DT: CONSUMER WAS IN AN ACCIDENT WHERE THE OTHER VEHICLE HIT THE PASSENGER SIDE, THE WHOLE FRONT END OF THE CAR WAS SMASHED IN. WHEN THE ACCIDENT OCCURRED THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. *TT
CONDENSATION FROM THE AIR CONDITIONING DRAIN TUBE LEAKS BETWEEN THE FIRE WALL INTO THE PASSENGER SIDE CAR INTERIOR. THIS MAKES THE CARPET PADDING WET AND CREATES MILDEW AND BACTERIA. THIS CREATES A POTENTIAL HEALTH HAZARD AND IT WILL AGRAVATE SIMTOMS FOR PEOPLE WITH ALERGIES. I SUSPECT THE SEAL BETWEEN THE FIREWALL AND THE A/C CONDENSATION DRAIN TUBE IS TO BLAME. A BETTER SEAL MAY RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM.
DT: ABOUT FOUR MONTHS AGO THE ENGINE WOULD COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN WHILE DRIVING WITH A LOSS OF POWER. THIS HAPPENED WITHOUT WARNING, NO PREVIOUS STALLING. ONCE THE ENGINE DIED, A PERIOD OF ABOUT TEN MINUTES WOULD PASS, AND THEN A RESTART WOULD BE POSSIBLE. SOMETIMES IT WOULD TAKE NUMEROUS TIMES TO RESTART. AFTER THE FIRST OCCURRENCE, THE CONSUMER TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A FORD DEALER, WHERE IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY, AND THEY REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP. THE FUEL PUMP DID NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM BECAUSE THE ENGINE WOULD STILL DIE. THE CONSUMER DID RETURN TO THE DEALER, AND THEY PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC TEST WHICH SHOWED A VALVE ASSEMBLY CONTROL FAILURE AND IT WAS REPLACED. ALSO, THEY PERFORMED FUEL PUMP PRESSURE TEST, RECORDER MONITOR ROAD TEST, CHECK OF BATTERY CONDITION, AND A REPLACEMENT OF THE ELECTRICAL FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY. AFTER ALL OF THESE TESTS AND CORRECTIONS, THIS WAS STILL A PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO HAVE A PROBLEM THAT HAS NOT BEEN CORRECTED. THE CONSUMER WENT TO THE DEALER SIX TIMES, AND HAS NOT CONTACTED FORD MANUFACTURER. AFTER ALL OF THESE ATTEMPTS THE DEALER SUGGESTED TO THE CONSUMER TO CALL NHTSA AND CHECK THE LEMON LAW. *AK UPDATED 12/27/05. *JB
DT: THE WINDSHIELD HAS A GLARE. THE GLARE MIRRORS THE DASHBOARD ONTO THE WINDSHIELD. THERE IS A LIGHT TINT, BUT THE CONSUMER SAYS ONE CAN NOT TELL THAT THERE IS. THE DEALER SAID THEY COULD NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM, IT WAS MANUFACTURED THAT WAY. NO CORRECTIONS OR REPAIRS HAVE BEEN MADE AT THIS TIME. THE CONSUMER HAS TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO THE FORD DEALER FOR THIS , AND THEY SIMPLY SAID THEY COULD NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. *AK

I OWN A 2003 FORD TAURUS. SINCE 5/04/05 I HAVE HAD A WATER LEAK ON THE PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR. DURING A HEAVY RAIN STORM THE WATER DRIPS IN FROM UNDER THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE DASH. MANY TIMES IT HAS CREATED LARGE PUDDLES. THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME WAS IN THE SHOP FOR ITS 30,000 MILE CHECK. THE DEALER WAS TOLD BUT THE PROBLEM WAS NEVER FIXED. AFTER READING FORUMS ABOUT THIS PROBLEM I AM CONCERNED THIS WILL CAUSE OTHER SYSTEM FAILURES,EX.AC BLOWER SHORTING OUT. ECT.. .PLEASE HELP ME FIND A SOLUTION. THANK YOU *JB
ENGINE EXPERIENCES A VERY SHORT HESITATION WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP. ON ONE OCCASSION ENGINE STALLED IN INTERSECTION. VEHICLE HAS BEEN TO DEALERSHIP ON TWO INSTANCES AND PROBLEM IS STILL THERE.
2003 FORD TAURUS DEVELOPED WATER SEEPAGE FROM THE BLOWER IN THE MOTOR COMPARTMENT ONTO THE PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR.*MR WATER LEAKED ONTO THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR FORM THE BLOWER MOTOR AREA. WHEN THE MOTOR FAILED IT DID NOT BLOW OUT THE FUSE IN THAT CIRCUIT. THE CONSUMER WONDERS IF THIS FAILURE COULD CAUSE AN ENGINE FIRE. *NM
DRIVING ON HIGHWAY, VEHICLE SUDDENLY LOST POWER. PULLED OFF ROADWAY. SMOKE COMING FROM UNDER HOOD. RAISED HOOD AND CALLED 911. FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDED TO PUT OUT FIRE. CAR FULLY ENGULFED IN FLAMES. CAR TOTAL LOSS, FRONT END MELTED, PASSENGER AREA FULLY INVOLVED IN FIRE. EXTRA FORD MANUFACTURER 75,000 WARRANTY SPECIFICALLY STATES IT WILL COVER ENGINE DEFECTS, ETC HOWEVER FORD SAYS IT CAN'T DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF FIRE DUE TO EXCESSIVE THERMAL DAMAGE.
THE "CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT CAME ON IN MY 2003 FORD TAURUS. I TOOK THE VEHICLE FOR SERVICE AT THE FORD DEALERSHIP THAT SOLD ME THE CAR. I WAS TOLD THE "CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT WAS THE RESULT OF A CRACKED FUEL FILLER NECK. MY REPAIR INVOICE STATES THAT "FILLER NECKS ARE USUALLY CRACKED WHEN FUEL FILL NOZZLES ARE INSERTED IMPROPERLY OR NEGIGENTLY." I LIVE IN NEW JERSEY WHERE IT IS ILLEGAL TO PUMP YOUR OWN GASOLINE. THIS CAR HAS BEEN FILLED AT THE SAME GAS STATION AT EVERY FILL-UP. THERE IS NOTHING TO SUGGEST THAT THE GAS STATION ATTENDANT DID ANYTHING DIFFERENTLY AT THE LAST FUELING OF THE VEHICLE, BUT I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY MULTIPLE FORD SERVICE ADVISORS THAT THIS DAMAGE HAD TO OCCUR AT MY LAST FILL-UP. THERE WAS NO SIGN THAT THE NOZZLE WAS FORCED INTO THE FILLER NECK, NOR WAS THERE ANYTHING THAT SUGGESTED ANY UNUSUAL FORCE OR TORQUE WAS BEING APPLIED TO THE NOZZLE. I WAS TOLD BY THE SERVICE MANAGER THAT HE HAS SEEN MULTIPLE FAILURES OF THESE PARTS AND FORD TAKES THE POSITION THAT UNLESS THE CRACK IS ALONG THE SEAM OF THE PLASTIC CASTING THAT IT IS THE RESULT OF DAMAGE, NOT A MANUFACTURER'S DEFECT REPAIRABLE UNDER WARRANTY. I FEEL THAT A COMPONENT THIS CRITICAL SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE THE FORCE OF A GASOLINE PUMP NOZZLE BEING INSERTED INTO IT, AND SHOULD HAVE SUFFICIENT ADDITIONAL STRENGTH TO WITHSTAND THE UPPER LIMIT OF FORCES THAT CAN BE APPLIED TO IT WITH THAT NOZZLE.*AK
THE HEADLIGHTS ARE NOT PROVIDING ADEQUATE LIGHTING WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT. THIS CAUSES POOR VISIBILITY, AND OBSTRUCT THE CONSUMER'S VISION WHILE DRIVING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO TWO SEPARATE DEALERS, AND ON ONE SEPARATE OCCASION THEY REPLACED THE HEADLIGHT BULB, AND REALIGNED THE HEADLIGHTS ON TWO OTHER OCCASIONS, BUT THE PROBLEM WAS NOT RESOLVED. *AK *SC *JB
GAS TANK HAD TO BE REPLACED...GAS LEAKING...TANK FULL OF HOLES.. HEAT SHIELD ALSO REPLACED. *TR
OWNER WAS DRIVING IN A PARKING LOT AT APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH AND SUDDENLY THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO ACCELERATE. OWNER DROVE INTO A LARGE PLANT WHICH GOT CAUGHT UNDER THE VEHICLE, CAUSING THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE TO BECOME AIRBORNE. THIS CAUSED DAMAGED UNDER THE VEHICLE AND THE FRONT BUMPER. *AK THE DEALER REPLACED THE IAC VALVE ASSEMBLY. *NM

I GET 1 OR 2 INCHES OF WATER IN PASSENGER SIDE OF CAR, AND IT CAUSES THE HEATER FAN NOT TO WORK ON AN 2003, FORD, TAURUS SE. *AK

INVOLUTARY ACCELERATION OF CAR AT LOW SPEEDS WHILE THE TRACTION CONTROL IS ENGAGED DUE TO SLIPPERY SURFACES. THIS HAS HAPPENED FOUR TIMES IN THE LAST MONTH AND, EVERYTIME THE DRIVER'S FOOT WAS ON THE BRAKE PEDAL AND NOT ON THE ACCELERATOR. THE DEALER HAS HAD THE CAR TWICE AND HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO REPLICATE THE CONDITIONS. FORD MOTOR COMPANY REFUSES TO TAKE FURTHER ACTION. *AK
2003 FORD TAURUS THAT WAS PURCHASED IN 2004. JAN 05 THE BLOWER FOR THE HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM BEGAN TO WORK ON HIGH ONLY. DEALER TESTED AND REPLACED PART NUMBER F6DZ-19A706-AA THIS FIXED THE PROBLEM. THIS WAS REPAIRED AGAIN IN JUN 06 AND MAY 07. THE PART HAS NOW BROKE AGAIN FEB 08. THE PROBLEM IS DUE TO A WATER LEAK THAT FORD CANNOT REPAIR FOR SOME REASON. *TR
ON MY 2003 FORD TAURUS SEL THE THROTTLE BODY STICKS CAUSING AN UNUSUALLY HIGH AMOUNT OF GAS PEDAL PRESSURE TO RELEASE IT AND ONCE IT RELEASES THE HIGH PEDAL PRESSURE APPLIED CAUSES A RAPID, DANGEROUS ACCELERATION OF THE VEHICLE. THIS IS THE 2ND TIME THIS PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED WITH THIS VEHICLE THE FIRST REPAIR WAS DONE BY THE FORD DEALER ON JANUARY 15, 2005 AND NOW IT IS OCCURRING AGAIN. THIS APPEARS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH FORD VEHICLES AND THERE ARE WEBSITES DEVOTED TO DISCUSSING THIS. IN EVERY OCCURRENCE THE THROTTLE BODY MUST BE REPLACED. *TR
WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH SLID ON A PATCH OF ICE AND HIT A TRUCK. THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. IF THERE WAS EVER AN ACCIDENT THE ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP IS SUPPOSE TO SHUT THE VEHICLE DOWN. THE PASSENGER'S AIR BAG DID DEPLOY, HOWEVER, IT WAS SMOKING, AND HAD A BURNING SMELL. *AK
THE HEATER WAS UNABLE TO FUNCTION, MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO SEE THE ROAD IN INCLEMENT WEATHER. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER FOR CHECK UP, AND RESULTS INDICATED THAT THE HEAT MOTOR TENDED TO GET WATER OR ICE IN IT, CAUSING IT TO MALFUNCTION.*AK
THE CONSUMER EXPERIENCED SUDDEN ACCELERATION. THE MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN CONTACTED BY CONSUMER. *JB
CONTINUOUS WATER LEAK ON PASSENGER SIDE WHICH FILLS UP FLOORBOARD AND HAS EFFECTED THE FAN MOTOR ON THE HEATING AND AIR SYSTEM...FAN HAS QUIT BLOWING. THIS IS A FACTORY DEFECT AND THAT WAS MENTIONED TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES BUT THEY STATE IT WAS NOT WRITTEN DOWN SO THEY WOULD NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY. *AK
FRONT BRAKES WERE SQUEAKING AND SCRUBBING. BRAKING DISTANCE CONTINUED TO INCREASE IN LENGTH. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MIDAS. AT THAT TIME IT HAD LESS THAN 22,000 MILES. BRAKE TECH. AT MIDAS EXAMINED PADS, WHICH WERE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT FROM MANUFACTUER. PADS FROM BOTH WHEELS HAD HAIRLINE CRACKS IN THEM AND PIECES OF METAL SHAVINGS EMBEDDED. METAL SHAVINGS WERE CAUSING RUBS IN ROTORS. TECH STATED IT WAS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE PADS CRACKED COMPLETELY AND VEHICLE HAD ALOSS OF BRAKING. PADS WERE REPLACED WITH MIDAS CERAMIC TYPE. OLD PADS WERE DISCARDED AFTER A VISIT TO FORD DEALER HAD NO RESULTS.
THE INTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE HAS A STRONG SMELL OF GAS WHEN THE HEAT AND DEFROSTER IS ON. CONSUMER FEELS NAUSEOUS, MAKING THE ABILITY TO CONCENTRATE ON THE ROAD DIFFICULT. TAKEN TO DEALER, BUT THE CAUSE IS UNDETERMINED.*AK
WHILE DRIVING 30-35 MPH CONSUMER'S VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH WHICH RESULTED IN THE VEHICLE ROLLING FOUR TIMES. THE CAR SEAT STRAP SNAPPED WHILE LATCHED. THE CHEST LOCKING CLIP WAS REPLACED WITH LOCKING MECHANISM WHICH ACTED AS A BACKUP RESTRAINT. UPON IMPACT, THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. *AK.....ALSO, SHOULDER BELT FAILED. *AK
THE CONSUMER REAR ENDED ANOTHER VEHICLE TRAVELING AT 35 MPH AND THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. *JB CONSUMER STATED THE BRAKES PULSATED TWICE FAILING TO STOP THE VEHICLE. *TT
DT: SOMETIMES THE VEHICLE WILL ACCELERATE WHEN THE CONSUMER WOULD TAKE HIS FOOT OFF OF THE GAS PEDAL JUST AS IF THE CRUISE CONTROL WAS ON WHEN IT WAS NOT. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING OFF AND ON SINCE DECEMBER 2004. THERE WERE OTHER PROBLEMS WITH THE VEHICLE THAT WERE NOT RELATED. WHEN THE CONSUMER HAD TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP, THEY HAD REPLACED DIFFERENT PARTS ON THE VEHICLE. ALTHOUGH THE REPAIR MADE IMPROVEMENTS, IT DID NOT COMPLETELY FIX THE PROBLEM. THE DEALERSHIP COULD NOT FIND THE EXACT PROBLEM. *AK (11/15/05) FORD REPURCHASED THE VEHICLE. THE CONSUMER RECEIVED COMPENSATION BUT DID NOT FEEL THAT IT WAS FAIR. *SC
I HAVE A CONCERN OF REGARDING A SAFETY ISSUE ON MY 2003 FORD TAURUS. I AM NOT SURE IF THIS IS THE RIGHT PLACE TO LODGE A COMPLAINT, BUT WOULD DIRECT ME TO THE RIGHT SOURCE IF NOT.*AK SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2004, I CHANGED OIL ON MY 2003 FORD TAURUS. LIKE MANY VEHICLES I HAVE CHANGED OIL ON, I WAS NOT VERY PLEASED WITH THE LOCATION OF THE OIL FILTER. IT IS LOCATED BENEATH THE MANIFOLD (EXTREME HEAT) AND ABOVE THE SOLENOID FOR THE STARTER. IT WAS THE SOLENOID THAT I WAS SUSPICIOUS ABOUT AND THAT SUSPICION CAME TRUE SUNDAY EVENING. WHEN YOU TAKE OFF THE OIL FILTER, OIL DRIPS ONTO THE SOLENOID. I CANNOT IMAGINE WHY AN ENGINEER WOULD ALLOW A LOCATION FOR A FLAMMABLE LIQUID TO DRIP ONTO A POWER SOURCE. WHEN I USED A FILTER WRENCH TO GET THE OIL FILTER OFF, THE WRENCH KNOCKED OFF THE PROTECTIVE CAP THAT COVERS THE POWER LEADS AND GROUND TO THE SOLENOID. WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THAT WAS NOT A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. THE OIL WRENCH AND THE POWER LEADS MADE CONTACT AND IMMEDIATELY STARTED SPARKING. THE SPARKS IN TURN STARTED A FIRE IN MY ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND MELTED THE METAL BAND THAT SURROUNDS THE OIL FILTER WRENCH. AS QUICKLY AS I COULD, I GRABBED SOME RAGS AND DOUSED THE FIRE. AS FAR AS I COULD SEE, NO DAMAGE WAS DONE TO THE ELECTRICAL WIRES. ASIDE FROM GETTING SHOCKED FROM THE SOLENOID AND GETTING MINOR BURNS I AM OKAY. HOWEVER, THAT IS NOT THE ISSUE. WHAT IF I HAD NOT PUT THE FIRE OUT? WOULD THE CAR AND POSSIBLY MY GARAGE BEEN ENGULFED IN FIRE? I CONTACTED THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WHERE I PURCHASED THE FORD TAURUS (VALLEY FORD, FARGO) AND VOICED MY CONCERN. THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN AGREED THAT THIS SOLENOID WAS IN AN AWFUL PLACE. HE ALSO SAID TO MAKE SURE THE PROTECTIVE CAP WAS PLACED OVER THE TERMINAL LEADS OF THE SOLENOID AGAIN. PLEASE ADVISE ME AS TO WHAT MY NEXT STEP IS. OR, IS THIS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT I AM OVERREACTING TO? I ANXIOUSLY AWAIT YOUR RESPONSE.
DT: WHILE COMING TO A STOP THE CALLER HIT THE BRAKE AND THE VEHICLE SURGED FORWARD. IT HAPPENED WHEN VEHICLE WAS IN PARK AS WELL. ALSO, THERE WAS A SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER AND ROUGH IDLE WHEN ON THE HIGHWAY OR CITY STREETS. THE CALLER SAID THERE WAS POOR GAS MILEAGE. TOOL VEHICLE TO DEALER 7 TIMES, ON FEBRUARY 11, 2005, JULY 6, JULY 22, 2005, JULY 27, 2005 , AND AUGUST 12, 2005. CALLED THE MANUFACTURER, AND MANUFACTURER SAID THEY HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM IN OTHER VEHICLES. DEALER SAID THEY COULD NOT FIX THE PROBLEM AND SOMEONE FORM THE MANUFACTURER WILL GET BACK TO HIM. *AK
I OWN A 2003 FORD TAURUS AND AT 47,000 MILES THE FAN BLOWER WENT OUT! I HAD NO HEAT BEING FORCED OUT OF MY VENTS. NOW AT THAT LOW OF MILES SHOULD IT HAVE WENT OUT SO EARLY?? I HAD A $500 REPAIR BILL AFTER THAT BECAUSE I WAS TOLD MY CAR WASN'T RUNNING SMOTHLY AND IT NEEDED TO HAVE EMISSION CLEANING DONE ON IT. THAT COSTED ME ANOTHER $80. IN MY PERSONAL OPINION MY CAR WAS RUNNING VERY SMOOTHLY AND THE MOTOR WAS PRACTICALLY SILENT WHEN RUNNING. *AK
THE FAN ON MY 2003 FORD TAURUS STOPPED WORKING AND WHEN I TOOK IT TO THE GARAGE THEY FOUND THAT THE FAN AND THE RESISTOR HAD SHORTED OUT BECAUSE THERE WAS A CRACK IN THE COWL NEAR THE FIRE WALL-I HAD TO HAVE A NEW FAN,RESISTOR, AND THE CRACK SEALED.
WHEN SLOWING DOWN, THE VEHICLE LURCHED FORWARD. THIS STARTED AFTER THE TRANSMISSION WAS SERVICED. THE MANUFACTURER NEEDED TO HAVE THE PROBLEM DUPLICATED BEFORE THE PROBLEM COULD BE RESOLVED. *JB
VEHICLE WAS IN A COLLISION WHILE GOING 50 MPH. CONSUMER'S VEHICLE HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM THE REAR, AND FRONT AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. *AK THE CONSUMER SUSTAINED INJURIES FROM THE SEAT BELT. *TC
WHILE DRIVING AT 65 MPH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FAILED AT 42000 MILES. VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP, WHO WILL REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION AT CONSUMER'S EXPENSE. *AK
WHILE BACKING OUT THE BACK UP LIGHTS FAILED. CONSUMER HAD ANOTHER DRIVER PLACE THE VEHICLE IN REVERSE AND NOTICED THAT THE LIGHTS FAILED TO COME ON THEIR OWN. CONSUMER WAS ABLE TO DRIVE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION, AND MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT IT COULD NOT BE FIXED AT THE DEALERSHIP. *AK

MY VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT ..THE FRONT OF MINE REAR ENDED ANOTHER AUTO..THE FORCE WAS SUFFICIENT TO CAUSE THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT AIRBAG TO DEPLOY BUT THE DRIVERS BAG FAIL TO DEPLOY...IS THIS A NORMAL OCCURRENCE WHERE ONE BAG WILL DEPLOY BUT NOT THE OTHER..IF THE DRIVER OF MY VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN WEARING THE SEAT BELT SHE COULD HAVE SUSTAINED POSSIBLE SERIOUS INJURIES. *JB

WATER LEAKS IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE EVERYTIME IT RAINS. THE HARDER IT RAINS, THE MORE WATER ENDS UP IN THE CAR. THE DEALER PUT THE KIT IN LAST SAT TO FIX PROBLEM, HOWEVER LAST NITE I HAD MORE WATER IN THE CAR THAN ON ANY OTHER PREVIOUS LEAKS. THE CAR MAT WAS FULL OF WATER, AND WHEN I TOOK THAT OUT THE CARPET UNDERNEATH WAS UNDER WATER. AND NOW WHEN YOU TURN ON THE FAN IN THE CAR IT SQUEALS. CALLED DEALER, CAN'T DO A DRY OUT OF THE CARPET OR A REPAIR FOR ANOTHER WEEK OR 2 DUE TO NO COURTESY CAR BEING AVAILABLE. AND WHEN THEY DO THE REPAIR IT WILL TAKE 2 DAYS BECAUSE THE DASH HAS TO BE REMOVED AND IT'S EITHER SOMETHING IN/BEHIND THE DASH OR IT'S THE WINDSHIELD (OR BOTH).*AK

MY20 03' FORD TAURUS SE HAS FAULTY UPPER BALL JOINTS, AS WELL AS OTHER MECHANICAL PROBLEMS DEALING W/ THE FRONT END. AUTO WAS SUPPOSEDLY INSPECTED PRIOR TO WARRANTY ENDING AND NO PROBLEMS WERE MENTIONED TO ME, NOW LESS THAN 60 DAYS LATER I'M TOLD THERE ARE NUMEROUS PROBLEMS WITH VARIOUS FRONT END PARTS ON THIS AUTOMOBILE. *AK
