"TAKATA RECALL" - I RECEIVED MY LETTER ON JULY 2016 STATING I NEEDED TO REPLACE THE PASSENGER FRONTAL AIRBAG INFLATOR. SINCE THIS DATE I HAVE MADE 5 ATTEMPTS TO HAVE SOMEONE GIVE ME A SCHEDULE AS TO WHEN THIS ISSUE WILL BE RESOLVED. ONE YEAR LATER I AM STILL GETTING THE RUN AROUND FROM FORD. ON JULY 17, 2017 I CONTACTED THE FORD MICHIGAN HEADQUARTERS AND THEY TOLD ME TO CALL CUSTOMER RELATIONS AT 800-392-3673. THE CONVERSATION BEGAN WITH THE SAME EXCUSE THAT THEY WERE WORKING ON THE PROBLEM AND I WOULD RECEIVE A LETTER WHEN THE AIR BAG COULD BE REPLACED. IT WAS AT THAT TIME I STATED I WANTED THEM TO OPEN A CASE FILE FOR ME. THE NUMBER I RECEIVED FOR THE OPEN CASE IS CAS12729115. NOT ALLOWING ANYONE TO SIT IN THE PASSENGER SEAT FOR ONE YEAR HAS CAUSED AN ENORMOUS BURDEN ON MY FAMILY FOR FEAR THAT SERIOUS INJURY MAY RESULT. YOUR HELP IN THIS MATTER WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
TAKATA RECALL - I HAVE CALLED FORD DEALERS EVERY MONTH SINCE RECEIVING THE RECALL NOTICE FROM FORD (16S26) AND THEY ARE SAYING FORD HAS NOT RELEASED THE REPLACEMENT PARTS - WHEN WILL THESE PARTS BE AVAILABLE?

TAKATA RECALL. WE RECEIVED LETTER JULY, 2016 WITH SAFETY RECALL NOTICE 16S26/NHTSA RECALL 16V-384. THE PASSENGER FRONTAL AIRBAG INFLATOR MAY RUPTURE. IT SAID WE WILL BE NOTIFIED WHEN PART IS IN. WE HAVE'NT HEARD ANYTHING. JUST CHECKED ON LINE AND SEEMS LIKE STILL NOT IN. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. WE HAVE BEEN DRIVING THIS CAR FOR ALMOST A YEAR WITH THIS RECALL. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT THIS? WE ARE READY TO CONTACT LAWYER SINCE NOTHING IS BEING DONE.
TAKATA RECALL. IN JULY 2016 MY HUSBAND RECEIVED RECALL NOTICE 16S26 ON OUR MUSTANG'S PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG. THE NOTICE STATED THAT WHEN PARTS BECAME AVAILABLE WE WOULD BE NOTIFIED. ONE YEAR LATER WE ARE STILL WAITING. I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS A WIDE SPREAD PROBLEM. BUT WAITING ONE YEAR SEEMS EXCESSIVE.
I RECEIVED NOTICE IN JULY 2016 THAT MY PASSENGER AIRBAG WAS RECALLED. IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR WITHOUT THE PARTS BEING AVAILABLE. THE DEALER SAID THAT FORD HASN'T RECEIVED THE PARTS. IS THERE AN ETA TO GET THIS FIXED? THANK YOU!

TAKATA RECALL, I AM IN FLORIDA IN THE MOST URGENT RECALL ZONE, BUT FORD KEEPS TELLING ME THEY STILL DON'T HAVE THE PARTS TO FIX MY AIRBAG. I HAVE NOT BEEN DRIVING THE CAR BECAUSE I AM WORRIED SINCE CAR IS 12 YEARS OLD. IS IT TRUE THAT PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE? I ASK EVERY FEW MONTHS. THE LAST LETTER I RECEIVED WAS JULY OF 2016.
TAKATA RECALL. IN JULY 2016 I RECEIVED A MFG RECALL NOTICE 16S26. I HAVE SINCE CONTACTED MY LOCAL FORD DEALER IN WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, A NUMBER OF TIMES LAST TIME BEING LAST WEEK. THEY HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO TELL ME WHEN PARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE TO RESOLVE THIS RECALL. I AM UNCOMFORTABLE DRIVING/RIDING IN THIS CAR, ESPECIALLY WITH (FAMILY) PASSENGERS ABOARD.

TAKATA RECALL -THIS RECALL WAS COMMUNICATED IN JULY, 2016. SINCE THEN, I HAVE CONTACTED MY LOCAL DEALER NUMEROUS TIMES. I'M BEING TOLD THAT A REPLACEMENT IS NOT AVAILABLE. IN DECEMBER, 2017, I GET ANOTHER NOTICE SAYING THE AIRBAGS ARE DEFECTIVE AND NOT TO ALLOW A PASSENGER IN THE CAR. TO WAIT OVER A YEAR AND STILL NO RESOLUTION TO THE DEFECT IS UNACCEPTABLE!

ITS NOW JAN 2018 AND NO FIX CAR IS DRIVEN IN SOUTH FLORIDA ABOUT 4-6 MONTHS OF THE YEAR. TAKATA RECALL--I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG IN JUNE OF 2016. MY COMPLAINT IS WITH FORD'S LACK OF RESPONSE: A YEAR AND A HALF LATER THEY STILL HAVE NOT PROVIDED REPAIRS FOR THIS RECALL. A LETTER MAILED IN DECEMBER 2017 SAID THE REMEDY PARTS ARE STILL DELAYED. THIS IS AN UNACCEPTABLE RESPONSE.
TAKATA RECALL. FORD COMPANY SERVICE DEPARTMENT CAN NOT ORDER THE AIRBAG INFLATORS FRO REPLACE DANGEREST AIRBAG FOR MY CAR. WE HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REPLACE AIRBAG BEFORE AN ACCIDENT OR INJURY.
I HAVE BEEN CONTACTING MY LOCAL FORD DEALER, THROUGHBRED FORD FOR THE LAST YEAR TO HAVE MY AIRBAG RECALL ADDRESSED AND THEY KEEP TELLING ME THE PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. I'M AFRAID TO DRIVE THE CAR SINCE IT IS NOT SAFE. IT'S RIDICULOUS THAT I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET ME CAR FIXED FOR OVER A YEAR.

WE HAVE BEEN WAITING A YEAR TO GET THIS PROBLEM CORRECTED. I HATE SENDING MY CHILD OUT IN THIS CAR BUT, CAN'T AFFORD TO GO BUY A NEW CAR. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY IT HAS TAKEN OVER A YEAR TO GET PARTS TO FIX A PROBLEM THAT COULD CAUSE DEATH!

TAKATA RECALL - SAYS THERE IS STILL NO REMEDY AVAILABLE SINCE OVER A YEAR AGO
TAKATA RECALL. MY RECALL IS DATED JUNE 1, 2016 AND AT THIS POINT, OCTOBER 27, 2017, MY AUTOMOTIVE DEALER HAS NOT RECEIVED THE PARTS NEEDED TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I HAVE BEEN PUT ON A LIST OF CAR OWNERS WAITING FOR FORD TO SEND THE PARTS. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. THIS IS RECALL 16V384.
TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 FORD MUSTANG. NEVER RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V384000 (AIR BAGS); HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. AN UNKNOWN DEALER WAS CONTACTED AND CONFIRMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REMEDY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND WAS NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM WHEN THE PARTS WERE TO BECOME AVAILABLE. OWNER HAS NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. NO FORD SERVICE DEPARTMENTS HAVE THE NECESSARY PARTS TO RECTIFY HE ISSUE WITH THE AIR BAG INFLATERS.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AT 866-436-7332, BUT WAS NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM WHEN THE PARTS WERE TO BECOME AVAILABLE. A CASE NUMBER WAS NOT PROVIDED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
THE FORD DEALER NEVER REPLACED THE DEFECTIVE AIRBAGS NAMED IN THE NHTSA RECALL# 16V384, ALSO KNOWN AS MANUFACTURER RECALL# 16S26 THESE MUST BE REPLACED BY FORD MOTOR CO, AND/OR TAKATA, FOR SAFETY REASONS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
TAKATA RECALL - I RECEIVED NOTICE THAT THE COMPANY IS FILING CHAPTER 11 AND I STILL HAVE AN OUTSTANDING RECALL ON THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG (THE DRIVER'S SIDE WAS ALSO RECALLED BUT I HAVE HAD THAT ONE REPLACED ALREADY). I WENT TO THE RECOMMENDED WEBSITE (WWW.AIRBAGRECALL.COM) TO SEE ABOUT OBTAINING A FREE REPLACEMENT AIRBAG BUT THE RECALL STATUS SAYS 'RECALL INCOMPLETE. REMEDY NOT YET AVAILABLE.' HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO RESOLVE THIS SAFETY ISSUE?
TAKATA RECALL RECALL JUNE 1ST 2016 RECALL 16S26 PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG AFFECTED HAVE CONTACTED MULTIPLE FORD DEALERSHIPS NONE OF THEM HAVE ANY IDEA WHEN PARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE. ALL SAY DON'T CALLUS WE WILL CALL YOU. BECAUSE OF THE HAZARD I CANNOT HAVE PASSENGERS IN THE CAR. I AM TOLD THAT THE AFFECTED PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG CANNOT BE TURNED OFF OR REMOVED. THIS CAR HAS SEAT BELTS AND A WORKING DRIVERS SIDE AIRBAG. IT IS THE PASSENGER AIRBAG THAT MAKES THE CAR UNSAFE AND NOBODY WILL TOUCH IT.... LOTS OF APOLOGIES AND PHONE NUMBERS TO CALL THAT REFER YOU TO ANOTHER NUMBER,
TAKATA RECALL- MY SON HAS RECEIVED AN INITIAL REPLACEMENT ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG. THERE WAS A FIX BEFORE THE PART WAS AVAILABLE FOR THE DRIVER'S SIDE. HOWEVER, THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG REMAINS A RISK TO ANY PASSENGER THAT RIDES WITH HIM. THERE IS CURRENTLY NO FIX AVAILABLE. THE RECALL BEGAN IN JUNE 2016 FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG. I DO NOT WANT ANY OF HIS SIBLINGS OR FRIENDS RIDING IN THIS VEHICLE UNTIL IT IS SAFE.
