TAKATA RECALL MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN UNDER ACTIVE RECALL FOR ALMOST 18 MONTHS WITH NO RELIEF IN SIGHT. SINCE IT IS UNDER RECALL AND THERE ARE SAFETY ISSUES THIS AFFECTS MY ABILITY TO USE MY VEHICLE IN ANY APPRECIABLE WAY. IF FORD CAN'T BE MADE TO MANUFACTURE OR CONTRACT WITH A COMPANY TO MAKE THE NEEDED PARTS, THEN FORD SHOULD BE MADE TO REPURCHASE ALL OF THE AFFECTED VEHICLES AT ABOVE MARKET VALUE... SINCE THEY ARE DEFECTIVE AND FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND I CAN'T TRADE THE CAR IN AS DEALERSHIPS CAN'T RESELL THEM IN THIS DEFECTIVE STATE. I MEAN VW WAS MADE TO BUY BACK CARS JUST BECAUSE THE EMISSIONS SOFTWARE WAS MADE TO DECEIVE PEOPLE BUT THAT CARS WERE AT LEAST DRIVEABLE... TAKATA AIRBAG RECALL CARS ARE NOT USABLE AND SHOULD BE COLLECTED OFF THE STREETS (FOR GENERAL PUBLIC SAFETY).... SOMETHING LIKE THE 2009 GOV'T PROGRAM CASH FOR CARS (OR CASH FOR JUNKERS) WAS USED TO GET OLDER, LESS FUEL EFFICIENT CARS OFF THE ROAD.

TAKATA RECALL, JUN 01,2016, MANUFACTURER RECALL NUMBER16S26, NHTSA RECALL NUMBER16V384. PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG RECALL DATED 6-1-17. IN DECEMBER 2017 I AM NOTIFIED NOT TO LET ANYONE SIT IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. THIS EFFECTIVELY MAKES MY CAR A ONE PERSON CAR BECAUSE NO HUMAN ADULT CAN FIT IN THE REAR SEAT. I HAVE ASKED MY DEALER FOR A LOANER UNTIL THE AIRBAG IS REPLACED AND WAS DENIED. IT IS NOW 20 MONTHS SINCE THE ORIGINAL RECALL. CERTAINLY FORD IS SELLING NEW CARS WITH AIRBAGS. WHY HAS IT TAKEN SO LONG TO REPLACE MY AIRBAG? PLEASE FORCE FORD TO PROVIDE LOANER CARS IN ORDER TO MAKE THEM GET SERIOUS ABOUT THE RECALL. THEY SOURCED THE INADEQUATE TAKATA AIRBAGS. THIS IS A FORD PROBLEM, THEM SHOULD HAVE ACTED IN A TIMELY MANNER.

THE CLUTCH IS SLIPPING AT ONLY 10,000 MILES, THE CAR CANT EVEN MAKE IT UP A GENTLE GRADE WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL ON ! IT CANNOT MAINTAIN SPEED IT CANT HANDLE WHEN YOU GIVE GAS TO ACCELERATE TO FREEWAY SPEED WHEN ENTERING THE ONRAMP TO FREEWAY. THIS HAS TO BE THE SLOWEST SHELBY ON THE ROAD.

I HAVE A 2007MANUAL MUSTANG SHELBY GT WITH 60000 MILES EVERY TIME I SLOW DOWN TO STOP THE CAR STALLS. SO FAR I HAVE OWNED 3 MUSTANGS AND IT HAS DONE IT ON ALL 3 OF THEM. OBVIOUSLY THIS ISN'T JUST A COINCIDENCE IT HAS TO BE A MANUFACTURER PROBLEM I'VE CLEANED THE THROTTLE BODY DONE ALL THE REQUIRED MAINTENANCES CHANGED SOME SENSORS NOTHING NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT NO VACUUM LEAKS IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO TROUBLESHOOT

"TAKATA RECALL" I HAVE HAD MY MUSTANG TO THE FORD DEALER 2 TIMES NOW TO DEAL WITH THE AIR BAG RECALL. THEY DIDNT COMPLETE THE WORK. THEY ONLY DID 1/2 THE JOB AND SAID THEY WOULD CALL ME WHEN THEY RECEIVED THE REST OF THE PARTS NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE REPAIR. NOW I UNDERSTAND THERE IS NO REMEDY. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR OVER 1 YEAR AND I NEED TO USE MY CAR. CANT SELL IT BECAUSE IT HAS AN ACTIVE RECALL. WHAT AM I TO DO? DRIVE A DANGEROUS CAR AND POSSIBLY HURT MY GRANDKIDS? TAKATA RECALL - MY SAFETY RECALL NOTICE 16S26 / NHTSA RECALL 16V-384 FOR 2 YEARS, I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THIS INFLATOR RECALL RESOLVED WITH FORD. I HAVE BEEN TOLD MULTIPLE TIMES PARTS ARE NOT YET AVAILABLE. I UNDERSTAND THIS IS A VERY LARGE RECALL, BUT 2 YEARS IS UNREASONABLE AND I NEED THIS REPAIRED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
TAKATA RECALL: I'M NOT ABLE TO TRANSPORT ANY INDIVIDUAL IN THE FRONT SEAT OF MY CAR AND THAT IS AN INCONVENIENCE. I THINK THIS HAS BEEN AN ISSUE FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS.
2007 FORD MUSTANG. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE TRANSMISSION MALFUNCTION. CONSUMER HAS PREVIOUS CORRESPONDENCE WITH 2 DIFFERENT VEHICLES WITH DIFFERENT ISSUES. *LD THE CONSUMER STATED THE TRANSMISSION MALFUNCTIONED. THE RADIO AMPLIFIERS LOST POWER WHILE THE RADIO WAS PLAYING AND THE CD SLOT WAS INOPERABLE. THE ENGINE FRONT CRANK OIL SEAL BLEW OUT, CAUSING THE ENGINE TO LEAK OIL WHILE DRIVING.THERE WAS A SCAR OR CUT ON TIMING COVER. THE BALL JOINTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *JS

CAR WAS PARKED IN MY DRIVEWAY AND AFTER A RAIN STORM I NOTICED THE PASSENGER FLOOR WAS SOAKED WITH WATER. WATER LEAKS IN FROM THE CABIN AIR FILTER AND DRIPS ONTO THE FUSE JUNCTION BOX ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CAR. WHEN DRAIN HOLES IN COWL GETS CLOGGED WATER BUILDS UP AND THEN POURS IN THE CABIN FILTER THEN INTO PASSENGER SIDE FLOODING CARPET. AS WATER DRIPS DOWN IT MAKES CONTACT WITH THE F J B AND STARTS TO MESS WITH THE ELECTRICAL PARTS, IE POWER WINDOWS GO UP AND DOWN BY THEMSELVES, DASH LIGHT WON'T SHUT OFF, RADIO WILL NOT TURN OFF AND CONVERTIBLE ROOF KEEPS TRYING TO GO UP AND DOWN. ONLY FIX IS TO REPLACE AND REPROGRAM THE FJB BUT FORD NO LONGER MAKES THIS PART BECAUSE OF THE KNOWN ISSUES. I AM TOLD EITHER TO WAIT FOR REPLACEMENT UNIT TO BE DEVELOPED OR BUY A USED ONE AND HOPE IT WILL WORK EITHER WAY STILL HAVE TO PAY $400.00 FOR PART AND $250.00 FOR REPROGRAMMING. THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM THAT IS BEING PASSED ONTO THE CONSUMER .THIS HAS HAPPENED TO NOT 1 BUT BOTH OF MY MUSTANGS 2005 AND 2007 , SAME STYLE WITH SAME PROBLEMS
I RECIEVED A RECALL NOTICE, 14B09. I PLACE A CALL TO THE DEALERSHIP IN MY AREA, AUTO CENTER FORD, AND THEY CLAIM TO HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE RECALL. I THEN ASKED TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER AND WAS DISCONNECTED 3 TIMES. I WAS THEN SUDDENLY, WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE, SENT TO A VOICEMAIL FOR THE SERVICE MANAGER. I LEFT MY NAME AND NUMBER WITH THE REASON FOR MY CALL AND HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANY RESPONSES.

NOTICE EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 2015- TO DATE NO PARTS AVAILABLE TO PERFORM THE REPAIR DUE TO FORD............
I WAS SOLD A USED 2007 FORD MUSTANG GT AT THE END OF 2016. THE DEALER TOLD ME THERE WAS A RECALL, BUT SAID IT WAS NOT AN IMPORTANT ONE. IT TURNS OUT THE RECALL IS A TAKATA AIRBAG. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THE VEHICLE, THE DEALERSHIP THAT SOLD ME THE VEHICLE WILL NOT RETURN MY CALLS AND I NO LONGER WANT TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE.
A TREE WAS IN THE ROAD AND I ATTEMPTED TO SWERVE PAST THE TREE AND HIT IT HEAD ON ROLLED OVER THE MEDIAN HIT ANOTHER TREE IN MEDIAN AND THE HIT A WALL ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SIDE OF THE STREET. THERE WAS FORCE TO FRONT END DRIVER SIDE AND PASSENGER SIDE THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY

there was a recall for my airbag in may of 2015, i purchased the vehicle in june of 2015. in october of 2015 i was involved in a serious MVA. my airbag did not deploy properly and the metal shards cut my face open. along with the faulty airbag my seatbelt did not lock up properly and i was almost ejected out of the vehicle. i started receiving mail and phone calls about fixing my faulty airbag in january of 2016. i had no idea there was even a recall for my vehicle until after my accident.
FAULTY BALL JOINTS CAUSED ME TO HIT A CONCRETE BARRICADE AT 70MPH ON I-540 NORTH BOUND.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD MUSTANG. WHILE DRIVING A HIGHWAY RATE OF SPEED, THERE WAS A STRONG VIBRATION COMING FROM THE STEERING WHEEL. THE STEERING WHEEL JERKED TO THE RIGHT AND CAUSED THE CONTACT TO CRASH INTO A CONCRETE BARRIER AND A SIGN. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED NECK PAINS AND BACK PAINS THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL TREATMENT. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A SALVAGE YARD BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER TO DETERMINE THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS INCLUDED, BUT THE CONTACT DID NOT RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 14V802000 (AIR BAGS) AND 15V319000 (AIR BAGS). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
