WHILE TRAVELING DOWN THE HIGHWAY IN PLOVER WISCONSIN, SMOKE BEGAN TO POUR INTO THE VEHICLE VIA THE FRONT VENTS. I LOOKED FORWARD AND SAW MASSIVE FLAMES COMING FROM UNDER MY HOOD. I QUICKLY PULLED OVER, SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF AND RAN. I CALL 911, WHERE IT TOOK 15 FIREMEN AND 500 GAL OF WATER TO PUT OUT THE 10FT FLAMES (SEE FIRE REPORT). THE ENTIRE FRONT END OF MY CAR HAS BEEN DESTROYED ALONG WITH ALL THE CONTENTS. THE FIRE BROKE THROUGH THE FIREWALL AND MELTED UNDERNEATH THE DASHBOARD. FRONT TIRES EXPLODED
THE BACK LEFT REAR DOOR OPENED WHILE DRIVING HIGHWAY, WITH MY 9 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IN THE BACK SEAT. THANKS GOD NO ONE GET HURT. BUT IT WAS A VERY TRAUMATIC MOMENT FOR US. THEN WHEN I VISIT THE DEALER FORD MAYAGUEZ PUERTO RICO THEY SAID THAT I MUST PAY FOR REPLACEMENTS OF LATCHES. I LOOK FOR THE SAFETY RECALLS OF MY VEHICLE FORD ESCAPE 2013 AND IT WAS THE SAFETY RECALL #NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER 13V-085 LATCHES/LOCK/LINKAGES. THE DEALER SAID THAT MY UNIT BY VIN # WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. I HAVE A CONCERN, IT HAPPEN TO MY UNIT AND THERE ARE A LOT OF FORD ESCAPE VEHICLES AFFECTED, IT COULD BE WORST, I ASK FOR YOUR HELP IN THIS MATTER. IS NOT FAIR THAT MY 2013 FORD ESCAPE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL WHEN THAT PROBLEM HAPPEN TO IT, THANK YOU IN ADVANCE. I CAN NOT USE IT IF I HAVE TO PARK IT BECAUSE THE DOOR DOESN'T CLOSE. HELP ME PLEASE.

ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, WHILE DRIVING, THE CONTACT HEARD A BEEPING NOISE AND THE ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED, INDICATING THAT THE ENGINE WAS OVERHEATING. AFTERWARDS, THE VEHICLE SEIZED. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO GWINNETT PLACE FORD (3230 SATELLITE BLVD, DULUTH, GA 30096, (404) 418-6877) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE COOLANT SYSTEM LEAKED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE DEALER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE ENGINE WOULD NEED TO BE TAKEN APART. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 12V551000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THE CONTACT TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO A FORD DEALER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNAVAILABLE.
MOTOR STARTED RUNNING VERY POORLY MISSING AND BUCKING WITH REDUCED POWER THEN THE ENGINE DEFAULT SERVICE NOW LIGHT CAME ON I TOOK IT TO THE CLOSEST FORD DEALER WHERE THEY FINALLY TOLD ME IT HAS A WIRING HARNESS ISSUE WHICH IS NOT COVERED BY MANUFACTURER ALTHOUGH THIS SAME ISSUE HAS BEEN RECALLED FOR OTHER ESCAPES WITH DIFFERENT ENGINE SIZE. *TR
WE WERE TRAVELLING IN COLORADO. SUDDENLY ENGINE STARTED TO SMOKE. WE PULLED OVER. HAD THE CAR TOWED TO GARAGE. WAS COMPLETE ENGINE FAILURE.
STEERING WHEEL WAS HARD TO STEER FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS. I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST FROM THE COLD WEATHER. I COULD HEAR A GRINDING SOUND WHEN I BACKED THE CAR OUT OF MY GARAGE. TOOK MY CAR TO THE DEALER AND THEY HAVE TO REPLACE 3 DIFFERENT PARTS IN THE STEERING. IT IS GOING TO COST ME $2000.00 I DON'T THINK A CAR THAT IS ONLY 3 YEARS OLD SHOULD HAVE THIS PROBLEM AND I AM NOT VERY HAPPY. *TR
VEHICLE LOSES POWER AND STALLS EITHER IDLING AFTER START OR WITHIN A TENTH OF A MILE. THIS OCCURS EVEN IF THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN DRIVEN EXTENSIVELY THEN PARKED AND RESTARTED OR FROM A COLD START. THIS CONDITION IS HAZARDOUS AS POWER HAS BEEN LOST ENTERING TRAFFIC. THE CAR MUST BE STOPPED AND PLACED IN PARK AND RESTARTED. THIS OCCURS ABOUT EVERY OTHER DAY. FORD DEALERSHIP REPLACED SPLICES IN WIRING HARNESS PER FORD TSB15-0005. PROBLEM RECURRED. RETURNED TO FORD. THROTTLE BODY REPLACED. PROBLEM RECURRED; RETURNING TO FORD AGAIN. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD ESCAPE. WHILE DRIVING AT 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO VIBRATE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE SHAFT AND JOINT ASSEMBLY, BUSHING, SEALS, RIGHT FRONT AXLE, AND SHAFT JOINT FORWARD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. FIVE MONTHS LATER WHILE DRIVING AT 65 MPH, THE CONTACT NOTICED STRONG FUEL FUMES EMITTING IN AND AROUND THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER, WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL LINES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE CONTACT WAS AWARE OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V584000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE) HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 54,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD ESCAPE. WHILE DRIVING AT 30 MPH, THE VEHICLE DECELERATED, THE TRANSMISSION FAILED TO SHIFT INTO GEAR, AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE ENGINE WAS SHUT OFF AND RESTARTED, AND THE VEHICLE RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION. THE FAILURE RECURRED MULTIPLE TIMES INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 14,200.
RECALL REPAIR DONE IN AUGUST 2014 FOR WELL PUBLICIZED LOCALIZED OVERHEATING OF CYLINDER HEAD ISSUE. HAVE HAD TWO INSTANCES OF OVERHEATING SINCE... THE LAST INCIDENT OCCURRED ON 2/19. THE VEHICLE WENT TO LOW POWER MODE AND INSTRUCTED MY WIFE TO PULL OVER IMMEDIATELY AND STOP ENGINE... SHE DID.... AFTER SITTING FOR APPROX 10 MINUTES SHE RESTARTED THE ENGINE AND TEMPERATURES RETURNED TO NORMAL HOWEVER THE ENGINE LIGHT IS NOW ON AND I WILL BE TAKING THE VEHICLE FOR REPAIRS AGAIN ON MONDAY. I AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT THE RELIABILITY OF THIS VEHICLE AND SPECIFICALLY THIS ENGINE OPTION. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT DAMAGE WAS CAUSED BY THIS LATEST INCIDENT... I'M SURE THERE WILL BE SOME RESIDUAL LONGEVITY IMPACTS IF I KEEP THE VEHICLE. I PREDICT THAT THIS ENGINE WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE ISSUES.. BOTH INCIDENTS DID OCCUR DURING EXTREME COLD (BELOW ZERO) SO IT SEEMS TO BE COOLING SYSTEM RELATED... WHICH WAS THE BASIS OF THE ORIGINAL RECALL. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD ESCAPE. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE SHOOK WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE REAR CONTROL ARM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 44,196.

THE CONTACT LATER RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V643000 (LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES ) BUT THE INTERIM NOTICE INDICATED THAT THE PARTS MAY BECOME AVAILABLE MID SECOND QUARTER OF 2017 SO THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHEN THE VEHICLE WOULD BE REPAIRED. THE CONTACT FELT THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAD EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REMEDY. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD ESCAPE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE COOLANT INDICATOR KEPT ILLUMINATING AND THE VEHICLE STALLED SEVERAL TIMES. TWO DEALERS (BURDICK FORD, 3004 EAST AVE, CENTRAL SQUARE, NY 13036, (315) 668-7102 AND ROMANO FORD, 5431 N BURDICK ST, FAYETTEVILLE, NY 13066, (315) 637-4491) WERE UNABLE TO REPLICATE AND DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE MORE THAN ONCE. THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO PROGRESS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A THIRD DEALER (BEACH FORD, 2717 VIRGINIA BEACH BLVD, VIRGINIA BEACH, VA 23452, (757) 486-2717) FOR FURTHER DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN A WARRANTY CAMPAIGN, BUT THE STATUTE HAD EXPIRED; THEREFORE, THEY PROVIDED NO SOLUTION OTHER THAN THE CONTACT REPAIRING THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
THE DOORS ON THIS CAR DO NOT STAY OPEN & FREQUENTLY CLOSE ON YOU WHEN YOUR ENTERING OR EXITING THE CAR (EVEN ON LEVEL GROUND). AFTER OPENING THE DOOR TO GET IN, IT CLOSED BACK ON MY HIP BONE CAUSING AN INJURY. NHTSA NEEDS TO MAKE FORD REPLACE DOOR HINGES ON THIS CAR.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD ESCAPE. WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE "ENGINE FAULT" MESSAGE SUDDENLY DISPLAYED AND THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO HESITATE, SHUTTER, AND VIBRATE BEFORE REDUCING SPEED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (MAHWAH FORD ON FRANKLIN TURN PIKE, MAHWAH, NJ) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FAILURE WAS DUE TO INSUFFICIENT COMPRESSION IN THE ENGINE WIRING HARNESS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V813000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED THE SAME FAILURE LISTED IN THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD ESCAPE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 35 MPH, THE VEHICLE OVERHEATED AND STALLED. ADDITIONALLY, THE ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 38,000.
ON JANUARY 28, 2015 , WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE IN THE CITY OF TRUJILLO PERU . THE ENGINE STOPPED, THE WITNESSES OF THE ENGINE , OIL AND ALSO THE BATTERY SIGN LIT UP. SO I DECIDED TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THE AUTHORIZED FORD ,, WHERE FORD MECHANICS DETERMINED THAT THE ENGINE HAD NO OIL, INTERCOOLER AND DUCTS , SPARK BURNT WITH OIL RESIDUE WORKSHOP. THEN THE WORKSHOP ASKS ME TO AUTHORIZE DISASSEMBLE THE ENGINE TO REPAIR , THE VEHICLE HAD 12.583 KM LONG, AND IS WITHIN THE FACTORY WARRANTY THEN , ASK THE COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING OF THE CITY OF TRUJILLO TO CONDUCT AN OCULAR INSPECTION. TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAULT AND THE DETERMINATION OF THE SEVERITY OCCURRED IN THE VEHICLE , OF COURSE WITH THE CONSENT OF FORD PERU , FORD WHICH HE REFUSED TO PERFORM AN EXPERT .
THE CAR HAS HID HEADLIGHTS. THESE LIGHTS USE A "SHUTTER" TO CUT OFF THE LIGHT ON "LOW BEAM". THE "SHUTTER" IS STUCK AND DOES NOT RAISE TO OBSCURE THE LAMP IN "LOW BEAM" LEAVING THE LAMP ON "HIGH BEAM" WHENEVER THE HEADLAMPS ARE ON. OUR ESCAPE HAS THIS PROBLEM ON THE DRIVERS SIDE RESULTING IN MANY FLASHES FROM ONCOMING DRIVERS. THIS IS A CLEAR SAFETY PROBLEM AS IT IMPAIRS THE VISION OF ONCOMING TRAFFIC AND WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER IT. FORD WILL NOT RECOGNIZE THIS AS A SAFETY ISSUE. THEY WILL ONLY REPAIR IT IF IT FALLS IN THE 3 YR. 36,000 MILE WARRANTY. I HAVE FOUND INCIDENTS ON THE INTERNET GOING CLEAR BACK TO 2005 ON FORD FOCUS CARS WITH SAME PROBLEM. *TR
MY FORD ESCAPE 2013 SEL CAME WITH LUGNUTS THAT HAVE METAL CUPS AND THESE EXPENDED CAUSING ISSUES WHEN TRYING TO TAKE THEM OFF. NO ONE WAS ABLE TO FIND A SOCKET THAT WOULD FIT THE NOW BIGGER LUGNUTS. I HAD TO TAKE THE CAR TO THE MECHANICS TO GET ALL THE ORIGINAL BAD LUGNUTS OFF AND REPLACED THEM WITH ALL NEW ONES. THESE TYPE OF LUGNUTS SHOULD BE LABELED AS DEFECTIVE AND BE RECALLED. I HAD TO SPEND ABOUT $300 TO TAKE THEM OFF AND HAVE THEM ALL REPLACED. FORD WILL NOT PAY FOR ANY OF THIS UNLESS THERE IS A RECALL. *TR
JUST TURNED ON CAR AND WAS PULLING OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY. THE INFORMATION LIGHT CAME ON AND SAID IT WAS LOW ON COOLANT. I NOTICED A BURNING TYPE SMELL WHEN I GOT OUT OF THE CAR TO SEE HOW LOW THE COOLANT WAS. THIS CAR HAD BEEN RECALLED BEFORE FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS AND OVERHEATING. I TOOK MY CAR IN TO GET THAT RECALL FIXED IN MAY 2014 AND NOW IT'S HAVING THAT PROBLEM AGAIN. I DON'T KNOW IF SOMETHING ELSE BROKE OR THAT THEY DIDN'T FIX IT RIGHT. I DIDN'T BUY THIS CAR BRAND NEW SO I COULD TAKE IT IN LIKE 5 TIMES FOR RECALLS. I ALSO CHECKED THE COOLANT LEVEL LAST WEEK AND IT WAS AT THE LEVEL IT SHOULD BE AT...SO IT MAY BE A FAST LEAK. *TR
CAR HAS BEEN GIVING US AN ERROR MESSAGE "ENGINE FAULT SERVICE NOW" SINCE WE BOUGHT THE VEHICLE. FORD HAS BEEN UNABLE TO REPAIR FOR THE LIFE OF THE VEHICLE. THE CAR HAS NO STARTED TO SHUT OFF IN TRAFFIC. THE INCIDENT ON 12/27 I WAS SLOWING DOWN IN HEAVY TRAFFIC AND THE VEHICLE SHUT OFF. CARS WHERE ABLE TO AVOID US AND WE WERE ABLE GET THE CAR RESTARTED BUT IT IS BECOMING A HAZARD TO NOT ONLY US BUT EVERYONE ON THE ROAD. TWO WEEKS PRIOR THE CAR SHUT OFF WHILE WE WERE AT A RED LIGHT. FORD HAS BEEN UNABLE TO FIX AND UNWILLING TO WORK WITH US ON THIS ISSUE. I HAVE SEEN COMMENTS ON LINE THAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE FACED SIMILAR PROBLEMS WITH THE 2013 ESCAPE. WE JUST WANT THE SAFE WORKING CAR THAT WE THOUGHT WE PAID FOR. WE HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING AND BEEN VERY PATIENT BUT NOW IT IS A SAFETY HAZARD. *TR
ON DECEMBER 20, 2014 AT APPROXIMATELY 3:30 PM WE WERE DRIVING ON I15 - INTO SALT LAKE CITY - 19 MILES SOUTH OF I-80. PASSENGER MOON ROOF SHATTERED WITH A LOUD BANG! SOUNDED LIKE AN EXPLOSION. IT RAISED UP THE GLASS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE CAR. THE TEMPERATURE WAS 41 DEGREES OUTSIDE & 71 DEGREES INSIDE CARE. MY HUSBAND & I WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THE CAR. WE WERE IN 5-6 LANES OF TRAFFIC & DID NOT STOP UNTIL WE GOT OFF THE HIGHWAY. RAIN WAS COMING SO WE TOOK PICTURES WITH OUR CAMERA & I PHONE & TAPED UP THE ROOF OVER THE CRACKS & COVERED IT WITH A TARP. WE RETURNED TO BOISE AREA THE FOLLOWING DAY. WE PARKED IT IN OUR GARAGE UNTIL WE COULD DELIVER THE CAR TO LITHIA FORD IN BOISE ON 12/22/14. (WE PURCHASED IT FROM LITHIA FORD) THE SERVICE TECH SAID HE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE COVERED BY WARRANTY BUT WOULD HAVE TO CONTACT FORD & GET BACK WITH US. WE RESEARCHED THIS PROBLEM & SAW IN THE PAST THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED. FORD MADE THE DECISION, IT WAS SOMETHING WE DID & WE THEREFORE HAD TO TURN IT INTO OUR INSURANCE & WE HAD TO PAY THE DEDUCTIBLE. WE BELIEVE FORD SHOULD HAVE COVERED THIS DAMAGE, NOT OUR INSURANCE COMPANY. *TR

AND .SOME OTHER RECALLS, LIKE 2.- (RECALL NO. 13Y03 FUEL LINE JUMPER), 3.-(RECALL NO. 14SO4 REPROGRAM RESTRAINS CONTROL), AND 4.-(RECAL NO.14S03 EXTERIOR DOOR HANDLE) SINCE THAT DAY IVE CALLED MANY TIMES TO SERVICE MANAGER IVAN REGARDING THIS. MY CAR HAS BEEN MALFUNTIONING OVERHEATING IN THE FREEWAY, AND IN THE STREETS, MOST OF THE TIMES, EVEN WHEN IT WAS RIGHT OUT OF THE SERVICE, I WAS GOING ON A VACATION WITH MY FAMILY, WHERE I EVEN HAD D TO PAY TO REPLACE ENGINE COOLANT BYPASS VALVE, $330.18 DLLS BECAUSE MY CAR IS OVER 30,000 MILES BUT NOT YET 3 YEARS .AND AT THIS TIME THEY PERFORMED ANOTHER RECALL ????? YES... THIS WAS RECALL NO 14S21 RESTRAINTS CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT. AND NOW WHEN I GOT MY CAR OUT OF HORNE FORD NOGALES AZ. WHEN I TURN I HEAR A SOUND ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY TIRES OR BRAKES NEED A SOLUTION PLEASE HELP WHAT CAN I DO I NEED A SOLUTION THIS IS NOT FAIR

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE VEHICLE RESTARTED AFTER NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V495000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 54,000.
AFTER RUNNING 15 MILES, VEHICLE WAS SHUT OFF 10 MINS, ON RESTART A CHIME SOUNDED AND THE INFORMATION CENTER INDICATED SERVICE STEERING ASSIST, ATTEMPTED TO TURN WHEEL AND HAD NO POWER STEERING. TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED CAR, INFORMATION CENTER WAS CLEAR, POWER STEERING WORKED FINE. LOSS OF POWER STEERING IS OF COURSE AN UNSAFE VEHICLE CONDITION. THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN TURNED IN TO BROWN DAUB FORD IN NAZARETH, PA WHERE IT WAS REPORTED TO HAVE DIED TWICE ON THE ROAD. THEY THEN REPORTED IT DIED ON THEM TWICE ALSO. THEY REPLACED THE ENGINE FUEL PUMP AS THIS IS THE ECOBOOST THERE ARE TWO PUMPS (ONE AT FUELTANK ONE AT ENGINE) AND RETURNED THE CAR. IT DROVE FOR 30 MINUTES AND DIED AGAIN IN AN INTERSECTION WHERE IT ALMOST CAUSED A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. THE DEALERSHIP WROTE UP THE COMPLAINT AS CAR WANTS TO STALL WHICH IS NOT WHAT WAS SAID. THEY WERE TOLD IT DIED AND WAS DANGEROUS, THEY RETURNED IT WITH THE SAME MILEAGE AS THEY TOOK IT IN SO IT WAS NOT TEST DRIVEN. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS PROBLEM AND WILL CAUSE A DEATH. THIS IN TURN CAUSES MUCH LOWER FUEL ECONOMY THAN THE VEHICLE IS CAPABLE AND ADVERTISED TO GET. TO TOP IT OFF THE COOLANT IS LEAKING ON THE FLOOR IN GARAGE AND CAR RUNS ROUGHER AND HAS NEARLY STALLED AT INTERSECTIONS MULTIPLE TIMES (WITH MY 2 YR OLD DAUGHTER IN THE CAR) CLEARLY THEY ARE INCAPABLE OF REPAIRING BUT INFORMED US THEY WILL DO NOTHING ELSE. *TR

10/29/14: WHILE IN THE BUFFALO, NY AREA, I TURNED ON THE CAR AND NOTICED THE ENGINE FAULT SERVICE NOW' NOTICE CAME ON. AFTER I CLICKED OK TO MAKE THE MESSAGE GO AWAY I PUT THE CAR IN DRIVE AND TRIED TO ACCELERATE BUT NOTICED THE ENGINE WAS VERY SLUGGISH. THE CAR HAD NO PICKUP EVEN WITH THE LITTLE PRESSURE I APPLIED TO THE GAS PEDAL. THE TACHOMETER WAS ACTING SPORADIC AND THE ENGINE FELT AS THOUGH IT WAS CLOSE TO CUTTING OUT.
