FAILURE OF BOTH CAM PHASERS RESULTING IN ENGINE PROBLEMS AND DECREASED GAS MILEAGE ALONG WITH EMISSION FAILURE. *TR
HELLO I OWN A 2004 F150 I WAS DRIVING AND MY DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW SLID DOWN FOR NO REASON I RESEARCHED THE PROBLEM AND FOUND THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM AMONG 2004 F150 TRUCKS THE WINDOW REGULATOR HAS A PLASTIC PART THAT FAILS I WAS LUCKY THAT IT WAS A CLEAR DAY IF I HAD BEEN DRIVING IN SNOW OR OTHER HEAVY INCLEMENT WEATHER I WOULD HAVE BEEN IN TROUBLE IS THIS AGENCY INVESTIGATION THIS ISSUE? I OWN A 2004 FORD F150 WITH 5.4L V8 ENGINE. MILEAGE IS 104000. HAD SPARK PLUGS CHANGED AND ALL 8 SPARK PLUGS BROKE OFF RESULTING IN A VERY HIGH COST TO ME. THERE ARE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS OF THIS ON THE INTERNET. I BELIEVE THIS IS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT AND COST IS BEING PAST ON TO CONSUMER. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW FELL DOWN INTO THE DOOR PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE HE WAS INFORMED THE WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR AND THE VEHICLE WAS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 57,500. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
I HAVE HAD 3 WINDOW REGULATOR FAILURES IN LESS THAN A YEAR. MY LOCAL FORD DEALER CLAIMS THAT IT SEEMS LIKE BAD LUCK. IN ONE CASE, I WAS DRIVING DOWN A HIGHWAY AND THE WINDOW JUST DROPPED INTO THE DOOR. IN A 4 DOOR TRUCK, BOTH FRONT WINDOWS HAVE DROPPED AND THE REGULATORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND THE PASSENGER REAR WINDOW ALSO FELL.
NO SIGNIFICANT EVENTS LEAD UP TO.... 3 OUT OF 4 WINDOWS ON MY 2004 FORD F150 FX4 HAD TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE OUT OF THE BLUE THEY COME CRASHING DOWN. I HAVE SPENT ABOUT 700 DOLLARS SO FAR ON THIS DEFECT AND HAVE TO GO IN TOMORROW TO GET MY PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW FIXED WHICH WILL PUT ME OVER 1000. FORD NEEDS TO RECALL THESE WINDOW REGULATORS AND I SHOULD GET EVERY PENNY I HAVE SPENT ON THESE PATHETIC DEVICES BACK. COME ON FORD, REALLY? I FEEL LIKE I AND EVERYBODY ELSE IN THIS SAME SITUATION HAVE BEEN TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF FOR FORD TO MAKE AN EXTRA BUCK. I CAME OUTSIDE TO FIND THAT MY PASSENGER SINE WINDOW WAS DOWN. I WENT TO TRY TO ROLL IT UP AND ALL I HEARD WAS THE WINDOW MOTOR. AFTER FURTHER INSPECTION, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT A PLASTIC PIECE THAT HOLD THE WINDOW REGULATOR CABLE HAD BROKE. I AM LUCKY THAT NOBODY HAD STOLEN MY BELONGINGS. AND WHAT IF IT HAD HAPPENED WHEN DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND THE WINDOW WERE TO FALL INTO THE DOOR AND CAUSED AN ACCIDENT? AFTER RESEARCHING THIS PROBLEM THERE HAVE BEEN THOUSANDS OF COMPLAINTS. *TR
I HAVE A 2004 FORD F-150 TRUCK, AND WHILE MY WIFE WAS DRIVING TO WORK ONE MORNING WHAM THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW CAME CRASHING DOWN AND SHE NEARLY WRECKED DUE TO THE SCARE. MY COMPLAINT IS THE REGULATOR HAS GONE OUT. I LOOKED INTO HAVING THIS REPAIRED AND WAS SHOCKED AS TO HOW MANY COMPLAINTS THEIR WERE ON THIS EXACT SAME ISSUE. I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE THE REGULATOR AND AM WONDERING WHAT IT WILL TAKE BEFORE FORD OR NHTSA DOES SOMETHING "RECALL" . I PRAY THAT IT DOES NOT TAKE THE LOSS OF LIFE TO HAVE THIS PIECE OF PLASTIC REPLACED. *TR
I WAS DRIVING MY 2004 F150 ON THE HIGHWAY. AT SPEED THERE WAS A VERY LOUD POP AND THE WINDOW FELL INTO THE DOOR (I FOUND OUT LATER). I HAD THOUGHT IT SHATTERED. STARTLED, I SWERVED. IT COULD HAVE BEEN BAD. LATER I FOUND OUT IT WAS THE WINDOW REGULATOR, COME TO FIND OUT THIS IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST FAILURE ITEMS ON THE 2004. F150. THIS IS A HAZARD AND FORD KNOWS ABOUT IT. THEY SHOULD OWN UP AND FIX IT. *TR
POWER WINDOW REGULATOR FAILURE ON BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE WINDOWS OF 2004 FORD 150 SUPER CAB. A TOTAL OF 3 FAILURES HAVE OCCURRED IN THE PAST 2 YEARS (2 DRIVER SIDE AND 1 PASSENGER SIDE). THE TWO MOST RECENT FAILURES OCCURRED THIS MONTH WITHIN 3 DAYS OF EACH OTHER. THE WINDOW FAILS WITHOUT WARNING AND FALLS DOWN INSIDE OF THE DOOR. THIS CAN BE A PROBLEM IF THE FAILURE OCCURS DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER. IN ORDER TO MAKE THE WINDOW STAY UP, THE DOOR HAS TO BE DISASSEMBLED AND SOMETHING PLACED IN THE DOOR TO HOLD THE WINDOW UP UNTIL PARTS CAN BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED. I HAVE USED A 2 X 4 AND ZIP TIES AS A TEMPORARY FIX TO HOLD THE WINDOW UP INSIDE THE DOOR UNTIL PARTS ARE OBTAINED AND THE REPAIRS MADE. MY TEMPORARY FIX KEEPS THE WINDOW UP, BUT THERE IS NO WAY TO LET THE WINDOW DOWN IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY. BUT HAVING THE WINDOW STUCK IN THE UP POSITION IS MUCH BETTER THAN LEAVING THE WINDOW DOWN AND RISKING DAMAGE TO THE INTERIOR FROM WEATHER OR THEFT. *TR
2004 FORD F-150 CREW CAB WINDOWS FAILED. THE FIRST HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING ON AN INTERSTATE AT 70MPH; THERE WAS A LOUD NOISE LIKE A ROCK HIT THE PASSENGER DOOR, AND THE WINDOW FELL INTO THE DOOR FRAME. COST TO REPAIR: $385. TODAY THE DRIVER SIDE WINDOW FAILED IN THE SAME MANNER. I UNDERSTAND FROM THE INTERNET, THAT THIS IS A FAILURE OF THE ELECTRIC WINDOW REGULATOR. APPARENTLY, FORD REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE THIS AS A DEFECT. *TR
3 POWER WINDOW REGULATORS REPLACED ON MY F-150 SUPER CAB FORD LARIAT TRUCK...DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD ON 3 SEPARATE OCCASIONS AND WHAM THE WINDOW DROPS DOWN IN THE DOOR. HAPPENED IN 2007, 2009, 2010. $350 EACH TIME TO GET FIXED. I'M SURE A MAJOR THOROUGH INVESTIGATION REGARDING THE WINDOW REGULATOR ISSUE WITH FORD WOULD TURN UP 1000'S UPON 1000'S OF INCIDENTS AND REPLACEMENTS. THIS IS AN OBVIOUS PROBLEM. WHILE I BLAME FORD CORP, I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE DEALER SAYING IT'S NOT A FORD PROBLEM AND THAT FORD HAS TO USE THE COMPANY IN MEXICO THEY USE TO REPLACE THE WINDOWS PER THE DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION. *TR
THE WINDOW/MOTOR REGULATOR ASSEMBLY FAILED IN BOTH MY DRIVERS DOOR AND REAR PASSENGER DOOR WITHIN MONTHS OF EACH OTHER. BOTH TIMES I WAS ON HIGHWAYS OR TOLL ROADS WHEN THE WINDOWS FELL IN THE DOOR AND I WAS UNABLE TO PULL OFF TO REMEDY THE SITUATION. AFTER SEARCHING FOR REMEDIES ONLINE I HAVE FOUND THAT THIS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH FORD TRUCKS. WHY HASN'T FORD OFFERED A RECALL FOR THIS FAILURE. WHEN MY DRIVERS DOOR WINDOW FELL I WAS DOING 50 MPH ON A TOLL ROAD IN THE MIDDLE OF A HEAVY RAIN STORM. I CONSIDER THIS A SAFETY HAZARD. *TR
I HAVE LOST 4 WINDOW REGULATORS OVER THE SPACE OF 2 YEARS. I HAVE REPLACED THE DRIVERS FRONT , PASS FRONT TWICE PASS REAR ONCE. I CURRENTLY HAVE A BROOM HANDLE HOLDING UP DRIVERS REAR. THIS HAS GOTTEN VERY OLD AND TIRESOME. I WORKED FOR FORD DEALERSHIPS FOR 27 YEARS AND I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE APPARENT DISREGARD OF QUALITY IS JOB 1. *TR
POWER WINDOW REGULATOR FAILURE. PLASTIC PART CRACKS THAT IS ATTACHED TO THE REGULATOR MOTOR WHICH GUIDES THE WINDOW CABLE. RESULTING IN THE WINDOW DROPPING DOWN INSIDE THE DOOR PANEL. FAILURE OCCURS APPROXIMATELY EVERY 6-12 MONTHS. FAILURE HAS OCCURRED IN ALL FOUR DOORS. NEW REPLACEMENT WINDOW REGULATOR IS REQUIRED TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM. *TR
THE DRIVERS SIDE POWER WINDOW CAME DOWN ON ITS OWN AND WOULD NOT GO BACK UP, I TOOK OFF THE TRIM COVERS AND WAS BRAIDED WIRE ALL OVER THE PLACE, I ORDERED A REGULATOR TO INSTALL BUT AFTER ANOTHER 2 DAYS THE REAR PASSENGER WIDOW DID THEY EXACT SAME THING.......I AM STILL WAITING ON PART FOR THE FIRST WINDOW BUT SEEMS INSANE THAT THE SAME THING WOULD HAPPEN ON ANOTHER WINDOW JUST 2 DAYS APART THIS IS DEFINITELY A DESIGN FLAW AND SHOULD BE ADDRESSED BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT OR SOMETHING GETS STOLEN BECAUSE OF IT. *TR

3RD POWER WINDOW REGULATOR FAILURE IN 1.5 YRS ON 2004 FORD F-150 SUPERCREW TRUCK. WHEN REGULATOR FAILS, IT SOUNDS AS THOUGH SOMEONE STRUCK OR SHOT THE WINDOW CAUSING ME TO JUMP AND TAKE MY EYES OFF THE ROAD TO SEE WHAT HAD HAPPENED AND IF ANY PASSENGERS WERE INJURED ALMOST CAUSING ME TO COLLIDE WITH AN ON-COMING VEHICLE. I HAVE HAD TWO OF THE REGULATORS REPLACED BY A LOCAL PAINT AND BODY SHOP WHERE I WAS TOLD THAT IT IS A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH THE REGULATORS. MY COST TO DATE HAS BEEN IN EXCESS OF $350 AND I NOW HAVE TWO SUCTION CUPS HOLDING ONE WINDOW UP UNTIL I CAN AFFORD TO HAVE IT REPAIRED. *TR
2004 FORD F-150 POWER WINDOW REGULATOR BROKE ON THE PASSENGER'S SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE DRIVER SIDE BROKE LAST YEAR. WHEN THE REGULATOR BREAKS, A LOUD POP OCCURS. THIS IS REALLY A SAFETY HAZZARD. *TR

FAULTY WINDOW REGULATOR COMPONENTS. I REPLACED DRIVER SIDE, REAR PASSENGER (2004 F150 LARIAT CREW CAB) WINDOW REGULATOR. SEEMED TO BE AN OLD PART THAT HAD TO BE REPLACED, UNTIL A FEW MONTHS, THE PASSENGER SIDE, REAR PASSENGER WINDOW REGULATOR ALSO FAILED. NOW IT IS A CONCERN. THE REASON FOR THE COMPLAINT NOW IS BECAUSE MY 3RD REGULATOR BUSTED, THIS TIME IT WAS THE FRONT PASSENGER WINDOW REGULATOR THAT FAILED. NOW THIS REALLY PRESENTS A PROBLEM AND THIS NEEDS TO BE RECALLED. THE ONLY ONE LEFT TO FAIL IS MY DRIVER DOOR. THE MASTER SWITCH WAS ALSO REPLACED AT THE SAME TIME THE 1ST INCIDENT OCCURRED, SO THAT CAN BE RULED OUT. IN ALL INSTANCES, I HEARD A SOUND COMING FROM THE WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR, FOLLOWING WITH A SUDDEN DROP OF THE WINDOWS. CALL ME LUCKY BUT NONE OF THE WINDOWS SHATTERED FROM THE FALL INTO THE DOOR COMPARTMENT. LOOKS LIKE FOR D BEEFED UP ON THE PULLEY ASSEMBLY OF THE NEW, REPLACEMENT WINDOW REGULATORS. SEEKING REPAIRS OF NEW INCIDENTS AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR REPLACED PARTS. *TR
MY F150 HAS HAD THREE OF THE FOUR POWER WINDOW MECHANISMS FAIL. THE DRIVERS WINDOW FAILED IN 9/2008 AT 53000 WHILE BEING USED AT AN ATM. THE REAR PASSENGER WINDOW FAILED IN APRIL 2010 AT 75,000 MILES. THIS WINDOW WENT DOWN ON ITS OWN SUDDENLY WITHOUT PRESSING THE SWITCH. THIS FAILURE OCCURRED WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THE FRONT PASSENGER WINDOW FAILED IN SEPT 2010 AT 85000 MILES. THIS WINDOW WENT DOWN SUDDENLY ON ITS OWN WITHOUT PRESSING THE SWITCH. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WHILE DRIVING ON AN ON-RAMP AND MERGING INTO TRAFFIC. THE SUDDEN AND UNEXPECTED NATURE OF THE LAST 2 FAILURES ARE A SAFETY HAZARD DUE TO THE DISTRACTION CAUSED WHILE DRIVING. THE FAILURES OCCURRED BEYOND THE WARRANTY PERIOD, SO FORD WOULD NOT PROVIDE ANY SUPPORT. I ORDERED NEW WINDOW REGULATORS AND REPLACED THEM MYSELF. THE PARTS FROM THE THIRD FAILURE ARE AVAILABLE. *TR
WHILE I WAS DRIVING THE TRUCK ON LOCAL ROADS, THE PASSENGER SIDE ELECTRICALLY CONTROLLED WINDOW WHICH WAS FULLY UP SUDDENLY SLOWLY RECEDED DOWN INTO THE DOOR OF THE TRUCK AND NOW CANNOT BE RAISED BACK UP. THE WINDOW IS NOT BROKEN, AND THE NOISE WHEN I PRESS THE WINDOW CONTROL SEEMS TO INDICATE THAT THE MOTOR IS STILL WORKING PROPERLY. I HAVE CALLED SEVERAL REPAIR SHOPS (AND THE DEALER), AND THE CONCLUSION SO FAR (HEARING THE DESCRIPTION BUT WITHOUT INSPECTING THE VEHICLE) IS THAT THE WINDOW REGULATOR NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 FORD F150 . WHILE DRIVING AT 5 MPH THE DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT WINDOW MADE A LOUD POP NOISE AND FELL DOWN. THIS HAS BEEN THE THIRD TIME THAT THE CONTACT HAS REPLACED WINDOWS ON THE VEHICLE DUE TO THEM FALLING . THE DEALER HAD NOT BEEN CONTACTED AND THE WINDOW HAD NOT BEEN REPLACED AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 73000.
2004 FORD F150 SUPERCREW DRIVERS WINDOW REGULATOR BROKEN. *TR
2004 FORD F150 WINDOW REGULATOR FAILURES...MULTIPLE TIMES..SEVERAL MONTHS APART. THE WINDOW COMES CRASHING DOWN AND IS TOTALLY OPEN. I HAVE DOGS THAT RIDE WITH ME. THIS HAS GOT TO BE FIXED BY FORD. *TR
WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEED THE REAR PASSENGER WINDOW DROPED, AT THAT TIME MY GRANDSON (3) TAUGHT IT WOULD BE OK TO THROW HIS SOCKER BALL OUT. THE BALL BOUNCED OF A CAR BEHIND ME BUT NO DAMAGE BUT SCARED THE DRIVER ALMOST CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM, WINDOWS SHOULD NOT DROP LIKE THAT GOOD THING WEATHER WAS GOOD, I CAN ONLY IMAGINE IF IT HAD BEEN RAINING THE OTHER CAR WOULD HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO STOP CAUSING A MAJOR ACCIDENT AND I WOULD BE GETTING SEUD. THIS ISSUE NEEDS FIXING BY FORD BECAUSE IS NOT AN ISOLETED PROBLEM THOUSANDS ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. WINDOW NOT FIXED YET STILL RESEARCHING FOR PARTS. *TR
I HAVE A 2004 FORD F150 THAT DIES, STALLS, OR SURGES AT STOP LIGHT OR AT LOW SPEED. IT IS AN INTERMITTENT PROBLEM THAT DOESN'T SEND ANY ERROR CODES TO THE COMPUTER. THE PICKUP WILL JUST DIE DURING WHILE TURNING OR STOPPING. I HAVE BEEN TO THE DEALER AND THE PROBLEM IS STILL NOT CORRECTED. I HAVE HAD NUMEROUS CLOSE CALLS DUE TO DYING DURING TURNING. *TR
WHILE RAISING THE FRONT PASSENGER WINDOW OF MY 2004 FORD F150 TRUCK, I HEARD A LOUD BANG AND THE WINDOW DROPPED. THE WINDOW COULD NOT BE RAISED. FROM THE STAND POINT OF SAFETY, THE WIND NOISE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS CREATES A DISTRACTION AND CONTRIBUTES TO DRIVER FATIGUE. IF THE FAILURE OCCURS IN HEAVY TRAFFIC AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS, THERE IS THE REAL POTENTIAL FOR THE DRIVER TO BE STARTLED TO THE POINT OF FAILURE TO RETAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. FROM A PHYSICAL SECURITY STAND POINT, PASSENGERS, PETS AND PERSONAL PROPERTY ARE ALL AT RISK IF THE VEHICLE CANNOT BE SECURED. THE ONLY PREVIOUS PROBLEM WITH POWER WINDOWS IN THIS VEHICLE WERE WITH THE REAR WINDOW. *TR
I HAVE JUST HAD MY SECOND INCIDENCE OF A WINDOW REGULATOR SNAPPING IN MY 2004 FORD F150. I WAS JUST ROLLING MY ELECTRIC WINDOW UP AS I WAS GETTING MY TRUCK WASHED TODAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2010, AND A HORRENDOUS POP WAS HEARD BY ME AND BYSTANDERS OUTSIDE THE VEHICLE, AND THE WINDOW THEN SLID DOWN INTO THE DOOR PANEL. I HAVE BARELY OVER 70,000 MILES ON THE TRUCK NOW, AND THE FIRST INCIDENCE OCCURRED AT 64,273. THE FIRST FIX COST ME $337.66 FOR THE REAR DRIVER SIDE, AND TODAY'S FAILURE HAPPENED TO THE PASSENGER REAR. THAT'S TWICE IN 6000 MILES. I AM FORCED TO DRIVE MY OTHER VEHICLE TO AS I MY VEHICLE IS NOW UNSECURE SINCE THE WINDOW CANNOT BE CLOSED. THE FIRST FAILURE WAS DUE TO THE CABLE SNAPPING, AND THE SAME SCARY SOUND HAPPENED TODAY SO I CAN ONLY CONCLUDE THAT THE SAME PART FAILURE OCCURRED TODAY. FORD WILL NOT FIX THE VEHICLE NOR THE ISSUE WHICH HAS CAUSED NUMEROUS F150 OWNERS TO LOSE OUT ON WAGES LOST TO HOURS MISSED AT WORK AND MONEY PAID TO HAVE THEIR EXPENSIVE VEHICLE BACK IN OPERATING ORDER. FORD HAS OFFERED TO LET ME BUY A NEW PART, AT MY EXPENSE, AND PAY THEM OVER $200 LABOR TO REPLACE. *TR

FOUND OUT ON THE INTERNET THAT IT IS A RECURRING PROBLEM WITH THE FORD PICKUP WINDOW REGULATOR MECHANISM THAT IS DEFECTIVE. TOOK VEHICLE INTO A WINDOW REPAIR SHOP AND HE DIAGNOSED IT NEEDING A NEW WINDOW REGULATOR REPLACEMENT INSTALLED. HE PATCHED US UP TO GET US HOME FOR NOW, ITS A HOLIDAY WEEKEND AND SO NO POSSIBILITY OF GETTING THE PART FAST AND WE ARE AWAY FROM HOME VISITING RELATIVES. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WINDOWS REGULATORS HAD BECOME INOPERABLE AND THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO CLOSE THE WINDOWS. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED SEVERAL TIMES FOR THE SAME FAILURE AND THE FAILURE RECURRED ON ALL FOUR WINDOWS. THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND ADVISED THAT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS THE WINDOW REGULATOR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 49,000.

WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY, I HEAR A LOUD BANG FROM MY DRIVERS DOOR. I THOUGHT SOMEBODY HAD HIT ME OR THREW SOMETHING AT MY VEHICLE. I LOST FOCUS OF MY DRIVING TO SEE WHAT WAS HAPPENING AROUND ME. THEN MY DRIVERS WINDOW DROPPED AND THIS SCARED ME AND CAUSE ME TO SWERVE. I HAVE RESEARCHED AND FOUND THAT THE WINDOW REGULATORS ON MY VEHICLE ARE FAILING ALL THE TIME. THIS HAPPENED A MONTH AGO AND I NOW HAVE THREE OF MY FOUR WINDOWS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. I HAVE HAD TO TAKE MY DOORS APART AND PERMANENTLY FIX MY WINDOWS IN THE UP POSITION AS I CANNOT AFFORD THE REPLACEMENT WINDOW REGULATORS. I OWN A 2004 FORD F150 AND HAVE HAD 3 WINDOW REGULATOR FAILURES, 2 WHILE DRIVING. THE DANGEROUS ONE WAS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE AT NIGHT DURING A RAIN STORM. FORD DEALER STATES HE REPLACES 1-2 A WEEK BUT IS NOT YET A RECALL. HE SAYS IT WONT GET A RECALL UNTIL SOMEONE DIES.
