I WENT TO THE STORE JUST FINE WHEN I LEFT THE STORE IT WAS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN THE WHEEL AND A ALERT CAME ON THE SCREEN AND SAID SOMETHING ABOUT THE POWER STEERING ASSIST FAIL THANKFULLY I WAS NOT FAR FROM HOME I HAD TO USE EVERY MUSCLE I HAD TO STEER IT AND MAKE TURNS. I TOOK IT IN FOR DIAGNOSIS I WAS QUOTED OVER $2200 AND WOULD STILL NEED AND ALIGNMENT AND COMPUTER REST 😡 MY CAR IS STUCK IN THE DRIVEWAY TILL I GET THE EXTRA $2200 TO PAY FOR IT THANKS FORD FOR MY FIRST CAR EXPERIENCE.
ON THURSDAY EVENING, 11/22/2018, I WAS COMING TO A STOP AT A LIGHT ON A CITY STREET (SPEED LIMIT 35) WHEN MY CAR STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. MOVING AT MOST 25 MPH WHEN IT OCCURRED, THE OIL AND BATTERY LIGHTS CAME ON AS I SLOWED. I TRIED ACCELERATING SLIGHTLY TO DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE, AND NOTHING HAPPENED. I ATTEMPTED TO PULL INTO THE LEFT TURN LANE (MOSTLY OUT OF TRAFFIC) BUT FOUND MY POWER STEERING WAS COMPROMISED. I TURNED ON MY HAZARDS, PARKED, AND TURNED OFF THE CAR, WAITED 5 SECONDS, AND RESTARTED THE CAR WITH NO TROUBLE. I WAS SHAKEN, BUT THANKFULLY NO DAMAGE TO THE CAR OR INJURIES TO MYSELF OR OTHERS. 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE STALL, I HAD MY TRANSMISSION SERVICED, AND I WAS MADE AWARE OF FORD MANUFACTURER RECALL NUMBER 18S32 AND THAT MY CAR WAS ONE OF THE AFFECTED. WHEN MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON A WEEK AFTER SERVICE, ERROR CODE P2195 (BANK 1/SENSOR 1 LEAN) CAME UP, AND THEN WENT AWAY. I WAS TOLD IT WAS STILL SAFE TO DRIVE AND CONTINUED TO DO SO. I WAS ON MY WAY TO MY PARENTS' HOUSE FOR THANKSGIVING WITH THE INTENT TO STAY OVERNIGHT AND HAVE MY DAD WORK ON THE CAR IN THE MORNING WHEN THE CAR STALLED WITH A 3/4 FULL TANK OF GAS, DESPITE FORD'S ADVICE THAT THE CAR SHOULD BE SAFE TO OPERATE WITH MORE THAN A HALF TANK. MY AIR FILTER WAS REPLACED, AND 5 DAYS LATER THE ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AGAIN, SAME CODE. I SCHEDULED SERVICE WITH FORD, AND THEY VERIFIED THAT THE ENGINE CODE AND THE STALL ARE RELATED TO THE RECALL.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD FOCUS. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE VEHICLE CRASHED INTO A DEER. THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE WAS SEVERELY DAMAGED, BUT THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE RIGHT LEG AND BACK AND WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE LOCAL HOSPITAL FOR MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED. THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER AND LOCAL DEALER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 84,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2015 FORD FOCUS. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN SMOKING WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER AND THE SMOKE AND FLAMES BECAME MORE RAMPANT. THE CONTACT CALLED THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND HAD THE FIRE EXTINGUISHED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT TOW YARD AND THE WHEREABOUTS OF THE VEHICLE WERE UNKNOWN. THE INSURANCE COMPANY CONDUCTED AN INVESTIGATION OF THE INCIDENT AND RETRIEVED THE SERVICE RECORDS OF THE VEHICLE FROM CHAPMAN'S NORTHEAST FORD (9371 ROOSEVELT BLVD, PHILADELPHIA, PA 19114, 866-577-2408). THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED BY THE INSURANCE CLAIM ADJUSTER THAT THE FIRE WAS CAUSED BY AN ENGINE BLOCK. THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V735000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED HER THAT THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN SALVAGED AND WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 70,000.
WHILE PARKED (STATIONARY) I COULD NOT TURN THE ENGINE OFF EVEN THOUGH I PRESSED THE ON/OFF BUTTON. (THE BATTERY WOULD DRAIN DOWN TO ZERO. I COULD RECHARGE IT 100% BUT IT WOULD NOT HOLD THE CHARGE.) I BROUGHT IT TO FORD SERVICE. THEY CHARGED IT UP AND SAID IT WAS WORKING FINE. I TOLD THEM TO LET IT SIT OVER NIGHT. THEY CHECKED IT THE NEXT DAY AND IT WAS DRAINED. THEY TOLD ME THAT THE PROBLEM WAS A DEFECTIVE "BODY CONTROL MODULE" WHICH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. I INFORMED THEM THAT FORD ALREADY RECALLED THE 2015 FOCUS BECAUSE OF DEFECTIVE BODY CONTROL MODULE. THEY SAID THAT MY FOCUS WAS NOT COVERED BY THAT RECALL. I TOLD THEM THAT A CAR THAT KEEPS RUNNING AND CANNOT BE TURNED OFF IS DANGEROUS, THEREFORE SHOULD BE RECALLED. WHAT MAKES IT PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS IS THAT THE ENGINE IS RUNNING AND YOU CAN'T EVEN TELL BECAUSE ELECTRIC CARS ARE SILENT. (THEIR REPAIR PAPERWORK IS DISINGENUOUS. IT SAYS THE CAR WOULD NOT START (WHEN DRAINED). I BROUGHT IT IN BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT STOP. AFTER THEY INSTALLED A NEW MODULE, THEY GAVE ME THE OLD DEFECTIVE ONE WHICH I HAVE IN MY POSSESSION.
IN MY GARAGE WOULD NOT START HALF TANK OF GAS. BOUGHT A NEW BATTERY I DIDN'T NEED. THEN I GOT LETTER FOR RECALL WHICH SAID THEY WOULD CONTACT ME IN FEBRUARY 2019. I HAVE RECEIVED NO LETTER.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD FOCUS. WHILE DRIVING AT A LOW SPEED, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO STALL WITHOUT WARNING. THE STALLING PERSISTED FOR A FEW MINUTES BEFORE THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO OPERATE SMOOTHLY AGAIN. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE PLACE IT WAS PURCHASED FROM AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OPERATING NORMALLY. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 6,300.
I CONTACTED FORD REGARDING SAFETY RECALL NOTICE 18S07 / NHTSA RECALL 18V-169 AND ASKED WHY MY VIN NUMBER WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS RECALL. MY FORD FOCUS 2015 WAS MANUFACTURED ON MARCH 20, 2015, IN THE SAME MICHIGAN PLANT AND IS EXPERIENCING THE SAME CLUTCH SHUDDERING AS DESCRIBED IN YOUR RECALL NOTICE. FORD'S ANSWER WAS THAT VIN NUMBERS ARE THE SOLE METHOD FOR DETERMINING RECALLS. THEY CLEARLY DID NOT THROW THE NET FAR ENOUGH TO COVER THEIR QUALITY AND DESIGN ISSUES. AFFECTED VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH 1.0L FOX GTDI OR 1.6L SIGMA GTDI ENGINES WITH B6 MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS MAY EXPERIENCE CLUTCH SLIP WHICH CAN LEAD TO A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. THIS VEHICLE IS DRIVEN BY MY DAUGHTER AND SHE EXPERIENCES SHUTTERING WHEN SHE ACCELERATES THE VEHICLE. SHE DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH POWER TO ACCELERATE QUICKLY WHICH COULD EASILY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT AS SHE PULLS OUT IN TRAFFIC. I HAVE READ ABOUT MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME SCARY EXPERIENCE WHILE ACCELERATING AND THEIR FRUSTRATION AND CONFUSION ABOUT WHY THEIR FOCUS WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. I WOULD LIKE FORD TO RE-EXAMINE HOW THEY DETERMINED THE VIN NUMBERS AFFECTED AND WHY MY VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED SINCE IT CLEARLY HAS THE SAME POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS ISSUE. YOUR HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
WHEN ACCELERATING MY CAR SHUTTER LIKE CAUSING THE CAR TO SHAKE.
MY CAR WAS DRIVING VERY SLUGGISH ON 10/24/2018, I HAD MY CAR TOWED 42 MILES TO THE LAST FORD DEALERSHIPS THAT WORKED ON MY CAR LAST FOR A ENGINE ISSUE. AFTER THEY DID SOME TEST THEY SAID THAT MY ENGINE HAS BLOWN DUE TO THE HEAD GASKET WARPED AND THE CYLINDERS WARPED WHICH CAUSED COOLANT TO LEAK INTO MY ENGINE. UPON TALKING WITH THE FORD DEALERSHIP THEY SAID THAT I DID NOTHING TO CAUSE THIS, THE SERVICE ADVISORY SAID IT WAS A DEFECT OF THE DESIGN SINCE MY CAR SHOWED NO SIGNS OF ISSUES. FORD SAID THAT MY CAR SHOULD HAVE OVERHEATED OR HAD WARNING SIGNS APPEAR.

IN ADDITION, WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO SHIFT GEARS. I HAVE NOTIFIED FORD OF THE ISSUE WITH MY CPV (CANISTER PURGE VALVE), WHICH CAUSES MY 2015 FORD FOCUS TO SUDDENLY STALL WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION, IN OCTOBER OF 2018. IT IS NOW 02/25/2019 AND THERE IS STILL NO REMEDY TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. THIS CAUSES A GREAT SAFETY ISSUE TO MYSELF AND DRIVERS AROUND ME WHEN THE CAR SHUTS OFF WITHOUT WARNING.

ON YOUR VEHICLE, THE ENGINE MAY STALL DUE TO A STUCK CANISTER PURGE VALVE (CPV) WITHIN THE FUEL VAPOR SYSTEM. A STUCK CPV CAN LEAD TO EXCESSIVE VACUUM IN THE FUEL VAPOR SYSTEM, CAUSING THE PLASTIC FUEL TANK TO DEFORM, RESULTING IN AN INACCURATE OR ERRATIC FUEL GAUGE INDICATION, INACCURATE DISTANCE TO EMPTY (DTE), AND/OR OTHER DRIVABILITY CONCERNS. THE VEHICLE MAY ALSO EXHIBIT AN ILLUMINATED MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LAMP (MIL). SAFETY RISK: AN ENGINE STALL WHILE DRIVING WITHOUT WARNING OR WITHOUT THE ABILITY TO RESTART, CAN INCREASE THE RISK OF A CRASH. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A NOTICE TO HAVE THIS ISSUE FIXED.

I HAVE ALREADY FIXED A RECALL THAT I JUST RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF VIA POSTAL MAIL. I WILL UPLOAD A PIC OF THE RECALL LETTER AND A PIC OF THE RECEIPT THAT THIS SERVICE WAS ALREADY COMPLETED PRIOR TO THE NOTIFICATION. I HAD TO GET IT REPAIRED DUE TO THE FACT THE CAR WAS NOT ACCELERATING PROPERLY PRIOR TO THE REPAIR. I WOULD LIKE TO GET REIMBURSED FOR THE COST OF THE REPAIR DUE TO IT IS A RECALLED PART. THANK YOU. THE CAR SHAKES AND STUTTERS IN LOWER GEAR AND IT IS VERY DANGEROUS. WHEN I GO FROM A STOP INTO FIRST GEAR THE CAR WILL NOT IMMEDIATELY START AND WHEN IT DOES, IT SHUTTERS. THE WHOLE CAR SHAKES WHEN I AM DRIVING IN THE CITY BECAUSE OF THE START/STOP. THIS IS GOING TO CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. OTHER FORD FOCUS CARS FROM 2015 ARE RECALLED, BUT MINE IS NOT FOR SOME REASON. THE TRANSMISSION IS GOING TO FAIL AND I ASKED FORD TO HELP RE-SET THE TRANSMISSION OR REPLACE IT, AND THEY WILL NOT. PLEASE HELP ME.

THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49,185.
THE CAR IS OWN 3 YEARS OLD AND I HAVE ALREADY REPLACED THE FUEL EMISSION VALVES, THE COOLING SYSTEM, AND NOW THE UNAFFORDABLE TRANSMISSION CONTROL, CATYLATTIC CONVERTER, AND TRANSMISSION CLUTCH HAVE GONE OUT TO WHERE MY CAR WONT CHANGE SPEEDS WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY, NOR REVERSE.
AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM, AFTER ABOUT 45 MINUTES OF USE, WILL GREATLY REDUCE FAN SPEED. DEALER SAYS CONDENSOR MAY BE FREEZING UP DUE TO A BAD SENSOR. THE CAR DOES NOT STORE A CODE FOR THE DEALER TO DIAGNOSE WHICH SENSOR IS BAD SO THEY WON'T FIX IT. DEALER SAYS NEXT TIME IT IS IN FAILURE MODE, BRING IT IN TO TRY TO GET A CODE.
WHILE ACCELERATING THE VEHICLE DOESN'T KNOW WHEN TO SHIFT INTO GEARS CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO SHUDDER AND MAKE A RATTLING NOISE. RECEIVED A CODE SAYING 'TRANSMISSION FAULT, SERVICE NOW.' WHILE HITTING BUMPS THE VEHICLE MAKES A CRUNCHING NOISE.

WHEN I COME TO A STOP AND BEGIN TO TAKE OFF MY CAR JERKS REALLY BAD LIKE MY GEARS ARE TRYING TO CATCH UP, IT SNATCHED SO BAD I WENT INTO ANOTHER LANE OF TRAFFIC IN THE RAIN. I HAVE HAD IT SENT BACK TO THE ORIGINAL DEALER AND IT WAS CLAIMED TO HAVE BEEN FIXED I DISAGREE STRONGLY.
MY CAR DOES NOT ACCELERATE ON THE ROAD WHEN MY FOOT IS PRESSING DOWN ON GAS PEDAL BUT RPM INCREASES RESULTING IN STALLING IN MOTION LIKE CONDITIONS. IT IS VERY SCARY AND FRUSTRATING FOR ME AND MY OCCUPANTS THAT RIDE WITH ME TO WORK.
ON OR ABOUT 9/23/2018 AND WHILE DRIVING MY FORD FOCUS HB SE, I RECEIVED AN ERROR MESSAGE ON MY DASH THAT READ "TRANSMISSION FAULT SERVICE NOW". I WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER SAFELY AND LATER WAITED FOR A TOW TO MY HOME. ON 9/25/2018 I CONTACTED A FORD DEALERSHIP NEAR MY HOME (SUBURBAN FORD OF FERNDALE) IN MICHIGAN. THE CAR WAS TOWED ON 9/28/2018 TO SUBURBAN FORD DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE. INITIALLY, THE THINKING WAS THE TRANSMISSION MODULE (TCM) NEEDED SERVICING, HOWEVER THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT INFORMS ME THAT THE DUEL-CLUTCH COMPONENT IS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDS REPLACING. I FURTHER UNDERSTAND THAT I'M NOT ALONE WITH THIS ISSUE. THE CAR HAS 62,056 MILES ON THE ROAD AND HAS HAD TYPICAL MAINTENANCE (TIRES, OIL CHANGE, ETC.). WHILE FORD'S EXTENDED WARRANTY COVERS TCM, CUSTOMERS, SUCH AS MYSELF, HAVING ISSUES WITH DEFECTIVE DUAL-CLUTCH ARE HAVING TO COME OUT OF POCKET FOR REPAIRS. THIS VEHICLE HAS MERELY 62,056 ROAD MILES NOT 162,056 MILES.
DRIVER SIDE DOOR LATCH WILL NOT ACTUATE AND THE DOOR WILL FLY OPEN WHILE DRIVING. FORD CLAIMS THIS PROBLEM IS NOT COVERED ON THIS VIN FOR A FOCUS ST EVEN THOUGH 2015 FOCUS DOOR LATCHES ARE LISTED ON AN EARLIER RECALL.

AFTER THE REPAIR, THE CLUTCH MALFUNCTIONED AGAIN AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DIFFERENT UNKNOWN DEALER. THE SECOND DEALER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT COVERED UNDER A WARRANTY AND THEY WOULD HAVE TO CHARGE FOR THE REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE DIAGNOSIS INFORMATION WAS UNKNOWN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,023.
MY 2015 FORD FOCUS HAD A RECALL DUE TO A FAULTY TRANSMISSION IN 2017. THE CARS ENGINE WOULD SHUDDER WHEN SWITCHING FROM 1ST TO 2ND GEARS IN THE AUTOMATIC/MANUAL TRANSITION. I REPLACED THE TRANSMISSION UNDER THE RECALL WARRANTY. HOWEVER, ALMOST A YEAR LATER TO THIS DATE MY TRANSMISSION/ENGINE IS SHOWING THE SAME SIGNS.
CAR SHUTTERS BETWEEN 5 TO 15 MILES PER HOUR. REPLACED BATTERY TRANSMISSION LIGHT CAME ON STATING TRANSMISSION IS HOT. TOOK TO FORD SAID ITS A DUAL CLUTCH THAT'S STUCK AND IT'S A SHIFT FORK THAT NEEDS REPLACEMENT. I SHOULD RECEIVE AN TRANSMISSION ISSUE AFTER REPLACING A BATTERY THEN BE TOLD IT'S A CLUTCH THAT STUCK. APPEARS TO BE THE SAME ISSUE FROM THE 2014 FORD FOCUS. THIS HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING BACK FROM REPLACING THE BATTERY'S. TOLD BY FORD ITS MIMIC A BAD BATTERY.

WHEN I PULLED OVER, THE CAR WOULD NOT SHUT OFF WHEN I PUSHED THE START/STOP BUTTON. THE CAR IS CURRENTLY AT THE DEALERSHIP UNDERGOING DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. I THINK IT MAY BE AN ABS SENSOR THAT CAME LOOSE BEHIND A WHEEL.

OVER THE PAST YEAR MY FORD FOCUS 2015 HAS BEGUN SUFFERING A TERRIBLE "SHUDDERING" WHEN GOING FROM STOP TO MOVING (SPECIFICALLY THE FIRST SHIFT RANGE OF 15-20MPH), AND ESP. I PULLED OVER TO SIDE OF ROAD BUT TRYING TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL WAS LIKE MOVING A TON OF BRICKS. TURNED CAR ENGINE OFF AND BACK ON BUT STEERING WAS OUT. STEERING GEAR HAD TO BE REPLACED BY DEALER. FORD HAS A HISTORY OF RECALLS WITH THIS SAME PROBLEM. MY VEHICLE MAKE AND MODEL WAS NOT AMONG THOSE RECALLED.
AT JUST OVER 71,000 MILES OUR 2015 FORD FOCUS SE ELECTRICAL STEERING RACK FAILED AND NEEDED FULL REPLACEMENT AT AN OUT OF POCKET COST OF ALMOST $1800. DURING A TURN ON A CITY STREET, THE STEERING FAILED AND MAKE IT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL, MAKING THIS PART AN OBVIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. HAD IT GONE OUT AT THE WRONG TIME, A SERIOUS ACCIDENT WOULD HAVE TAKEN PLACE. WE HAVE CONTACTED FORD AND VOICED OUR CONCERNS BUT THEY WOULD NOT AGREE TO COMPENSATION FOR AN OBVIOUS SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE THE PART IN QUESTION WAS NOT YET RECALLED. I BELIEVE A SIMILAR ISSUE OCCURRED IN FORD FOCUS MODELS BEFORE 2015 AND ALSO ON THEIR FUSION LINE OF CARS IN THE SAME RANGE OF YEARS OF AROUND 2013-2015 I WOULD LIKE THE NHTSA TO LOOK INTO THE 2015 FORD FOCUS FOR A RECALL ON THE STEERING SYSTEM AND SUBMIT TO YOU THAT YOU WILL NOT BE SHORT IN FINDING 2015 FOCUS OWNERS WITH THE SAME ISSUE AFTER A QUICK SEARCH ON THE WEB.
RACK AND PINION EPAS FAILED--GRADUALLY AT FIRST, THEN COMPLETELY. THIS PART HAS BEEN RECALLED IN OTHER FORD MODELS BUT NOT IN MINE--YET. THE REPAIR BILL WAS $2800. IT HAPPENED WITHIN A FEW DAYS OF 3-YR WARRANTY EXPIRATION AND I FILED A CLAIM WITH FORD. THEY REDUCED THE COST BY $2000, BUT I STILL HAVE AN $800 BILL TO PAY TODAY, AS THE CAR HAS BEEN FIXED. 2015 FORD FOCUS. DRIVING HOME, ALMOST CRASHED HEAD ON DUE TO LOSS OF STEERING IN MY VEHICLE. PURCHASED NEW 3 MILES IN JUNE 2015. STILL TRYING TO GET SERVICE FOR RECALL ON POWERTRAIN, ALWAYS TOLD PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE OR SERVICE REQUESTS BACKED UP. THE VEHICLE IS UNSAFE AND CAN CAUSE FATALITY ON THE ROAD. MY CURRENT MILEAGE IS 53,181 AND IN NO WAY SHOULD THE STEERING SYSTEM FAIL. MY CAR IS IN THE SHOP AT THE DEALER AND THE COST FOR REPAIR IS $2100.00 PLUS TAX WHICH I DO NOT HAVE. I HAVE RESEARCHED AND FOUND MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME ISSUES I AM REPORTING. THERE SHOULD BE A SAFETY RECALL ON THE STEERING SYSTEM. I'M STRUGGLING EACH DAY GETTING RIDES BACK AND FORTH TO WORK AND I NO LONGER FEEL SAFE WITH MY CHILD IN AN UNSAFE MOTOR VEHICLE THAT COULD CAUSE CRASH/COLLISION. FORD NEEDS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEFECTS AND RECALL ALL FORD FOCUS 2015 SO THAT OTHERS CONSUMERS CAN GET THEIR CAR REPAIRED. AS I STATED BEFORE I ALMOST CRASHED HEAD ON DUE TO STEERING FAILURE. THE CAR HAS 101628 MILES ON IT AS MMY WIFE COMMUTES TO WORK ABOUT 1.5 HOURS EACH WAY PER DAY. THE TRANSMISSION SHUTTERS ON TAKE OFF, DOES NOT KNOW WHEN TO SHIFT GEARS AT TIMES FROM 1ST TO 2ND COULD HAPPEN ANYWHERE AND FROM 3RD TO 4TH ON THE HIGHWAY AND NOW THE TRANSMISSION HAS STOPPED GOING INTO REVERSE AT ALL. THIS WILL BE THE 3RD TIME THIS CAR HAS BEEN IN THE DEALER FOR THIS ISSUE AND THE WARRANTY HAS ALREADY RAN OUT FROM FORD BUT WE GOT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY, SO THE REPAIR WILL BE ON ME THE NEXT TIME.
