IGNITION SWITCH IS LOOSE, KEY DOES NOT GO INTO IGNITION, CHIME KEEPS RINGING, DRIVER COULD BECOME STRANDED/NOT ABLE TO START MOTOR, IF THIS OCCURS, DANGEROUS SITUATION.*AK
AIR BAG FAILED TO DEPLOY IN FRONTAL IMPACT RESULTINGIN DEATH.
DAUGHTER KILLED WHEN AIR BAG FAILED TO DEPLOY ON FRONTAL IMPACT. MFRS HAVE INVESTIGATED AND CONCLUDED AIR BAG WAS DISABLED, PROBABLY INTENTIONALLY, PRIOR TO CRASH. FACTS SEEM INCONSISTENT WITH THIS CONCLUSION.
HEADLIGHT FAILURE, WHILE TRAVELING ON THE HIGHWAY THE HEADLIGHTS FAILED FOR A FEW SECONDS AND CAME BACK ON AND THEN WENT OUT AGAIN. PLEASE DESCRIBE THE PROBLEM. *AK
THE HEADLAMPS HAVE BEEN FLASHING AND EVENTUALLY THEY FINALLY WENT COMPLETLY OFF.*AK

REPAIRMAN SAID PROBLEM WITH A/C DUE TO INADEQUATE CLEARANCE FROM GROUND. SAME WITH OIL AND TRANSMISSION PANS?
STEERING GEAR BINDING INTERNALLY CAUSING THE STEERING WHEEL TO LOCK UP WHILE MANUVERING A CURVE RESULTING IN LOSS OF CONTROL.
WARPED ROTORS:AFTER AWHILE THE ROTORS BECAME SO WARPED WE HAD TO PUT NEW ONES ON. WATER PUMP:THE CAR KEPT OVERHEATING AND THE WATER PUMP HAD FAILED. RADIATOR: THE ORIGINAL RADIATOR STARTED LEAKING OUT ALL OF THE FLUID. HEAD GASKETS: THE HEATER IN THE CAR WOULD NOT WORK PROPERLY AND CAR WOULD NOT HOLD COOLANT FOR VERY LONG. FUEL PUMP:THE CAR WOULD NOT RUN AFTER DRIVING ABOUT 45 MINUTES. TRANSMISSION: IT WENT OUT ON US AT THE SIDE OF ROAD WHEN WE WERE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH FUEL PUMP. ALL OF A SUDDEN WE SMELLED SOMETHING VERY HOT, AND IT WENT OUT ON US WHEN THE CAR WAS RUNNING. *AK
VEHICLE OCCASIONALLY WILL JERK AS IF HIT IN REAR BY ANOTHER VEHICLE.
TRANSMISSION GEAR FAILED TO SHIFT DUE TO INADEQUATE LUBRICATION.
CONSUMER WAS DRIVING AND THE DRIVER'S SIDE POWER WINDOW GOES UP AND DOWN . PLEASE DESCRIBE .

FAILURE ON THE REAR TURN SIGNAL, THE REAR TURN SIGNAL BULBS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN.*AK
DRIVING VEHICLE, ARRIVED HOME, PARKED VEHICLE, TURNED OFF IGNITION SWITCH, VEHICLE STILL RUNNING AFTER KEY IS REMOVED FROM IGNITION SWITCH, HAVE TO PULL DISTRIBUTOR PLUG IN ORDER TO HAVE THE VEHICLE TO STOP. *AK
STARTER REPLACED DUE TO VEHICLE STALLING.

HEADLIGHT WIRES SHORTED OUT, CAUSING FAILURE OF HEADLIGHTS/POOR VISIBILITY. *SD
WHILE DRIVING THE HEADLIGHTS GO OUT BY THEMSELVES. *AK
BRAKES FAILED DUE TO WORN REAR DRUM AND MASTER CYLINDER.
THERE WAS A FRONTAL IMPACT AND THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. EXPLAIN IN MORE DETAIL. *AK

FAULTY WINDSHIELD WIPER PARTS. WIPER WAS REPAIRS ON TWO OCCASIONS BY DEALER AT APPROX. 60,000 MILE OF WEAR. CURRENTLY, AT APPROXIMATELY 60,000 MORE MILES, WINDSHIELD WIPER FAILURE REOCCURRED. DEALER NOTIFIED. *AK
A/C LINE BLEW OUT, CAUSING WHITE SMOKE TO ENTER INSIDE OF VEHICLE, ALSO REPLACED MUFFLER. *AK
PE96-018 ACTIVE, HEADLIGHT FAILURE, WHEN DRIVING AND TURNING, HEADLIGHTS GO OFF WITH NO WARNING. *AK
WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT, HEADLIGHTS CUT OFF/WENT OUT WITHOUT WARNING, DRIVER PULLED TO SIDE OF ROAD, TURNED OFF LIGHTS/TURNED BACK ON, LIGHTS OK, HAPPENED TWICE WITHIN 1/2 HOUR; 1 WEEK LATER, HAPPENED AGAIN, IMPAIRED DRIVER'S VISION, DRIVING HAZARD.*AK

DEALER SAYS THAT IGNITION CYLINDER IS STICKING, BUT WILL NOT FIX IT UNLESS THE OWNER PAYS $98.00, AND SHE IS NOT GOING TO PAY FOR THIS BECAUSE OWNER THINKS THAT THIS VEHICLE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ONE OF THE RECALLS THAT WAS LISTED ON FORD&LINCOLN&MERCURY. *AK

WINDSHIELD WIPER GOVERNOR FAILED CAUSING WINDSHIELD WIPERS TO MALFUNCTION ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS WHEN DRIVING, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS WILL STOP WORKING WHEN ON INTERMITTEN MODE, THEN CAN NOT ENGAGE LOW SPEED OR HIGH SPEED MODE.*JB
VEHICLE STALLING INTERMITTENTLY, AT ANY SPEED/ANY TIME. DEALER STATED THIS WAS DUE TO A FAULTY IGNITION DEVICE. *AK VEHICLE WILL NOT START WHETHER IT IS IN PARK OR NEUTRAL. STARTER, SPARKPLUGS, AND BATTERY HAVE BEEN REPLACED, DOOR CHIME WOULD SOUND WHEN KEYS WERE NOT IN IGNITION. TRANSMISSION SLIPPING AND EXPERIENCES ERRATIC SHIFTING. FAULTY FRONT STRUTS CAUSE VEHICLE TO OVERSTEER, TIRES WERE ROTATED AND FRONT WAS ALIGNED TO HELP PROBLEM, HOWEVER DID NOT REMEDY. DASHBOARD RATTLES, HOWEVER DEALER CAN NOT REMEDY THIS PROBLEM. DRIVER SIDE DOOR DOES NOT CLOSE PROPERLY AND THERE IS WIND NOISE WHEN DRIVEN OVER 20 MPH, LEFT DOOR WAS NOT ALIGNED PROPERLY. KEYLESS ENTRY FAILED, PASSENGER SIDE REAR DOOR LOCK INOPERABLE. EMERGENCY BRAKE WAS NEVER INSTALLED. THERE IS A CONSISENT WIND SOUND IN VEHICLE. FRONT END EXPERIENCED SHAKING. EXCESSIVE FUEL CONSUMPTION. DIFFICULT AND NOISY STEERING OCCURRED, DEALER REPLACED POWER STEERING LINE. FRONT BRAKE PADS REPLACED. EXHAUST REPLACED. FUEL PUMP REPLACED. WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH WAS REPLACED. VEHICLE CURRENTLY HAS ONLY 47114 MILES ON. *SLC

CAR WAS TAKEN IN FOR A RECALL ON MOTOR MOUNTS. ABOUT A YEAR AND HALF LATER MOTOR WAS LIFTING OUT OF CAR, AND CAR WAS RUNNING ROUGH. *AK
