INTERSTATE DRIVING AT 65 MPH THE TRANSMISSION SUDDENLY FAILED ON 2003 TAURUS WITH 53,000 MILES. ALL GEARS REACTED LIKE NEUTRAL. TOWED TO TRANSMISSION SHOP, AND WAS DIAGNOSED T AS TORQUE CONVERTER AND GASKET FAILURES. REBUILT TRANSMISSION INSTALLED AT $1500. *AK
2003 FORD TAURUS ,WATER LEAKING IN ON THE PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR BOARD WHEN IT RAINS. *JB
MY 2003 FORD TAURUS HAS HAD WATER LEAKING IN TO THE PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR BOARD EVER SINCE I PURCHASED IT, NOT THINKING A WHOLE LOT ABOUT IT WHEN I RETURNED FROM OVER SEAS DUE TO A DEPLOYMENT THERE WAS RUST STAINS IN MY CARPET AND THE BLOWER THEN WOULD ONLY WORK ON HIGH, ABOUT A MONTH AGO THE BLOWER MOTOR QUIT WORKING SO I ASKED MY MECHANIC AND HE TOLD ME THAT IT SHOULD BE COVERED BUT I HAVE 40,000 MILES ON MY CAR RIGHT NOW AND THE DEALERSHIP IS REFUSING TO FIX IT UNDER THE TSB'S OR UNDER ANY RECALLS. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 FORD TAURUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WINDSHIELD SLIPPED DOWN AND SHE HEARD A LOT OF WIND NOISE, RATTLING, AND WATER LEAKAGE. THE FLOOR BEGAN TO RUST, THE LIGHTS FLICKERED, AND THE CRUISE CONTROL FAILED DUE TO WATER DAMAGE. THE ALTERNATOR WAS REPLACED TWICE DUE TO WATER DAMAGE. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 03V087000 (VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 43,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 68,000. UPDATED 04-02-08 *BF THE VEHICLE JERKS WHEN THE CONSUMER DRIVES OVER 35 MPH. THE DASHBOARD LIGHTS GO DIM. THE VEHICLE WOULD ALSO STALL. THE DEALER STATED IT WAS DUE TO A BAD ALTERNATOR. UPDATED
MY WIFE NOTICED WATER PORING OUT IN THE PASSENGER FLOORBOARD OF HER 2003 FORD TAURUS. SHE WAS AGGRAVATED BY THIS, BUT HAD NO MECHANICAL FAILURES AND DID NOT WORRY TOO MUCH ABOUT IT. THEN SHE HAD HER DEFROSTER FAIL WHILE DRIVING. THIS CAUSED AN ISSUE, BECAUSE SHE WAS NOT ABLE TO GET HOME IMMEDIATELY AND HAD TO USE A RAG TO CLEAR THE WINDSHIELD TO DRIVE HOME. SHE TOLD ME ABOUT IT AND REFUSED TO DRIVE ANYWHERE WITH OUR CHILDREN UNTIL THE PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED. I FOUND WATER IN THE VENT AND HAD TO REPLACE THE BLOWER MOTOR. THE FAN NOW RUNS, BUT ONLY RUNS ON HIGH BECAUSE ANOTHER COMPONENT FAILED THAT CONTROLS THE FAN SPEED. WHEN I CONTACTED THE FORD DEALERSHIP, THEY STATED THEY WERE WELL AWARE OF THIS ISSUE, BUT NO RECALL HAD BEEN FILED. I LOOKED UP RECALL INFO ON THE FORD SITE BY VIN AND IT STATED NONE WERE ACTIVE. A QUICK SEARCH ON THE WEB WILL SHOW I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS ISSUE. I BELIEVE THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD AN INABILITY TO CLEAR THE WINDSHIELD IMPAIRS THE ABILITY TO SEE WHERE YOU ARE GOING AND RECOGNIZE ANY HAZARDS. *TR
2003 FORD TAURUS COIL SPRINGS REPAIR RECALL CUSTOMER WANTS FORD TO PAY FOR SOME OR ALL HER EXPENSES**CC THE CONSUMER STATED HE IS WRITING ON BEHALF OF CUSTOMER WHO HAS TROUBLE COMMUNICATING. THE CONSUMER FOUND HER LEFT FRONT TIRE FLAT IN THE DRIVEWAY. THE CONSUMER HAD RECENTLY PURCHASED FOUR BRAND NEW TIRES. THE CONSUMER WENT BACK TO THE DEALER TO SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND FOUND THAT THE FRONT COIL SPRING WAS BROKEN AND PUNCTURED THE TIRE. THE DEALER REPLACED THE TIRES AND COIL SPRINGS AT THE CONSUMERS EXPENSE. THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE FORD TAURUS, BUT NOT FOR THIS SPECIFIC YEAR. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 FORD TAURUS. THE DEFROSTER BLOWER MOTOR FAILED TO OPERATE WHILE DRIVING. THE CONTACT WAS FORCED TO CLEAR THE WINDOWS MANUALLY. THE FAILURE OCCURRED SUDDENLY AND WITH NO WARNING INDICATORS. FORD MOTOR COMPANY WAS AWARE OF THIS FAILURE, AND ISSUED TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN (TSB)#13-031506 TO THE DEALER, INDICATING THAT WATER COULD GET INTO THE BLOWER MOTOR. FORD STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS NOT A SAFETY ISSUE WORTHY OF A RECALL. ADDITIONALLY, THE CONTACTS WARRANTY EXPIRED. THE VEHICLE WILL BE DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALER ON MARCH 30, 2007. THE CONTACT WAS AWARE OF THE SAFETY RISK INVOLVED DUE TO THE LACK OF VISIBILITY WHILE DRIVING. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE 16,300.*AK THE CONTACT HAS PROVIDED THE INVOICES FOR THE REPAIR AND FURTHER STATES HE WANTS TO BE REIMBURSED FOR REPAIRS WHICH IS TOTALING $182.00. STOPPED AT RED LIGHT, WAS UNABLE TO MOVE CAR WHEN LIGHT TURNED GREEN. NO WARNING WHATSOEVER. HAD CAR TOWED TO LOCAL SHOP WHO DIAGNOSED AS MAJOR TRANSMISSION WORK NEEDED AND SUGGESTED I CONTACT FORD FOR ASSISTANCE. I CONTACTED FORD AND THEY ADVISED I TAKE TO LOCAL FORD DEALER AND THEY WOULD TRY TO WORK WITH ME ON "FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE". DULANEY LINCOLN MERCURY FORD DEALER REPLACED ENTIRE TRANSMISSION. THEY ADVISED THE COST WAS $3100, FORD COVERED ALL BUT $1000 LABOR PORTION & TOW BILLS.*JB
THEIR WAS A WINTER STORM AND THE BLOWER ON MY 2003 TAURUS WAS NOT WORKING. WHEN THE TEMPATURES STARTED TO RISE AND THE SNOW/ICE MELTED THERE WAS A SIGNIFICANT CONSOLSATION ON THE UNIT AS WELL AS ON THE FLOOR BOARDS. THE MOTOR HISSED, THEN STARTED THEN STOPPED. I HAVE A FRIEND WHO HAD THE MOTOR REPLACED A FEW WEEKS AGO FOR THE SAME REASON.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 FORD TAURUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEFROSTER FAILED TO OPERATE WHEN ACTIVATED. THE VEHICLE WAS BROUGHT TO THE DEALER, WHO STATED THAT THE BLOWER MOTOR, RAIN HOOD, AND RESISTER ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT CONDUCTED SOME RESEARCH AND FOUND SEVERAL COMPLAINTS ALONG WITH TSB # 031506 FROM FORD, AND ANOTHER FROM NHTSA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEALER ORIGINALLY QUOTED A REPAIR COST OF $443.00. HOWEVER, THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO NEGOTIATE, AND ONLY PAID $182.00. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TSB FAILURES SHOULD HAVE BEEN MENTIONED BEFORE PURCHASING THE VEHICLE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 16,300 , AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,600.*AK
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 FORD TAURUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WINDSHIELD DEFROSTER MUST BE POWERED ON AND OFF IN ORDER FOR IT TO OPERATE. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO RETRIEVE AIR OR HEAT INSIDE THE VEHICLE. THE WEATHER CONDITIONS WERE RAINY. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THE CONTACT TO BRING THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE BLOWER MOTOR FAILED AND CONTAINED WATER DAMAGE. FORD AGREED TO PAY FOR HALF OF THE REPAIRS. AFTER 8 HOURS OF DRIVING THE CAR BEGAN STALLING WHILE MOVING AT POSTED SPEEDS. AFTER STOPPING A FEW MINUTES ENGINE RAN FINE. RECURRED ABOUT FIVE TIMES ON TRIP. OBD-II CODE INDICATED FUEL RAIL PRESSURE PROBLEM. LATER FUEL PUMP PRESSURE CHECK INDICATED THE PUMP WAS WORKING NORMALLY. *AK
AS ALL THESE OTHER COMPLAINTS, THE TRANSMISSION FAILED IN MY 03 FORD TAURUS. NO WARNING, NO LIGHTS OR WHISTLES. APPROX. 54,000 MILES. SUCKS, THAT THE BEST WAY TO DESCRIBE IT. COST 2,700.00 PLUS TOWING. NEVER AGAIN! ONE WOULD THINK IN THIS DAY AND TIME WHEN THE ECONOMY IS SO CRAPPY, FORD WOULD WANT ALL THE BUSINESS THEY COULD GET....THEY KNOW THIS TRANS. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 FORD TAURUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS A LEAK IN HER WINDSHIELD THAT CAUSED MOLD AND MILDEW BUILD-UP. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL MECHANIC AND THE WINDSHIELD WAS SEALED AND THE VEHICLE WAS FUMIGATED. SINCE THE REPAIRS WERE MADE, THERE HAD BEEN NO FURTHER OCCURRENCES UNTIL RECENTLY DURING HEAVY RAIN. THE ODOR INSIDE THE VEHICLE IS UNBEARABLE AND MOLD AND MILDEW WAS BUILT-UP WHERE THE WINDSHIELD MEETS THE DASHBOARD. WHEN BACKING OUT OF HER DRIVEWAY, THE CONTACT OBSERVED WATER LEAKING FROM THE VEHICLE DAYS AFTER A RAINSTORM OCCURRED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 03V087000 (VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 53,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 55,000. RAIN IS ENTERING THE HEATER/AC BOX SHORTING THE HEATER/AC FAN. WINDOW FOGS SUDDENLY CREATING HAZARD. IT IS NOT ANTIFREEZE OR HEATER CORE. AFTER HEAVY RAIN YOU CAN HEAR WATER SLOSHING AROUND IN THE HEATER BOX. THERE IS ALSO A FAINT ODOR OF A BURNT ELECTRICAL COMPONENT. I SUSPECT BLOWER MOTOR. *JB
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 FORD TAURUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE LEAKS ON THE PASSENGER SIDE WHEN IT RAINS. THE LEAK CAUSES A SHORTAGE IN THE AC RESISTOR. THE RESISTOR HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE. THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE CAUSE OF FAILURE. THE PURCHASE DATE WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 70,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000.
I NOTICED A PUDDLE OF WATER IN MY PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR BOARD. SHORTLY AFTER, THE HEAT STARTED TO KICK OFF AND ON, THEN EVENTUALLY KICKED OFF COMPLETELY. NOW, WE JUST REPLACED THE HEATER AND AIR CONDITIONER MOTOR BLOWER AND RELAY BECAUSE THE MOTOR BURNED OUT DUE TO EXCESSIVE WATER DAMAGE. THIS WATER DAMAGE IS APPARENTLY CAUSED BY A DESIGN DEFECT THAT HAS NOT YET BEEN RECALLED BY FORD ON THE 2003 TAURUS. I FOUND THIS OUT BY OTHER 2003 TAURUS OWNERS AND BY THE AUTO REPAIR SHOP EMPLOYEE WHO MENTIONED THAT THIS IS VERY COMMON WITH THE 2003 TAURUS. NOW I'M OUT $300.00 IN PARTS AND REPAIRS FOR A DESIGN DEFECT THAT CAN CONTINUE TO CAUSE WATER DAMAGE AND KEEP PUTTING ME OUT OF MONEY FOR REPAIRS. *JB
WATER SHORTED OUT MY BLOWER MOTOR IN 2003 FORD TAURUS. WE HAD A SLUSHY FRIDAY AND I WENT THROUGH A FEW SMALL PUDDLES AND HAD NO HEAT OR DEFROST IN 8 DEGREE WEATHER. NEEDLESS TO SAY NO DEFROST IN WINTER IS A HAZARD .THE FIX COST ME $400+. SIMPLY GOOGLE 2003 FORD TAURUS COWL AND YOU WILL SEE THAT I AM NOT ALONE. MY LOCAL FORD DEALER TOLD ME THAT IT WAS NOT A RECALL BUT A SERVICE BULLETIN. DOESN'T THAT ADMIT THAT THEY ARE AWARE OF A PROBLEM ? A WATER LEAK MAY SEEM MINOR BUT NO AC IN THE DESERT OR HEAT IN THE NORTH IS A MAJOR PROBLEM. *JB
WHILE BACKING OUT OF DRIVE WAY LOUD POP LEFT FRONT TIRE WENT FLAT REMOVED TIRE AND NOTICED COIL SPRING BROKEN IT PUNCTURED TIRE. IF IT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED ON THE ROAD COULD HAVE CAUSED SERIOUS INJURY. THERE IS A RECALL BUT ONLY TO 2001 AND THIS IS A 2003 DON'T SEEM TO BE GETTING ANYWHERE WITH FORD ON THIS. DO WE NEED A SERIOUS INJURY BEFORE THEY START A RE CALL ON LATER MODELS. *NM
TL*- THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE BACKING UP THE 2003 FORD TAURUS WITH 72000 FAILURE MILEAGE A COUPLE OF FEET HE HEARD A POPPING SOUND. THE CONTACT GOT OUT OF THE VEHICLE AND RAISED IT TO DISCOVER THAT THE DRIVER'S FRONT LEFT TIRE H SPLIT AND COIL SPRING SHEARED. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. *AK
AS I BACKED OUT OF MY PAVED DRIVEWAY IN MY FORD TAURUS (2003) SES I HEARD A POP AND A HISS - APPARENTLY THE FRONT SPRING BROKE AND DAMAGED THE TIRE. I KNOW THE 2000 - 2002 HAD A RECALL ON THIS. I DON'T THINK THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED ON THE 2003. *JB
WATER WAS NOTICED IN THE FLOOR BOARD ON PASSENGER SIDE. A FEW DAYS LATER, 2/20/2007, MY BLOWER MOTOR WENT OUT. I CALLED LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD TO BRING IT IN. TURNED OUT TO BE A WELL KNOWN WATER LEAK PROBLEM STEMMING FROM A DESIGN DEFECT LEAKS AT THE BASE OF THE WINDSHIELD. IT ALLOWS WATER TO GET INTO THE BLOWER MOTOR AND THE REST IS HISTORY. I PAID $324 FOR THE REPAIRS AND THE REPLACEMENT COWL STILL BOWS SO THE WATER CAN CONTINUE TO ENTER WITH THE SAME RESULTS. I RETURNED MY CAR THIS MORNING 2 23 07, (THE DAY AFTER PICKED IT UP IN THE DARK) TO EXPRESS MY DISSATISFACTION AND WAS TOLD TO COME BACK MONDAY. HOW CAN A CAR MANUFACTURER OF 100 YEARS NOT KNOW WHAT IT IS GOING TO LEAK...AT THE BASE OF THE WINDSHIELD??!! FORD NEEDS TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM. THANKS. *JB
THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME MY FORD TAURUS FRONT SPRING FAILED, THE FIRST TIME WAS ONE YEAR EARLIER. I WAS SLOWING DOWN TO PULL INTO THE DRIVEWAY WHEN I HEARD A LOUD NOISE, STOPPED, LOOKED TO SEE IF I COULD FIND ANYTHING WRONG, I COULDN'T TELL, SO I DROVE INTO THE DRIVEWAY AND PARKED IT. THIS ONE WAS THE DRIVER SIDE. LUCKILY THIS TIME IT WAS ONLY THE SPRING AND STRUT AND NOT THE TIRE ALSO. THE FIRST TIME I WAS BACKING OUT OF A PARKING SPOT AND I HEARD A LOUD NOISE, THAT ONE RIPPED UP THE TIRE ALSO. IN BOTH SITUATIONS, I HAD IT TOWED AND REPAIRED. WHEN I CALLED FORD I WAS TOLD THAT YEAR WASN'T COVERED UNDER THE RECALL, EVEN THOUGH I ARGUED THAT IT WAS THE SAME PROBLEM AS THE RECALLED ONES. THEY WOULDN'T COVER THE REPAIRS, SO I HAD TO PAY FOR IT MYSELF. IT MAKES NO SENSE THAT IT'S THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM AS THE RECALLED VEHICLES, YET THEY REFUSE TO ADD A RECALL FOR THIS MODEL YEAR. *TR
WE NOTICED A PUDDLE OF WATER ON THE PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR AND A BURNING RUBBER SMELL AFTER A VERY HEAVY RAIN STORM. WE COULD HEAR WATER IN THE HEATER SYSTEM. TOOK THE CAR TO A FORD SERVICE DEPARTMENT, WHERE THEY CONFIRMED A DESIGN DEFECT IN THE COWLING WHICH ALLOWS RAIN WATER TO GET INTO THE BLOWER MOTOR & RESISTER COMPONENTS. THE MOTOR AND RESISTER HAD BOTH BEEN DAMAGED BY THE WATER AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED (WHICH WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY BUT SHOULD HAVE BEEN, DUE TO THE DESIGN DEFECT). *NM
BLOWER MOTOR WENT OUT AND HAD NO HEAT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WINTER(5 DEGREES OUT AND HAD TWO TODDLERS IN THE CAR. IT IS A KNOWN MANUFACTURING DEFECT ALLOWING WATER TO GET INTO THE BLOWER ASSEMBLY. *NM
I OWN A SILVER, 2003 FORD TAURUS WITH 81,000 MILES. AS MY WIFE WAS PULLING OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY SHE HEARD A LOUD POP AND THE CAR CAME TO A SCREECHING HALT. SHE IMMEDIATELY CALLED ME ON MY CELL PHONE TO TELL ME THAT SHE HAD A FLAT TIRE ON THE DRIVERS SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. I CAME HOME AND REMOVED THE FLAT TIRE TO FIND OUT THAT THE TIRE WAS COMPLETELY PUNCTURED AND RIPPED HALF WAY AROUND THE INSIDE OF THE TIRE. I THEN PLACED THE SPARE TIRE ON THE VEHICLE AND DROVE IT TO DISCOUNT TIRE COMPANY DOWN THE STREET WHO TOOK ONE LOOK AT IT AND SAID THAT THE SPRING WAS BROKEN AND THAT THERE WAS A RECALL FROM FORD ON THIS PROBLEM. WHEN MY WIFE FOUND OUT THAT THIS COULD OF CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE TO OUR FAMILY SHE WAS EXTREMELY UPSET. I DID SOME RESEARCH ON THE WEB AND FOUND OUT THAT THERE IS ONLY A RECALL ON 2001 VEHICLES AND NOT 2003 VEHICLES. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO THE CAR YET. IT IS STILL IN THE DRIVEWAY WAITING TO BE FIXED. MY WIFE AND SON ARE NERVOUS DRIVING A CAR WITH THESE KIND OF PROBLEMS IN THE CITY OR HIGHWAY. *NM
BLOWER MOTOR FAILURE DUE TO WATER LEAKING INTO BLOWER CASE ON MY 2003 FORD TAURUS, I TOOK MY CAR TO THE FORD DEALER TO GET THE BLOWER REPAIRED OR REPLACED. AFTER THEY REPLACED THE BLOWER, THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WASN'T COVERED UNDER MY 6 YR/ 75000 MI. BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY BECAUSE OF WATER LEAKING INTO THE BLOWER CASE. I'M GOING TO FIGHT THIS BECAUSE FORD CO. KNEW THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH LEAKAGE INTO THE BLOWER CASE WHICH MEANS FORD SHOULD HAVE REPLACED MY BLOWER/MOTOR FOR FREE, INSTEAD I GOT A BILL FOR $508.00 AND I'M TAKING IT TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT. FRONT DRIVERS SIDE COIL SPRING SNAPPED CAUSING CAR TO FALL ON TIRE. PUNCTURED TIRE, RUINED STRUT AND BRAKE LINE. THIS HAPPENED WHILE BACKING OUT OF DRIVE WAY, HAD THIS TAKEN PLACE WHILE TRAVELING DOWN THE ROAD IT WOULD HAVE EASILY KILLED OR INJURED EVERYONE IN THE CAR. THERE WAS NO INDICATION LEADING UP TO THIS THAT THIS WOULD HAPPEN. AFTER SEARCHING THE INTERNET I AM FINDING THAT THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE WITH THE FORD TAURUS, SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE. *NM
TRANSMISSION FAILED IN "PARK" AND UNAGBLE TO SHIFT TO ANY GEAR. CAR TOWED TO FORD DEALERSHIP WHERE THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH AND CONNECTOR HARNESS WAS REPLACED, PART # 3F1Z-13480. *TR
CAR WAS SITTING OUTSIDE FOR A WEEK WHILE ON VACATION (NOT BEING DRIVEN). UPON ARRIVING HOME, STARTED THE CAR BUT THE BLOWER WOULD NOT RUN. TROUBLESHOT IT DOWN TO THE BLOWER MOTOR. UPON REMOVAL OF THE BLOWER MOTOR, I FOUND 2 CUPS OF WATER, ALONG WITH SOME ICE CHUNKS IN THE BLOWER MOTOR. I REPLACED THE BLOWER RESISTOR AND THE BLOWER MOTOR, NOW IT WORKS. THERE IS AN OBVIOUS PROBLEM WITH THE WAY MOISTURE CAN NOT ONLY GET IN, BUT THEN DRAIN DOWN TO AND COLLECT IN THE BLOWER MOTOR, CAUSING IT TO SHORT OUT. *JB

BEGAN BY ACTING SLUGGISH, WHEN WETNESS APPEARED ON FLOOR ASSUMED IT WAS DUE TO THE RAINY WEATHER BUT HAVE SINCE DISCOVERED THIS IS AN ONGOING DESIGN DEFECT WHICH FORD HAS YET TO ADDRESS. HAVE RECEIVED 1 ESTIMATE ON COST TO REPLACE BLOWER FAN ONLY $264.00 RESISTOR ANOTHER $75.00 LOSS OF CAR FOR MINIMUM OF 3 HOURS.
