2014 F150 ECOBOOST V6 - ENGINE SHUDDERS AND STALLS UPON RAPID ACCELERATION; ISSUE HAS BEEN ADDRESSED WITH "DEFLECTOR SHIELD" BUT THIS SHIELD IS ALREADY IN PLACE IN MY VEHICLE BUT THE VEHICLE CONTINUES TO HAVE THIS ISSUE - I FEEL THE VEHICLE IS UNSAFE BUT FORD OFFERS NO ASSISTANCE WITH RESOLUTION OF THE ISSUE. *TR
DURING STARTS FROM A STOP TRUCK WILL NOT HAVE ANY THROTTLE RESPONSE. PUSH THE ACCELERATOR MORE TRUCK CATCHES UP AFTER ACCELERATOR IS MID WAY HALF THROTTLE. DEALERSHIP COULDN'T DUPLICATE, RESET THROTTLE MEMORY WITHOUT ANY CHANGE AS OF 04/22/2015. *TR
I BACKED OUT OF A SPACE AT A FLA TURNPIKE SVC PLAZA. THEN AS I PULLED FORWARD AT 3 MPH, I TURNED TO THE RIGHT. AT THAT MOMENT THE STEERING COLUMN TORQUED HARD TO THE RIGHT AND THE TRUCK BECAME ELEVATED 12 OR MORE INCHES JUST ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE. AFTER A MINUTE THE STEERING COLUMN CAME TO A NORMAL POSITION AND THE TRUCK SETTLED INTO A NORMAL STANCE. AT THE DEALER TODAY, THE NEXT DAY. *TR
WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON DASH ABOUT STABILITY OR TRACTION CONTROL, NO 4X4 LIGHTS WERE SHOWING EVEN THOUGH I HAD IT IN FOUR WHEEL DRIVE. WITHIN SECONDS I COULD NOT CONTROL MY TRUCK IN THE SNOW AND THE STEERING WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO CHANGE MY COURSE OF DIRECTION. THIS TRUCK ACTED LIKE IT WAS NOT IN FOUR WHEEL DRIVE. MY TRUCK SLAMMED/SLID SIDEWAYS INTO A CURB ON THE ROTARY BY MY HOME CAUSING $2129.19 DAMAGES TO TIRES AND RIMS AND FRONT END PARTS. AFTER I HIT THE CURB THE 4X4 LIGHT WAS SHOWING AS WAS THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS AND I WAS ABLE TO STEER MY TRUCK AND KEEPING IT FROM DROPPING OVER AN EMBANKMENT. MY SPEED WAS 15 MILES PER HOUR AS I CAME TOWARDS THE ROTARY. I CONTACTED FORD AND RECEIVED A CALL BACK 11/6/14 STATING THAT I NEEDED TO GO THROUGH MY INSURANCE AND THAT MY INSURANCE COMPANY WAS WELCOME TO SUBROGATE THIS WITH FORD LEGAL COUNSEL. THE WOMAN THAT CALLED WOULD NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTION ABOUT WHAT THIS ALL MEANT JUST THAT I NEEDED TO DEAL WITH MY INSURANCE COMPANY OVER AND OVER. *TR
Our 2014 F150 has had a problem with brakes squealing since day 1 I've checked for recalls but our vehicle doesn't fit the criteria. We are told by a brakes company we do not have a brake problem . There are only 68000 miles on vehicle something has been causing the noise the entire time The reason we are only now checking is my husband just got hearing aids and now acknowledges the problem( wouldn't take my word for it) Have there been any other complaints regarding this?
THE VACUUM PUMP ON THE DRIVER SIDE IS MAKING A SOUND THAT IT DIDN'T BEFORE AND IT'S GETTING WORSE.
AFTER ABOUT 800 MILES I WAS DRIVING ON A ROAD AT 35 MPH AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THE AIRBAG DEPLOYED ON ITS OWN WHILE I WAS MOVING AT ABOUT 35 MPH. TRAFFIC WAS LIGHT AND I COASTED UNTIL I HIT THE BACK OF A STOPPED SMALL TRUCK.
PARKED ON A DOWN SLOPE VEHICLE WILL NOT START WHEN GAS IS BELOW 1/4 OF A TANK. MY TRUCK SAID I HAD 86 MILES TO EMPTY. ONCE THE TRUCK WAS TAKEN TO A LEVEL GRADE, IT THEN STARTED. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD F-150. WHILE THE CONTACT WAS HITCHING A TRAILER TO THE VEHICLE, THE VEHICLE ROLLED IN REVERSE WHILE PARKED. THE VEHICLE ROLLED OVER THE CONTACT'S LEFT FOOT AND THE TRAILER CRASHED INTO A FENCE. THE CONTACT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,000.
NEW TRUCK 2 WEEKS OLD WENT TO PASS ANOTHER CAR AND THE ENGINE CUT OUT AND ALMOST STALLED OUT. *TR
STARTED AT 8K MILES. WHILE SITTING AT A STOP, THE PEDAL GRADUALLY GOES TO THE FLOOR (SOMETIMES). MOST TIMES IT DOES NOT. DEALER MECHANIC VERIFIED IT, CALLED FORD, THEY TOLD HIM ITS NORMAL!! SOMETIMES THE TRUCK WILL EVEN CREEP FORWARD. FORD TOLD TECH TO DO NOTHING. *TR
WHILE GOING UP A STEEP INCLINE, I WENT OFF OF THE GAS TO SLOW DOWN AS I WAS APPROACHING A CORNER. WHEN I GOT TO THE CORNER, I ATTEMPTED TO TURN AND REALIZED I DIDN'T HAVE ANY POWER STEERING. WHEN I LOOKED AT THE GAUGES, LOW OIL PRESSURE WAS DISPLAYED ON THE DASHBOARD AND THE ENGINE WAS NO LONGER RUNNING. THE TRUCK DID RESTART AND I WAS ABLE TO DRIVE AWAY. FORD IS STATING THAT SINCE THERE WEREN'T ANY CODES, THERE IS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION AND COULD POTENTIALLY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. *TR
FIRST, I CRANK MY VEHICLE AND ALLOW TO ENGINE TO WARM APPROXIMATELY 3-5 MINUTES EACH DAY AS USUAL. ONCE I BEGIN DRIVING A "LOUD HUMMING" OR UNUSUAL NOISE HAPPENS USUALLY ONCE I REACH 30-40 MILES PER HOUR. THIS WILL HAPPEN SEVERAL TIMES DURING MY DRIVING TIME, AND THEN CEASE ALL OF A SUDDEN. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS ISSUE BECAUSE I JUST PURCHASED VEHICLE ON JUNE 20, 2014 AND NOW I AM HAVING ISSUES WITH IT. I WAS ABLE TO FINALLY GET INTO MY LOCAL DEALER (POINT OF PURCHASE ALSO) TO GET A TECH TO RIDE WITH ME BECAUSE NO LIGHTS COME ON DURING NOISE TIME. I AM VERY FRUSTRATED WITH ESTABROOK FORD IN PASCAGOULA RIGHT NOW. I CALLED ON JULY 17 TO SET UP "CHECK" FOR VEHICLE, BUT WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE VERY BUSY AND COULD NOT CHECK IT UNTIL NEXT WEEK. I SCHEDULED TO HAVE A LEAVE VEHICLE AT DEALER OVERNIGHT AND RETURN NEXT MORNING SO THAT TECH COULD RIDE WITH ME TO "LISTEN" FOR NOISE. UPON ARRIVAL, I WAS TOLD THAT THEY TRIED TO CALL ME TO RESCHEDULE BECAUSE 3 TECHS AND OIL CHANGER GUY HAD WALKED OFF JOB. WELL, THIS IS UNTRUE BECAUSE I HAVE HAD SAME NUMBER FOR 2 YEARS, AND HAVE TAKEN MY VEHICLES IN FOR OIL CHANGE, ETC. I TOLD THEM THAT I COULD NOT TAKE OFF WORK TO BRING VEHICLE BACK AND I WAITED FOR TECH TO RIDE WITH ME. TECH RODE WITH ME (VERY NICE GUY) AND HEARD SOUND. HE STATED THAT IT SOUNDS LIKE TRANSMISSION BECAUSE THE NOISE OCCURS DURING SHIFTING. THEY SCHEDULED ME TO RETURN VEHICLE THIS WEDNESDAY AFTER I GET OFF WORK (AUGUST 5) TO PUT IT ON RACK TO ATTEMPT TO REPAIR PROBLEM. MY OTHER ISSUE IS WITH FORD CORPORATION! I AM VERY FRUSTRATED TO KNOW THAT I MAY HAVE ONGOING ISSUES WITH A "NEW PURCHASE."
I GOT IN MY TRUCK TO START IT AND IT WAS COMPLETELY DEAD. NO FIRE WHATSOEVER. SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT WAS ON AND TRAILER PARK LIGHT OR SOMETHING WAS ON. RADIO, WINDOWS, DOORS, LIGHTS, EVERYTHING WORKED. IT JUST DID NOT START AT ALL. HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED. DEALERSHIP RESET COMPUTER. LIGHT STILL CAME ON. TOOK IT BACK A WEEK LATER, BECAUSE THE SERVICE TRAC CONTROL LIGHT WAS COMING ON AND STAYING ON AGAIN. CAN'T FIND ANY THING WRONG WITH IT. THIS IS A BRAND NEW TRUCK. MY LORD. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE FIGURED OUT WITH IT. WHY PAY FOR A BRAND NEW TRUCK THAT YOU ARE AFRAID TO DRIVE. LUCKY THIS TOOK PLACE IN MY OWN YARD, AND NOT OUT OF TOWN OR SOMETHING. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD F-150 EQUIPPED WITH HANKOOK P235 (NA) TIRES, SIZE: 7SR17. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE TIRES WERE BUMPY, AND FELT AS IF THEY LOST AIR. THE TIRE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE TIRES VIBRATED AND THE WHEELS SHOOK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE MECHANIC DIAGNOSED AND PERFORMED AN ALIGNMENT, AND ALSO SWAPPED THE FRONT AND REAR TIRES. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE TIRE AND VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 20,000.
THE VEHICLE WHEELS ON THE INSIDE ARE HEAVILY COVERED IN RUST WHICH MAY OVER TIME DETERIORATE THE INTEGRITY OF THE ITEM POSSIBLY LEADING TO A BREAKAGE AND ACCIDENT. *JS
THE VEHICLE DRIVESHAFT IS HEAVILY COVERED IN RUST WHICH MAY OVER TIME DETERIORATE THE INTEGRITY OF THE ITEM POSSIBLY LEADING TO A BREAKAGE. *JS
THIS VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH DIV HEADLIGHTS. WHEN TURNED ON THEY HAVE A DISTINCT VERTICAL LINE THAT RUNS FROM YOUR FAR LEFT VISION TO YOUR FAR RIGHT VISION. BELOW THIS LINE IT IS VERY BRIGHT AND ABOVE THIS LINE IT IS TOTAL DARKNESS. THE LINE RUNS DIRECTLY ACROSS THE CENTER OF YOUR VISION. THIS LINE IS CONSTANTLY BOUNCING UP AND DOWN WITH BUMPS AND IMPERFECTIONS IN THE ROAD. EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO SEE. WHEN DRIVING THROUGH MOUNTAINS, HILLS AND LOW LINES YOUR VISION IS 100% BLOCKED ABOVE THE LINE. WHEN THE VEHICLE IS DRIVING DOWN A GRADE YOU LOOSE ALL VISION TO THE UPCOMING GRADE. I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO THE FORD MOTOR CO. CUSTOMER RELATIONS DEPARTMENT. I WAS INFORMED THAT THESE DIV LIGHTS WERE APPROVED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND THAT IS THE WAY OF THE FUTURE. PLEASE, HAVE SOMEONE DRIVE ONE OF THESE TRUCKS AT NIGHT IN THE HILLS. THANK YOU *TR
PROBLEM START SINCE I BOUGHT THE TRUCK,DRIVERSHAFT MAKE AN UNCOMFORTABLE BUMP OR HIT EVERYTIME TRUCK STOP OR ACCELERATE.I BEEN TREE TIMES IN FORD SERVICE AND THEY SAID IS A NORMAL THING.I HAVE TESTED OTHER FRIENDS TRUCK AND THEY DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS.THIS IS MY THIRD FORD TRUCK AND IS THE FIRST TIME I FEEL THIS PROBLEM.

DRIVING TO WORK ON THE LOCAL FREEWAY. LOW BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON AND I PULLED OFF TO A NEAR BY AUTOZONE .5 MILES AWAY. CHECK BRAKE FUILD WHICH WAS ALMOST COMPLETELY EMPTY. BOUGHT A 32 OZ BOTTLE OF BRAKE FUILD. DRIVE ANOTHER 6 MILES TO WORK AND THE LOW BRAKE FUILD LIGHT CAME ON. POURED THE REST OF THE FUILD TO GET TO ANOTHER AUTOZONE TO BUY ANOTHER 2 BOTTLES OF FUILD TO GET TO A GARAGE NEAR MY HOUSE. USED A TOTAL OF 3 BOTTLES AND NO SIGN OF FUILD LEAKING ANYWHERE ON MY TRUCK. THE FUILD COULD BE LEAKING INTO THE BOOTER. AS OF RIGHT NOW WAITING ON MY TRUCK TO BE LOOKED OVER FOR THE ISSUE OF LOST BRAKE FUILD AT MY LOCAL GARAGE.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE A FAILURE CODE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V373000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 800.

WAS PARKED IN MY DRIVEWAY WHEN A SECTION OF THE REAR WINDOW EXPLODED. THE VEHICLE WAS WARMING UP(AUTO START) FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES BEFORE MY DAUGHTER AND I GOT IN TO LEAVE WHEN WE HEARD A LOUD POP. I LOOKED BACK AND NOTICED THE REAR DRIVER SIDE WINDOW WAS SHATTERED. THERE WERE LITTLE PIECES OF GLASS THROUGHOUT THE BACK OF THE VEHICLE AND I'M SURE LANDED ON MY DAUGHTERS HAIR AND CLOTHES. THE VEHICLE IS A FX4 SUPER CREW CAB WITH THE SLIDING 3 PIECE REAR WINDOW. I AM LOCATED IN BARRIE, ONTARIO CANADA AND THE WEATHER WAS 0 DEGREES CELCIUS WHEN IT HAPPENED. *TR
WHILE ACCELERATING THE TRUCK WILL MAKE A WHINING/GROANING NOISE COMING FROM THE TRANSMISSION AREA AND WILL GO AWAY ONCE THE TRUCK HAS FINISHED ACCELERATING TO THE SPEED LIMIT. THE WHOLE TRUCK WILL ALSO JUMP MAKING A NOTICEABLE THUD WHILE SHIFTING INTO REVERSE WITH THE TRUCK STATIONARY AND THE BRAKES APPLIED, IT WILL OCCASIONALLY DO THE SAME SHIFTING INTO DRIVE, AGAIN WHILE STATIONARY. WHEN I PARK THE TRUCK ON A INCLINE BIG OR SMALL THE TRUCK WILL MAKE A LOUD BUZZING NOISE COMING FROM UNDERNEATH AND A VIBRATION CAN BE FELT THAT WILL LAST A FEW SECONDS TO A MINUTE, THE SOUND CAN BE HEARD SHIFTING THROUGH P,N,D,R AS WELL. THE LAST ISSUE OCCURS WHEN THE OUTSIDE TEMPS ARE COLD AND I DRIVE THE TRUCK 15-20MINS WITH A AVERAGE SPEED OF 50MPH. I HAVE TAKEN THE TRUCK TO THE DEALER WHO ATTEMPTED TO FIX THE ISSUE TO NO AVAIL. I HAVE SPOKE WITH ANOTHER DEALER'S SERVICE MANAGER WHO WAS NOT VERY HELPFUL IN SOLVING MY ISSUE. I'M CURRENTLY IN TOUCH WITH A FORD REGIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE AND IN THE PROCESS OF GOING BACK TO A DEALER. *TR
VIBRATION WHEN STARTING OFF IN FIRST GEAR OR DRIVE ON AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS. ALSO VIBRATION AT 45MPH THRU 52MPH WHILE LIGHT THROTTLE APPLICATION ONLY. THIS IS REALLY NOTICEABLE ON SMOOTH ROADS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS 2014 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HORN WAS NOT WORKING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER THREE DIFFERENT TIMES WHERE THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE BODY CONTROL MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND THE BLUE TOOTH SYSTEM NEEDED TO BE REPROGRAMMED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT FURTHER REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 6,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 17,000.
