MOTOR MOUNTS FAILED PRIOR TO RECALL NOTICE.
EI99009.PE99015; WHEN WINDSHIELD WIPERS ARE ON THEY HESITATE AND DO NOT WORK PROPERLY. PROBLEM OCCURS INTERMITTENTLY AS IF A SHORT IS IN THE MOTOR WIRING OR SWITCH. DEALER CONTACTED AND CANNOT REMEDY THE PROBLEM. PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. *AK
CONSUMER WAS INVOLVED IN A 2 MPH FRONTAL COLLISION IN WHICH THE DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER'S AIR BAGS DEPLOYED, CAUSING INJURIES. PLEASE GIVE FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
ELECTRICAL SHORT, CAUSING IGNITION SWITCH FAILURE. WHEN IGNTION WAS TURNED ON IT WILL TURN OFF BY ITSELF, IN FOR REPAIRS, REPLACED SWITCH. *AK
DURING REAR IMPACT, THE DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT BELT DETACHED FROM BELT BUCKLE. CAUSE UNKNOWN. *AK
ALTERNATOR WENT BAD, CAUSE UNKNOWN. *AK
WHILE DRIVING DRIVER PASSED OUT, HIT POWER POLE, AIR BAGS DID NOT INFLATE PROPERLY. ALSO SHOULDER HARNESS FAILED TO HOLD DRIVER. DRIVER SUFFERED HEAD INJURIES/MASSIVE BRUISES AND A BROKEN LEFT ARM.
WHILE WAITING IN LINE IN PARKING LOT THE LEFT FRONT SPRING CRACKED IN HALF. OWNER NOTES THAT IF HE HAD BEEN ON HIGHWAY THIS COULD HAVE BEEN FATAL, OWNER IS VERY CONCERNED. *AK
DRIVER HIT A LIGHT POLE AND THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG DIDN'T DEPLOY. *AK
FUEL PUMP FAILURE.
HEAD GASKET FAILED.
HEAD LAMP SWITCH OVERHEATED AND FAILED.
TWICE THE REAR BRAKE CALIPER HAS FROZEN ITS PISTON FORCING THE BRAKE PADS TO BE CONTINUOUSLY PUSHED AGAINST THE ROTOR. THE INSIDE WEARS DOWN TO THE RIVETS GOUGING THE ROTOR AND OVERHEATING, THE OUTBOARD PAD SHOWS NO WEAR AT ALL.
TRANSMISSION STARTED FAILING
MOTOR MOUNTS FAILED.
ENGINE MOUNTS FAILED, RECALL ON COMPONENT, HOWEVER VEHICLE DENIED DUE TO (STATE) LOCATION NOT INCLUDED IN RECALL.(93V106002).
RECALLS 98V094/98I-002, FRONT COIL SPRINGS; AND RECALL 93V-106, REAR SUBFRAME MOUNTS. THESE RECALLS DO NOT COMPLY WITH THIS VEHICLE BECAUSE OF 3.0 LITER ENGINE. VEHICLE HAS EXPERIENCED ALL PROBLEMS SIMILAR TO THOSE MENTIONED IN THE RECALLS. DEALER IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEMS. PROBLEMS STILL EXIST. VEHICLE WILL BE REPAIRED AT OWNER'S EXPENSE. PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. *AK

HEADLIGHTS WOULD GO ON AND OFF FIRST TIME, AND SECOND TIME HEADLIGHTS DID NOT WORK AT ALL. WHEN CONTACTING DEALER, DEALER STATED THAT CONSUMER'S VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN RECALL 98V025000. *AK
RECALL 98V009, DUE TO THE DEFECTIVE HEADLAMP SWITCH, THE HEADLIGHTS TURN OFF WHILE IN USE WHICH MAY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. DEALER REPLACED SWITCH 3 TIMES. *AK
SOLENOID VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY FAILED, CAUSING ABS LIGHT TO COME ON.
EA96-019, HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY FAILURE, WHEN DRIVING HEADLIGHTS GO OUT WITHOUT WARNING. *AK
SEAT PUT MY CHILD SEAT IN THE CAR AND TRIED TO TIGHTEN THE THE BELT AND THE CABLE JUST CAME APART. *AK
THE ABS WARNING LIGHT IS ON BECAUSE THE HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT HAS FAILED. PROBLEM DIAGNOSED BY A MECHANIC BUT NOT CORRECTED. *AK

WIPER MOTOR FAILED CAUSING THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS TO STOP WORKING DURING A RAIN STORM RESULTING IN POOR VISIBILITY.
HEADLIGHT FAILURE, CAUSING POOR VISIBILITY.
ALTERNATOR FAILED- REPLACED ALTERNATOR WAS A REMANUFACTURED PART BUT NOT INFORMED BY DEALER AND CHARGED AS NEW. *AK
AT 14K MIL DRIVE STEERING GEAR BROKE INTO PIECES AND TRAVELLED THROUGH THE ENGINE; OIL PUMP REQUIRED REPLACEMENT IN ADDITION TO THE GEAR REPLACEMENT; NO REASON FOR FAILURE ID BY DEALER
WHEN SWITCHING FROM LOW BEAM TO HIGH BEAM THE HEADLIGHTS WILL GO OFF AND NOT COME BACK ON UNLESS DRIVER HOLDS THE SWITCH ON HIGH BEAM. SEVERAL TIMES THE HEADLIGHTS HAS GONE OFF FOR NO APPARENT REASON. VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN SEEN BY A DEALER. *AK
ANTILOCK BRAKES FAILED 6 TIMES, ONCE CAUSING ACCIDENT.

VEHICLE EXPERIENCES ROUGH IDLE CONTINUALLY, REPLACEMENT OF FUEL PUMP AND AIR BYPASS DID NOT RECTIFY PROBLEMS. MJS
