The tires were installed on 8.22.2025 and on the following Thursday, August 28, 2025, all of the tires had low pressure. I returned to the Orange City, FL Tire Kingdom per the managers' (Brittany) request and the mechanic filled all of the tires and said that they were not completely filled when they were installed. The following day, Friday, 8/29, I began my return trip to my home in North Carolina. Within a few hours, the driver’s side front tire exploded and my truck was on the rim of the tire, swerving into the adjacent lane on I-95. I was able to get the truck off of the highway, onto the nearest exit ramp without being hit. I have never been that close to being killed on the interstate. [XXX] came and put the spare on and while I was waiting along the highway I called Tire Kingdom and was advised by [XXX] at the Orange City store to take the truck to the nearest Mavis or Tire Kingdom. The nearest one was Mavis in Brunswick, Ga, about 30 minutes north of the incident. The Brunswick store was closing and I was advised to bring my truck in at 8:00 am. I stayed at a hotel nearby and had the truck there at 7:45 am. I was told that they did not have four replacement tires in stock and could probably have them by Tuesday as it was Labor Day Weekend. They stated that they could replace only the blown tire and “take a look” at the other three tires. There was absolutely no concern for my safety or welfare, and no appreciation of the amount of risk I would be undertaking to continue to drive on the other tires. I went to Firestone and replaced all of the tires and returned home safely. I contacted Tire Kingdom three more times and was advised to return the tires to the Asheville, NC Mavis Tire store for evaluation. The manager, [XXX] and a mechanic inspected all of the tires and immediately stated that all of them were defective.The belt had separated, the sidewall was weak, and the rim/beading was bent. MICHELIN LTX MS/S2 275/70 R18 TIRE WITH LESS THAN 25K HAD TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE OF TREAD SEPARATION. WHILE AT DISCOUNT TIRE, SPOKE WITH ANOTHER CUSTOMER WITH SAME VEHICLE - 2012 INSTEAD OF 2011 F-250 WHO HAD 3 TIRES WITH TREAD SEPARATION ISSUES.
MY FORD WAS PURCHASED AS A ONE OWNER TRUCK WITH 44,000 MILES FROM A DEALERSHIP IN FLORIDA. OWNED BY A PERSON BRAND NEW ALSO IN FLORIDA. I LIVE IN SOUTH WESTERN VA PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT MY BRAKE CALIPERS. I NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS. HUGE DANGER ESPECIALLY WHEN THIS TRUCK IS MADE TO PULL HEAVY WEIGHT THAT NEEDS GOOD BRAKES. WENT TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE, UPON DOING A WALK AROUND I CHECKED THE TIRES AND NOTICED THAT ALL FOR TIRES ON THE VEHICLE HAD SPLITS IN THE SIDEWALLS. THE SPLITS ARE ABOUT A 1/4 TO 1/2" FROM THE EDGE OF THE WHEEL NEAR THE BEAD OF THE TIRE. THE SPLITS ARE NOT CONTINUOUS BUT REACH NEARLY ALL THE WAY AROUND THE TIRE FOLLOWING THE LINE OF THE WHEEL/TIRE BEAD. AT INITIAL INSPECTION IT LOOKED AS IF THE TIRES HAD BEEN CUT, AFTER LOOKING AT ALL FOR TIRES AND ALL OF THEM HAVING THE SAME CRACKS/SPLITS YOU COULD TELL THAT IT WAS NOT CUT AND RATHER THE RUBBER SPLITTING. THE TIRES HAVE NO OTHER DAMAGE TO THE TREAD OR SIDEWALL FROM CURBS AND OR ROCKS/ROUGH ROADS. THE TIRES WERE INSTALLED AND USED FOR APPROX. 4 MONTHS WITH 3,363 MILES PUT ON THEM SINCE INSTALLED. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD F-250 SD EQUIPPED WITH CONTINENTAL CONTITRAC TIRES, SIZE: LT275/65R18. WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, A LOUD ABNORMAL NOISE WAS HEARD FROM THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE TIRE. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT FELT THE TREAD HITTING THE VEHICLE. UPON PULLING THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE TREAD HAD COMPLETELY SEPARATED FROM THE TIRE. THE VEHICLE HAD A SPARE TIRE INSTALLED BY THE TOW COMPANY. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE AND TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 56,000.
WHILE TOWING A TRAVEL TRAILER AT 55 MPH WITH 2011 F250, EXPERIENCED SUDDEN TIRE ROUGHNESS/BOUNCING. TIRES WERE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT WITH APPROX. 10,000 MI. DEALER FOUND BELT SEPARATION IN RIGHT-REAR TIRE. THEN A MONTH LATER, WHILE TRAVELING AT 70 MPH WITH NO LOAD, THE SAME THING HAPPENED AT APPROX. 12,000 MI. DEALER FOUND BELT SEPARATION IN RIGHT-FRONT TIRE. ALL 4 ORIGINAL TIRES AND SPARE WERE FROM SAME LOT. CANNOT TRUST THESE CONTINENTAL TIRES, SO HAVE REPLACED WITH ANOTHER BRAND.

WITHIN TWO WEEKS AND LESS THAN 200 MILES THREE OUT OF FOUR TIRES EXPERIENCED CATASTROPHIC TREAD SPERATION INCLUDING ONE ON HIGHWAY BLOWOUT. THESE TRUCK TIRES HAD LESS THAN 20,000 MILES BUT HAD BEEN USED FOR OFF ROAD TRAVEL.
I HAVE A 2011 FORD F250 SUPER DUTY 28,000 MILES, THE VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH MICHELIN LT275/65R20 TIRES. I RECENTLY NOTICED STRESS CRACKS ALONE THE INNER WALL NEAR THE RIM ON ALL 4 TIRES. THERE IS ALSO CRACKS AROUND THE UPPER PORTION OF THE TIRE AROUND THE TREAD. THROUGH RESEARCH I HAVE LOCATED A SAFETY RECALL FOR THESE TIRES BUT IN THE SIZE OF LT 275/55R20. I HAVE CONTACTED MICHELIN AND WAS TOLD TO PURCHASE NEW TIRES ( $330 X 4 ) AND SEND THESE TIRES TO THEM FOR INSPECTION. THERE IS A POSSIABILITY OF A PRORATION BUT NO GUARANTEE. AS IN THE POSTED SAFETY RECALL THIS HAS THE POTENTIAL TO HAVE A PARTIAL OR FULL LOSS OF AIR MAKING THIS A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN. *TR
IN REFERENCE TO COMPLAINT # 10558358, I LOCATED THE TIRE UNDER MICHELIN NORTH AMERICA. THE INNER WALLS NEAR THE RIM ON ALL FOUR TIRES HAVE MULTIPLE CRACKS. NEAR THE TREAD OF TWO TIRES I HAVE LOCATED ADDITIONAL CRACKS. THESE TIRES ARE ONLY 3 YEARS OLD WITH 28,000 MILES. *TR
TIRE VIBRATION WAS NOTED WHILE DRIVING ON INTERSTATE. STOPPED TO CHECK PRESSURE ON ALL TIRES AND WAS FINE. CHECKED AGAIN A FEW HOURS LATER AND WAS FINE. AFTER DRIVING APPROX 20 MILES DOWN INTERSTATE THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE BLEW CAUSING SEVERE BODY DAMAGE TO 2011 FORD F250 PICKUP. SERVICE TRUCK WAS CALLED TO CHANGE TIRE DUE TO BRING UNABLE TO LOOSEN LUG NUTS. SERVICEMAN ALSO RECONNECTED ANTILOCK BRAKES WHICH CAME UNHOOKED WHEN TIRE BLEW. THE NEXT DAY THE LOCAL TIRE SHOP CHECKED OTHER TIRES AND FOUND THAT THE DRIVERS FRONT TIRE TREAD IS SEPARATING. BETWEEN 14/32-15/32NDS TREAD REAMAINING ON THESE FACTORY TIRES WITH 27000 MILES ON THEM.
FEDERAL 35X12.50R20 COURAGIA M/T TIRES, BOUGHT A SET OF 4 TIRES AT TIRE 59, IN HOUSTON TEXAS, AND 2 OF THE 4 TIRES WITHIN A MONTH GREW BUBBLES AND WERE GOING TO BLOW, ON 2 DIFFERENT INSTANCES. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH WHEN HE FELT A VIBRATION COMING FROM THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE A TECHNICIAN ADVISED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE HAD A BLISTER AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THREE WEEKS LATER, THE CONTACT EXPERIENCED THE SAME FAILURE WITH THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE, WHICH WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND ADVISED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN ANY RECALLS. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE FOR THE VEHICLE AND TIRES WAS 27,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
