.Driving on the interstate cruise control set on 75 all of a sudden, lose power speedometer to 0. Transmission, jerks have to pull over. Get home check the code. Said it was the transmission lead frame, oss sensor. Im lucky I didn't wreck. It's a safety concern, should be a recall.
Driving 70 mph on highway. Transmission suddenly downshifted from 6th to 5th. Cruise control turned off. Speedometer went to 0 mph. Airbag warning light came on. Wrench indicator flashed. From this point on, transmission would only use gears 3,4,5. Speedometer continued to read 0. Cruise control remained inoperative and Airbag warning light remained on. Wrench indicator turned off after a few minutes. Was able to limp home, but truck had difficulty pulling out from stoplights and stop signs due to not being able to shift below 3rd gear. After shutting off ignition and restarting. Operation returned to normal.
Driving down the road in 5 th gear and truck by its self shifted into 2 end gear it has done this 6 times now it is very unsafe to drive but it's my only vehicle I think it's the front lead frame assembly in the transmission this will b the 3 erd time to replace this part
Took vehicle to dealership to have recall 19V075 completed. Dealership informed me that Ford motor company will only replace the Multi- Frame part in the transmission that contains the OSS sensor if the vehicle is not older than 10yrs and 150,000 miles. The service advisor at the dealership informed me that if they perform the PCM program update without the mechanical repair being done the intermittent downshift problem would get worse. The truck has downshifted while going down the highway at approximately 60mph and the abrupt downshift nearly caused me to loose control of the vehicle.
Vehicle: 2013 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Cab Component: Rear Defroster / Rear Window Assembly Summary of Issue: Rear window glass shattered while driving when rear defroster was in use. Detail of Incident: On November 2, 2025, at approximately 5:00 AM, I was driving my 2013 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Cab at approximately 65 mph on the highway near Mogadore, Ohio. The vehicle had been operating for around 45 minutes without issue. The outside temperature was about 43°F. I had the rear window defroster and side mirror defrosters activated. Without any impact, warning lights, prior cracks, or outside interference, the rear glass pane directly behind the driver’s seat shattered suddenly and completely while I was driving. There were no vehicles near me, and I inspected the glass immediately afterward and found no evidence of anything striking the vehicle. The failure occurred instantaneously and with a loud sound, which created a risk of driver distraction and could have resulted in loss of control or injury from breaking glass. After researching, I found that this issue is widely reported by other owners of Ford F-150 models online, particularly involving the rear defroster causing excessive localized heating and thermal stress, which leads to spontaneous glass failure. Many owners report similar conditions: cold ambient temperature + rear defroster activated. The glass was replaced at my own expense, approximately $800. Receipts and photographs are available upon request. The issue was not covered by recall, warranty, or insurance. The problem has not been addressed by Ford despite multiple consumer reports. Safety Concern: This defect presents a serious safety hazard because the sudden shattering is loud, distracting, and may send glass fragments into the cabin. It could easily lead to loss of vehicle control or injury to occupants. The failure occurred under normal and intended use of the rear defroster system. Request: I am submitting this report to request that NHTS
The electronic steering assist went out
Transmission shifted into 1st gear while doing 65 mph on the freeway. The rear tires locked up as a result and the truck spun out in front of on coming traffic putting myself and my 6 month old nephew in a life threatening situation. This is not okay. I was told the most recent recall done on this vehicle was done to not allow this to happen. This issue has been an on going problem with these trucks and Ford has still yet to rectify the problem. This can cause serious bodily harm to myself and others around these vehicles. I feel Ford needs to do something about this issue.
Put the truck in reverse [from park] and when I braked the pedal went to the floor and took many seconds to stop the vehicle. Checked the brake fluid, very low, filled it, pumped the brakes until it was no longer to the floor, checked the fluid again and filled it again. Parked it then tested it 20 minutes later, brakes were to the floor. Took it to mechanic who added brake fluid and looked everywhere underneath for leaking, found no brake fluid leak anywhere. Checked online for recall on defective braking system and found this. Reference MFR Campaign Number: 16S24, Defect Summary: Loss of brake fluid from the primary reservoir results in a complete loss of front brake function, increasing the risk of a crash. That's the problem. I have an appointment 11/3/25 with Russ Milne Ford who says they will replace the brake booster, fill the brake fluid & replace the master cylinder, if necessary, as per usual with this recall.
I was sold a 2013 Ford F150 XLT with a serious documented safety issue. The issue is a Transmission Molded Lead Frame failure. This specific component defect is classified as a known, safety-critical issue by Ford (Customer Satisfaction Program 19N01). The car dealership that sold me this vehicle is Township Auto Line 442 Delsea Drive Sewell, NJ 08080. I was able to get the truck repaired, however the business that sold me the Truck is unwilling to reimburse me for the repairs for the safety-critical Molded Lead Frame repair. This is a matter of selling a vehicle with a known, active safety hazard. I can provide the Ford repair invoice upon request to verify the diagnosis and repair cost.
Vehicle component that appears to be failing is the transmission, car can run and be diagnosed and inspected. It can put me or people around me at risk, vehicle was running fine and then it downshifted to 1st gear making the rear wheels brake at a high speed, after that truck won’t go up from first gear. Before going into a dealer and having this checked I made a research about this similiar problem on similar make and model of my truck, and it seems there has been a recall regarding the lead frame on the transmission of this Ford F150 models. I did get a check engine light.

There have been multiple problems with the leadframe in the 6r80 model of transmission. I have had my speedometer go out and cause the truck to shift into 1st gear causing my wheels to lock up while im driving 60mph down the highway. Ford states on the campaign to be eligible it must be under 10 years or 150000 miles whichever comes first of the customer satisfaction program but i believe it should be considered a saftey recall. The vehicles should be eligible for this program well beyond 10 years for safety reasons. In the winter it will be even more hazardous. Myself or someone else could die due to the wheels locking up. I have researched and found many others with the same issue and this should be escalated to a proper safety recall rather than a csp.

Driving on Interstate Highway. Entered a tunnel at 65 MPH. Near the end of the tunnel traffic started to slow down. I applied the brakes and the engine started to accelerate. I had full pressure on the brake pedal but the vehicle kept accelerating. There was a loud fan noise. Fortunately the vehicles ahead started to accelerate up to the speed limit - and beyond. I took my foot off the brake and turned on cruise control. The fan sound stopped and the truck maintained cruise control setting. I had heard the fan speed up twice before but I was parking each time1 and turned off the engine within seconds of hearing the fan motor speed up. I returned to my home and heard the fan motor speed up once more. I took the vehicle in to my local Service Station. They were able to recreate the problem. "Bad thermostat causing engine cooling fan to come, increasing idle speed. Replaced thermostat"
The contact owns a 2013 Ford F-150. The contact stated that upon shifting to Reverse(R), the vehicle hesitated to respond, made an abnormal loud sound as if it had been rear-ended, and the vehicle shifted into gear violently, causing the driver to sustain neck pain. Additionally, the contact stated that while driving and depressing the brake pedal to come to a stop, the vehicle unintendedly downshifted, and upon depressing the accelerator pedal to resume driving, the vehicle delayed responding. The contact stated that the failure had been recurring intermittently. The power train warning light was illuminated intermittently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V075000(Power Train). The dealer diagnosed the vehicle and informed the contact that the transmission lead frame had failed and needed to be replaced prior to the recall repair. The contact declined to pay for the repair. The vehicle was not repaired due to the cost. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 113,000.
The contact owns a 2013 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle briefly jumped and jolted. The vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. The service transmission warning light was illuminated. Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2013 Ford F-150. The contact discovered a mileage discrepancy after the purchase. The vehicle was a private sale. At the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was 96,000. It was later discovered that the mileage on the Title was 189,556.
My truck is making a ticking and whistling noise once it is cranked and running. Ford issued a recall on f150’s for a manifold exhaust leak with the same noises I am hearing. The recall # is 19S32. My truck has the same problem and issue as described in the recall. My year and model truck needs to be covered under the recall.
I have had several incidences of the transmission suddenly downshifting with corresponding loss of some gauges. This is similar to the 2019 recall NHTSA No.19V-075. I had that service done in July 2019 before any symptom surfaced. Now, in 2025 the problem has started again. I'm not sure what the previous service included (i.e. partes replaced) The original recall indicated the transmission molded leadframe however I have no documentation that it was replaced. It appears that only a reprogramming was accomplished.
The contact owns a 2013 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving 20-30 MPH, the transmission unexpectedly downshifted to first gear. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact pulled over to the side of the road and shifted to neutral(N). The contact turned off and restarted the vehicle, and the contact noticed that the speedometer was inoperable. The contact stated that the vehicle was significantly sluggish while driving from a complete stop, and the tachometer failed to exceed 2,000 RPM while driving. The contact activated the hazard lights and was able to drive to the residence. The contact scanned the vehicle with a scanner and retrieved diagnostic trouble codes indicating an output shaft speed sensor failure. The contact became aware that the VIN was included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V075000 (Power Train), and the vehicle was taken to the dealer for the recall repair; however, the dealer informed the contact that the vehicle was not covered and provided an estimate for the repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and advised that the contact to pay for the repair and might be reimbursed at a later date. The failure mileage was approximately 228,000.
The contact owns a 2013 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while attempting to reverse, the rearview camera became inoperable. The contact stated that an image appeared intermittently. The contact stated that occasionally the screen displayed a blank image. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 132,000.
The contact owns a 2013 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving 65 MPH, the transmission unexpectedly downshifted to first gear, causing the wheels to lock up and the vehicle to fishtail into three lanes of traffic. The contact shifted the transmission to neutral (N) and coasted the vehicle off the highway. The contact then shifted the transmission into drive(D) and was able to correct the failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who performed the recall repair under NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V075000 (Power Train); however, the failure recurred while driving at 40 MPH, almost causing a crash. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was 146,807.
Safety Recall 19S07 - (19S19) Ford Motor covered 19S07 but not 19S19. Software update does NOT prevent downshifting into 1st on Highway. The issue is that 19S19 is truly the root cause of issue, and software was a low cost ineffective countermeasure to safety issue. Covered certain 2011–2013 Ford F-150s with 6R80 transmissions for sudden transmission downshift due to output shaft speed (OSS) sensor faults. Included PCM programming and diagnostic checks. NHTSA This vehicle still exhibits down shifting at high speed (very scary), speed sensor malfunction, air bag disengagement while occurring. After software update transmission shifts produce poor gas mileage which violates EPA emissions regulations of mpg of vehicle when purchased.
Rear view mirror camera system. The camera continuously will turn on then go to a blue screen while in reverse. It may show the rear of the truck at times but again turns back to a blue screen while reversing. It is a safety concern while reversing the vehicle.
We took our Ford F150 King Ranch to our local mechanic. The vehicle would shift down into a lower gear when traveling at speed limit. After that, that speedometer stopped working and other gages were inoperable. This happened several times before we contacted out mechanic for diagnostics testing. The trouble code P0722 / 6R80 Transmission high gear engagement from a stop. In February 2019 Ford issued a safety recall stating these vehicles may suddenly downshift to first gear, possibly causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. The information I have obtained directly from the Ford website "Dealers will reprogram the recalled Ford F-150's PCM, free of charge. The repair is currently available". We purchased this vehicle from CarMax in 2021 and were not made aware of this recall. I contacted our local dealership, AutoNation Ford, that we had used for regular maintenance for the first two years after purchase of our vehicle. After diagnostic testing on the vehicle was complete, they advised the safety recall time had "expired". That we will be responsible for the repairs. Does a "safety recall" expire? We were advised the recall expired after 150K miles. We have approximately 164K miles. Can you please advise what our options may be? I do not feel safe driving this vehicle at this point. AutoNation has had our vehicle since 09/11/2025. They are expecting me to pay for the repairs.
Random hard shifting and acceleration issue started after I had the vehicle put in service for recall, never had any issue like it before the recall was completed. My computer shows a P0720 and P0721 error. This makes me feel unsafe to drive the vehicle because of the random acceleration and shifting that occurs without any input from me as the driver. Crown motors of Redding Ca advising that the issue is not recall related and refuses to look at vehicle without doing a 300 dollar diagnostic, I’ve asked them several times if they will look at it for just the recall to make sure they have refused and have said things like “drive it for a 100 miles that should correct it”.
This is related to an OEM Metal failure at the aluminum connection points. My 2013 Ford F-150s, experienced leakage of the high-pressure transmission cooler line. The leakage was due to corrosion and metal fatigue. If it had failed it would have resulted in a rapid fluid loss, transmission overheating, and a complete failure. The failure was related to corrosion & metal Fatigue. The aluminum quick connect portion of the OEM lines on the driver's side began leaking due to corrosion, and vibrations. There have been numerous reports of a broken line causing a rapid and complete loss of transmission fluid. Without sufficient fluid, the transmission failed leading to trucks stopping in heavy traffic. Due to reports of these catastrophic failures, I checked my lines and noted leaks. I proactively had the local Ford dealer perform the repairs. I have the parts in my possession.
The incident occurred while entering a limited access roadway. I was accelerating and merging into the main lane of travel. As I was accelerating, the engine cut off and several warning lights appeared. The Check Engine light came on first, followed by the Check Battery light. As a result of the loss of power, the vehicle behind me almost rear-ended my vehicle. I was able to roll to the side of the highway to the emergency breakdown lane without engine power. I have subsequently had the car inspected by a mechanic. The root cause of the loss of power was related to a cracked fuseblock mounted above the radiator in the middle of the truck. The mechanic indicated that he has seen several of these fuseblocks failing due to cracks. Leading up to the incident, the truck has experienced intermittent issues starting. The engine will crank, but it does not run. After tapping the fuseblock mounted above the radiator, the engine would run.
The contact owns a 2013 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at 65 MPH, the transmission unexpectedly downshifted. No warning lights were illuminated. In addition, the contact stated that the instrument cluster blinked off and on. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. In addition, the contact stated that when the vehicle was purchased in 2023, the contact was informed that an unknown software recall had been performed. The contact was informed that the unknown recall was a software update for the powertrain control module. The contact stated that the failure occurred. The contact later discovered that the recall had not been performed by the dealer where the vehicle was purchased. The contact contacted an alternate dealer who provided mobile service. The unknown recall for the powertrain control module software update was performed. The contact was informed that a second software update was needed. The failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The contact was informed that the repair was not covered under the recall due to mileage limitations. The contact was advised to contact the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 220,000.
Fuse number 75 in power distribution box in engine compartment getting hot and melting not blowing the fuse but swelling and breaking contact therefore cause all lights to flash on the dash or nothing at all. Can be fine when parked but upon the next time you go to start it is when it can happen. No warning. First time happened 8/18/25. Next time was 1/3/26
My truck has been randomly downshifting while driving. I see there is a recall for my year and make of truck for the same problem i am having, but my truck is not coming up for the recall. I am so afraid that if I am on the freeway if this downshifts, it put me in harms way. What can I do? I took it in for repair at a independent repair shop and it is still happening, they di not know about the module on recall.
The contact owns a 2013 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the front driver's side door failed to open from the inside. The contact's brother replaced the driver’s side door handle with the rear driver's side door handle. The vehicle was then taken to a dealer where the vehicle was inspected, and the contact was provided an estimate for the repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was 181,934.
Same transmission issues as 2015-2017 FORD F150 under investigation right now. Has the 6r80 transmission and the same affected sensor. My truck will downshift then not shift correctly again til shut off for a while.
The contact owns a 2013 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at 40 MPH, the odometer failed to function as intended. The speedometer went from 40 to zero and failed to provide the correct speed. In addition, the transmission unexpectedly downshifted. The “WRENCH” warning light was illuminated. The contact pulled over to the side of the road, turned off the vehicle, and pulled the key out of the ignition, opened and closed the door, and restarted the vehicle. The contact stated that the vehicle was reset. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the output speed sensor circuit had no signal and the PCM and valve body lead frame failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired due to the cost. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V075000 (Power Train). The manufacturer was notified of the failure but denied assistance in covering the cost of the repair. The failure mileage was approximately 101,500.
Transmission down shifting and sticking in gear intermittently. Google search shows this: Ford has issued recalls and extended warranty programs for a molded lead frame issue in its automatic transmissions, particularly the 6R80 in F-150s from 2011-2013 and a 2014-only recall (24S37), where a faulty output speed sensor could cause an unintended downshift to first gear. This downshift can lead to the loss of vehicle control and an increased crash risk, although Ford also had a separate recall in 2016 for 2011-2013 F-150s with six-speed transmissions that could suddenly downshift. I called Ford service and was told the program expired and nothing could be done at this time.
Vechicle shuts off during high speeds causing driver to loose control and driver and passengers to be tossed around even while constrained with seat belts
My truck speedometer stopped working while driving 65mph. At the same time, shifting became erratic and unpredictable, causing a very unsafe condition almost causing my truck to lose control. The Check Engine light immediately came on. After diagnostics, the engine code was "P0720 Permanent, Output Shaft Speed Sensor Circuit." This is a known problem with Ford and Ford recall # 19N01, "Transmission molded leadframe extended coverage." When taken to the dealership, they admitted this was the exact problem that needed to be fixed, but the Recall expired in 2023 so it would now cost me over $1800 to fix the leadframe. I am reporting this because these exact issues are happening to a lot of people even after the Recall has expired. This is a defective part that should be covered by Ford. This recall should be extended. I never got any notices or letters from Ford regarding this problem, probably because I am not the original owner of the truck. I have not uploaded an invoice because the repair has not been completed yet, but I am happy to do this at a later time once the repair is completed.
At about [XXX] [XXX], Tuesday, I was N/B on [XXX] , my speed was approximately 60 mph. All of a sudden, my brakes locked up as if I slammed on by brakes. Although a safe distance behind my, vehicles behind me had to swerve out of my way due to the sudden breaking. After pulling over, I checked the undercarriage, thinking I might have hit something, but everything was clear. Not knowing what had just happened I got back onto the highway and when I reached a speed of approximately 65 mph it did it again causing my truck to swerve into the oncoming lane of traffic. I still didn't know what was going on because there were no physical signs indicating such and no warning lights illuminated. After pulling over once again I called a transmission shop and explained what had just happed and asked if they could look at my truck to see what was going on. They told me it would be about three months before they can get me in, but said they know what exactly had happened. When I asked them to please tell me what had occurred, they told me the transmission suddenly went from 5th gear down to 1st gear due to a "Transmission Molded Lead Frame issue" I had no idea what he was talking about, and he said the fix is a simple one that involved a computer software update. Well, I learned that in 2019 there was a "Customer Satisfaction program" for this issue but the problem is I knew nothing about it and when I purchased the vehicle in 2022, I wasn't told about this. Now, the Ford dealership I took the truck to said the "Customer Satisfaction program" that was issued had expired and I would have to pay for the repair. I'm confused because when I first started researching this issue the Carfax at the time I purchased the vehicle was a "Customer Satisfaction program", and after talking to the Hanford Auto Sales, in California, I purchased the vehicle they said they didn't do anything because it was just a "Customer Satisfaction program". INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
the speed sensor in transmission isn't working properly it shift down to 1st gear as shown in these recalls 19S07,19S19,AND 24S37. IM NOT SURE IF IT IS RELATED TO 19N01 in any way but the problem was that its showing on my vin that they conducted a recall 19S07 ON MY 2012 F-150 IN THE Past but then after that there was a 19S19 recalled ADDED because the prior 19s07 didn't work properly or hold up ,so what that meant was they should have made it aware to all vehicles that was performed with this reprogramming recall but they did not send any notification or make available to my f150 especially knowing the reprograming didn't hold up, so I was never granted access or authorization and notified that it need to be re done . also the problem I noticed says its with the software in 19s19 and 19s07 but this seems more like a speed sensor problem that's indicated in 24s37 and that seems to be a hardware issue ,if u look into this issue on line you'll notice the fix for this issue is for the sensor to be replaced in the transmission . I feel that ford should be responsible for the issue with my f150 .
On 8/2/25, driving home after dinner with the family my 2013 F150 did hard downshift and the service light came on so went to an auto store for the code. It was the code 19SO7 which turned out to be a software OSS update that was under a recall. Took truck to Ford to do recall and they stated that they did a software update. After picking up the truck we are still having the same hard downshift but now it flashes my airbag light and I loose dash information. Truck was taken back in and Ford says it’s another code with no check engine light but stating that it’s the lead frame issue which was a part of a recall associated the hard downshift safety issue. Dealership reached out to Ford Customer Satisfaction Program because there was a campaign (19N01) that’s still up on their site that would take care of the faulty lead frame associated with the recall. However, Ford denied assisting this safety hazard due to the time they had in the campaign which was 10 years/150,000 miles. The truck is under 95,000 miles. The truck cannot be safely driven, the original problem I took the truck in for, which was a safety recall, is not resolved and worse than when I took it in.
Transmission down shifts and slam you into windshield cars behind you has to slam on there brakes

Transmission downshift in low gear at highway speeds, almost lost control, afraid of any transmission damage, looked online for other ford p/ups with same 6speed transmission problems and of course they are millions of recalls but my vin # isn’t included, called ford motor co, seems like they are just passing the buck , I know it’s the same exact problem, wondering if I should go to local news station to report it as an ongoing issue, and I would like this investigated !!!!
I was driving on the highway at 55 mph and my truck downshifted to fist gear and the speedometer went to zero with the wrench light coming on. The system that malfunctioned was the molded lead frame for the transmission that was a customer satisfaction program with Ford that I was not notified about. My safety was at risk because I was traveling at a high rate of speed before my truck downshifted into first gear. My problem has been confirmed by my local ford dealer and repaired at my own cost. The vehicle has been inspected by my local Ford dealer. No other symptoms prior to the failure.
The contact owns a 2013 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the steering wheel failed to turn in the intended direction. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 75,000.
The contact owns a 2013 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 10 MPH, the speedometer went to 0 MPH, and the transmission failed to shift out of 1st gear. The contact shifted into neutral and shifted back to drive; however, the transmission still failed to upshift into second gear. The check engine warning light and the service vehicle soon warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed, and the contact was informed that the molded lead frame was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 154,000.
On vehicles equipped the R680 six speed transmission, the oil lines break off at the Quick Disconnect to the transmission oil cooler due to metal fatigue. When this happens, it causes 14 quarts of automatic transmission fluid to be pumped out onto the roadway from the front of the vehicle and on the tires and roadway. Several things can happen when this happens. 1. Loss of control resulting in a crash. 2. Vehicle stopping on roadway and unable to continue. 3. Roadway gets covered with oil may cause other vehicles to crash. 4. Enviornmental issues. I am reporting this because it is a problem that is common and should be addressed. The problem is well documented on the internet and YouTube. (Ford F150 Transmission Cooler Lines Breaking.) In my case the line snaped off when I was in my driveway. Very lucky.
While driving at highway speeds, about 55mph, transmission just jerked. Happened multiple times until I could get it in to be serviced. Service light comes on, speedometer goes to zero, safety lights come on and its not able to downshift. I fear this could be a very dangerous especially at this speeds.. After stopping and turning of the road it still would not reset. It would not reset until I parked the vehicle and shutdown then restarted. Picture attached shows the dash..... while going 55 speedometer went to zero. Was in 5 gear and would not change, mileage went to "--------" Engine light and Airbag lights come on...... NHTSA site shows no recalls but Ford does show their own recall. Ford will not cover this repair because they said they notified of a recall but nothing was ever sent to me or told to me in any previous trips to dealership. This is a known safety risk and Ford should still be pushing to get these parts replaced. Fords Campaign after to search online. 19N01 Description Transmission molded leadframe
