY VEHICLE AS WELL. WHEN I HAD THE VEHICLE CHECKED AT MY LOCAL REPAIR SHOP THEY TOLD ME IT WAS OUT OF TIME. HOW DOES A CHAIN DRIVEN VEHICLE BECOME OUT OF TIME? AS I RESEARCHED THE PROBLEM ON CAR FORUMS ON THE INTERNET I REALIZED THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE FACING THIS ISSUE. MANY INDIVIDUALS HAVE REPLACED ENGINES IN THIS MODEL YEAR AT VERY UNREASONABLE PRICES SOME ONLY TO HAVE THE SAME ISSUE REOCCUR. I WAS FORTUNATE THAT I WAS NOT IN HEAVY TRAFFIC WHERE THIS SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER COULD HAVE CREATED AN ACCIDENT. I HOPE MORE INDIVIDUALS TAKE THE TIME TO COMPLAIN SO SOMETHING MAY BE DONE ABOUT THIS ISSUE. THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED ISSUE AND THE VEHICLE HAS A REPUTATION FOR FAILURE WHICH UNFORTUNATELY I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT BEFORE I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE. I WORK PART TIME AND CAN NOT AFFORD TO REPAIR THE ONLY VEHICLE I OWN. I AM WITHOUT A VEHICLE DUE TO A MAJOR COMPANY UNWILLING TO TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY OF THEIR INFERIOR PRODUCT. STARTED TO WORK ONE MORNING, HAVE A MANUAL TRANS AFTER DRIVING ABOUT 13 MILES WENT TO SHIFT INTO 4TH THE ACCELERATOR WOULD NOT MOVE. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS IT FINALLY BROKE FREE AND I CONTINUED TO WORK W/O INCIDENT. SINCE THEN IT HAPPENS ON A WEEKLY BASIS DIFFERENT TIMES OF THE DAY AND DIFF TEMPS NO RHYME OR REASON. RESEARCHED AND FOUND MANY OTHER WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS MORNING WAS DIFFERENT. I WAS ONLY 4 MILES FROM HOME AND THE ACCELERATOR WAS STUCK AGAIN. I WAS ONLY IN 2ND GEAR, I PUSHED ON THE ACCELERATOR HARD IT BROKE LOOSE BUT THIS TIME IT GOT STUCK WHILE ALMOST TO THE FLOOR AND THE CAR TOOK OFF SPINNING TIRES. THERE WAS NOT MUCH I COULD DO BUT PUT THE CLUTCH IN SHIFT TO NEUTRAL. WHEN I FINALLY STOPPED THE ACCELERATOR WAS STUCK AGAIN SO THAT I COULD NOT ACCELERATE AND NOW MY CLUTCH WAS GONE. IT IS NOW NOT DRIVABLE. SO VERY VERY DANGEROUS. DOES THERE NEED TO BE A FATALITY FOR SOMETHING TO BE DONE? *JS

WE HAVE A 2006 FORD ESCAPE HYBRID - AND JUST THIS MORNING, UPON HEARING AN ODD RATTLE COMING FROM THE RIGHT REAR WHEN DROPPING OFF MY DAUGHTER AT THE LOCAL VETERINARY HOSPITAL, I INSPECTED THE RIGHT REAR WHEEL HOUSING AND DISCOVERED, TO MY SHOCK, THAT UNDER THE FACTORY BLACK INNER FENDER UNDERCOATING, WHICH WAS HANGING OFF, THE UPPER SHOCK MOUNT WAS ALMOST COMPLETELY PERFORATED WITH RUST, TO THE POINT THAT I COULD FEEL A FLOW OF COLD AIR FROM THE A/C EXITING THE CABIN THROUGH THE PERFORATIONS. I CALLED GANLEY FORD AS SOON AS THEY OPENED, BUT THE BODY SHOP WON'T BE OPEN UNTIL MONDAY. THIS IS MY WIFE'S PRIMARY CAR, AND WITH WHAT I'VE DISCOVERED, I'M RELUCTANT TO HAVE HER, OR ANYONE, DRIVE IT UNTIL THE PROBLEM'S ADDRESSED - AND THE EXTENT OF THE CORROSION IS ASTONISHING. WITH A 400++ POUND BATTERY LOCATED BETWEEN THE LEFT AND RIGHT UPPER SHOCK MOUNTS, AND WITH THE EXTENT OF THE CORROSION I JUST FOUND, I'M EQUALLY CONCERNED FOR THE LEFT REAR UPPER SHOCK MOUNT AND BODY PAN INTEGRITY, AS WELL AS FOR THE HYBRID SYSTEM AND BATTERY PACK. PLEASE HELP ME TO GET INTO IMMEDIATE CONTACT WITH THE PROPER FORD ZONE REPRESENTATIVE TO GET A LOOK AT THIS ISSUE AND DECIDE WHERE TO GO FROM HERE - THIS IS A PREMIUM HYBRID SUV THAT I THOROUGHLY RESEARCHED BEFORE SELECTING TO PURCHASE, AND NOW I'M AFRAID TO EVEN MOVE IT FROM MY PARKING DECK AT THE OFFICE. THIS CAR, AND OTHER ESCAPES SUFFERING FROM THIS SAME ISSUE, ARE ACCIDENTS WAITING TO HAPPEN. A SIMPLE WEB SEARCH SHOWS THAT THERE ARE HUNDREDS, IF NOT THOUSANDS, OF ESCAPES SUFFERING THE SAME ISSUES. MY CAR GAS PEDAL KEEPS STICKING LIKE THERE IS ROCK UNDER IT. I ALMOST WRECKED TONITE BECAUSE OF IT!!!! IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED AND THERE ARE A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE WITH THE SAME ISSUE. *TR
MY VEHICLE DIES WHEN THE TRUCK IS WARMED UP AND I PUT IT IN GEAR WITH MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE. IT DIES AT STOP LIGHTS AND STOP SIGNS AND IN REVERSE. ANOTHER TECHNICIAN TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO RIDE AROUND WITH THAT PROBLEM BECAUSE IT WAS NOT THROWING A CODE. AFTER A WEEK, I TOOK IT BACK TO THE FORD DEALER IN CLEVELAND, MS, AND THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT MANAGER TOLD ME IT WAS PROBABLY THE THROTTLE BODY ACTUATOR. BUT, THAT IT WAS ON NATIONAL BACK ORDER. I LEFT THE CAR WITH THE FORD DEALER, AND THEY SAID THEY REPLACED THE THROTTLE VALVE AT A COST OF $900. THE TRUCK DIED ON THE WAY HOME FROM THE DEALER WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. *TR

THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH AND DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL THE ABS WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THE WARNING CHIME WAS ALSO ACTIVATED. THE BRAKES ALSO FAILED TO RESPOND WHEN THEY WERE APPLIED. THE CONTACT CONTINUED TO DEPRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL UNTIL THEY ENGAGED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED TWICE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS WHERE THE TECHNICIAN STATED THE MASTER CYLINDER BOOSTER ASSEMBLY WAS LEAKING BRAKE FLUID AND NOT ENGAGING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 78,000. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE JUMPER HARNESS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. PART 1: I PURCHASED THIS USED VEHICLE FROM WHAT IS A WELL KNOWN DEALERSHIP IN MY AREA OF LIVING ON 3/21/13. AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE DATE THE FIRST BRAKE FAILURE HAPPENED, IT WAS 4 DAYS AFTER I DROVE THE VEHICLE OFF THE LOT. THE BRAKE AND ABS LIGHTS ILLUMINATED ON THE DASH ON MY WAY HOME FROM WORK. THANKFULLY, BESIDES BEING SCARED TO DEATH, I WAS OK. THE DEALERSHIP TOWED MY VEHICLE AND STATED THEY "MIRACULOUSLY" (MY SARCASM) HAD BRAKES WHEN DRIVING IT FROM THE TOW TRUCK INTO THE SHOP. THEY HAD GREAT DIFFICULTIES FIGURING OUT WHAT WAS WRONG AND HAD EVEN TALKED WITH THE FORD COMPANY AND CAME UP WITH THE HYDRAULICS SYSTEM BEING THE ISSUE WHICH WAS THEN REPLACED BY THE DEALERSHIP. AT A LATER TIME WITH FURTHER OCCURRENCE, I WAS INFORMED THE MODULAR HAD ALSO AT THE FIRST BRAKE FAILURE BEEN REPLACED, ALTHOUGH THERE IS NO PROOF OF THAT ON MY SERVICE RECORD (ANOTHER ISSUE). AFTER REPLACING THESE ITEMS, THE DEALERSHIP CONTINUED TO HAVE DIFFICULTIES TRYING TO GET THE BRAKE AND ABS LIGHTS FROM ILLUMINATING ON THE DASH AND APPARENTLY HAD TO UNHOOK SOME VACUUM PUMP TO CORRECT ISSUE. FOLLOWING THIS I WAS ASSURED EVERYTHING WAS FIXED. SECOND BRAKE FAILURE WAS ON 5/26/13. THANKFULLY,I WAS JUST COMING TO A STOP AT MY RESIDENCE WHEN THIS OCCURRED! AGAIN VEHICLE WAS TOWED. TO MY AMAZEMENT, THIS HAD HAPPENED ONCE TO THE PREVIOUS OWNER.....FUNNY, THE DEALERSHIP AND FORD WERE INVOLVED AND STATED IT COULD HAVE BEEN A MODULAR OR A "FLUKE" AND NOTHING WAS DONE AT THAT TIME AND THE VEHICLE WAS TRADED SHORTLY AFTER. 1) WE HAVE BEEN RECEIVING A YELLOW WRENCH LIGHT INDICATING MAINTENANCE NEEDED OFF AND ON FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS EVEN THOUGH WE WERE WELL WITHIN THE MAINTENANCE PERIOD. THIS TURNS OUT TO BE AN ISSUE WITH THE BLEND DOOR FOR ALLOWING AIR COOLING OF THE HYBRID BATTERIES. 2) THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT COMPLETELY FOR THE CAR. WE HAVE HAD NO PRIOR PROBLEMS WITH THE STEERING, AND THE SYSTEM CHECK SHOWED NO PROBLEM (I BELIEVE IT CHECKS FLUID LEVELS) SO THE PROBLEM APPEARED TO BE ELECTRICAL. *TR

AGAIN, HAVING IT TOWED TO MY CAR REPAIR AGAIN, IT TURNS OUT THAT THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM NEEDED REPLACING. I ONLY HAVE 67K ON MY CAR AND AFTER SPENDING ANOTHER $600 TO FIX, I AM NOT A HAPPY CONSUMER!
