A TREE WAS IN THE ROAD AND I ATTEMPTED TO SWERVE PAST THE TREE AND HIT IT HEAD ON ROLLED OVER THE MEDIAN HIT ANOTHER TREE IN MEDIAN AND THE HIT A WALL ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SIDE OF THE STREET. THERE WAS FORCE TO FRONT END DRIVER SIDE AND PASSENGER SIDE THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD MUSTANG. WHILE DRIVING A HIGHWAY RATE OF SPEED, THERE WAS A STRONG VIBRATION COMING FROM THE STEERING WHEEL. THE STEERING WHEEL JERKED TO THE RIGHT AND CAUSED THE CONTACT TO CRASH INTO A CONCRETE BARRIER AND A SIGN. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED NECK PAINS AND BACK PAINS THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL TREATMENT. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A SALVAGE YARD BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER TO DETERMINE THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS INCLUDED, BUT THE CONTACT DID NOT RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 14V802000 (AIR BAGS) AND 15V319000 (AIR BAGS). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.

THE VEHICLE STARTED TO STEER TOWARDS THE RIGHT WHICH CAUSED THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE TO CRASH INTO A CONCRETE BARRICADE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE LOWER NECK AND LUMBAR TENDON BRUISES AND SWELLING. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS REQUIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 100,000.

MY FORD MUSTANG 2007 BEGAN TO HAVE DIFFICULTY TURNING WHILE THE AIR CONDITIONER IS TURNED ON, OUT OF THE PARKED POSITION UPON INITIAL CRANK OF VEHICLE. I'VE TAKEN THIS VEHICLE TO THE DIABLO FORD DEALERSHIP FOR INSPECTION & TEST OVER THE COURSE OF 1 WEEK. THEY'VE REPAIRED SEVERAL PARTS HOWEVER, NONE OF WHICH HAVE RESOLVED THIS ISSUE AND THERE IS A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN. AFTER LEAVING THE DEALERSHIP THE FIRST UPON ALLEGED COMPLETION OF THIS PROBLEM I ALMOST TURNED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE TRYING TO GET THE WHEEL TO TURN WHILE THE AC WAS ON. IT IS VERY SCARY TO HAVE YOUR WHEEL TENSE UP ALL OF A SUDDEN TO THE POINT IT REQUIRES SO MUCH FORCE TO AVOID HITTING ANOTHER VEHICLE. *TR
ON MY 2007 MUSTANG GT. THE LOWER BALL JOINT ON LEFT SIDE WOULD NOT PASS PA STATE INSPECTION @ 16,700 MILES AND RIGHT SIDE WENT BAD AND WOULD NOT PASS INSPECTION AT @ 29,800 MILES. THE INSPECTIONS WERE DONE AT A FORD DEALER. EACH TIME THE COST IS OVER $500.00. FORD DID SPLIT THE COST AFTER I COMPLAINED ABOUT THE FIRST ISSUE. I HAVE CHECKED A FEW MUSTANG SITES AND HAVE FOUND OUT OTHERS HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUES WITH CARS 2005-06-07 AND 08 MUSTANGS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD MUSTANG. WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE POWER STEERING FAILED AND ALL WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED ON THE DASHBOARD. THE CONTACT ALSO OBSERVED SMOKE COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD AND MOVED THE VEHICLE OFF THE ROADWAY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE LOCAL DEALER WHERE HE WAS INFORMED THAT THE HARMONIC BALANCER HAD BROKEN. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 75,000.
I HAD FILED A COMPLAINT A FEW WEEKS AGO ( ODI# 10192797) ABOUT THE POWER STEERING PUMP FAILURE ON MY 2007 MUSTANG GT WHICH HAD 270 MILES ON IT. THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE PUMP UNDER THE WARRANTY AND I HAD MENTIONED A PROBLEM WITH THE FRONT END ALSO. I RETURNED THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP AND TO MY DISMAY, WAS TOLD THAT THEY HAD TO REPLACE MY FRONT STRUTS, THEY EXPLAINED THAT THIS WAS THE CAUSE OF MY ALIGNMENT ISSUE. THEY FURTHER EXPLAINED TO ME THAT THEY THINK THAT WHILE MY CAR WAS BEING TRANSPORTED VIA TRAIN, THAT THEY TIED THE CAR DOWN TOO TIGHTLY CAUSING STRESS ON THE STRUTS AND CASTERS CAUSING THE ALIGNMENT AND STEERING WHEEL ISSUES. THE WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND COVERED UNDER WARRANTY AND ALTHOUGH THE ALIGNMENT ISSUE HAS BEEN SOLVED AND THE STEERING WHEEL BACK IN ITS NORMAL POSITION I HAVE NOTICED A THUMPING NOISE FROM THE RIGHT FRONT WHEN GOING OVER BUMPS, ALMOST LIKE A BAD STRUT MOUNT OR SOMETHING. IN ALL FAIRNESS TO THE DEALERSHIP WHO IS FIXING MY CAR, THEY HAVE BEEN EXCELLENT WITH ME AND THIS HAS ALL BEEN COVERED UNDER WARRANTY . MY CAR NOW HAS 1,700 MILES ON IT AND AM WORRIED I MAY HAVE TO SWAP IT OUT FOR ANOTHER WHICH I REALLY DO NOT WANT TO DO AT THIS POINT, IT TOOK A LOT OF RESEARCH TO MIX AND MATCH ALL THE COLORS AND THE OPTIONS THAT MY CAR HAS. *TR
2007 FORD MUSTANG GT HAS INTERMITTENT BRAKING PROBLEMS, IT PULLED HARD RIGHT/LEFT. I HAVE BEEN TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE TWICE, THE FIRST TIME THEY FELT IT AND CUT THE ROTORS. THE SECOND TIME THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE PROBLEM. I WENT TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP, WHO DETERMINED THIS CAR SHOULD GO TO ENGINEERING ,AND PROBABLY SHOULD BE BOUGHT BACK. AT THE TIME THE SERVICE MANAGER DROVE IT THE VEHICLE WAS ALL OVER THE ROAD. I CONTACTED FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, MOST RECENT ON 06/15/07, AND THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO CONTACT ME, NOTHING DONE AS OF YET. I AM STILL DRIVING THIS CAR AND IT IS NOT SAFE. I HAD NO CHOICE, IT WAS MY EVERYDAY VEHICLE. I TOLD FORD THEY SHOULD GET ME A CAR TO DRIVE, BUT NO RESPONSE. *AK
PURCHASED THE VEHICLE OUT OF THE SHOWROOM ALTHOUGH IT HAD 81 MILES ON IT. ON MY 3RD DAY WITH 240 MILES ON IT, THE POWER STEERING PUMP STOPPED WORKING. I HAD THE CAR SERVICED AND THE REPLACED THE PUMP. THE NEXT DAY, I NOTICED THE CAR PULLING TO THE LEFT AND THE STEERING WHEEL WAS OFF CENTER, ALSO TO THE LEFT. I HAVE AN APPT TO DEAL WITH THE NEW ISSUE. I ALSO NOTICE THAT THE CAR IS VERY SKITTISH ON BUMPS, I DONT KNOW IF THATS DUE TO THE LARGE TIRES (18) OR NOT.
