MY RACK AND PINION STEERING GEAR ON MY 2014 FORD FUSION WENT OUT I GOT IT REPLACED JUST FOR IT TO MESS UP FIVE MONTHS LATER I TOOK IT BACK INTO THE SHOP TO GET MORE INFORMATION THEY SAY THE COMPUTER OF THE STEERING RACK ISNT COMMUNICATING PROPERLY WITH THE MASTER COMPUTER IN THE CAR
WELL FIRST OFF THE TRACTION NO HILL ASSIST INDICATOR CAME ON OUT OF NOWHERE AND 2 DAYS LATER MY POWER STEERING HAVING PROBLEMS AND THING IT WENT OUT AS SOON AS I MADE IT HOME BECAUSE THAT WOULD OF BEEN A BAD SITUATION. AND TO THINK IT'S AN EASY FIX WHEN YOU GETTING CHARGE AN ARM AND A LEG JUST NOT RIGHT AT ALL THIS IS AN SERIOUS PROBLEM THAT SHOULD HAVE A RECALL.
SEVERAL WEEKS AGO I NOTICED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER DOOR WAS NOT OPENING WHEN THE INSIDE HANDLE WAS INITIALLY PULLED I WAS ABLE HOWEVER TO TRY AGAIN AND IT WOULD WORK. UNFORTUNATELY NOW I AM COMPLETELY UNABLE TO OPEN THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR AT ALL FROM THE INSIDE. I HAVE CONTACTED MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP IN REGARDS TO THE REPAIR THEY ARE ADVISING THAT IT WILL COST OVER $400 TO HAVE A FULLY FUNCTIONING DOOR. THIS ISSUE IS A MASSIVE SAFETY ISSUE WHICH HAS MYSELF AND MY FAMILY CONCERNED IN REGARDS TO THIS MATTER.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FUSION. WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE TRANSMISSION WOULD NOT SHIFT INTO GEAR. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO REPLACED THE TRANSMISSION PUMP AND TORQUE CONVERTER. APPROXIMATELY TWO MONTHS LATER, THE TRANSMISSION SHIFT CABLE BUSHING DETACHED AND CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO ROLL BACKWARDS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO TOWN FORD (1680 WHITTLESEY RD, COLUMBUS, GA), BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V471000 (POWER TRAIN). THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED THE SAME FAILURE LISTED IN THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 137,000.
GAS PEDAL COMPLETELY BROKE OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING IN HEAT TRAFFIC ON A RAINY MORNING. NO ONE AT FORD OR THE DEALERSHIP SHOWS ANY INTEREST IN REPLACING THE DEFECTIVE PLASTIC GAS PEDAL; NOT TO MENTION WHAT HAPPENED. THEY ACT AS THOUGH THIS IS A NORMAL MALFUNCTION. *TR

TRANSMISSION DOWN SHIFTS AND THE CAR LOSSES FORWARD SPEED WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY AND CITY STREETS.
I HAPPENED TO BE DRIVING AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT, WHEN MY CAR BEGAN TO RUN HOT. I SAW THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE PART THAT WAS CAUSING THE CAR TO RUN HOT BUT WHEN I BROUGHT IT TO THE DEALER ATTENTION THEY DIDN'T HAVE RECALL INFORMATION FOR MY VEHICLE BUT FOR OTHERS VEHICLES, ALSO SINCE THEY CLAIM TO NOT HAVE RECALL ON JUST MINES THEY ALSO DIDN'T HAVE MEANS TO PROVIDING A PART FOR ME TO PURCHASE BUT TOLD ME TO LOOK IN JUNKYARD. I RECENTLY WAS AT THE DEALERSHIP TWO MONTHS BEFORE THE INCIDENT FOR ALMOST A TOTAL OF EIGHT RECALLS THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE THEY FIXED THEM AND I WAS HAPPY BUT THE NEXT DAY COMES AROUND AND THE INFORMATION LIGHT COMES ON SAYING SEE DEALER SO I WENT BACK AND THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME FOR SOMETHING THEY JUST EXAMINED. I JUST WANT TO BE SAFE IN MY CAR AGAIN OR JUST TAKE CAR OFF MARKET PLEASE TO MUCH GOING ON AS FAR AS RECALLS FOR THIS MODEL FORD FUSION TITANIUM 14 ENERGI
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE GEAR SHIFTER BECAME STUCK IN THE PARK POSITION AND THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO ROLL AS IF IT WERE IN THE NEUTRAL POSITION. DURING THE FAILURE, THE GEAR SHIFTER DISPLAY ALSO INDICATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS IN THE NEUTRAL POSITION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO MOUNTAIN VIEW FORD (301 EAST 20TH STREET, CHATTANOOGA, TN) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SHIFTER CABLE BUSHING WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT COVERED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V471000 (POWER TRAIN). THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED THE SAME FAILURE LISTED IN THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,293.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FUSION. WHILE THE CONTACT'S WIFE WAS DRIVING 25 MPH, THE POWER STEERING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE STEERING SEIZED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO VICTORY LAND FORD (903 OLD RTE 66 N, LITCHFIELD, IL 62056, 217-324-3965) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING RACK FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 99,000.
ECOBOOST ENGINE FAILURE WHILE DRIVING. SMOKE WAS POURING OUT, COMPLETE POWER LOSS DURING DRIVE ON CITY STREET. FORD REFUSAL TO ACKNOWLEDGE ANY PROBLEM WITH ECOBOOST ENGINE. OUR ECOBOOST ENGINE CRACKED AND FAILED. OUR VIN NOT INCLUDED IN THE ECOBOOST RECALL. WE HAD TO PAY $4,200 OUT OF POCKET TO BUY NEW ENGINE AND NEW TURBO. 44 DAYS WITHOUT VEHICLE. WE ARE AWARE OF A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT IN THE UK FOR A TOTAL OF 2000 AND COUNTING CONFIRMED ECOBOOST ENGINE FAILURES THAT FORD IS TRYING TO IGNORE LIABILITY. ECOBOOST NIGHTMARE UK. PLEASE HELP US MAKE FORD LIABLE FOR THESE KNOWN DEFECTS WITH ECOBOOST ENGINES AND GET OUR MONEY BACK!
I WAS PARKED FILLING MY CAR WITH GAS. WHEN I STARTED THE VEHICLE AGAIN, IT WOULD NOT GO INTO DRIVE. THE REASON I WAS GIVEN AFTER HAVING THE CAR INSPECTED WAS AS FOLLOWS: THE SHIFTER CABLE BUSHING AT THE TRANSMISSION FAILED AND WAS COPLETELY GONE. FOUND SHIFTER CABLE BUSHING WORN TO THE POINT THAT IT SEPERATED FROM THE SHIFT CABLE. THERE IS A RECALL FOR THIS EXACT PROBLEM BUT NOT FOR THE MODEL OF MY FUSION. THE RECALL NUMBER FOR OTHER FUSION MODELS IS 18V471000 WITH A RECALL DATE OF 7/16/2018. FORD'S NUMBER FOR THIS RECALL IS LISTED AS 18S20. BECAUSE THIS RECALL IS FOR THE EXACT PROBLEM I HAD WITH MY FUSION, I BELIEVE MY MODEL NEEDS TO BE INCLUDED IN THE RECALL.
WHILE CAR WAS STOPPED I MOVED THE SHIFT LEVER INTO PARK BUT THE DASHBOARD INDICATED CAR WAS IN NEUTRAL AND WHEN I TOOK MY FOOT OFF THE BRAKE THE CAR STARTED TO ROLL. SHIFT LEVER WAS LOCKED IN THE PARK AND WOULD NOT LET ME MOVE IT INTO ANOTHER POSITION. CAR ALLOWED ME TO TURN OFF AND REMOVE KEY WITHOUT CAR BEING IN PARK. EMERGENCY BRAKE WAS TURNED ON TO KEEP IT FROM ROLLING. THIS APPEARS TO BE THE SAME ISSUE INDICATED IN A RECALL LISTED ON THIS WEBSITE BUT PER FORD THERE IS NO RECALL FOR MY CAR. I WOULD LIKE THIS ISSUED REVIEWED TO HAVE A RECALL PLACED ON IT. *TR
CAR DIES WHEN I STOP AT STOP SIGNS OR RED LIGHT ON COLD MORNINGS. ON CITY STREETS GOING TO WORK. CAR TAKEN TO AUTO CENTER 12-18-18 & PROBLEM FOUND. I WAS TOLD ONLY FORD DEALERSHIPS COULD REPAIR. 35A-P061B:00:47-FOUND AN INTERNAL FAILURE IN THE POWER TRAIN CONTROL MODULE. CORRECTION/ACTION TAKEN- REFER TO DEALER FOR REPAIR-PROGRAMMABLE MODULE
I HAVE A 2014 FORD FUSION ECOBOOST 2.0 TURBO THE VEHICLE RUNS GREAT UNTIL YOU SHUT IT OFF. ONCE YOU START IT UP IT RUNS FINE THEN WITHIN A FEW MINUTES NOT EVERYTIME IT WILL JUST SHUT OFF. IT WILL ALSO START SHAKING IN STOP AND GO TRAFFIC THEN SHUTOFF. I HAVE AVOIDED TWO HEAD ON COLLISIONS AT INTERSECTIONS TURNING LEFT WHEN THE ENGIN DIED, I WAS ABLE TO RESTART IT BOTH TIMES AFTER A FEW MINUTES THEN I NEARLY HAD A REAR END IMPACT WHEN MERGING ON THE FREEWAY, I W AS GOING 65-70 AND AS I MERGED OVER THE CAR SPUTTERED AND SHUT OFF. I WAS ABLE TO COAST TO THE SHOULDER AND WAIT FOR A TOW.. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS ISSUE AND I KNOW SEVERAL PEOPLE ALL WITH A FORD ECOBOOST ENGINE THAT HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. THE PROBLEM APPEARS TO BE THE PURGE VALVE. FORD NEEDS TO ADDRESS ALL ECOBOOST MOTORS. THIS IS AN ACTIVE RECALL ON THE FORD FOCUS 2.0 LITER CARS. SUFFICE TO SAY I AM VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN EVER I DRIVE IT NOW. I WANT IT FIXED OR GONE. THIS STILL HAPPENS ALMOST DAILY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 4 MPH, THE STEERING LOST POWER AND THE "POWER ASSIST OFF" INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 105,000.
LOUD NOISE FROM PASSENGER SIDE OF ENGINE COMPARTMENT CAME OUT OF NOWHERE WHEN WE STARTED THE CAR ON THANKSGIVING DAY. WE TOOK THE CAR TO OUR LOCAL MECHANIC WHICH IS 2 MILES FROM OUR HOME. HE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM IMMEDIATELY AS A BAD WATER PUMP BUT WAS CONFUSED AS TO WHY THE WATER PUMP WOULD GO BAD AT ONLY 77K MILES. WHEN HE WENT TO ORDER THE PART HE FOUND OUT THAT THE EXISTING WATER PUMP HAD BEEN DISCONTINUED AND REPLACED BY A WATER PUMP THAT NO LONGER USED THE ELECTRONICS THAT THE ORIGINAL WATER PUMP USED. FORD (FROM LOCAL DEALERSHIP)TECHS EXPLAINED THAT THE EXISTING WIRES SHOULD JUST BE CUT AND SHRINKWRAPPED AS THEY WERE NO LONGER NEEDED. HE ALSO LEARNED THAT TO DO THE INSTALL OF THE NEWER VERSION WATER PUMP THAT THE TIMING BELT WOULD NEED TO BE ADJUSTED AND A 'SPECIAL TIMING KIT' WOULD BE NEEDED. THIS REPAIR ACTUALLY INVOLVED REMOVING THE RIGHT SIDE AXLE TO USE THE 'SPECIAL TIMING KIT'. I CAN FIND NO RECALL ON THE ORIGINAL WATER PUMP EVEN THOUGH IT HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED AND REPLACED WITH AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT PART. I WAS INFORMED THAT THIS IS NOT UNDER WARRANTY AND A PHONE COMPLAINT WITH FORD CORPORATE WAS FILED TODAY. FORD REFUSED TO GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION ON WHY THE PUMP WAS DISCONTINUED AND OFFERED NO HELP IN COVERING THIS WEEK LONG EXPENSIVE REPAIR. MY LOCAL MECHANIC EXPLAINED THAT THIS IS NOT ONLY RECALL WORTHY BUT A SAFETY HAZARD AND I SHOULD REPORT IT TO YOU IMMEDIATELY.

DOOR LATCHES HAVE BROKEN WHILE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION, CAUSING THE DOOR TO SWING OPEN AND REFUSE TO CLOSE ENTIRELY.TWO SEPARATE INSTANCES OF THIS OCCURRING ON DIFFERENT DOORS WITHIN MONTHS OF EACH OTHER.*DT CONSUMER STATED BOTH DRIVER FRONT SIDE AND THE DRIVER REAR DOOR WAS REPAIRED.*JB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FUSION. AFTER THE CONTACT FILLED THE FUEL TANK WITH 3/4 OF FUEL, A LOUD RATTLING NOISE WAS HEARD COMING FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE NOISE SOUNDED AS IF THE EXHAUST MAY HAVE MADE CONTACT WITH THE FUEL TANK. THE CONTACT WAS AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND INSPECTED THE VEHICLE, BUT COULD NOT FIND THE SOURCE OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT HIGHLIGHTED THAT THE FUEL TANK RATTLING NOISE ONLY SOUNDED WHEN THE TANK WAS 3/4 FULL AND BECAME MORE PROMINENT IN COLDER TEMPERATURES. A DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 86,000.
I HAD AN ISSUE ON MY 14 FUSION. OF THE SHIFTER SEPARATING FROM THE TRANSMISSION. I NOTICED THE PROBLEM WHEN I SHIFTED MY CAR INTO THE PARK POSITION AND REMOVED MY FOOT FROM THE BREAK, ALLOWING MY CAR TO PULL FORWARD AGAIN. THANKFULLY I WAS IN A PARKING AREA WITH PLENTY OF ROOM. NO ONE WAS HURT AND NO PROPERTY DAMAGE WAS SUSTAINED. THIS PROBLEM LEAVES YOU WITH NO TRANSMISSION CONTROLS. FORD DOES HAVE A RECALL ON THE VERY PROBLEM MY CAR EXPERIENCED BUT, UNFORTUNATELY FOR ME MY CAR WAS NOT INCLUDED, LEAVING ME TO FIX THE PROBLEM MYSELF. FORD NEEDS TO EXPAND THE RECALL SINCE IT IS OBVIOUSLY A BIGGER PROBLEM THEN THEY BELIEVE WITH MY CAR HAVING THIS SAME FAILURE. THE LAST RECALL THEY FIXED ,SEATBELT ON FRONT PASSENGER, HAS ONLY HAD MORE ISSUES OF RETRACTING THEN BEFORE THE SERVICE, DOES MAKE ME WONDER IF IT'S NOT BETTER THAT I REPAIRED THE FAILURE PERSONALLY. IT FAILED AT 90K BUT I HAVE HAD NO MORE ISSUES AFTER A 20 DOLLAR REPAIR.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DETERMINED THAT ALL THREE MOTOR MOUNTS WERE DAMAGED AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,000. *TT*JB
RECALL 18S20 FOR THE SHIFTER BUSHING BACK MY CAR UP STOPPED SHIFTED INTO DRIVR FROM REVERSE LET OFF THE BREAK THEN PUT INTO DRIVE HIT THE GAS AND ALMOST SMASHED MY NIEGBOR CAR CAR WAS STILL IN REVERSE NOT DRIVE. PUT CAR IN PARK WENT TO GET OUT AND CAR STATED TO MOVE IN REVESE WAS STILL ENGAGED SHUT OFF THE CAR NOW IT WOULD NOT START STILL IN REVERSE LOOKED UP ON INTERNET FOUND THE ISSUE WAS THE BAD BUSSHING ON THE SHIFTER CAUSED IT TO JUMP OFF LOOK AT IT AND THAT IS WHAT HAPPEN TOOK TO DEALER THEY SAID ALL THE OTHER CARS AROUND MINE YEAR WAS COVERED BUT NOT MY VIN? THIS COULD HAVE BEEN BAD IF MY WIFE WAS IN IT OR IF I HAD HIT THE GAS HARD TO TAKE OFF AND IT WENT BACKWARDS THEY NEED TO RECALL ALL FUSIONS 2013 2014 2015 NOT JUST SOME
WHEN I INITIALLY START MY VEHICLE THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS. THE PROBLEM STARTS IF I TURN MY CAR OFF AFTER DRIVING IT. IT WILL START AND I CAN DRIVE FOR ABOUT 500 FEET AND IT WILL THEN TURN OFF. I HAVE TO RESTART IT AND THEN IT CONTINUES TO DRIVE NORMALLY. THIS HAPPENS ALMOST EVERY TIME I START, STOP AND RESTART THE VEHICLE. IT IS ALWAYS WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION.
EVERY SO OFTEN MY CAR WILL STALL OUT. I WILL RESTART AND IT WILL STALL OUT ALEAST 3 TIMES BEFORE IT WILL DRIVE NORMAL, SOMETIMES I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON BEFORE THE STALLING OUT STOPS. IF I MAKE A LONG TRIP 20 MILES OR MORE, AND REACH MY DESTINATION CAR WILL SHALL AT THE END OF THE TRIP OR WHEN IM LEAVING FROM A LONG TRIP. I CANT SEEM TO HAVE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON LONG ENOUGH FOR THE DEALER TO CHECK DUE TO LIGHT WILL CLEAR.

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO ANGELA KRAUSE FORD (1575 MANSELL ROAD, ALPHARETTA, GA 30009) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BUSHING THAT ATTACHED TO THE SHIFTER CABLE FRACTURED AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: CAS16272770. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000.
AFTER MY HUSBAND PARK THE CAR STARTED TO MOVED BACKWARDS ( ROLLAWAY ISSUE) TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER AND THEY CHARGED US ALMOST $ 700 BECAUSE EVEN THAT IN ONLINE THAT IS A RECALL FOR THE ROLLAWAY ISSUE FOR ALL FORDS 2013/2016 THEY SAID THAT THE VIN IS NOT LISTED AS A RECALL BUT THE CAR WAS ASSEMBLED 5 DAYS AFTER THE RECALL CUT OUT DATE .. SO I ASKED IF WA 5 DAYS AFTER MEANS THEY USED THE SAME PARTS MAYBE BUT FORD IS WILLING TO REFUND ALL MY MONEY ... SINCE IS VERY CLEAR THAT IS A ROLLAWAY ISSUE AND IS NOT FAIR THAT WE PAID FOR THAT .

TAKATA RECALL. I JUST RECEIVED THE NOTICE IN THE MAIL.
I WAS DRIVING THE CAR INTO MY DRIVEWAY. IT IS A SHARED DRIVEWAY FOR A TOWNHOUSE SET. I HAD MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE AS I PULLED IN. I WAS GOING SLOWLY IN THE DRIVE WAY. I TURNED THE WHEEL TO PARK THE CAR. I HAD THE BRAKE FIRMLY DEPRESSED. THE CAR DID NOT STOP. I ENDED UP SLOWLY GOING INTO THE GARAGE DOOR. I HAD THE BRAKE PRESSED DOWN. MY FOOT WAS NOT ON THE GAS. MY FOOT IS ALSO NOT WIDE ENOUGH TO HAVE PUSHED BOTH DOWN AT THE SAME TIME. THE ONLY WAY I COULD STOP WAS TO PUT THE CAR INTO PARK. IT CAME TO A JERKING STOP, BUT DID NOT CONTINUE THE FORWARD MOTION.

CAR STALLS AND CUTS OFF WHILE VEHICLE IN IN OPERATION. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP WHEN IT FIRST BEGAN TO HAPPEN, THEY STATED THAT IT WAS PUT ON THE MACHINE AND NOTHING LIT UP SO THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT. IT COST ALMOST $300 DOLLARS FOR THE REPAIR. WE GOT THE CAR BACK AND THREE DAYS LATER IT WAS CUTTING OFF AGAIN. WE TOOK IT BACK TO THE CAR DEALERSHIP AND THIS TIME THEY STATED IT WAS SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND THAT THE PART WAS COVERED. AFTER WE WERE TOLD THE PART WAS COVERED THE DEALERSHIP CALLED US BACK AND STATED THAT IT WAS NOT COVERED. I GOOGLED THIS PARTICULAR CAR AND NOTICED THAT MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN HAVING THE SAME ISSUES WITH THE CAR AND ALSO GIVEN THE RUN AROUND ABOUT NOT KNOWING WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. IN OCTOBER, 2018, THE POWER STEERING BEGAN GOING OUT INTERMITTENTLY. HAD IT "REPAIRED" AT A COST OF $1029. IT BEGAN DOING THE SAME THING 6 WEEKS AGO, TOOK IT IN THEY SAY IT IS A DIFFERENT PROBLEM NOW WITH ESTIMATED COST OF 2K TO FIX. NOT HAVING THE MONEY, I CONTINUED TO DRIVE THE CAR AND IT DID NOT ACT UP UNTIL LAST WEEK. IT CONTINUES TO GO OUT, WITH NO RHYME OR REASON, AND WHEN I STOP, TURN THE CAR OFF AND REMOVE THE KEY, THEN RESTART IT, IT FIXES ITS SELF. I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT SOMETHING THAT WAS "REPAIRED" IN OCTOBER CAN BREAK AGAIN IN A DIFFERENT WAY WITHIN A FEW MONTHS. EVERY TIME I DRIVE I HOPE THAT THE STEERING DOES NOT GO OUT WHILE I AM IN A CURVE, BECAUSE THAT COULD RESULT IN ME WRECKING. THERE ARE SO MANY PROBLEMS WITH FORD POWER STEERING THAT I FEEL THIS IS A DEFECT THAT SHOULD BE REPAIRED AT NO COST TO ME, UNTIL THEY ACTUALLY GET IT RIGHT.
