HAVE TAKEN TO EVERGREEN FORD IN ISSAQUAH, WA FOUR TIMES WITH AN APPOINTMENT AND CONFIRMING THAT THE REPLACEMENT AIRBAG WAS AVAILABLE. EACH TIME AFTER TAKING THE CAR TO THE FORD DEALERSHIP WE WERE TOLD THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE REPLACEMENT. ALSO, THEY DID NOT KNOW WHEN WOULD BE AVAILABLE. LAST TIME WAS 10/31/2017.
TAKATA RECALL, NHTSA RECALL NUMBER 16V384: PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG REQUIRES REPLACEMENT. RECEIVED 1ST NOTICE ON JUNE 1, 2016. AS OF TODAY, OCT. 31, 2017, NO NEW PART IS AVAILABLE ACCORDING TO MY LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP.
TAKATA RECALL. IT HAS BEEN OVER SIXTEEN MONTHS SINCE THIS RECALL HAS BEEN ISSUED. I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN NOTIFIED BY FORD THAT THE REPLACEMENT PARTS ARE AVAILABLE. THIS IS WAY TOO LONG FOR ME TO BE DRIVING A DANGEROUS AUTOMOBILE. WHAT RECOURSE DO I HAVE?

THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V024000 (AIR BAGS) AND STATED THAT THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME FRAME TO SCHEDULE THE RECALL REPAIR. THE DEALER (PERRY FORD OF SANTA BARBARA, 440 HITCHCOCK WAY, SANTA BARBARA, CA 93105, (805) 682-2411) CONFIRMED THAT THE PART WAS UNAVAILABLE AND WAS UNABLE TO VERIFY WHEN THE PART WOULD BE SUPPLIED FROM THE MANUFACTURER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A POSTCARD FROM TK HOLDINGS ALERTING HER THAT THEY FILED FOR BANKRUPTCY. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. TAKATA RECALL,RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER FROM FORD MOTOR COMPANY JULY 2016 SAYING THERE IS A RECALL ON AIRBAG INFLATOR PASSENGER SIDE 16S26. I HAVE CALLED THE DEALERSHIP SEVERAL TIMES ASKING IF THE PART HAS COME IN AND THEIR ANSWER IS THE SAME EACH TIME "NO PART". THIS HAS BEEN WAY OVER A YEAR SINCE I RECEIVED NOTICE, AS TODAY DATE IS 10/24/2017. I HAVE NOT DRIVEN THIS CAR SINCE I HAVE RECEIVED THIS NOTICE, AFRAID SOMETHING MAY HAPPEN CAUSING AN ACCIDENT OR MORE. I HAVE ALSO TRIED CALLING FORD MOTOR COMPANY AND RECEIVED THE SAME ANSWER ,"NO PART". DOES SOMETHING HAVE TO HAPPEN BEFORE YOU TAKE THE OWNER COMPLAINT? 24
TAKADA RECALL - IN RESPONSE TO THE NOTICE I RECEIVED FROM TAKADA ON OCT, 25, 2017, I CONTACTED POWER FORD IN ALBUQUERQUE, NM, AS INSTRUCTED TO SCHEDULE REPAIRS TO THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG. THE SERVICE MANAGER, BRIAN DUNN, WAS HONEST IN INFORMING ME THAT HE HAD NO REASONABLE EXPECTATION THAT PARTS WERE GOING TO BE AVAILABLE ANYTIME IN THE NEAR FUTURE FOR THEM TO MAKE THE REPAIRS. WHAT REMEDY DO I HAVE?

TAKATA RECALL : I HAVE ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT GREENWAY FORD AND FORD AND WAS TOLD BY BOTH, THAT THE PARTS ARE NOT YET AVAILABLE AND WILL BE NOTIFIED WHEN THEY ARE AVAILABLE. HOWEVER, THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO GIVE ME A TIME FRAME AND COULD BE MONTHS FROM NOW. THAT IS A SERIOUS CONCERN OF MINE AND FOR MY PASSENGERS. THAT TO ME IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND ACTUALLY COULD BE A RISK FOR MY PASSENGERS, IN THE EVENT SOMETHING WOULD OCCUR. RECALL # 16S26

TOOK MY CAR IN TO GET RECALLS FIXED AT TOM PECK FORD IN HUNTLEY ILLINOIS. WITHOUT TELLING ME THEY FIXED TWO OUT OF MY THREE RECALLS.
TAKATA RECALL RECEIVED ON JULY 2016 SAFETY RECALL FROM FORD MOTOR CO., SAFETYRECALL 15S21 FRONTAL AIRBAG PASSENGER SIDE, AS OF THE DATE THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP I HAVE BEEN TAKING MY VEHICLE FOR SERVICE KEEP INFORMING ME THAT THEY HAVE NEVER RECEIVED THESE PARTS AND HAVE NO IDEA IF THEY WILL EVER GET THESE PARTS. LAST VISIT WAS OCT 2017. I HAVE CALLED NUMEROUS TIME AND THE SAME RESPONSE "DON'T KNOW YET".

WHY IS IT TAKING SOOOO LONG TO ENSURE THE PASSENGER AIR BAG WON'T INJURE OR KILL MY PASSENGERS? NHTSA DATABASE ON MY VIN STATES THE RECALL IS THERE... BUT CAN'T BE FIXED???? WHY ??? THEY WERE ABLE TO FIX THE DRIVER'S SIDE.
TAKATA RECALL: I CONTACTED FORD TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR REPLACING THE AIRBAG 3 MONTHS AGO AND AGAIN TODAY. THEY KEEP SAYING THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE PARTS TO DO THE REPLACEMENT AND THAT I SHOULD WAIT. I FEEL VERY UNSAFE WITH THIS AIRBAG AND IT SEEMS LIKE FORD IS NOT ADDRESSING THIS ISSUE APPROPRIATELY.
TAKATA RECALL I RECEIVED A LETTER OF RECALL IN MARCH 2017. I CALLED THE RYE FORD DEALERSHIP ON AUGUST 7, 2017 AND WAS TOLD THE PARTS WERE BACKORDERED AND THAT I WOULD RECEIVE NOTIFICATION WHEN THEY ARE AVAILABLE. RECENTLY, I RECEIVED A NOTICE FROM TK HOLDINGS REGARDING THE AIRBAG RECALL. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO IF THE DEALERSHIP DOESN'T HAVE THE REPLACEMENT AIRBAGS? IT'S BEEN EIGHT MONTHS SINCE I GOT THE FIRST NOTIFICATION. THAT'S ABSURD! PLEASE OFFER ME A SOLUTION TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE.
BOTH ISSUES I HAVE HAD WITH MY CAR NUMEROUS TIMES. THE ENGINE LIGHT HAS NEVER COME ON AND THROUGH RESEARCH, I GUESS IT HAS HAPPENED TO MANY OTHERS. WHEN IN TRAFFIC MOVING SLOWLY, WARM TEMPERATURE, MY CAR STALLS FOR NO APPARENT REASON. TODAY, IT DID WHILE TURNING LEFT AT A CORNER. I ALMOST GOT HIT. I HAVE TO IMMEDIATELY SHIFT TO NEUTRAL AND RESTART THE CAR. IT HAPPENS DURING RUSH HOUR SO I END UP MAKING OTHER DRIVERS ANGRY WHICH IS DANGEROUS. THE OTHER ONGOING ISSUE I HAVE IS THE CAR ACCELERATING BY ITSELF. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR YEARS AND HAS GOT INCREASINGLY WORSE. I NOW HAVE OTHER WITNESS' PEOPLE WHO HAVE DRIVEN THE CAR AND HAD IT HAPPEN. AT MIDAS WHERE I GET MY CAR REPAIRED, THEY DROVE IT AND COULDN'T FIGURE OUT THE ISSUE BUT DEFINITELY SCARED HIM. THE MECHANIC THOUGHT IT IS COMPUTER RELATED. THEY TRIED TO FIND A FIX ONLINE BUT COULDN'T. SOMEONE HIT MY CAR AND IT WAS AT A SHOP BEING REPAIRED FOR 2 WEEKS. THIS IS A VERY LARGE OPERATION. WHEN I WENT TO PICK IT UP THE MECHANIC THERE SAID THAT EVERYONE, AFTER DRIVING MY CAR ONCE, REFUSED TO DRIVE IT AGAIN. IT SCARED THEM TO DEATH. SHE EXPLAINED HOW IT KEPT ACCELERATING AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THEIR FOOT ON THE GAS, THERE WERE NO CAR MATS, NO EXPLANATION. THEY WILL HAVE THEIR FOOT ON THE BRAKE AND IT WILL START REVING. WHEN I'M STOPPED AT LIGHTS IT DOES. WHEN I START THE CAR, STILL IN PARK, IT STARTS.THEY STATED THEY DON'T EVER WANT TO DRIVE AND/OR PARK IT AGAIN. THEY SAID IT WAS VERY DANGEROUS. I KNOW FORD DENIES THE ISSUE BUT THIS IS ALL OVER THE INTERNET. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. I AM AWARE OF THE ISSUE SO I DRIVE IT LIKE IT'S A STICK SHIFT IN TRAFFIC AND ALWAYS HAVE MY FOOT READY FOR IT TO ACCELERATE. I CAN'T AFFORD TO BUY A NEW CALL AND WOULD NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE SELLING IT TO SOMEONE. I DO NOT WANT TO PUT SOMEONE'S LIFE AT RISK. I KNOW SOMEONE HAS TO DIE FOR SOMETHING TO HAPPEN BUT THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM
WE HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR OVER A YEAR TO GET THESE AIRBAGS REPLACED PER YOUR RECALL. WE GET CONSTANT REMINDERS AND EVERY TIME WE TAKE THE VEHICLE IN THEY SAY THEY DO NOT HAVE THE PARTS. WE ARE FRUSTRATED BECAUSE THIS RECALL IS MEANINGLESS AS THE DEALERS CANNOT COMMIT TO A TIME FRAME OF WHEN THE PARTS WILL COME IN. ON THE PASSENGER AIRBAG RECALL THE DEALERS ARE SAYING FORD WILL NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION ON EXPECTED PART AVAILABILITY.
CALLED SEVERAL TIMES TO HAVE RECALL OF AIRBAGS REPAIRED AND WAS TOLD TO JUST COME IN WITHOUT APPOINTMENT. WHEN I ARRIVED, THEY COULD ONLY REPLACE THE DRIVER AIRBAG AND REPROGRAM MODULE. THE PASSENGER AIR BAG PART IS BACK ORDERED PER FORD TECHNICIANS AND THEY DO NOT KNOW WHEN THEY WILL HAVE IT. APPARENTLY AT LEAST A 6 MONTH WAIT. I HAVE A TODDLER AND A NEWBORN AND IT CONCERNS ME THAT DESPITE MY EFFORTS TO HAVE RECALL ADDRESSED, WE STILL HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO BE ASSISTED ON THIS COMPLETELY. CONCERNED PARENT.

AND WHEN I CALL A FORD DEALER THEY CONFIRM THAT THE PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO REMEDY THE RECALL. IT'S BEEN OVER A YEAR, THE PART SHOULD AVAILABLE TO FIX THIS SUBSTANTIAL SAFETY ISSUE.
TAKATA RECALL: AFTER MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT FOR BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER AIRBAG INFLATOR RECALLS TO BE COMPLETED OVER THE PAST 2 YEARS - THEY STILL REMAIN UNFIXED. THE LAST ATTEMPT FINALLY SECURED AN APPOINTMENT (SATURDAY, JULY 8, 2017 - 4:00 PM). UPON ARRIVAL, I WAS INFORMED THAT I NEEDED TO LEAVE THE VEHICLE FOR 5-7 DAYS AS NO PARTS WERE AVAILABLE. WHEN I ASKED IF THEY HAD A RENTAL/LOANER PROGRAM AS I CANNOT BE WITHOUT TRANSPORTATION FOR THAT LONG, I WAS INFORMED THAT THEY ONLY HAVE 40 LOANERS AND THEY WERE ALL OUT. THEN I WAS INFORMED THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE A RENTAL PROGRAM. WHEN I EXPLAINED THAT THIS IS MY ONLY FORM OF TRANSPORTATION AND I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO HAVE THIS COMPLETED FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS, I WAS ADVISED I COULD EITHER LEAVE THE VEHICLE OR CONTACT ANOTHER DEALER. EVEN AFTER I EXPLAINED THAT I FEAR FOR BOTH MY FAMILY'S HE REPEATED HIMSELF STATING I COULD CONTACT ANOTHER DEALER AND WAS SENT AWAY. AS WE ALL KNOW, THIS RECALL HAS NOT ONLY CAUSED SERIOUSLY INJURIED, IT HAS TAKEN LIVES. I AM ASKING FOR NYOUR ASSISTANCE IN GETTING THESE RECALLS COMPLETED. I VALUE BOTH MINE AND MY FAMILY'S LIVES. I KNOW MANY HONDA OWNERS WHO HAVE HAD THEIR RECALLS COMPLETED WITHOUT HESITATION AND/OR ISSUES WITH THE COMPANY. NHTSA RECALL 16V384 WAS ISSUED A YEAR AGO FOR THE PASSENGER AIR BAG INFLATOR ON MY CAR. I PHONED THE FORD DEALER TODAY 6/26/2017 AND WAS TOLD THAT PARTS ARE STILL NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE REPAIR. IF FORD CAN OBTAIN MILLIONS OF AIR BAGS FOR THE NEW CARS THEY HAVE DESIGNED, MANUFACTURED, AND SOLD SINCE THIS RECALL WAS ISSUED, IT IS UNACCEPTABLE AND INEXCUSABLE THAT THEY CANNOT OBTAIN PARTS FOR THIS RECALL REPAIR IN A TIMELY MANNER.
TAMARA RECALL
I HAVE CALLED KENDALL FORD IN EUGENE TWO TIMES OVER THE PAST YEAR TO GET AN APPOINTMENT TO GET MY AIRBAGS REPLACED. I HAVE RECEIVED NO RESPONSE TO THIS ISSUE. WHAT CAN I DO?
WHILE BACKING OUT OF A DRIVEWAY WITH FOOT ON THE BRAKE, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED ON ITS OWN AND CRASHED INTO A DIRT EMBANKMENT. THE GAS PEDAL HAD NOT BEEN TOUCHED SINCE THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN STARTED, BUT THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED FORCEFULLY ENOUGH TO REDLINE THE ENGINE AND CAUSE SUBSTANTIAL BODY DAMAGE ON IMPACT. TAKING THE VEHICLE TO A DEALERSHIP FOR DIAGNOSTIC FOUND NO OBVIOUS ISSUES AND NO RECORDED ERROR CODES IN THE VEHICLE'S COMPUTER.
TAKATA RECALL - NO ISSUES. JUST A CONCERNED FORD OWNER WANTING TO KNOW IF THIS RECALL WILL BE FIXED.
FORD DEALERSHIPS ARE REFUSING TO WORKS ON MY 3 RECALLS. I HAVE TRIED 3 TIMES OVER THE PAST 3 YEARS AND KEEP GETTING THE SAME EXCUSE. "WE DONT HAVE THE PARTS, AND DONT KNOW WHEN WE WILL GET THEM." FORD OF ORANGE (CALIFORNIA). THEY REFUSE TO TAKE MY NAME DOWN OR CONTACT ME WHEN THEY DO HAVE THE PARTS. THEY AREN'T THE ONLY DEALERSHIP IN THE AREA EITHER. PLEASE FOLLOW-UP TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARE NOT TURNING DOWN CUSTOMERS FOR THE SAKE OF SAVING MONEY.

GALLAGHER FORD (4613, 650 30TH ST, ELKO, NV 89801) PERFORMED THE RECALL REPAIR ON FEBRUARY 15, 2019; HOWEVER, THEY USED A FAULTY COMPONENT THAT CAUSED THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR TO ILLUMINATE. THE DEALER HAD THE VEHICLE EVER SINCE AND WAS AWAITING THE PARTS TO PERFORM THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
TAKATA RECALL. THE RECALL WAS ISSUED IN JULY OF 2016. AFTER SEVERAL MONTH THE DRIVERS AIR BAS WAS REPLACED. WE HAVE CALLED FORD TWICE ABOUT THE PASSENGER AIR BAG REPLACEMENT. ALL THEY SAY IS THAT THE PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AND THAT THEY WILL CALL WHEN THE BECOME AVAILABLE. THERE HAS NOT BEEN AN ACCIDENT YET.
I HAVE A RECALL ON MY 2007 FORD MUSTANG SHELBY GT, FOR AIRBAGS. FORD DOES NOT HAVE A SOLUTION FOR THE RECALL. I THINK IT IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION DRIVING AROUND WITH RECALL AIRBAGS PUTTING THE DRIVER AND PASSENGERS IN A VERY COMPROMISED SITUATION. THEY ARE AWARE OF THE DANGER BECAUSE THEY THEMSELVES WOULD NOT EXCEPT A TRADE-IN MY VEHICLE (2007 FORD MUSTANG SHELBY GT ) BECAUSE FORD DOES NOT EXCEPT VEHICLE WITH OPEN RECALLS. EVEN IF IT'S THEIR OWN PRODUCT.
TAKATA RECALL: WE HAVE PURCHASED EARLY APRIL THE ABOVE REFERENCED CAR FROM A DEALER WHO DID NOT INFORM US ABOUT THE RECALL. BUSTED WHEELS AND TIRES .. THE CAR SLID A FEW 100 FEET SIDEWAYS ON FLAT TIRES BEFORE IT STOPPED I WAS VERY LUCKY TO SURVIVE.
