THERE IS OFTEN A GRUMBLING SOUND THAT COMES FROM THE TRUNK AREA WHEN VEHICLE IS STARTED. THE PROBLEM HAS BEGUN AFTER REPAIRS WERE MADE TO THE COMPUTERIZED FUEL DEVICE.
WAS INVOLVED IN A 45 MPH FRONTAL COLLISION IN WHICH THE DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER'S AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, CAUSING THE OCCUPANT TO SUSTAIN INJURIES. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
HEAD LIGHT SWITCH FAILED, RECALL WORK DENIED DUE TO VIN#.
AFTER BOUGHT CAR IN A WEEK, SLOW DOWN OR STOP, MAKE TURN, TRANSMISSION SLIPS TO NEUTRAL ON ITS OWN, TAKE A WHITE THEN A VIOLENT JERK WHEN ACCELARATED/REV UP TO ENGAGE TO GEAR AGAIN.
DURING HOT WEATHER THE ENGINE HEATS UP AND STALLS OUT. THE VEHICLE WILL STAY OFF FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES THEN START UP AGAIN. HAS HAPPENED AT LEAST 10 TIMES. DEALER CAN'T FIND ANY FAULTS. *AK
CONSUMER WAS INVOLVED IN A 25 MPH FRONTAL COLLISION IN WHICH THE DRIVER'S OR PASSENGER'S AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK

WHEN PULLING UP TO A CORNER VEHICLE PULLS FORWARD AND COMES TO A COMPLETE STOP. PROBLEM IS INTERMITTENT. DEALER CANNOT DUPLICATE PROBLEM.
RECALL 98V009000 AND MANUFACTURER RECALL 98S01, HEADLIGHTS. CONSUMER STATED THAT THE DEALER HAS MOVED AND IS NOT IN BUSINESS. THE MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDED THAT THE CONSUMER DRIVE 100 MILES FOR SERVICE. *AK
RECAL 97V025000. AND MANUFACTURER'S RECALL 97S65, THROTTLE LINKAGES AND CONTROL. CONSUMER STATED THAT THE DEALER HAS MOVED AND IS NO LONGER IN BUSINESS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED, AND STATED THAT THEY COULD NOT HELP THE CONSUMER. RECOMMENDED THAT CONSUMER GO TO A DEALER THAT IS ABOUT 100 MILES AWAY. *AK

WHILE DRIVING AT ABOUT 55MPH THE VEHICLE STARTED TO ACCELERATE, AND WHEN BRAKES WERE APPLIED THE VEHICLE KEPT ACCELERATING. DEALER SAYS MAY HAVE BEEN THE CARPET IN THE VEHICLE.
POWER STEERING PUMP REPLACED, HOWEVER VEHICLE STILL HAS POOR STEERING. *AK.ET.
VEHICLES EXHAUST SYSTEM FAILED CAUSING DRIVER TO FEEL LIGHT HEADED AND SHORT OF BREATH WHILE DRIVING, LATER TAKEN TO HOSPITAL AND FOUND HE HAD CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING.
BODY MOUNTS AT THE REAR CORNERS OF THE SUBFRAME WHICH SUPPORT THE ENGINE AND THE TRANSMISSSION HAVE DETACHED DUE TO CORROSION. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK

THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH DEFECTIVE STEERING GEAR BOX. IT IS VERY HARD TO KEEP CONTROL OF STEERING VEHICLE. DEALER CAN'T DETERMINE THE PROBLEM. *AK
BEARINGS AND CONNECTING RODS DAMAGED. DEALER SERVICED ENGINE ONE WEEK PRIOR. REPLACE GASKETS AND THERMOSTAT. FORD ISSUED ENGINE RECALL NOTICE JUNE 1998 FOR ENGINE OVERHEATING THAT COULD CAUSE HEAD GASKET FAILURE. NON-DEFECTIVE ENGINE SHOULD NOT HAVE FAILED, THERMOSTAT INSTALLATION BY DEALER WAS NEGLIGENT, AND QUITE LIKELY GASKET 'REPAIRS', CONTRIBUTED TO ENGINE FAILURE. *AK
