I HAVE A 2002 FORD FOCUS, THE BRAKES ARE SHOT ON THIS THING AT ONLY 26000 MILES. CONTACTED FORD ON THE THIS, TO NO AVAIL. DID SOME RESEARCH ON THE WEB AFTER MY CONTACT WITH FORD, AND FOUND THAT THERE ARE HUNDREDS, MAYBE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE. THAT HAVE A FORD FOCUS THAT HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. THERE IS NO WAY A VEHICLE SHOULD HAVE BAD BRAKES AT 26000 MILES. IN SOME CASES AS LOW AS 15000 MILES. FORD DOESN'T SEEM TO CARE TO MUCH ABOUT THIS, AT LEAST THATS THE IMPRESSION THAT I GOT WHEN I TALKED WITH THEM. THERE ANYTHING THAT YOU PEOPLE CAN DO ABOUT IT. *AK
AT 19,000 MILES I HAD TO REPLACE THE FRONT PADS/ROTORS BECAUSE THE PADS WOE OUT AND HAD CHEWED THROUGH THE ROTORS. THIS IS MY WIFE'S CAR, IT'S NOT DRIVEN HARD, AND NOW AT 33,000 MILES I HAVE TO REPLACE THE FRONT AND REAR PADS, HOPEFULLY THAT'S ALL. THIS CAR IS CRAP AND A RIP OFF. *JB
ON SEVERAL SEPARATE OCCASIONS VEHICLE COMMENCED TO ACCELERATE AND LURCH FORWARD WITHOUT WARNING. NO INCIDENT OCCURRED AT THIS TIME. VEHICLE HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM.*AK
WINDSHIELD WIPERS FREQUENTLY FAIL WITHOUT NOTICE DURING RAIN EVENTS DESPITE EXPENSIVE REPAIRS. SOMETIMES I HAVE SMELLED SMOKE AND AM CONCERNED HAVING HEARD THAT THE FOCUS WIPER MOTORS HAVE CAUSED FIRES IN THE PAST. TWO FORD DEALERS HAVE FAILED TO ISOLATE PROBLEM. *AK
WHILE TRAVELING AT 25 MPH VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A COLLISION. THE DRIVER'S AIR BAG DIDN'T DEPLOY. *AK THE VEHICLE WAS DECLARED DEMOLISHED BY THE INSURANCE ADJUSTER. *NM
FUEL DELIVERY MODULE FAILED, BLEW EGR LINE AND LOADED UP REAR EXHAUST BEYOND REPAIR. CAR ONLY HAS 41,000 MILES ON IT. "TOTAL CARE" WARRANTY WON'T COVER ALL OF THIS. *CB
2002 FORD FOCUS ZX5 HATCHBACK MODEL WAS PURCHASED NEW FROM LAFRES FORD. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON AND STAYS ON. VARIOUS ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS HAVE OCCURRED AND VARIOUS PARTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED (DOCUMENTED ON ALL SERVICE REPORTS) THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAS BEEN A PROBLEM FROM DAY ONE AND I HAVE EXPERIENCED OTHER PARTS BURNED AND REPLACED IN THE PAST, IE COOLING FAN HARNESS AND RESISTOR BURNT, BURN SMELL WHEN A/C IS IN USE OR THE HEATOR, REPLACEMENT OF BATTERY. (CAR IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY) I CONTINUALLY TAKE THE CAR BACK AND FORTH TO THE DEALER TO HAVE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CORRECTED. (NO REIMBURSEMENT OF TOLL/BRIDGES AND DAYS OFF FROM WORK TO HAVE THIS CAR PROPERLY SERVICED, NO REIMBURSEMENT OF RENTAL CARS) WHEN I GET THE CAR BACK THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS OFF AND TWO DAYS LATER IT IS BACK ON AGAIN. I PERIODICALLY CALL MY SERVICE ADVISOR AT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT TELLING HIM THAT I JUST PICKED UP THE CAR AND WITHIN 24 HOURS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN. MY SERVICE ADVISOR TELLS ME THAT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING AND I COULD DRIVE AROUND WITH THE LIGHT ONINDEFINETLY ALTHOUGHT THE LIGHT IS A NUISANCE. ON 12/11/03 WHILE DRIVING, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WHICH WAS ALREADY ON, THE BATTERY LIGHT INDICATOR CAME ON, I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE DEALER SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND EXPLAINED TO MY SERVICE ADVISOR OF THE PROBLEM, IT WAS LATE FRIDAY AFTERNOON, HE STATED THAT WAS NOT A GOOD SIGN AND ADVISED ME TO SEEK SERVICE AT A FORD SERVICE STATION. TOOK CAR TO UNIVERSAL FORD. THE CAR BEGAN TO EMIT A BURNING SMELL I ARRIVED AT THE DEALER SERVICE STATIONS AND WAS TOLD THAT MY ALTERNATOR WAS NO GOOD AND THAT THE HARNESS HAND BURNED AND ALL THE WIRES HAD MELTED. THAT IS TRULY AN UNSAFE CAR, THIS PROBLEM COULD HAVE CAUSED THE CAR CATCH ON FIRE AND I COULD HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY INJURED, OR BECOME A FATALITY OR OTHERS COULD HAVE GOTTEN HURT. THE CAR IS CURRENTLY AT THE UNIVERSAL FORD DEALER SERVICE STATION.*AK
WHILE DRIVING REAR WHEEL BEARING VIBRATED,MAKING A LOUD NOISE. DEALERSHIP WAS NOTIFIED, BUT DID NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. *AK
FRONT BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS HAD TO BE REPLACED AFTER ONLY 20,000 MILES OF DRIVING. THE MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH ALL THE FOCUS'S HE HAS SEEN. *LA
WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE, THE CRUISE CONTROL WOULD NOT WORK PROPERLY. THE DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. *PH WHEN THE CONSUMER DISENGAGED THE TRANSMISSION, THE ENGINE BEGAN RACING UNCONTROLLABLY. THE CONSUMER FELT THAT THIS WAS CAUSED BY OMISSION IN THE LOGIC DESIGN OF THE CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM. *SC
MY 2002 ZX3 BEGAN HAVING PROBLEMS AFTER ONLY OWNING THE VEHICLE FOR SIX MONTHS. THE FIRST PROBLEM WAS WITH THE LOCKING MECHANISM WHICH WOULD MAKE A VERY LOUD BUZZING NOISE WHEN THE DOORS WOULD LOCK. THE SECOND PROBLEM BEGAN LAST WINTER WHEN THE CAR WOULD NOT START AFTER SITTING OUTSIDE OVERNIGHT. I HAVE TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP FIVE TIMES OVER THE LAST YEAR FOR THIS PROBLEM AND EACH TIME THEY INFORM ME THAT THE PROBLEM IS FIXED. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM IS NOT FIXED AND MY VEHICLE CONTINUES TO BE UNRELIABLE. *NLM
OUR 2002 FORD FOCUS SE, HAS HAD A SURGING PROBLEM SINCE THE DAY WE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE ON 04/15/02, THE ENGINE SEEMS LIKE IT WANTS TO STALL OUT.LSO WE HAVE A WATER LEAK UNDER THE DASHBOARD, AND WE NEED NEW TIRES. *AK AFTER ONLY 20000 MILES ON THEM.
THERE WAS A BAD ODOR IN THE VEHICLE THAT MADE THE OCCUPANTS SICK. THE SMELL EXISTED EVEN WHEN THE AIR VENTS WERE CLOSED BUT WORSENED WHEN THEY WERE OPEN. THE DEALERSHIP COULD NOT LOCATE THE OF THE ODOR. *NLM

BOLT MOUNTING DRIVER SIDE SEAT TRACKS TO FLOOR PAN LOOSENED. CONTINUED SURGING AND INTERMITTENT STALLING PROBLEM WHILE ACCELERATING AND COMING TO A STOP. *AK
AT ANY SPEED ENGINE CHECK LIGHT CAME ON , AND THEN, ENGINE RUMBLED AND STALLED.VEHICLE STALLED TEN TIMES. A RECALL WAS ISSUED, BUT THIS VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL DUE TO VIN. *AK
INTERMITTENTLY AT ANY SPEED, THE VEHICLE WILL SHIFT OUT OF DRIVE AND INTO NEUTRAL THEN BACK INTO DRIVE. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER SEVEN TIMES FOR THIS PROBLEM. THE DEALER WILL NOT DO ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY CAN NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THE MANUFACTURER IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM.
I BOUGHT THE CAR ON OCT 29, 2002. SINCE DAY ONE THE CAR HAS CONSUMED WAY TOO MUCH GAS. IT IS OUTRAGEOUS! IT HAS BECOME A MORTGAGE PMT! MY CAR PMT IS $344 A MONTH I PAY THE SAME IN GAS A MONTH. I USE TO OWN A 1993 FORD ESCORT,STICK,4 CYC AND NEVER DID I EVER SPEND SO MUCH GAS. I AM 49 YRS OLD, DON?T SPEED, AND KNOW THE DIFFERENCE. I HAVE ALSO OWNED MANY STICK,4 CYL CARS AND NONE HAVE EVER SPEND SO MUCH GAS. THERE HAS GOT TO BE A PROBLEM WITH THE CAR IN THAT RESPECT. SECOND: A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO THE "CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT CAME ON, EVER SINCE THEN, MY CAR WON'T START IN THE MORNINGS, AND WHEN IT HAS BEEN SITTING FOR A AWHILE. I HAVE BROUGHT MY CAR TO THE DEALER 4 TIMES ALREADY, THEY HAVE CHANGED THE FUEL PUMP 3 TIMES, STILL HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM, THIS LAST TIME IN WHICH I PICKED UP THE CAR YESTERDAY, NOV. 11, NOTHING WAS DONE! I ASK QUESTIONS BUT ALL I GET IS THERE IS NOTHING WRONG! BUT SOMETHING IS HAPPENING...NOWADAYS, EVERYTHING IS COMPUTERIZED, ONE THING GOES BAD AND IT AFFECTS THE ENTIRE CAR. SUDDEN ACCELERATION OF VEHICLE WHILE PULLING INTO A LEVEL PARKING STALL AT A SHOPPING MALL. VEHICLE COLLIDED INTO A PLANTER HEAD ON AND THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY *LA *MR
THE IGNITION LOCK CYLINDER LOCKED UP, MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO START THE CAR.THE IGNITION KEY WILL NOT TURN THE LOCK.IF THE CAR IS TOWED IN IT CREATES A PROBLEM IN THAT THE CAR STAYS IN PARK AND IF TOWED INCORRECTLY WILL DAMAGE THE TRANSMISSION.FORD MOTOR VIEWS THIS AS NATURAL WEAR AND TEAR. *AK
2002 FORD FOCUS SE WAGON NOTICED RAIN WATER LEAKING INTO PASSENGER COMPARTMENT VIA HEATING/COOLING COWLING ON PASSENGER SIDE WETTING FLOOR MAT SIGNIFICANTLY TILL THE POINT IT WAS COMPLETELY SOGGY. CHECKED GRILL BETWEEN HOOD AND WINDSHIELD AND NOTED NO LEAVES BLOCKING DRAINS. NOTED RUBBER DAM NOT CONTINUOUS, AND WATER APPEARED TO BE LEAKING INTO ENGINE COMPARTMENT VIA ONE OF THESE GAPS AND THEN INTO THE HEATING/COOLING COWLING ALONG TOP SURFACE OF REAR OF ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE FIT BETWEEN THE COWLING AND THE 'FIREWALL' AT THE BACK OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT IS NOT GOOD, AND THERE ARE GAPS ALONG THE ENTIRE TOP SURFACE ALLOWING WATER TO DRAIN IN. *LA
WHILE DRIVING I LOST ALL POWER TO THE CAR. IT COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN AND I COULD NOT START IT. IT HAS BEEN TOWED TO DEALERSHIP TO BE FIXED TWICE. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS CAR WITH MY KIDS IN IT. I DON'T THINK THE PROBLEM IS FIXED AND I'M WAITING FOR THIS TO HAPPEN AGAIN. NOW I NEED TO TAKE IT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN BECAUSE THERE IS A BAD VIBRATION IN THE FRONT END. I HAD IT THERE PREVIOUSLY FOR THIS ALSO, AND THEY SAID IT NEEDED THE TIRES ROTATED AND BALANCED. EVEN THOUGH IT IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY, THEY CHARGED ME $36.00....THE VIBRATION IS WORSE NOW SO OBVIOUSLY THAT WASN'T THE PROBLEM. OH I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT THE TRUNK WON'T LATCH PROPERLY AND THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS WON'T GO THE WHOLE WAY DOWN WHEN YOU TURN THEM OFF. THIS CAR IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE. THE DEALERSHIP ACTS LIKE THEY HAVEN'T HAD ANY COMPLAINTS WITH THIS CAR! *LA

WATER ON PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR WHEN RAINS. *LA
FRONT END MADE A VERY LOUD CLANGING NOISE LASTED ABOUT 10 MINUTES, PULLED OFF HIGHWAY LOOKED UNDER VEHICLE COULD NOT SEE ANYTHING WRONG, ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS WHILE DRIVING BETWEEN 55-65 MPH CAR WOULD JERK VERY BAD, DEALER COULD NOT SOLVE OR FIND A PROBLEM, VEHICLE AT REPAIR SHOP NOW. *LA
WHILE DRIVING APPLIED THE BRAKES AND PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR AND THERE WERE NO BRAKES. AS RESULT, CONSUMER'S VEHICLE COLLIDED WITH A GUARD RAIL. DEALER COULD NOT DUPLICATE OR CORRECT THE PROBLEM. *AK
WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH WITH CRUISE CONTROL ON THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT RESTART. CONSUMER MANAGED TO PULL OVER, AND LEFT VEHICLE OVER NIGHT. THE VEHICLE STARTED UP THE NEXT DAY WITH NO PROBLEM. DEALERSHIP WAS NOTIFIED BUT THE PROBLEM WAS NOT RESOLVED.*AK
ENGINE STALLED AFTER I HAD DRIVEN TWO MILES WITH NO WARNING. I HAD JUST DOWN-SHIFTED INTO 2ND GEAR AS I WAS SLOWING TO MAKE A TURN AND THE CAR STALLED ACROSS TWO TRAFFIC LANES AND WOULD NOT RESTART. THE OIL LIGHT, BATTERY LIGHT, AND ONE OTHER LIGHT CAME ON (ALTERNATOR I THINK). THE CAR WAS MANUALLY PUSHED OUT OF TRAFFIC LANES IN NEUTRAL GEAR BY TWO MOTORISTS WHO STOPPED TO HELP. THEY WERE ALSO UNABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. AFTER APPROXIMATELY 10 MINUTES THE ENGINE STARTED. I HAD THE CAR TOWED AND AFTER 5 DAYS THE DEALERSHIP STILL CANNOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG. APPARENTLY THE ONBOARD COMPUTER DID NOT CAPTURE THE PROBLEM. I AM EXTREMELY CONCERNED BECAUSE THE CAR STALLED WITHOUT WARNING AT APPROXIMATELY 25 MILES AN HOUR. HAD I BEEN ON THE INTERSTATE AS SCHEDULED (I WAS RUNNING LATE AND HAD TO DROP MY DAUGHTER OFF BEFORE GOING HOME TO PICK UP MY LAPTOP) I WOULD ALMOST CERTAINLY HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT BECAUSE I HAD NO TIME TO MANEUVER OUT OF TRAFFIC AFTER THE ENGINE STALLED. IT WAS 75 DEGREE DAY (MONDAY 11/3/03) SO OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN A FACTOR. *LA
CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER LEAKS CLUTCH FLUID. FLUID RUNS DOWN STEM OF CLUTCH PEDAL, LOOSENING THE RUBBER PEDAL PAD, WHICH PROCEEDS TO FALL OFF IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS WHILE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION.*AK
CAR WILL RANDOMLY NOT START. THIS OCCURS BOTH WHEN ENGINE HAS BEEN COLD FOR SEVERAL HOURS AND AFTER ENGINE HAS BEEN RUNNING A WHILE AND THEN SHUT OFF AND RESTARTED. CAR WILL EVENTUALLY START USUALLY AFTER WAITING ABOUT 30-40 MINUTES. DEALER SAYS CANNOT REPLICATE PROBLEM BUT THEY WILL NOT KEEP IT LONG ENOUGH TO REALLY TRY. IF WE WERE TO TOW TO DEALER, CAR WOULD BE STARTING BY THE TIME IT GOT THERE. OCCURS AT RANDOM, ABOUT 1-3 TIMES PER MONTH SINCE NOVEMBER 2003. HAS BEEN TO DEALERSHIP 2 TIMES. FIRST TIME, LOOSE WIRE IN STEERING COLUMN WAS CORRECTED BUT THEY SAID NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH CAR. SECOND TIME THEY REPLACED A PART IN IGNITION SWITCH BUT SAID NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH IT TO START WITH. STILL HAVING NO-START PROBLEM. RETURNING TO DEALERISHIP TOMORROW.*AK
WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED VEHICLE HESITATED AND TOOK A DIP FORWARD AND DOWN TO THE GROUND. THEN, IT ACCELERATED AS IF NOTHING HAPPENED. CONSUMER'S DAUGHTER EXPERIENCED THE SAME THING WHILE DRIVING AND LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE WHICH LANDED IN A DITCH. CONSUMER'S DAUGHTER SUSTAINED BACK INJURIES. CONSUMER WORE SEAT BELTS. HOWEVER, AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. *AK
THE MILEAGE ON MY FOCUS WAS 47000 KM AND THE COST WAS $5500.00. THE DATE WAS JULY BUT I AM AT WORK AND NOT SURE OF EXACTLY WHAT DAY. MY FOCUS WAS MAKING A CLUNKING SOUND SIMILAR IN NATURE TO TRACTION CONTROL KICKING IN. IT WAS IN TO BE SERVICED ON A FRIDAY AND THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT REPEAT THE SOUND. ALSO AT THAT TIME IT WAS HAVING REGULAR MAINTENANCE TIRE ROTATION AND OIL CHANGE. ON THE FOLLOWING TUESDAY DRIVING IN THE TOWN I LIVE IN (LUCKILY THE SPEED LIMIT IS ONLY 30 KM/HR) I EXPERIENCED THE STEERING WHEEL PULL TO THE RIGHT AND I HAD HIT A PARKED CAR. HAD I BEEN ON THE HIGHWAY ME AND MY 2 CHILDREN WOULD HAVE BEEN A FATALITY. THE COST QOUTED TO YOU OF 5500.00 IS NOT INCLUDING THE COST TO FIX THE OTHER VEHICLE. AS WELL FORD MOTOR CO. IS TAKING NO RESPONSILBILTY WHATSOEVER AND I NEED PROOF TO GET MY INSURANCE CO TO FIND FAULT TO SOMEONE OTHER THAN MYSELF.
ALL FOUR STUDS ON THE RIGHT FRONT BROKE OFF AND CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE BRAKES, FRONT BUMPER, ALONG WITH A FEW OTHER THINGS. THE DEALER SAID IT WAS MY FAULT BECAUSE I HAD A MECHANIC BESIDES THEM CHANGE THE BRAKES ON IT. I HAD MY 2 MONTH BABY NIECE IN THE BACK ALONG WITH 3 OTHER PEOPLE. THE OTHER PROBLEM I HAVE IS THE SEAL ON THE WINDSHIELD IS COMING OUT NEAR THE ROOF.
THE FRONT DRIVER'S WHEEL BEARING AND HUB WENT OUT AT ABOUT 7,000. THE CAR MADE A VERY LOUD NOISE. FORD REPAIRED THIS PROBLEM. CAR HAD TO HAVE BRAKE PADS AT 28,000 MILES. THE WEAR ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT WAS MUCH WORST THAN THE OTHERS. REPAIR PERSON SAID THAT THE CALIPERS WERE DEFECTIVE. COST 100. DOLLARS. THE FRONT PASSENGER'S SIDE WHEEL BEARING AND HUB WENT OUT AT 29,000. I PAID FOR REPAIR OF WHEEL $150. I WAS TOLD THAT THE DRIVER'S SIDE WAS GOING OUT AGAIN. THERE IS OBVIOUSLY A PROBLEM WITH THE FRONT SUSPENSION OF THIS CAR. I AM NOW FACED WITH REPAIRS OF THE OTHER SIDE FOR A SECOND TIME AND THE CAR IS ONLY 18 MONTHS OLD. I AM WORRIED THAT THE WHEELS WILL COME OFF.
THERE IS A LINE THAT WENT STRAIGHT INTO THE ENGINE'S INTAKE THAT HAS BEEN LEAKING FLUID SINCE 2,000 MILES AND WAS INSPECTED BY DELER WHO TOLD TO ME THAT IT WAS NOTHING. BUT THE ENGINE CASE SHOULD NOT HAVE A LARGE LEAK OF FLUID THAT SOON. FINALLY NOW, THEY HAVE DONE SOMETHING ON THIS AND REPLACED THE HOSE, AS IT WAS SEEN ONCE MORE AND KNOWS OF ALL THE TIMES REPORTED. I HOPE THIS IS JUST NOT A EASY FIX OR THIS NOW HASN'T CAUSED ANY DAMANGE TO THE INSIDE OF THE ENGINE ITSELF, AS THE ENGINE HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP FOR RIDING ROUGH. THEY TOLD ME LAST TIME THAT THE PART OF THE TRANSMISSION THAT WAS FIXED WOULD FIX THIS. I THINK IT IS DUE TO THE OIL LEAK ON THE TOP OF THE ENGINE CASE SINCE IT WAS NEW. A NEW CAR SHOULD NEVER HAVE A OIL LEAK ON A ENGINE CASE.
MY CAR JUST DIES WHEN I AM DRIVING. THE LIGHTS IN MY DASH ALL LIGHT UP, MY POWER STEERING GOES OUT, AND MY CAR JUST TURNS OFF WHILE I AM DRIVING. THIS HAS HAPPENED AT LEAST 7 TIMES. I HAVE ALREADY TAKEN IT IN 4 TIMES TO GET IT FIXED. *LA

WHILE SLOWING DOWN DUE TO INTENSE TRAFFIC ON A HIGHWAY WE WERE VIOLENTLY HIT BY A CAR DRIVING BEHIND US. THE IMPACT WAS SO GREAT THAT THE CAR WAS DEMOLISHED - THE BOTTOM REAR OF THE CAR AND TIRES WERE TOTALLY CRUSHED, THE ROOF WAS BENT IN THE MIDDLE, ALL WINDOWS BURST, AND DOORS WERE JAMBED SHUT. WE WERE PUSHED INTO THE CAR AHEAD OF US. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT INFLATE. PASSENGER SUSTAINED FACIAL INJURIES AND DRIVER SUSTAINED INJURIES TO CHEST. WE DO NOT BELIEVE THE SEAT BELTS CONSTRAINED US IN THIS CRASH. *AK
I PURCHASED A 2002 FORD FOCUS ZTS AND THE FACTORY INSTALLED TIRES HAD PROBLEMS STARTING WITH THE 2ND TIRE ROTATION AT 12,000 MILES. THE CAR WAS SERVICED AT A FIRESTONE DEALER AND THE 18,000 MILE ROTATION THE MANAGER RECOMMENDED THAT THE TIRE WEAR WAS SO BAD THAT ROTATING THE TIRES WOULD CAUSE EXCESSIVE ROAD NOISE AND TO LEAVE THEM WHERE THEY WERE AT. I COMPLAINED TO THE FORD MOTOR DEALERSHIP AND THEY DID NOTHING, EVEN FORD MOTOR'S CUSTOMER CARE TOLL FREE SERVICE SAID THEY COULD DO NOTHING. THE CAR HAS ONLY 21,000 TODAY AND THE TIRES SOUND LIKE I AM RIDING ON WOODEN TIRES. *NM
