18S32 MANUFACTURER RECALL & 18V735 NHTSA RECALL. THIS RECALL WAS FIRST POSTED APPROXIMATELY 8.5 MONTHS AGO AND I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT BRINGING IT IN FOR REPAIR. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN AND I HAVE A CHILD I TRANSPORT IN IT DAILY. I WANT AND NEED THIS RECALL RESOLVED ASAP AS I WILL SOON BE TRANSPORTING ANOTHER YOUNG CHILD. I CAN FEEL IT ACTING FUNNY AS IF SOMETHING ISN'T MOVING PROPERLY OR IT IS STALLING LIKE IT ISN'T GETTING FUEL WHEN I AM MOVING WHETHER IT'S SLOW FAST, SHORT DISTANCE OR LONG DISTANCE AND HAS BEEN HAPPENING MORE AND MORE CONSISTENTLY FOR THE LAST MONTH OR TWO
I PAID $2,373.20 FOR REPAIRS TO THE CLUTCHES/TRANSMISSION FOR OUR DAUGHTER'S 2015 FORD FOCUS. ACCORDING TO THE DETROIT FREE PRESS, FORD HAS INSTRUCTED ITS DEALERS TO PAY FOR THESE EXACT REPAIRS, AFTER WE HAD ALREADY PAID FOR OUR REPAIRS. MY VEHICLE SHUTTERS AT LOW SPEEDS WHEN PUSHING ON ACCELERATOR, ESPECIALLY AFTER STOPPING AS AT A STOPLIGHT. FORD HAS REPLACED THE CLUTCH ONCE ALREADY FOR THIS PROBLEM. HOWEVER THE PROBLEM HAS SURFACED AGAIN. NOW, WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY THE RPMS WILL ESCALATE FOR NO APPARENT REASON. ALSO THE TRANSITION FROM ONE GEAR TO ANOTHER SEEMS AS IF IT IS SLIPPING OR MISSING, AT ANY SPEED. FORD DEALER LOOKED AT IT AND SAID THE CLUTCH NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AGAIN. THE PRICE IS $1253.00.
I HAVE PICK UP ISSUES DUE TO RECALLED FUEL CPV. I HAVE TO MAINTAIN ABOVE 1/2 TANK OF GAS OR ELSE THE FUEL GAUGE DOES NOT REGISTER CORRECTLY CAUSING ME TO RUN OUT OF GAS BEFORE THE GAUGE REGISTERS EMPTY. THIS HAS HAPPENED WHILE I WAS IN TRANSIT. THE CAR HAS STALLED WHILE IN TRAFFIC. IT IS VERY DANGEROUS. ALSO,THE CAR WILL SPUTTER AND BACKFIRE DUE TO VAPORS GATHERING AT DANGEROUS LEVELS IN TANK.THE MANUFACTURER NOTIFIED ME OF THIS RECALL BACK IN JANUARY AND STILL DOES NOT HAVE REPLACEMENT PART AVAILABLE TO DO RECALL REPAIR. I UTILIZE MY VEHICLE TO TRANSPORT MY MOTHER WHO IS ON OXYGEN. I FEEL VERY UNSAFE DOING SO BECAUSE OF BACKFIRING,STALLING,ETC ;SO I HAVE BEEN HAVING TO SPEND TONS OF EXTRA MONEY ARRANGING FOR ALTERNATE TRANSPORT. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. OVER 6 MONTHS TO MANUFACTURE A REPLACEMENT PART? I WANT THIS PART REPLACED BEFORE A WORSE INCIDENT IS CAUSED BY THIS PROBLEM.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SUBURBAN FORD OF WATERFORD (248-674-4781, LOCATED AT 6975 HIGHLAND RD, WATERFORD, MI 48327) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE CONTACT WAS REFERRED TO NHTSA. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 53,000.
SEVERAL TIMES WHEN STARTING THE VEHICLE, I WAS UNABLE TO TURN THE STREERING WHEEL. IT WOULD FLASH A MESSAGE SAYING STEERING ASSIST FAILURE. THE POWER STEERING RACK AND PINION HAS TO BE REPLACED ON A CAR THAT IS 4 YEARS OLD. IT'S COSTING ME 2,000.
UPON ACCELERATION MY CAR WILL SKIP AND JUMP. I AM TOLD BY A FORD DEALERSHIP THAT THE CLUTCH HAS TO BE REPLACED AND STOP AT ANY POINT WHILE DRIVING. I'VE REACHED AND FOUND OUT THE SAME MAKE, MODEL, YEAR HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.COSTING $1980.00 IN REPAIRS. IT'S A SAFETY ISSUE , IT SHOULD BE A RECALL ISSUE.REPAIRS ON SAME TYPE OF CAR ARE BEING DONE WEEKLY 2 TO 3 AT A TIME.

ALSO, AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS REFUELED, IT WOULD NOT IMMEDIATELY RESTART. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HAASZ AUTOMALL OF RAVENNA (4886 OH-59, RAVENNA, OH 44266, 330-296-2866) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE O2 SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE FAILURE WAS REPAIRED FOR $500; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED WHILE DRIVING AWAY. NICK MAYER FORD (6200 MAYFIELD RD, MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, OH 44124, (440) 449-1000( WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THERE WAS AN UNKNOWN RECALL REGARDING THE FUEL TANK. THE CONTACT PAID $200 FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST, BUT NO FAILURE WAS FOUND. THE FAILURE RECURRED AND THE CONTACT FILED A COMPLAINT WITH EITHER ONE OF THE DEALERS OR THE MANUFACTURER. THE CONTACT WAS PROVIDED A LOANER VEHICLE FROM THE HAASZ DEALER. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO ANOTHER UNKNOWN FORD DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THAT NICK MAYER FORD SHOULD NOT HAVE CLOSED THE RECALL FOR THE FUEL TANK BECAUSE THERE WAS STILL AN ISSUE. THE RECALL WOULD NEED TO BE RE-ISSUED IN ORDER FOR THE VEHICLE TO BE REPAIRED. THE CONTACT WAS CURRENTLY WAITING FOR THE MANUFACTURER TO APPLY THE RECALL BACK ON HER VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 41,500.

FURTHERMORE, THE TPMS AND WINDSHIELD WIPER FLUID LOW WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MATTHEWS FORD (175 E MAIN ST, NORWICH, NY 13815, (607) 334-3273) WHO STATED THAT THE RECALL REMEDY WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE CLUTCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO THE DEALER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000.
MY 2015 FORD FOCUS STARTED SHUDDERING IN ITS SHIFTING ABOUT A A YEAR AFTER I GOT THE CAR USED IN 2018, IT'S ALOT WORSE NOW. I'VE TAKEN IT TO THE FORD DEALERSHIP TWICE AND WAS REFUSED...THEY DID A RESET OF SOME SORT BEFORE THEY TEST DROVE IT AND IT DIDNT SEEM TO SHUDDER LIKE IT DOES WITH ME, THE FORD EMPLOYEE EXPLAINED TO ME MY CAR DIDNT QUITE MEET THE MARK TO WHERE THEY CAN OFFER ME THE REPAIR. AFTER THIS I THOUGHT ALRIGHT HE RESET SOMETHING AND NOW MY CAR IS A LITTLE BETTER...COUPLE HUNDRED MILES LATER IT'S BACK REAL BAD FROM START TILL 3RD GEAR EVERY GEAR SHUDDERING AND STUDDERING JUMPING SHAKING VIOLENTLY, I TOOK IT BACK TO THEM, SAMETHING...IF I DO THIS AGAIN I'LL GET IT IN WRITING THAT FORD STATES MY VEHICLE IS FINE AND GO AHEAD AND GET A LAWSUIT GOING.

THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE SHE HAD THE CANISTER PURGE VALVE REPLACED. UPON INVESTIGATION, THE CONTACT LINKED THE FAILURE TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V735000(FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE) HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND OFFERED HER A TRADE FOR THE VEHICLE WHICH SHE DECLINED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 39,040.
BOUGHT FORD FOCUS 2015 ON 02/25/2019 AT DRIVE TIME. DURING THE PROCESS, THEY TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE ENGINE STALLING BUT THE ISSUE DIDN'T INVOLVE ANY FURTHER ACTION. IT ONLY TOOK ME 3 WEEKS TO START HAVING ENGINE STALL WHILE DRIVING OR AT STOP LINE WITHOUT ANY CAUTION WARNING. ALSO HAVE ENGINE CAUTION ON THE DASHBOARD ON 04/24/2019.

CAR CONSTANTLY HAS ISSUES STUTTERING WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE. IT CAUSES SHAKING IN THE CAR AND ONLY LIGHTLY LESSENS WHEN THE GAS TANK IS OVER HALFWAY FULL AND/OR HAS A RECENT OIL CHANGE. ALREADY HAD A FEW PARTS REPLACED CONCERNING THE CPV BECAUSE THE GAS PEDAL CEASED FUNCTIONING WHILST DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE. I'VE GOTTEN THE RECALL NOTICE LETTER BUT NO FULL SOLUTION HAS BEEN OFFERED YET.

I WAS DRIVING TO WORK JUST GOTTEN OFF THE FREEWAY IN THE CITY OF CERRITOS AND ALL OF A SUDDEN A WARNING CAME ON AND SAID STEERING LOSS STOP SAFELY AND THEN IT LOCKED UP AND PULLED TO THE RIGHT. I ALMOST HIT THE CAR NEXT TO ME BUT WAS LUCKY. I WAS ABLE TO GET IT TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD USING ALL MY STRENGTH BUT IT WAS TERRIFYING AND SOMEONE COULD HAVE REALLY BEEN INJURED OR WORSE. I HAVE ONLY HAD IT 2 AND 1/2 YEARS

WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE FROM STOP MY CAR SPUTTERS/ STUTTERS AND TRIES TO STALL OUT. IT ALSO HAS SOMETHING WRONG IN THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM THAT HAS CAUSED MY STEREO AND OTHER FUNCTIONS TO NO LONGER WORK
THERE IS AN ACTIVE RECALL ON MY VEHICALE FOR CPAV VALVE. MY CAR IS EXPERIENCING ALL SYMPTOMS OF THE RECALL, BUT THE DEALERSHIP IS TELLING ME I MIGHT NOT BE COVERED BECAUSE MY VEHICLE PASSED A TEST A FEW MONTHS AGO WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN FOR ANOTHER ISSUE (THE TRANSMISSION, WHICH WAS UNDER WARRANTY). THEY SAY THEY ARE WAITING TO HEAR BACK FROM FORD FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTION, BUT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR MORE THAN 2 DAYS WITH NO RESPONSE.
PURCHASED 2015 FORD FOCUS IN AUG 2018 USED, BEEN DRIVING FINE FOR 8 MONTHS; CAR HAS LESS THAT 30,000 MILES. ON 4/10/19, I STARTED THE VEHICLE AND THE DASH INDICATED A STEERING FAULT ASSIST WARNING WHILE STATIONARY IN A LEVEL PARKING RAMP. NO POWER STEERING ALL OF A SUDDEN. CALLED COURTESY FORD IN DAVENPORT IOWA ON 4/11/19. SERVICE DEPARTMENT THERE STATED THEY THINK FORD SHOULD RECALL AS HE (GARRETT) HAD THREE FOCUS' WITH SAME ISSUE-ONE WAS IN THE SHOP AT THAT MOMENT TO HAVE THE ENTIRE STEERING RACK REPLACED AT APPROXIMATE COST OF $2,500. THAT IS ONE QUARTER OF WHAT I PAID FOR THE CAR. 4/11/19 & 4/12/19, CALLED COURTESY IN MOLINE ILLINOIS WHERE I PURCHASED THE CAR, AND NO RESPONSE/CALL BACK. TOOK CAR TO AUTOZONE IN ROCK ISLAND ON 4/11/19 AND THE TECH THERE SAID HE HAS SEEN SEVERAL OF THESE FAULTS AND THINKS A RECALL IS COMING. DID RESEARCH ONLINE AND NOTICED RECALL 15S18 FOR SAME ISSUE ON FORDS FROM 2011-2014 DUE TO FAULTY POWER CONTROL MODULE SYSTEM. 4/12/19 FILED COMPLAINT CAS17644387 WITH FORD DIRECTLY. INTERNET SEARCH INDICATED THE STEERING ASSIST FAULT HAS OCCURRED WHILE THE CAR WAS IN MOTION-LUCKILY, I WAS PARKED.I HAVE A CAR THAT IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE AND THINK, BASED ON THE POINTS NOTED, THIS SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED.
WHEN PUTTING MY 2015 FORD FOCUS IN REVERSE FROM PARK IT WENT FORWARD. I REPEATED THIS ACTION 3 TIMES BEFORE IT FINALLY REVERSED! I COULD HAVE GONE DOWN INTO A RAVINE! TOOK THE FORD FOCUS TO RIVERTOWN FORD AND THEY HAD THE CAR FOR 3 DAYS BUT COULD NOT "DUPLICATE" THE COMPLAINT SO THEY COULD NOT FIX IT UNDER WARRANTY. ALSO, THE TRANSMISSION JERKS FORWARD WHEN PUT IN MOTION AND SHAKES WHEN SLOWING DOWN.
MY 2015 FORD FOCUS HAS BEEN HAVING STALLING ISSUES. MY VIN# IS ON THE RECALL LIST AND THE LETTER THAT I RECEIVED FROM 12/2018 ADVISED THAT I KEEP AT LEAST HALF A TANK OF GAS IN MY CAR. HOWEVER, MY CAR STALLS EVEN WHEN I KEEP A FULL TANK. MY CAR ALSO SHUDDERS AND SOMETIMES EVEN TURNS OFF AFTER I FILL MY GAS TANK. WHEN MY CAR IS ABOUT TO STALL, I SEE THAT THE TACHOMETER WILL SUDDENLY FLUCTUATE AND THEN SIMPLY DROP TO ZERO. THIS USUALLY HAPPENS WHEN I'M ABOUT TO COME TO A STOP BUT OCCASIONALLY OCCURS WHEN I'M SIMPLY DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. MY CAR NOW STALLS ON A DAILY BASIS. I HAVE CALLED THE FORD MOTOR COMPANY THREE TIMES IN THE LAST 30 DAYS AND TOLD THEM WHAT IS HAPPENING AND HOW UNSAFE IT IS TO DRIVE A CAR IN THIS WAY. EACH TIME I AM TOLD THAT THEY DON'T KNOW WHEN THE PARTS WILL ARRIVE TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIRS, EVEN THOUGH MY RECALL LETTER SAID BY THE END OF THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2019. I TOOK MY CAR TO MY MECHANIC AND THEY ALSO STATED THAT MY STALLING ISSUES ARE MOST LIKELY RELATED TO THE RECALL. I NO LONGER DRIVE MY CAR ON THE HIGHWAY AND TRY TO MAINLY STICK TO DRIVING ON BACKROADS WHERE POSSIBLE DUE TO FEARS OF STALLING AND POSSIBLY GETTING INTO AN ACCIDENT BUT THIS IS A HIGHLY IRRESPONSIBLE SITUATION FROM FORD. ASSISTANCE WOULD BE GREATLY GREATLY APPRECIATED. I PROVIDED THE DATE OF 4/6/19 AS THE DATE OF MY CAR STALLING BUT, AS I STATED EARLIER, THIS HAPPENS DAILY AND IS UNSAFE.

WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND TOOK NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS TO RESTART. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
OUR DAUGHTER'S TRUNK ON HER 2015 FORD FOCUS HATCHBACK WILL NOT OPEN, THERE IS NO EMERGENCY RELEASE IN THE TRUNK SPACE TO RELEASE THE TRUNK THAT IS REQUIRED BY A 2001 LAW. TOOK THE CAR TO AN AUTO BODY SHOP AND THEY WERE CONFUSED AND TOLD US THEY COULD TRY TO OPEN IT, BUT COULD NOT GIVE US A GUARANTEE. FORD DEALERSHIP TELLS US THERE SHOULD BE AN EMERGENCY RELEASE, THAT WE NEED TO BRING THE CAR IN. WE CAN CLEARLY SEE IN THE BACK OF THE CAR THAT NO SUCH GLOW IN THE DARK PIECE IS THERE. I CALLED FORD CORPORATE AND THEY SAID IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE OUR VEHICLE HAS THE EMERGENCY RELEASE. I READ THE DESCRIPTION ON THE NTSB WEBSITE ABOUT PASSENGER VEHICLES WITH TRUNKS BEING REQUIRED TO HAVE IT. HOW DO WE PROCEED TO MAKE CERTAIN OUR DAUGHTER'S VEHICLE IS SAFE AND THAT THE TRUNK IS USABLE?
I WAS DRIVING MY CAR AS NORMAL AND PULLED IN TO PARK. I REVERSED AND TRIED TO GO FORWARD BUT THE CAR WOULDN'T BUDGE. STEERING WHEEL IS LOUD AND HARD TO STEER. MECHANICS WHO HAVE LOOKED AT IT SAID THE STEERING RACK AND PINION HAD TO BE REPLACED AND THAT THERE WAS NO REASON A CAR THIS NEW SHOULD HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THE STEERING RACK.
STEERING TIGHTENED UP WHILE MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE. SHE BARELY MANAGED TO PULL INTO THE NEAREST PARKING LOT. THEN THIS MESSAGE APPEARED ON THE DASH: STEERING LOSS. STOP SAFELY. COULD NOT STEER THE VEHICLE. HAD TO GET IT TOWED TO THE FORD DEALER. THEY NOTED: FOUND STEERING GEAR BINDING INTERNALLY. REPLACED STEERING GEAR. THE COST OF THE REPAIR WAS $2,109. THE CAR IS ONLY 4 YEARS WITH 43K MILES AND SHOULD NOT REQUIRE SUCH A MAJOR REPAIR. I BELIEVE THIS WAS A MANUFACTURERS DEFECT IN THE PART ITSELF. WE WILL NOT BE BUYING ANY MORE FORDS IN THE FUTURE. I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THIS VEHICLE AND FUTURE ISSUES WE ARE GOING TO HAVE WITH IT.
MY 18 YR OLD SON WAS DRIVING TO COLLEGE WHEN THE STEERING STIFFENED UP AND MADE HIM SWERVE, ALMOST GOING INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC, AS HE LOST COMPLETE POWER STEERING. MY WIFE CALLED AND WAS TOLD BY A FORD REP THAT THEY ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH ANY REPORTED INCIDENTS. WE PAID FOR A REPLACEMENT PART AND THE ERROR WAS FIXED. JUST YESTERDAY 3/16/19 THIS HAPPENED AGAIN WITH MY 2YEAR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER IN THE BACKSEAT. I'M FAMILIAR HOW TO DRIVE A VEHICLE WITH NO POWER STEERING BUT THIS IS FAR WORSE. THE DASHBOARD SHOWED THE ALERT 'STEERING LOSS STOP SAFELY'. THE STEERING WAS COMPLETELY LOCKED UP AND I WAS UNABLE TO TURN FOR A FEW SECONDS. I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY AND STARTING DRIFTING INTO THE RIGHT LANE WITH NO STEERING CONTROL. THERE WAS MEDIUM TRAFFIC SO I WAS CONCERNED I'D HIT A CAR. I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO PULL THE STEERING WHEEL HARD ENOUGH TO STEER BACK IN MY LANE, HOWEVER ALL STEERING WAS HARD AND MADE ME SWERVE. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP THE CAR STRAIGHT. THIS IS A DANGEROUS ISSUE. UPON DOING SOME RESEARCH ONLINE, I'VE UNCOVERED MANY OTHERS WHO'VE EXPERIENCED THIS ISSUE AND SOME HAVE GOTTEN INTO WRECKS AND ONE DIED. WHY IS THIS NOT A RECALL? THE OFFICER WHO REPORTED TO THE SCENE OF COLLISION ISSUED ME A MOVING VIOLATION TICKET VIA MAIL WITH REASON OF WRONG TURN FROM PARK NOT KNOWING THE REAL STEERING WHEEL MECHANICAL FAILURE. I PAID THE TICKET TO AVOID LATE FEES AND FINES.
I'M HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY FORD FOCUS 2015 (75000 MILES). WHEN ACCELERATING QUICKLY INTO AN INTERSECTION, THERE IS A DELAY IN ACCELERATION. BOUGHT MY CAR FROM A DEALERSHIP IN 2015. THEY DIDNT MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT ANY PROBLEMS MY CAR MIGHT HAVE. IT WAS THE PERFECT CAR. I DROVE 6 HOURS TO GET THIS CAR. ON MY WAY HOME I NOTICE THE SHUDDER AND VIBRATION. NEVER HAVE I FELT THIS BEFORE. WE TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY RESET THE PERIMETERS AND TOLD US TO DRIVE IT HARD THAT THESE CARS NEEDED TO ADJUST TO THE WAY WE WERE DRIVING IT. IT WAS STILL UNDER MY EXTENDED WARRANTY. FAST FORWARD TO OUR TRIP TO COLORADO/VEGAS. TRACTION CONTROL WAS NEEDED YET IT SMELT LIKE WIRE BURNING. TURNED IT OFF. WE WENT TO THE HOLLYWOOD SIGN FOR PICS AND THE CAR WOULDN'T EVEN BACK UP THE HILL. ALL IT WOULD DO WAS GO FORWARD.. TOOK IT BACK TO THE SHOP AGAIN THEY SAID IT WAS THE CLUTCH AND IT NEEDED REPLACED. IT WAS ONLY 300 MILES OUT OF WARRANTY AT THIS TIME AND THEY WOULDNT FIX IT.

THE FORD FOCUS RECALL FOR THE FUEL TANK DEFORMATION IS NOT ACCURATE. THE RECALL LETTER WE RECEIVED SAID TO MAINTAIN AT LEAST 1/2 TANK OF FUEL, BUT MY CAR HAS SHUT DOWN MULTIPLE TIMES WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND AT TURNAROUNDS DESPITE HAVING A FULL TANK. THE SOLUTION TO THIS WAS PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED FOR DECEMBER 2018 AND HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2019. FORD NEEDS TO BE FURTHER PRESSURED TO FIND A SOLUTION NOW AS THIS POSES A MAJOR CRASH RISK.
