MY SON WAS DRIVING AND MADE A U TURN ON A CITY STREET AND DURING THE END OF THE U TURN THE PASSENGER CONTROL ARM SNAPPED NEAREST TO THE WHEEL. THE CAR DID NOT HIT A CURB OR RUN OVER ANYTHING TO CAUSE THE BREAK. THE LOCAL POLICE DEPT, TOW TRUCK DRIVER AND MYSELF INSPECTED THE AREA AND THERE WAS NOTHING THAT WAS "HIT" TO CAUSE THIS. ONCE THE MECHANIC WAS ABLE TO LOOK AT THE CONTROL ARM WHEN IT WAS ON THE HOIST THEY POINTED OUT TO US THAT THE METAL CONTROL ARM WAS DEFECTIVE WHEN IT WAS CAST OR WASN'T FABRICATED CORRECTLY. THE METAL WAS LESS DENSE AND MORE HOLLOW ON ONE SIDE OF THE BREAK THAN THE OTHER SIDE. THE BREAK WAS A CLEAN BREAK WITHOUT JAGGED EDGES. THIS WAS THE CAUSE OF THE BROKEN CONTROL ARM. WE WHERE LUCKY SINCE MY SON DRIVES THE FREEWAY AT 65MPH SPEEDS ALMOST ON A DAILY BASIS AND IF THIS FRONT CONTROL ARM BROKE AT THOSE SPEEDS HE WOULD HAVE LOST CONTROL OF HIS CAR AND CAUSE A MAJOR ACCIDENT AND THERE COULD HAVE BEEN A LOSS OF LIFE. WE HAD ROUTINE MAINTENANCE WORK DONE ON THE CAR IN OCTOBER AND THE MECHANIC SAID HE SAW NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR THEN AND SUGGESTED THAT SINCE THE DRIVER SIDE CONTROL ARM WAS ALSO AN ORIGINAL PART AND PROBABLY CAST AT THE SAME TIME AND USING THE SAME METHODS THAT IT WAS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THE DRIVER SIDE CONTROL ARM GAVE OUT SIMILARLY. WE OPTED TO PAY THE ADDED COST TO REPLACE BOTH FRONT CONTROL ARMS SINCE OUR SON'S SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT.
THERE IS CURRENTLY A RECALL FOR FORD EXPLORES 2011-2013. THE RECALL IS LISTED AS 14S06. I WAS TOLD BY FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT MY VIN NUMBER IS NOT COVERED IN THAT RECALL. I WOULD LIKE TO APPEAL THAT. IN JANUARY 2020 MY POWER STEERING FAILED AND MY VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED TO A SHOP AND THE STEERING RACK AND ASSEMBLY HAD TO BE REPLACED. THIS COST ABOUT 3K IN OUT OF POCKET COSTS FOR ME TO REPAIR. LESS THEN 3 MONTHS LATER MY POWER STEERING FAILED AGAIN. THIS RESULTED IN MY VEHICLE HAVING TO BE TOWED TO THE SHOP AGAIN I WAS THEN TOLD THAT THE POWER STEERING CONTROL MODULE NEEDED TO BE UPDATED AND IT WAS ANOTHER ALMOST $400 FOR THEM TO UPDATE THE MODULE. ALL OF THE ABOVE ISSUES ARE THE SAME ISSUES LISTED IN THE RECALL UNDER 14S06. THE ONLY ISSUE IS MY VIN NUMBER IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECALL. I'D LIKE TO APPEAL THE DECISION THAT DID NOT INCLUDE MY VEHICLE IN THE VIN LISTING FOR THIS RECALL. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD EXPLORER. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 55MPH, UNKNOWN WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED AND THE POWER STEERING FAILED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE SAFELY HOME. THE CONTACT SCHEDULED A DIAGNOSTIC APPOINTMENT AT A DEALER (FINLEY MOTORS 942 3RD ST SE, MAYVILLE, ND 58257). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DRIVABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE 170,000.
The vehicle has been in for service at Downs Ford Dealership twice in the past two years for the same issue and has yet to be resolved. When the gas tank is filled with gas, there is overwhelming smell of gas that doesn’t get better until the tank is about half full. The first time the car was in for service, I was told that the gas tank needed to be replaced but they were having trouble finding one. They said to take the car home and they would call when they found one but they never called. The vehicle was brought in a 2nd time to fix the issue in July of 2021. At that time we were told a valve needed to be replaced and charged $500 but it has not fixed the issue. I’m frustrated and tired of wasting $ and time without my car when they don’t seem to be able to fix it. Consumer would like to would like to withdraw the complaint.

THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE LOCAL DEALER SAM SCISM MOTORS (5019 FLAT RIVER RD., FARMINGTON MO) AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE BOTH NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 170,000.
THE INTERFACE MODULE ON FORD EXPLORER STOP WORKING AND HAZARD LIGHTS STAY ON AND ONLY FIX AND BY A DEALERSHIP
DRIVING AT 35+ ENTERING ON RAMP MPH THE CAR LOST ALL POWER AND JUST STOPPED. THE ENGINE SHUT OFF. NO WARNING LIGHTS OR ALARMS WENT OFF BEFOREHAND. ONCE THE CAR STOPPED, THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, THE LOW PRESSURE LAMP TOO AND AN ALARM SOUNDED. I CALLED A TOW TRUCK AND HAD IT TOWED TO (TOLD ME MY ENGINE WAS MILKY DESTOYED)TWO DEALEARS THEN TO FORD. THEY CALLED THIS MORNING AND SAID THE WATER PUMP WENT OUT CAUSING CATASTROPHIC DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE. THE ENGINE HAS TO BE REPLACED. THEY QUOTED $8,000.00. HAD TO GET A $10,000 LOAN. [TO REPLACE STEERING AND ENGINE] THIS IS THE FIRST ONE (IT SEEMS TO BE HEADED IN THE SAME DIRECTION BUT ONLY SOONER) *PLEASE HELP ME I CAN'T AFFORD THIS AGAIN**WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, MY POWER STEERING WENT OUT WITHOUT WARNING. I LOST ALL POWER STEERING AND THEN THE POWER STEERING ALARM CAME ON. TOOK IT TO FORD AND HAD THE POWER STEERING REPLACED AT A COST OF $1800.00. THEN, LESS THEN 2 WEEKS LATER WHILE DRIVING AT 40 MPH, THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT AGAIN. AND AGAIN, NO WARNING LIGHTS UNTIL THE POWER STEERING WEN OUT. FORD SAID IT WAS BECAUSE MY TIRES HAD LOW TREAD AND I NEEDED TO REPLACE MY FRONT TIRES, WHICH WE HAD THEM DO. 8 MONTHS AGO, THE TRANSFER CASE WENT OUT AND HAD TO BE REPLACED ALSO WHEN PLACED IN PARK VEHICLE SHUT OFF COMPLETELY SHOWING A LOW PRESSURE OIL LAMP. HAPPENED IN MY FIRST ENGINE NOW IT'S HAPPENING IN THIS NEW ONE AND ITS NOT 2YRS OLD YET JUST GOT THE NEW ENGINE MAY/ JUNE OF 2019. THE FIRST ENGINE WASN'T 10 YEARS OLD . THE FIRST ENGINE ALL THIS HAPPENED APPROXIMATELY BETWEEN 2016 AND 2019 ONGOING UNTIL 2019 I GUESS THE WATER PUMP GAVE UP.O1 O1 2020 FOR THE SECOND ENGINE ON THE SAME COURSE AS THE FIRST
The contact owns a 2011 Ford Explorer. The contact stated that the APIM (Accessory Protocol Interface Module) had become defective which caused the front and rear defrosters to not operate as needed. The contact also stated that the APIM failure had caused the rear backup camera to not function. The contact had taken the vehicle to the dealer and was provided an estimate for the repair. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.
EXPERIENCED LOSS OF ELECTRIC POWER STEERING ASSIST WHILE DRIVING ON WINDING MOUNTAIN ROAD WITHIN 11 MONTHS OF HAVING RECALL 14S06 PERFORMED ON VEHICLE. WAS INFORMED BY FORD SERVICE THAT CAUSE WAS FAILURE OF PART REPLACED TO RESOLVE RECALL 14S06.
WE'VE HAD OUR 2011 FORD EXPLORER FOR LESS THAN A YEAR. WE BOUGHT IT USED WITH APPROXIMATELY 130,000 MILES ON IT, IT NOW CURRENTLY HAS APPROXIMATELY 190,000 MILES. WE WERE ABOUT TO LEAVE OUR HOUSE, SO THE EXPLORER WAS STATIONARY AT THE TIME. I STARTED IT UP AND IMMEDIATELY AN ERROR POPPED UP ON THE DASH FOR "POWER STEERING FAULT" AND "ADVANCETRAC" WARNING. I ATTEMPTED TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE, BUT WITHOUT POWER STEERING I WOULD BE PUTTING MY FAMILY AND MYSELF IN DANGER. LUCKILY THIS HAPPENED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY. IF MY WIFE WERE OUT DRIVING AND THIS HAPPENED, IT COULD HAVE BEEN VERY BAD FOR HER AND MY KIDS. WE SET UP AN APPOINTMENT THE FORD DEALERSHIP IN OUR TOWN, THEY FOUND THAT THE POWER STEERING RACK NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND TOLD US THAT IT WOULD COST ~$2100. I TOLD THEM IT SHOULD BE COVERED BECAUSE OF A RECALL I FOUND ONLINE FOR THIS PROBLEM. THEY TOLD ME TO CALL FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE. MY WIFE CALLED AND THEY TOLD HER THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. I PROCEEDED TO CALL BACK THE FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SPOKE TO A REP. AFTER GETTING THE RUN AROUND HE FINALLY GAVE ME A CASE NUMBER TO GIVE TO THE FORD DEALERSHIP, EXPRESSING THAT THIS WOULD BE FULLY COVERED UNDER A FIELD SERVICE ACTION #: 15N01 FOR EPAS STEERRING EFFORTS, WITH NO COST TO ME. I GAVE THE CASE NUMBER TO THE FORD SERVICE REP. TODAY I GET A CALL BACK THAT THE CASE NUMBER IS DECLINED BY FORD BECAUSE OUR VEHICLE HAS OVER 150,000 MILES ON IT. WE NEVER GOT A RECALL NOTICE IN THE MAIL OR A CALL FROM FORD MENTIONING THE RECALL BEFORE THE 150,000 MILE DEADLINE. WE'VE HAD THIS VEHICLE FOR LESS THAN A YEAR AND STILL OWE $8000 ON IT, AND FORD WANTS $2100 TO REPAIR A PART THAT THEY KNEW WAS A COMMON PROBLEM.

THE VEHICLE WAS POWERED OFF AND RESTARTED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE CONTACT CALLED BEDFORD FORD LINCOLN (6985 LINCOLN HWY, BEDFORD, PA 15522, (814) 623-8154) AND SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 153,494.
POWER STEERING QUIT WORKING. VEHICLE CONSOLE DISPLAYED 'POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT'. FORD DEALERSHIP WOULD NOT REPAIR SINCE OUR VEHICLE WAS OVER 150,000 MILES. MILEAGE WAS 175,000 WHEN IT STOPPED WORKING.
AFTER DRIVING FOR A LITTLE WHILE AND THEN STOPPING AT A STOP LIGHT I SMELL EXHAUST COMING IN THROUGH THE VENT.I ONLY NOTICE IT WHEN AT A STOP.
LOSS POWER STEERING, STEERING WHEEL LOCKED WHEN ATTEMPTING TO BACK UP FROM PARKING SPACE. COULD NOT STEER WHEEL IN THE DIRECTION TO BACK OUT OF THE PARKING SPACE.

LOSS OF POWER STEERING. THERE IS A RECALL FOR THIS CONCERN FOR MY MODEL YEAR BUT MY VIN IS NOT INCLUDED.

THE DEALER STATED THAT THE POWER STEERING RACK NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED BEFORE REPROGRAMMING THE MODULE, AND THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OVER THE WARRANTY MILEAGE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT ANYTHING OUTSIDE OF THE RECALL REPAIR WOULD HAVE TO BE PAID OUT OF POCKET. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 151,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD EXPLORER. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED; HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE WAS SLUGGISH AND LOST POWER. ALSO, THE BRAKES AND STEERING BECAME INOPERABLE AND THE OIL PRESSURE AND CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATORS WERE ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT ALSO HEARD AN ABNORMAL CRANKING NOISE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE WATER PUMP FAILED AND OIL WAS IN THE COOLANT. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 131,000.

THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V435000 (SUSPENSION); HOWEVER, THE DEALER DID NOT MENTION THIS TO THE CONTACT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 158,060.
STARTED THE FORD AND THE BACKUP CAMERA WAS NOT FUNCTIONING. ALSO NOTICED THE 'SYNC' SCREEN WAS BLANK, CLIMATE CONTROLS WERE NOT VISIBLE (FUNCTIONING) AS WELL AS THE RADIO SYSTEM WAS NOT FUNCTIONING. WENT OUT AND STARTED THE SUV IN MY DRIVEWAY, EVERYTHING WAS CORRECT WHEN I RETURNED HOME THE NIGHT BEFORE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD EXPLORER. WHILE PULLING OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY IN REVERSE, "POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT" APPEARED ON THE MESSAGE CENTER AND THE VEHICLE LOST POWER STEERING ABILITY. THE CONTACT DROVE THE VEHICLE TO ROUSH FORD (5575 KEIM CIR, COLUMBUS, OH 43228) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000.
POWER STEERING HAS PREVIOUSLY BEEN RECALLED, SOFTWARE WAS UPDATED BUT THEN ULTIMATELY POWER STEERING FAILED, FORD SENT OUT SUPPLEMENTAL RECALL AND EXTENDED WARRANTY TO REPAIR STEERING ISSUES YET THAT IS DISREGARDED AFTER 10YRS OR 150,000 MILES WHICHEVER COMES FIRST FOR THE VEHICLE. I, LIKE MANY, EXPERIENCED FAILURE AFTER 150,000 MILES, 156K TO BE EXACT. IT'S PATHETIC THAT FORD WILL NOT BACK THEIR OWN VEHICLES PAST 150,000 MILES. ASIDE FROM THE STEERING FAILURE OUR CURRENT 2011 EXPLORER LOOKS BRAND NEW, IT'S A SHAME THAT FORD TURNS THEIR BACKS TO YOU AND LAYS THE REPAIR COST ON THE CONSUMER KNOWING THAT IT HAS BEEN AN ONGOING ISSUE FOR SOME TIME. I SPOKE WITH FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE TO NO AVAIL, THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING FOR YOU PAST 150,000. SADLY THIS IS MY WIFE'S VEHICLE THAT TRANSPORTS OUR KIDS. FORD KNOWINGLY PUTS CONSUMERS IN DANGER BY NOT HONORING THEIR RECALLS OR EXTENDING THEM FOR THE LIFETIME THAT THE VEHICLE IS IN USE. EVEN AFTER THE FIRST SOFTWARE UPDATE THEY PERFORMED ON THE CAR THE POWER STEERING WOULD NOT TURN ON HERE AND THERE, EVENTUALLY IT STOPPED TURNING ON ENTIRELY. FORD IS NOT BUILT TOUGH LIKE THEY PREACH, THEY ARE BUILT POORLY AND THEIR BACKS ARE TURN TOWARDS THE CONSUMERS WHEN ISSUES ARISE. SUCH A FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE.

CHASTANG FORD (6200 N LOOP E FWY, HOUSTON, TX 77026, (832) 460-5343) WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THE WARRANTY WAS EXPIRED DUE TO MILEAGE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 159,754.
WE HAD JUST GOT TO CHURCH'S AND AFTER WE WERE DONE AND WALKED TO THE PARKING LOT WHERE OUR VEHICLE WAS PARKED THE STEERING POWER ASSISTANCE FAULT (IN SPANISH) WARNING POP UP AND THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME SUPER STIFF/HARD TO MOVED MY HUSBAND TRIED TO TURN THE VEHICLE ON AND OFF SEVERAL TIMES BUT NOTHING WE HAD TO TOW OUR VEHICLE HOME AND NOW IT'S USELESS. THIS WARNING MESSAGE POPS UP EVERY NOW AND THEN AND BY JUST TURNING THE CAR OFF/ON A COUPLE OF TIMES IT GOES AWAY BUT THIS TIME IT DIDN'T. PLEASE FIX THIS
DRIVING 25 TO 30 MPH WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME DIFFICULT TO TURN,.CALL DEALER FORD AL PIEMONTE AND MAKE AND APPOINTMENT BUT THEY SAY IS NOT A RECALL ,THEY DIDN'T REPAIRED AS YET.( WHAT CAN I DO?) IN MELROSE PARK ILLINOIS. I TOOK THIS TRUCK FOR A RECALL IN 2017 FOR THE SAME PROBLEM AND AT THAT TIME THEY FIX IT NOT THIS TME.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 191,000. *DT CONSUMER STATED NO RECALL UNDER HER VIN#. ADVISED TO MAKE A REPORT TO GET FORD TO PAY DUE TO MALFUNCTION OF A POWER STEERING. VEHICLE IS SITTING IN DRIVEWAY.*JB

CAR WITH SWERVING LINES BEHIND SHOWS ON DASHBOARD. I SAW RECALL NOTICE 19S17 FOR SUSPENSION ISSUE. THIS SEEMS TO BE WHAT I AM EXPERIENCING BUT MY VIN# ISN'T LISTED. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS, AFRAID TO DRIVE VEHICLE.
My rear view camera was replaced in August 2019 as it stopped working. It was an expensive costing $1000 to repair. It just stopped working again. Car has 100500 miles and this is excessive for what I consider a safety feature in a car this large. I was just told by Ford the backlog for a new camera nationwide is greater than 240 units and some customers have waited over 6 months. I searched online and found many complains on model years 2011 forward due to a bad design flaw that allows moisture in a wiring harness causing corrosion / failure. In my opinion, Ford needs to step up to root cause and provide options other than a complete replacement that only temporarily solves the issue

WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY AT ABOUT 80 MPH THE GAUGE CLUSTER SCREENS SHOWED A 'POWER STEERING FAULT' AND A 'TRACTION CONTROL FAILURE' ERROR AND IT CAUSED THE STEERING WHEEL TO STIFFEN UP MOVING ONLY ABOUT LESS THAN AN INCH, WE PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY AND SHUT OFF THE CAR AND THEN WE TURNED THE CAR BACK ON AND IT STARTED WORKING JUST FINE UNTIL THE SAME EXACT SCENARIO OCCURRED FOR THE SECOND TIME. A FEW DAYS BEFORE THE POWER STEERING ERROR AND TRACTION CONTROL ERROR POPPED UP ON THE GAUGE CLUSTER AT A RED LIGHT, THE STEERING WAS VERY STIFF AND ALLOWED FOR LIMITED MOVEMENT. THE POWER STEERING AND TRACTION CONTROL ERROR OCCURRED TWICE AT STOPLIGHT AND THEY BOTH WENT AWAY BY TURNING ON AND OFF THE CAR. ALL OF THIS HAPPENED AFTER WE SENT THE CAR TO A MECHANIC TO GET THE POWER STEERING MODULE CHECKED AND REPLACED AFTER THE CAR LEFT US STRANDED AS THE POWER STEERING HAD PREVIOUSLY FAILED ENTIRELY ON US. THERE WAS A RECALL 14E-001/13S14, THEY RESET MY COMPUTER DID NOT REPLACE THE PART WHICH FINALLY FAILED WHEN I WAS DRIVING MAKING STEERING EXTREMELY DIFFICULT HAD I NOT BEEN FAMILIAR WITH MANUAL STEERING IT COULD HAVE CAUSED A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT. IN ORDER TO FIX THE PROBLEM I HAD TO REPLACE THE PART THAT WAS PART OF THE PROBLEM AND THE RESET ON COMPUTER WHICH WAS THE ONLY THING DONE. THIS IS A DANGEROUS PRACTICE OF QUICK FIX TO OVERRIDE THE SYSTEM TO PROTECT A BOTTOM LINE NOT THE BUYERS OF FORD VEHICLES. HAD THEY REPLACED THE PART INSTEAD OF RESETTING MY COMPUTER THIS WOULD NEVER OF HAPPENED.

FIVE DAYS LATER VEHICLE STALLED AT LOCAL MOTEL DUE TO DECREASED POWER, ROCKING MOTION OF CAR AND LUCKILY WE WERE ABLE TO SLOWLY TURN INTO LOCAL HOTEL TO CUT OFF ENGINE AND GET TO SAFETY. AFTER 2 HOURS OF LETTING VEHICLE SET AND COOL DOWN, LOCAL MECHANIC, CHECKED AND SAID WE HAD ENOUGH OIL IN VEHICLE AND NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED. WAS ABLE TO DRIVE VEHICLE HOME, WITH NO SENSORS ON DASHBOARD ALERTING US TO ANY FURTHER PROBLEMS. THREE DAYS LATER, WITH NO VISIBLE SENSORS FLASHING, CAR BEGAN TO EXHIBIT ROCKING MOTION NOT SPUTTERING MOTION AS I BEGAN TO PULL OUT IN FOUR-WAY INTERSECTION, AND APPROACHING TRAFFIC HEADING MY WAY. THEN SUDDENLY, CAR REGAINED POWER AND WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE TO PROPER LANE AS IF NOTHING WAS WRONG. AFTER TRAVELING ANOTHER 1.6 MILES, CAR JUST STARTING LOSING POWER, CHECK ENGINE, LOW OIL PRESSURE LIGHT, TEMPERATURE LIGHT WARNING ALL APPEARED SUDDENLY. I WAS ABLE TO DRIFT IN MIDDLE LANE IN FRONT OF DEALERSHIP WHERE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED. I IMMEDIATEDLY TURNED VEHICLE OFF AND WALKED TO DEALERSHIP TO GET HELP IN MOVING VEHICLE OFF THE ROAD. AFTER 3DAYS OF WAITING, DUNCAH DEALERSHIP IN CHRISTIANSBURG, VA, NOTIFED US THAT HEAD GASGET WAS CRACKED AND OVER 7,000 REPAIR BILL WAS NEEDED TO FIX ENGINE REPAIR. AS NOTED BEFORE NO MAJOR PROBLEMS HAS EVER BEEN REPAIRED OR REPLACED REGARDING THIS VEHICLE.
