EXHAUST MANIFOLD LEAK AT 45000 MILES.
After a safety recall repair concerning the door latches not securing . The passenger door opened when I took a left turn. I took it back to the dealer that did the repair and the supervisor stated that the mechanic was dismissed after improper repairs were conducted. Every once in a while the door latch does not secure causing the door latch to stay open. Additionally the back left door, under the same recall behaves the same way. It does not engage the door latch mechanism. I brought this to the attention of the repair facility and I was assured that there is nothing wrong with my doors securing to the latch. Yet, there seems to be a problem securing my door. There is no warning from the trucks system that a door is open or unsecured. My 72 year old mother was in the passenger seat when the door opened. Now she won't get into my vehicle for fear of her life. My back left passenger door swung open as I was backing out of my driveway. The dashboard did not indicate the door was open. The problem ONLY first appeared AFTER the safety recall repair was conducted. I have no confidence in my does being secured. The doors opening has happened several times. Since the repair sep 2018. The doors are not dependable and I must sell this truck in order to get my family out of any harm
I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS BUT ASK TO CHANGE DE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER...BUT INHAVE HAD NO LEAKS AND NOTHING SHOWS UP IN THE DASH. AT THE DEALER THEY SAID THEY JUST CARRY THE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER. THEY DONT HAVE THE BRAKE BOOSTER. AM I SAFE? WHY ASKED TO CHANGE A PART WHEN THEY DONT HAVE THE OTHWR PARTE JUST IN CASE?
WHEN TOWING AND COMING TO A STOP MY VEHICLE STALLS AND DIES. IT WILL NOT STAY RUNNING. TO KEEP IT RUNNING I HAVE TO PUT IN NEUTRAL AND PRESS THE GAS PEDAL TO KEEP IT RUNNING AND THEN PUT INTO GEAR AND TAKE OFF. THIS IS NOT SAFE. IT IS THE 2.7L ECOBOOST. I TOOK IT TO OUR LOCAL FORD WHERE IT HAPPENED TO THE TECH THAT TOOK MY TRUCK IN FOR INSPECTION AND THEN THEY SAID THE SERVICE TECH COULD NOT REPLICATE THE ISSUE. THEY CHARGED ME $130 DIAGNOSIS FEE AND SAID THEY COULDN'T FIND THE ISSUE AND CALLED FOR ME TO PICK UP MY VEHICLE. THIS IS HAPPENING ALL OVER THE COUNTRY AND SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE.
MY F150 RANDOMLY JUST DOWNSHIFTED WHEN TURNING AND ALMOST ALL POWER. THEN SHIFTED BACK INTO GEAR. I READ SOME POST ABOUT THIS HAPPENING WITH OTHER PEOPLE ALSO. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS EVER HAPPENED.
*PROBLEM OCCURS EVERY TIME IT IS 35DEGREES OR COLDER.* EVERY TIME SOMEONE OPENS THE PASSENGER FRONT DOOR, GETS IN AND WHEN IT'S TIME TO GET OUT, AND TRIES TO SHUT THE DOOR, IT BOUNCES BACK OPEN-NEVER LATCHES. DOOR WILL NOT SECURE. WILL HAPPEN STATIONARY, IN MOTION, ON A CITY STREET, OR A HIGHWAY, TURNING, ETC. I HAVE HAD IT INTO THE LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP 3 DIFFERENT TIMES AND EXTRA LUBE HAS NOT FIXED THE ISSUE. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. IT HAPPENS EVERY TIME DOOR IS OPENED FROM THE INSIDE.
I HAD JUST DROPPED OFF MY SON AT DAYCARE AND TURNED ON THE DEFROSTERS. I WAS SITTING IN THE PARKING LOT AT WORK, AND THE VEHICLE WAS COMPLETELY STATIONARY AT THE TIME. A RANK, BURNING SMELL FILLED THE TRUCK AND I IMMEDIATELY TURNED IT OFF. SECONDS LATER A LOUD "POP" OCCURRED AND THE REAR WINDOW COMPLETELY SHATTERED. THERE ARE SMALL PIECES OF GLASS THROUGHOUT THE BED AND INSIDE THE BACK SEAT. THANK GOD MY CHILD WAS NOT IN THE VEHICLE WHEN IT HAPPENED, AND THAT I TURNED OFF THE CAR BEFORE THE ENTIRE THING ENGULFED IN FLAMES.
Before purchasing, it was later outlined by a different dealership/repair shop that the truck had previously had the remain replaced sometime before 21,000miles. At 25,000 miles truck was sent to West Hills Ford dealer ship for warranty work. When truck was returned, a complaint was made before leaving the dealership stating that; The motor had a slight engine shake, and the RMP's failed to hold study at ideal, and ran slightly rough. Dealership (west hills auto) replied; Until failure warranty would not fix. At 41,000 miles motors timing system failed and was eventually paid for out of owners pocket; as covid-19 loomed repairs where unavailable and both factory warranty and extended warranties where exhausted. Owner is currently in the process of filling complaints with state attorney general. At 44,000 miles the motor has completely froze and remaining unrepaired. Outsourced extended warranty claim was filed and a claim number was approved, but never redeemed, and still remains unpaid to mechanic shop.
THE TOP TRACK OF THE REAR WINDOW THAT HOLDS THE SMALLER SLIDING WINDOW IN PLACE BECAME COMPLETELY DETACHED FROM THE BACK WALL OF THE CABIN. THE SMALL WINDOW WAS BEING HELD IN PLACE BY THE LOWER TRACK ONLY. THIS CAUSED THE TOP TRACK AND THE SLIDING WINDOW TO LEAN INTO THE CABIN AWAY FROM THE MAIN REAR WINDOW. IT CREATED AN AIR GAP BETWEEN THE MAIN WINDOW AND THE SMALL WINDOW. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT IN MOTION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DAMAGED IN ANY OTHER WAY. IT APPEARS THAT THE ADHESIVE HOLDING THE TRACK IN PLACE SIMPLY FAILED OVER TIME. IN MY OPINION THIS CREATED A SAFETY ISSUE. IF THE TRUCK HAD BEEN REAR-ENDED, I THINK IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE TOP TRACK AND WINDOW COULD HAVE BECOME COMPLETELY DETACHED AND CAUSED INJURIES TO PASSENGERS IN THE TRUCK.
THE SUN/MOON ROOF HAD BEEN RATTLING SINCE EARLY 2020 - MAYBE SINCE WE BOUGHT IT IN MARCH 2019. TAKEN TO THE LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP 3 TIMES IN 2020 FOR THIS RATTLE. JUST PICKED IT UP (3/20/2021) AND BOTH SUNROOF GUIDES/RAMPS CRACKED AND ALL OF IT HAD TO BE REPLACED. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN - WHAT IF THE ENTIRE SUN/MOON ROOF ASSEMBLY WOULD HAVE SHATTERED? THANKFULLY, WE SPENT THE $3000 ON AN EXTENDED WARRANTY, BUT STILL HAD TO PAY $148 TO GET IT ALL FIXED.
I HAD JUST COMPLETED WASHING MY TRUCK IN AN AUTOMATIC CAR WASH AND WHEN SLOWLY EXITING THE CAR WASH BAY, THE TRUCK UNEXPECTEDLY ACCELERATED. I LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WENT UP AN EMBANKMENT, WENT AIRBORNE, AND I CROSSED FOUR LANES OF TRAFFIC BEFORE I COULD GET THE VEHICLE STOPPED.

TOUCH SCREEN THAT CONTROLS HEATING SYSTEM AND HEATING STEERING WHEEL VERY SLOW TO RESPOND. REAR VIEW CAMERA MALFUNCTIONS. SCREEN GOES BLANK WHEN BACKING UP THEN COME ON AND STAYS ON WHILE GOING FORWARD. BEEN READING ONLINE AND THIS IS ATTRIBUTED TO A FAULTY APIM ACCESSORY PROTOCOL INTERFACE MODULE.
2016 F-150 3.5L 4X4 ECOBOOST WITH MAX TOWING PACKAGE - VEHICLE SUDDENLY AND W/O WARNING CAUGHT FIRE AND ENGULFED IN FLAMES WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF HEARING A HUMMING SOUND AND THEN SEEING WHITE OR GRAY SMOKE. WE WERE TOWING OUR 28 FT TRAVEL TRAILER FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ABOUT 4-5 MONTHS, 30 MINUTES INTO THE TRIP ON A FLAT HIGHWAY. PULLED OVER WITHIN 1 MIN OF HEARING THE NOISE/ SEEING SMOKE. UPON EXITING, SAW FLAMES PEEKING OUT FROM UNDER FRONT OF TRUCK. FLAMES HIT THE CAB WITHIN PROBABLY 3 MINS LATER. WE HAD TOWED A 28 FT TRAVEL TRAILER WITH THIS VEHICLE EXTENSIVELY AND COMFORTABLY WITH FEW ISSUES (EXCEPT THROTTLE BODY FAILURE AROUND 30K MILES). REGULAR OIL CHANGES AND MAINTENANCE. FULL PA STATE INSPECTION 3 MONTHS PRIOR, OIL CHANGE 2K MILES PRIOR. NO OUTSTANDING RECALL WORK TO OUR KNOWLEDGE. NO UNUSUAL HANDLING, SMELLS, LEAKING FLUIDS THAT WE NOTICED, OR WARNING LIGHTS. FIRE INVESTIGATOR'S BEST GUESS WAS SUDDEN TRANSMISSION ISSUE BECAUSE IT COMPLETELY BURNED AWAY BUT WE'LL UNFORTUNATELY NEVER REALLY KNOW.
My 2.7L echo-boost engine had to have 2 cylinder heads replaced at 62K miles, fortunately I had purchased the extended warranty. I have since learned this is an engine design that is prone to this problem. Unfortunately they are still allowed to put these engines in their trucks. I have since purchased additional warranty to protect myself from further expense related to the bad engine design. I'm upset that when I go to sell my truck the carfax report will include this engine issue and my truck will be devalued for it. Prior to my taking it to the dealer, my check oil light was coming on with no trace of an oil leak anywhere, they knew right away what the cause was because they had seen this problem many times before. It took them 6 weeks to get my truck repaired. The warranty company kept stalling on whether they were going to pay for the repair, which eventually they did.
REAR WINDOW/WINDSHIELD SHATTERED FOR NO APPARENT REASON WHEN GETTING INTO THE VEHICLE AND CLOSING THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE DOOR. VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN DRIVEWAY.
STEERING LOCKED UP. IT FREED THEN DRIVING DOWN INTERSTATE EVERYTHING CAME ON STEERING ASSIST
I REMOTE STARTED MY VEHICLE AND A FEW MINUTES LATER I LOADED MY DAUGHTER INTO HER CARSEAT AND BEGAN DRIVING. I DROVE ABOUT 10 FEET AND STOPPED TO GET OUT WHEN I REALIZED I FORGOT MY WALLET INSIDE. AT THAT TIME, WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY, I HEARD A LOUD SMASHING SOUND. I LOOKED BACK INTO THE DIRECTION THE SOUND CAME FROM AND SAW THAT THE ENTIRE BACK WINDOW WAS SHATTERED AND SOME GLASS HAD FALLEN ONTO MY DAUGHTER. I CONTACTED A LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP AND THEN FORD MOTOR COMPANY AND NEITHER COMPANY ACKNOWLEDGED MY CONCERN. FORD DIDN'T EVEN GET ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM ME BEFORE THEY DISCONNECTED MY CALL.
DURING COLD WEATHER THE VEHICLE DOORS WILL EITHER NOT OPEN OR WILL NOT SHUT ONCE OPENED UNTIL THE INTERIOR OF THE TRUCK WARMS UP. I HAVE HAD MY TRUCK IN PREVIOUSLY FOR A RECALL ON THIS EXACT PROBLEM. THIS MORNING MY DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR WOULD NOT LATCH SHUT AFTER I OPENED THE DOOR. I HAD TO PULL THE DOOR SHUT AND FINALLY GOT THE DOOR LOCKS TO HOLD THE DOOR SO I COULD DRIVE TO WORK. ONCE THE VEHICLE INTERIOR WARMED I WAS ABLE TO PROPERLY SHUT MY DOOR. I CALLED MY FORD DEALER TODAY AND THEY SAID IT WOULD NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY PROBLEM THAT HORD HAS KNOWN ABOUT FOR YEARS AND STILL HAVEN'T FIXED THE PROBLEM.
The contact owns a 2016 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the cylinder head needed to be replaced. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who replaced the engine however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no additional assistance was repaired. The failure mileage was 56,749.
WHILE DRIVING IN NORTHERN MICHIGAN IN 10 DEGREE WEATHER DURING HEAVY SNOW FALLING I WAS UNABLE TO USE DEFROST FUNCTION TO CLEAR WINDSHIELD, UPON CYCLING THROUGH ALL HEAT OPTIONS FOUND THAT ONLY THE DASH VENTS WERE WORKING. TOOK IT TO DEALER FOR REPAIR AND THEY STATED THE A/C BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR MOTOR FAILED. FORD OEM REPLACEMENT PART IS BACKORDERED UNTIL MID-MARCH, THEY INSTALLED AN AFTERMARKET ONE BUT IT DOES NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY, NOW WAITING FOR OEM PART TO REPLACE IT WITH. ONLY 57,000 MILES.
I PURCHASED A USED 2016 FORD F-150 XLT CREW CAB, 4X4, 2.7L ENGINE ON 01/29/2021. MY DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR WON'T CLOSE/ LATCH PROPERLY, MAKING THE VEHICLE UNSAFE TO DRIVE. I HAVE READ THE FORD FORUMS, AND IT SEEMS AS THOUGH FORD F-150'S HAVE THIS AS A COMMON ISSUE IN COLD WEATHER CLIMATES. THERE HAVE BEEN NUMEROUS RECALLS FOR THIS SAFETY ISSUE, BUT IT DOES NOT APPEAR BY MY VIN # THAT THERE IS AN ACTIVE OPEN RECALL. I WILL CHECK WITH FORD TO SEE WHAT THEY WILL DO TO REMEDY THE ISSUE.
The contact owns a 2016 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the driver’s side rear and passenger’s side rear doors failed to unlock when the weather was cold. The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic for inspection. The mechanic advised the contact to verify if the vehicle was recalled for the door lock failure. The contact verified the VIN and found that the vehicle was not recalled for the door lock failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 107,000.
VEHICLE WIPERS WILL NOT TURN OFF DESPITE BEING OFF ON THE WIPER COLUMN.
BRAKE PEDAL IS DROPPING TO THE FLOOR WHILE THE ENGINE IS ON. THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED BEFORE. I'M AFRAID THE BRAKE WILL FAIL AT ANY MOMENT WHILE ON THE ROAD.
Driver's door and passenger door latches freeze in open position after doors are opened using electronic key fob. Doors will not stay shut. Happens regularly after rain with temperatures below 32F. Doors fly open while driving when this happens. Ford dealer refused to repair 5/26/2021.
THIS EVENING ON 1/28/2021 AT 6:55PM, WHILE PARKED AT A SHELL GAS STATION IN ST CHARLES, IL ABOUT TO GET GASOLINE, THE ENTIRE BACK WINDOW SUDDENLY EXPLODED. THERE WAS A VERY LOUD BANG, FOLLOWED BY A BURNING SMELL. THE REAR DEFROSTER WAS NOT TURNED ON, THE INSIDE CABIN WAS SET TO 72 DEGREES FARENHEIT. I WAS THE ONLY ONE IN THE VEHICLE BUT I KEPT THINKING, WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF MY CHILDREN WERE IN THE BACK SEAT. THERE WAS GLASS STREWN ABOUT THE INSIDE AND EXTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE. I HAVE CALLED THE SHELL STATION LOCATED AT 2500 E MAIN ST, ST CHARLES, IL IN AN ATTEMPT TO ACQUIRE THE VIDEO SURVEILLANCE WHICH SHOULD SHOW THAT THERE WAS NO OUTSIDE DAMAGE OR IMPACT. ADDITIONALLY I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH A FRIEND AT THE TIME WHO ALSO HEARD THE EXPLOSION. THE VEHICLE WAS COMPLETELY STATIONARY.
WHILE STATIONARY (WOULD ALSO HAPPEN WHILE IN MOTION) IN A PARKING LOT WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING AND DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEAT HEATERS ACTIVATED (DRIVER ON MEDIUM, PASSENGER ON HIGH), A RANDOM CLICKING SOUND (BELIEVED TO BE THE RELAY FOR THE HEATED SEATS) WAS OBSERVED COMING FROM UNDER THE PASSENGER SEAT. IT WAS THEN NOTICED THAT THE HEATED SEATS WERE NO LONGER FUNCTIONING/PROVIDING HEAT, EVEN THOUGH THE LIGHTS ON THE CONTROLS WERE STAYING ILLUMINATED. A SHORT WHILE LATER, A BURNING (ELECTRICAL) SMELL WAS OBSERVED IN THE CAB, COMING FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. ONCE THE SMELL STARTED GETTING STRONGER, THE HEATED SEATS WERE TURNED OFF AND THE SMELL SEEMED TO GO AWAY WITHIN 5-10 MINUTES. UPON ARRIVING HOME, I INSPECTED THE SEAT HEATER CONTROL MODULE (ORIGINAL FORD PART NUMBER GU5T-14B663-AA) THAT IS LOCATED UNDER THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. UPON INSPECTION OF THIS MODULE, IT WAS FOUND THAT THE BK-BU WIRE ON THE 12-PIN C3265A CONNECTOR HAD STARTED TO MELT. UPON DOING SOME INVESTIGATION OF THIS ISSUE ONLINE, IT WAS FOUND THAT THIS IS A WIDESPREAD ISSUE AMONG MANY NEWER FORD VEHICLES THAT USES THE SAME SEAT HEATER CONTROL MODULE, AND MANY OTHER EXPERIENCED THIS ISSUE. THIS POSES A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE AS IT IS A FIRE HAZZARD.
THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THE MASTER BRAKE CYLINDER AND I BROUGHT THE TRUCK IN TO HAVE THE RECALL WORK DONE IN OCTOBER OF 2020. THE BRAKE FLUID LOW LIGHT IS COMING BACK ON.
Panoramic roof sliding mechanism braking once send to ford dealer got repaired and it broke again. Had a previous f150 just a year older 2015 had exactly the same issues thus meaning there’s definitely something wrong with this glass rooftops!
DOOR WILL NOT LATCH DUE TO COLD TEMPERATURE. WILL WORK WHEN HEATED, BUT THEN REFREEZES NOT ALLOWING THE DOOR TO LATCH. CAN NOT OPERATE VEHICLE WITH A DOOR NOT LATCHED CLOSED AND IT IS PRIMARY VEHICLE.I RECENTLY PURCHASED THE VEHICLE USED FROM A DEALERSHIP WHO IS NOT RESPONDING TO THIS ISSUE
HOOD WAS RELEASED WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE FREEWAY (IT DIDN'T OPEN ALL THE WAY DUE TO THE SAFETY CATCH UNDER THE HOOD). THIS IS ABOUT THE 6TH TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED IOVER THE LAST 2 YEARS BUT FIRST TIME IT HAS HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY. WE STOPPED USING THE EMERGENCY BRAKE ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO BECAUSE WE THOUGHT MAYBE OUR FOOT WAS ACCIDENTALLY HITTING THE HOOD RELEASE LEVER ON THE INSIDE PANEL. THEREFORE, THIS MOST RECENT TIME IT HAPPENED, WE DIDN'T HAVE A FOOT ANYWHERE NEAR THE HOOD RELEASE LEVER THE ENTIRE TRIP. HAD IT IN THE DEALERSHIP 2 YEARS AGO WHEN IT FIRST HAPPENED AND THEY APPARENTLY DIDN'T FIX IT OR DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG.
MY TRUCK WILL SHOW A WRENCH LIGHT ON THE DASH AND DOWNSHIFT FROM 6TH GEAR TO 1ST GEAR WHILE DRIVING CAUSING THE TIRES TO LOCK UP(70MPH ON THE HIGHWAY). THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUES AS I ALMOST WRECKED WHEN IT HAS DONE THIS. THE 2011 TO 2013 F-150S HAD A RECALL FOR THIS SAME ISSUE BUT THERE IS NO RECALL FOR THE 2016'S. TRUCK SHOWS CODE P0715.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, HE STARTED TO SMELL EXHAUST GASES INSIDE THE CABIN OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED NO WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE TO HIS DESTINATION. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE INSPECTING THE VEHICLE, HE NOTICED BOTH MANIFOLD WERE FRACTURED AND LEAKING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT BOTH MANIFOLDS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT CALLED MIKE WHITE FORD OF COEUR D'ALENE (315 W CLAYTON AVE, COEUR D'ALENE, ID 83815, (208) 664-9211) AND INFORMED THE DEALER OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 50,000.
I WAS DRIVING STRAIGHT ON ROUTE 5 IN ENFIELD CT, WHEN I NEEDED TO APPLY THE BRAKES THERE WAS NO REACTION FROM THE VEHICLE. THE BRAKE PEDAL WENT ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR, I HAD TO GO UP OVER A CURB INTO GRASS TO AVOID OTHER VEHICLES AND GET THE VEHICLE TO SLOW/STOP WITHOUT ANY BRAKES AVAILABLE. I ALMOST CRASHED INTO A BUILDING.
I WAS DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE AT 80MPH WHEN THE TRUCK LOST THRUST AND SEVERAL WARNINGS CAME UP. LUCKILY, I WAS NEAR AN EXIT SO ABLE TO COAST TO THE EXIT. THE THROTTLE BODY HAD TO REPLACE. I FOUND THIS WAS A COMMON ISSUE FOR THIS VEHICLE AND FORD HAD A CUSTOMER SERVICE PROGRAM TO REPLACE THEM. I AM THE SECOND OWNER AND NEVER HEARD ABOUT IT BECAUSE IT WAS NOT CONSIDERED A RECALL, SO I HAD TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS MYSELF. I CONSIDER THIS A SAFETY ISSUE. EXITING FROM INTERSTATE SPEED, COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP AT LIGHT, TRUCK SHAKES AND STALLS. ABLE TO RESTART. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT EVER. HAD LEFT VEHICLE AT DEALER FOR 3-4 DAYS WITH NO ISSUE FOUND. FUEL TANK LEVEL WEATHER FULL OR 1/4 FULL STILL OCCURS.

Both exhaust manifolds are warped and snapped the rear studs off. Occasionally lose power when pushing the accelerator. It has been going for awhile now. I didn’t know what it was until I saw other people were having the same problems.
DRIVER DOOR DID NOT LATCH WHEN CLOSING IT. AFTER HEATING IT UP AND OILING IT, IT LATCHED AGAIN.
I REMOTE STARTED THE TRUCK WHILE PARKED IN MY DRIVEWAY FIRST THING IN THE MORNING, WHILE I GOT MY SON READY FOR DAYCARE. THE WEATHER CONDITIONS WAS RAINING AND ROUGHLY 35 DEGREES. ONCE MY SON WAS LOADED INTO THE CAR SEAT I CLOSED HIS DOOR AND HEARD THE WINDOW CRACK. I LOOKED BACK TO SEE THE BACK REAR WINDSHIELD HAD SPIDER WEBBED AND SHATTERED. THE GLASS WAS BLOWN FROM THE INSIDE OUT ON THE DRIVER SIDE. I HAVE PHOTOS OF WERE THE DEFROST STRIP HAD ARCED/SEPARATED CAUSING THE WINDOW TO SHATTER. I LOOKED ONLINE AND SAW SEVERAL OTHER EXAMPLES OF THIS ON THE EXACT SAME MODEL OF TRUCK. I WAS RECOMMENDED TO PREVENT THIS IN THE FUTURE WAS TO PULL THE DEFROST FUSE.
TRUCK WILL STALL/SHUT OFF AT A STOP WHILE TOWING. RED BATTERY LIGHT WILL SHOW ON DASHBOARD. CAR WILL TURN OVER THEN SHUT DOWN AGAIN BY ITSELF WITHIN A FEW SECONDS. THIS HAPPENED 3 TIMES AT THIS POINT- ONCE WHILE IN GAS STATION IN LINE TO GET GAS (STATIONARY) ONCE AT INTERSECTION (STATIONARY AT STOP LIGHT), ANOTHER TIME AFTER STOPPING VEHICLE TO GET GAS. AT FIRST EVENT 30 MINUTES AFTER IT NOT WORKING A JUMP STARTED THE VEHICLE SUCCESSFULLY, AT SECOND INSTANCE JUMP WOULD NOT START CAR, HAD TO GET TOWED, AT THIRD INSTANCE WE WERE ABLE TO START VEHICLE BY HOLDING THROTTLE DOWN WHILE PUTTING IN DRIVE. BROUGHT TO FORD DEALERSHIP- SAID NOTHING WAS WRONG, WOULD NOT WORK ON TRUCK, SAID NO COMPUTER CODES WERE FOUND.
WHEN THE TEMPERATURE OUTSIDE GOES BELOW FREEZING, MY DOOR LOCKS FREEZE AND YOU CANNOT GET INTO THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS SITTING OUTSIDE IN MY DRIVEWAY, AND IS INOPERABLE. THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN REPORTED BY MANY OTHER FORD OWNERS ON THE INTERNET.
ELECTRIC TAILGATE OPENING GOING DOWN THE ROAD. IT WAS FIXED AFTER YOUR RECALL. IT IS NOW OPENING AGAIN ALSO PUSHING THE ELECTRONIC BUTTON DOES NOT OPEN THE LOCK WHEN TRUCK IS NOT MOVING.

THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE STEERING RACK ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OR FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 76,650.
REAR DEFROSTER SHORTED OUT. OVERHEATED AND CAUGHT THE PLASTICS ON FIRE. THE WINDOW THEN SHATTERED FROM THE EXCESS HEAT FROM THE REAR DEFROST. THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION ON THE HIGHWAY. OUTSIDE TEMP WAS 28 DEGREES. REAR DEFROST AND HEAT WERE ON FOR THE VEHICLE. WHILE TRAVELING, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SMOKE INTERNALLY. THE CAR WAS PULLED OVER, AND SHUT OFF. THE SMOKE STOPPED AND THE WINDOW SHATTERED. THE PLASTIC AND SEAT SURROUNDING THE REAR DEFROST CONNECTION TO THE WINDOW WERE MELTED.
HI, WE'VE EXPERIENCED TWO BRAKE FAILURES ON OUR FORD F-150 PICKUP. THE FIRST TIME WAS 17 JUNE 2020 ON FRONT RIGHT BRAKE. DEALER TOLD ME WE HIT SOMETHING AND CHARGED $500 TO FIX IT. VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND I STARTED IT UP AND PRESSED ON THE BRAKE PEDAL TO PUT IT INTO DRIVE, BRAKE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR AND UPON INVESTIGATION, I FOUND BRAKE FLUID LEAKING FROM THE RIGHT FRONT BRAKE AREA.. THE SECOND EVENT WAS 11 DECEMBER AND INVOLVED FRONT LEFT BRAKE. FAILURE OCCURRED WHEN BRINGING VEHICLE TO A STOP AFTER DISCONNECTING FROM OUR TRAVEL TRAILER AND WE WERE PULLING FORWARD TO SEPARATE FROM OUR TRAILER. TRUCK IS AT STOCKTON FORD, FORT STOCKTON, TEXAS.
