I NEED TO GET A WAIVER FROM THE NATIONAL SAFETY ADMINISTRATION TO HAVE FORD DISABLE MY PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG UNTIL SUCH TIME THAT THEY REPAIR IT. NO PASSENGER CAN RIDE IN THIS TRUCK WITHOUT RISKING SERIOUS INJURY. I SHOULD BE ABLE TO USE MY TRUCK AND CARRY PASSENGERS SAFELY.THERE IS NO REAL DATE GIVEN BY FORD AS TO WHEN THE REPAIR IS TO BE COMPLETED.
DUE TO RUST HAVE TO REPLACED THE REAR BUMPER. THE CONSUMER STATED THE TAILGATE WAS ALSO RUSTED. THE ENTIRE REAR FRAME WAS RUSTED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *JS
TAKATA RECALL - RECEIVED A NOTICE FROM FORD THAT REMEDY PARTS FOR AIRBAG INFLATOR REPLACEMENT WILL BE DELAYED UNTIL SPRING OF 2018. IN THE MEANTIME, DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO SIT IN THE FIRST ROW PASSENGER SEAT. BIG PROBLEM FOR US AS THIS IS OUR ONLY VEHICLE AND WE MUST HAVE A TWO-SEATER VEHICLE EVERY DAY. DEALERSHIP REFUSES TO PROVIDE A LOANER OR RENTAL.
THE PASSENGER FRONTAL AIRBAG INFLATOR COULD RUPTURE IF THE VEHICLE IS INVOLVED IN A CRASH WHERE THE SUPPLEMENTAL FRONTAL AIRBAGS ARE DESIGNED TO DEPLOY. THIS DEFECT REPORT IS IN RESPONSE TO TAKATA DIRS 16E-042, 16E-043, 16E-044.
TAKATA RECALL: THIS RECALL CAME OUT MORE THAN 1 YEAR AGO AND FORD STILL DOES NOT HAVE PARTS AND UPON CALLING THEM I WAS TOLD THAT NO ONE KNOWS WHEN THEY WILL HAVE THE PARTS. MY TRUCK IS ESSENTIALLY UNUSABLE AS A FAMILY VEHICLE BECAUSE I DON'T WANT MY PASSENGER TO DIE... MY FORD TRUCK CANNOT BE USED FOR WHAT I BOUGHT IT FOR BECAUSE IT IS UNSAFE AND FORD ISN'T DOING ANYTHING TO FIX IT.

I CALLED ABOUT THIS RECALL OVER 3 YEARS AGO AND I JUST CALLED NORM REEVES FORD IN CERRITOS, CA. AND THEY TOLD ME TO CONTACT FORD MOTOR CO. AND NO ONE HAS AN ANSWER, I WANT MY AIRBAG FIXED!

TAKATA RECALL. RECEIVED LETTER IN JULY 2016, CALLED FORD MOTOR CO. TO SCHEDULE A SERVICE APPOINTMENT. RECEIVED LETTER BACK INFORMING ME FORD MOTOR CO WOULD SEND A LETTER TO INFORM ME WHEN PARTS WERE AVAILABLE AND TO CONTACT A DEALER. I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEN SINCE JULY 2016. I HAVE NOT HAD RECALL AIRBAGS REPLACED.
TAKATA RECALL THE RECALL CAME OUT ON JUNE 1, 2016. I CONTACTED A FORD DEALERSHIP IN NOVEMBER OF 2016. THEY HAD NO FURTHER INFORMATION OF THE TAKATA AIRBAG RECALL. EVERY WEBSITE HAS SAID I WOULD BE CONTACTED BY A FORD DEALERSHIP WHEN THE PARTS COME IN. I HAVE RECENTLY CONTACTED THEM (11/3/17) AFTER HEARING NOTHING. AND THE FORD DEALERSHIP ALONG WITH FORD STILL DO NOT HAVE AN ANSWER TO FIXING THE RECALL.
TAKATA RECALL, NHTSA RECALL #16V384, MANUFACTURER RECALL #16S26 MY RANGER IS IN ZONE A (BEING IT ORIGINATED IN CALIFORNIA), AS DEFINED BY PARAGRAPH 7 OF THE AMENDMENT TO NOV. 3, 2015 CONSENT ORDER ISSUED TO TAKATA BY THE NHTSA ON MAY 4, 2016. WHICH MEANS IT'S IN PRIORITY GROUPS 4-12. I HAVE CONTACTED THE LOCAL FORD DEALER: BARBER FORD IN HOLLAND MI 49423 AT 616-396-2361 WITH THE NHTSA RECALL # AS WELL AS THE MANUFACTURER RECALL #. THEY CONFIRMED IS WAS A VALID NUMBER. BUT SAID WE DON'T HAVE PARTS TO REPLACE. TO MY THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FROM FORD MOTOR COMPANY. PRIORITY GROUP 7 IS SUPPOSED TO BE FIXED BY DEC. 31, 2017 AND I HAVE NEVER HEARD FROM FORD MOTOR CO. THAT MY VEHICLE IS INVOLVED IN THE RECALL. I AM QUESTIONING WHETHER FORD MOTOR CO IS TREATING THIS VEHICLE IN A TIMELY MANNER BEING IT ORIGINATED IN CALIFORNIA.
TAKATA RECALL. WE WERE NOTIFIED IN JUNE/JULY 2016. WE HAVE CALLED REPEATEDLY AND THE FORD DEALER STILL DOES NOT HAVE THE PARTS FOR THE RECALL. IT IS NOW NOV 2017. NO PASSENGERS CAN RIDE IN OUR TRUCK WHICH IS MUCH MORE THAN A BIG INCONVENIENCE. OBVIOUSLY A SAFETY PROBLEM. THIS IS NOT BEING FIXED IN A TIMELY MANNER. MY SUBARU WAS ALSO UNDER RECALL AND IT WAS FIXED IN APRIL 2017 WHICH REALLY WAS NOT VERY TIMELY EITHER.

FILLED OUT INFO AND WAS PROVIDED NEAREST CERTIFIED DEALERSHIP TO GET FIXED. THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T FIX IT UNTIL I RECEIVED NOTICE FROM FORD.

TAKATA RECALL. I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR WELL OVER A YEAR TO GET THIS FIXED. I HAVE CALLED THE FORD DEALERSHIP MULTIPLE TIMES, SIGNED UP WITH THIS HOTLINE AND DONE EVERYTHING I CAN DO TRY AND GET THIS SAFETY FEATURE FIXED.
HAVING A HARD TIME GETTING ROUSH FORD 5575 KIEM CIRCLE COLUMBUS OHIO 43228-7329 TO ORDER AND REPLACE MY TAKATA PASSENGER AIRBAG THEY KEEP TELLING ME THEY HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO ORDER THE PART HAD MY TRUCK IN THERE FOR REPAIRS 4 OR 5 TIMES OVER THE LAST TWO YEARS EVERYTIME TELLING ME I HAVE TO CONTACT YOU GUYS MYSELF, TIRED OF THE BS WANT MY TRUCK FIXED, THANKS CAN YOU HELP ME.
FORD IS THE WORST THEY SHOULD BE UNDER INVESTIGATION IT HAS BEEN AT LEAST A YEAR SINCE I RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER FOR MY AIRBAG I HAVE CONTACTED THEM THROUGH EMAIL AND PHONE CALLS IN BETWEEN AND THEY KEEP TELLING ME THAT THE PART IS NOT AVAILABLE TO BE SENT OUT TO ANYONE TO PERFORM THE WORK I DO NOT HAVE THE RECALL NUMBER OFF HAND BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN SO LONG IF SOMEONE COULD PLEASE HELP ME BECAUSE THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE BECAUSE LIVES COULD BE IN JEOPARDY
