Sensor in seat belt fails air bag light comes on air bags won't deploy there is hundreds of complaints on forums about this issue ford knows about it amd said they will not issue a recall steering and suspension yo hear loud popping steering locks up due to rack and pinion failure the popping is faulty upper strut mounts ford is also aware of this there is thousands of reports all over the forums ford refuses to even look into it saying its not a dangerous concern steering will lock up tight at speeds of 70mph no gaining control of it
Power steering (electrical system for this car) does not work on startup. Takes about 5 seconds to activate. Havenot experienced this on the road (yet). Check of outstanding recall repairs when entering VIN # in your webpage, shows no outstanding repairs. Howevver, I bought this vehicle with 0 miles and havenot had this repair done (I never got a recall notice). this malfunction has happened reeatedly in the last 3 weeks.
The steering suddenly became difficult to operate at 70 MPH. I stopped and turned the car off then turned it back on. Two warnings appeared on my dash, "Service Power Steering Now" & "Service AdvanceTrac." The turn signals also stopped working at this point. This vehicle is available for inspection. The component has not been inspected or taken to the local dealer. There were no symptoms prior to the failure

The power steering system in my 2013 Ford Taurus has failed. I took it to the shop and they informed me of multiple recalls on this make and model for the power steering, but it doesn't appear as though my personal VIN was recalled. Am I still eligible for a recall repair?
MY POWER STEERING WENT OUT. IT SAID POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT. AND I COULD NOT TURN MY WHEEL. FORTUNATELY I WAS PARKED. I JUST COULD NOT TURN THE WHEEL TO MOVE. I TURNED THE CAR OFF AND BACK ON AGAIN AND THE WARNING WENT AWAY AND I COULD MOVE THE WHEEL AGAIN. WORRIED IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN WHILE IN MOTION.
THE DEALER HAS COMPLETED ALL THE RECALLS DUE TO DATE ON THE VEHICLE, BUT IS UNABLE TO REPORT THEM SO THE VEHICLE IS STILL LISTED ON NHTSA.GOV AS HAVING 1 INCOMPLETE RECALL. THE DEALER IS UNABLE TO PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION ON THE ISSUE, PROMISING THAT THE CASE WILL BE REVIEWED BY INTERNAL TEAM, THE MANUFACTURER IS UNABLE TO PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION AS WELL, STATING THAT THE ALL THE RECALLS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED, THE DEALERSHIP GOT PAID, BUT 1 RECALL REMAINS LISTED ON NHTSA.GOV .I CANNOT USE THE VEHICLE AS INTENDED AS 1 STILL ACTIVE RECALL PROHIBITS ME FROM DOING SO. VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION ON ROADWAY WHEN UNEXPECTEDLY COMBUSTED FROM THE REAR PASSENGER AREA WHERE THE FUEL TANK AND PUMP IS LOCATED, THE ENTIRE CAR WAS BURNED AND CAUSED A TOTAL LOSS.*DT

The contact stated that since the failure occurred, the air conditioning failed to function properly and only blows out hot air. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. A dealer was not contacted. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V340000 (Steering) however, the Vin was not included. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 97,000.
ENGINE STALLING RUNNING AT 10 MILES A HOUR. IS THERE A RECALL NUMBER 20504?
POWER STEERING WENT OUT COMPLETELY WITHOUT WARNING. VERY DANGEROUS OTHERS HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. IT SEEMS TO BE DUE TO HEAT CAUSING ELECTRIC ASSIST STEERING TO FAIL. FORD DESIGN THE ELECTRIC ASSIST MOTOR TO SIT DIRECTLY BEHIND THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER.

TOOK CAR IN BECAUSE OF POOR HANDLING AND ACCESSOVE TIRE WARE FIND OUT TOE CONTROL LINK IS BAD AFTER CHECKING THERE'S BEEN A PROBLEM WITH THAT PART. I THINK THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL FOR SAFETY REASONS.
THE REAR SUSPENSION TOE LINK FAILED ON MY VEHICLE WHILE I WAS DRIVING IN CITY TRAFFIC, GOING STRAIGHT. I COULD ONLY GO 5 MPH TO THE NEAREST REPAIR SHOP AS THE REAR WHEEL WAS NEAR FALLING OFF. THERE ARE SEVERAL RECALLS FOR THIS IDENTICAL PART, BUT NOT MY SPECIFIC VIN.....EVEN THOUGH IT'S THE IDENTICAL PART UNDER OTHER RECALLS. SAFETY RECALL 20S04, 20S62, 19S17, TO NAME A FEW.
POWER STEERING INTERMITTENTLY GOES OUT WHILE DRIVING MAKING THE STEERING IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN. WHEN THE LOSS OF POWER STEERING HAPPENS A CODE POPS UP SAYING 'POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT '
EXPERIENCED LOSS OF STEERING/STEERING WHEEL FROZE UP AND COULD NOT BE TURNED; INITIALLY OCCURRED AT HOME IN DRIVEWAY WHEN STATIONARY OVERNIGHT BUT GETTING MORE FREQUENT AND PROGRESSIVELY WORSE. THERE IS A SAFETY RECALL (15S18, SUPPLEMENTS #1, #2 AND #3) AND A FORD PROGRAM (15N01) IN PLACE REGARDING THIS ISSUE BUT MY VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED 11/2012 AND FORD SAYS IT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS RECALL ALTHOUGH THE PROBLEM IS THE SAME. I CALLED 2 DEALERS AND DID A CHAT WITH FORD BUT WAS STILL TOLD "NO". SO I NOW HAVE TO MAKE A HIGH DOLLAR REPAIR ON A COMPONENT THAT SHOULD BE COVERED. SENDING LETTER TO PRESIDENT OF FORD MOTOR COMPANY TO COMPLAIN AS WELL. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE AND FORD NEEDS TO WIDEN THE DATES COVERED FOR THE RECALL AND REIMBURSE ME FOR THE EXPENSE THEY SHOULD HAVE COVERED INITIALLY.

SINCE SECOND YEAR WHEN I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE, SOME TIMES I TUNED OFF, THEN FAILS TO STARS, THEREAFTER FEW HOURS TURNED ON, AND STEERING LOSS OF POWER AND IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN, SUDDENLY TURNED OFF AND ON, THE CAR AND PROBLEM SOLVE (4 TIMES) THRU THE YEARS, AND ONE TIME WHEN I WAS DRIVING CODE POPS UP SAYING POWER ASSIST FAULT, THEN DISAPPEAR. APPROXIMATELY 2 MONTHS AGO, I ARRIVED AT ONE LOCATION NEAR BY LINCOLN FORD OF SANTA MONICA, MY SON, TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE AND DID NOT TURNED ON, THE VEHICLE OVERNIGHT AT THAT LOCATION, NEXT FOLLOWING DAY WE TURNED IN THE DEALER ABOVE NOTED. AFTER FEW DAYS THEY SAID THIS SERIAL NUMBER IS NOT COVER BY THE RECALL, ONLY FEW OTHER SAME, YEAR AND SAME MODEL BUT NOT THIS ONE IS COVER BY THE RECALL, OF THE POWER STEERING SENSOR. THEY WERE UNABLE TO LOAD THE CODES OF THE VEHICLE, SAID THEY NEED TO LOAD THE COMPUTER DATA. NOW AFTER 2 MONTHS THAT MY CAR IS SITTING IN THE DRIVEWAY, I WILL TUNED IN THEODORE ROBINSON DEALER IN THE CITY OF COSTA MESA 04/13/2021. PLEASE INCLUDE THIS IN THE RECALL, SAME YEAR, SAME MODEL, SAME SENSOR VEHICLES ARE INCLUDED. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE? IF THEY ARE THE SAME COMPONENTS. WHY SOME VEHICLES WITH THE EXACTLY SAME COMPONENTS ARE COVERED BY THE RECALL AND OTHERS NOT????????????? PLEASE THIS IS AN EXPENSE REPAIR, WHY WE HAVE TO PAID FOR A MALFUNCTIONING PART THAT CAUSE US LOST OF OUR TIME,, MONEY AND ON TOP WE HAVE TO PAY??
My reverse screen camera doesn't work. The warning beeps do intermittently, but the view does not and hasn't for years. I just get a message. Sometimes if I turn the camera off and then on it resets it. I got this tip from someone at Ford. This year and make should be part of the recall.
UNKNOWN, the vehicle comes to a sudden stop regardless of how fast your going , error comes up says see manual , engine overheating comes on after driving less than 5 miles
I NOTICED ON THE FORD PASS APP THAT THERE WAS A WARRANTY EXTENSION FOR THE APIM ON THE SYNC SYSTEM. THEY (FORD) EXPLAINED TO ME THAT THE NOTIFICATION WAS SENT TO A PREVIOUS OWNER AND NOT ME (I HAVE OWNED THE CAR SINCE 2016). THEY NOW SAY THIS EXTENSION IS EXPIRED AND THE COST WOULD HAVE TO BE MY RESPONSIBILITY.

EMAILED PICTURES TO SERVICE ADVISOR EARLY MORNING CALLED A FEW MINS LATER SAID HE GET THEM TO HIS GM MANAGER ASAP. NEVER GOT A RESPONSE DECIDED I'D SWING BY ON MY WAY HOME. ASKED WHAT THE DEAL WAS. SAID THEY HADN'T HAD A CHANCE TO LOOK AT IT YET. [XXX], CAN I AT LEAST HAVE SOMETHING SAYING IT'S SAFE TO DRIVE WITH THESE OLD RECALLED LINKS THEY DENIED THE REQUEST. SAID MAYBE FORD CHANGED THE PART AND IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE. ASKED ASSISTANT SERVICE MANAGER TO LOOK AT THE LINKS. EXPLAINED THE WELD THAT HOLD THE ROD AND BUSHING TOGETHER IS WHAT'S BREAKING. THE NEW PART HAS NO WELD AND IS ONCE PIECE. SHE SAYS SHE'S NOT SURE BUT IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE A NEW PART. 73K MILES OF ROAD GRIME STILL ON IT LOOKING LIKE THE REST OF THE SUSPENSION. WELL I GET HOME AND SHE CALLS ME. SAID I WAS RIGHT THAT IS THE OLD PART AND THE NEW ONE IS SUPPOSE TO BE A ONE PIECE. I SAY GREAT. BUT SHE'S WONDERING WHY THE TECH MIGHT HAVE PENCILED WHIPPED THE SAFETY RECALL OR IF POSSIBLY IT WAS A ERROR PUT MY PAPER WORK CLEARLY HAS NOTES FROM THE TECH STATING TOE LINKS WERE REPLACED AND ALIGNMENT WAS PERFORMED TO BE IN SPEC AND TEST DROVE CARE AND IS IN SPEC. THERE IS A RECALL THAT DESCRIBE THIS AS (15V340000 OR FORD 15S18) BUT FORD SAYS IT DOES NOT APPLY TO MY VEHICLE THOUGH THE DESCRIPTION IS IDENTICAL TO WHAT HAPPENED TO ME. I BELIEVE THAT THE PROBLEM THIS RECALL DESCRIBES IS NOT LIMITED TO THE SCOPE OF VEHICLES FORD CLAIMS AS PROBLEMATIC.
THE POWER STEERING ASSIST FAILED WHILE DRIVING CAUSING ME TO ALMOST HAVE AN ACCIDENT.
I TOOK MY CAR TO A LOCAL SHOP FOR LOWER CONTROL ARMS. THE SHOP MANAGER CALLED AND TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ON MY CAR. SO I TRIED TO CONTACT 2 DIFFERENT FORD DEALERSHIPS. NEITHER ONE WANTS TO EVEN LOOK AT IT. THE DEALERSHIPS WANTED OVER $150 TO LOOK AT THE RECALL ISSUE. I AM HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE STEERING. THE CAR DOES NOT WANT TO DRIVE STRAIGHT. MY CAR IS A 2013 AND HAS AROUND 143,000 MILES ON IT.
RADIO WORKS NO AUDIO SOUND COMING THROUGH SPEAKERS, TRIED SYNC DID NOT WORK.
I WENT TO GET MY TWO LOWER CONTROL ARMS TO BE REPLACED. AND MY MECHANIC SAID THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ON MY VEHICLE ON MY RACK AND PINION. SO I TOOK IT TO TWO DIFFERENT FORD DEALERSHIPS AND THEY SAID THAT WANTED OVER $150 TO EVEN LOOK AT IT AND TELL ME IF IT WOULD THROW ANY CODES. BUT IF YOU JUST DROVE THE CAR YOU CAN TELL SOMETHING IS STILL WRONG WITH IT. I'M SCARED.
MY 2103 FORD TAURUS LOST THE POWER STEERING WHILE MY WIFE WAS DRIVING YESTERDAY ON A COUNTY ROAD WHILE ATTEMPTING TO MAKE A TURN. LUCKILY SHE WAS ABLE TO FIGHT THE STEERING BY MUSCLING IT TO GET THE CAR UNDER CONTROL AND OFF THE ROAD. TWO NOTICES NOW APPEAR ON THE DASH. 1. POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT AND 2. SERVICE ADVANCE TRACK. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT MANY FORD VEHICLES INCLUDING MANY BUT NOT ALL 2013 FORD TAURUS HAVE BEEN RECALLED AND REPAIRED UNDER WARRANTY FOR THIS KNOWN SAFETY CONDITION, HOWEVER THE LOCAL FORD DEALER TELLS ME THAT MY VIN NUMBER IS NOT COVERED BY THIS RECALL. I FEEL THAT SINCE THIS IS A VERIFIED KNOWN PROBLEM AND A RECALL NOTICE FOR THIS PROBLEM EXISTS THAT ALL 2013 FORD TAURUS WITH THIS KNOWN CRITICAL SAFETY ISSUE SHOULD ALSO BE INCLUDED WITH THE RECALL. I THINK THAT THE RECALL # IS 15S18.
A WRENCH APPEARS IN THE DISPLAY AND CAR GOES INTO LIMP MODE. YOU CUT THE CAR OFF AND REMOVE THE KEY AND THEN IT START BACK UP WITH NO ALARM CODE LEFT ON THE VEHICLE. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS IF DRIVING ON THE HWY.

The contact owns a 2013 Ford Taurus. The contact stated that they attempted to start the vehicle after the vehicle had been parked however, the vehicle failed to start-up. The vehicle revved for 10-15 seconds but failed to start. During the failure, the key ceased in the ignition until the engine stopped revving. The contact was then able to remove the key from the ignition. The contact stated the failure recurred twice. The vehicle was towed to a certified mechanic who diagnosed that the fuel pump failed and needed to be replaced. The contact then had the vehicle towed to the dealer who confirmed the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 85,251.
REAR TOE LINKS BROKEN
MY ENGINE LIGHT IS CAME ON. AT FIRST IT WAS READING THAT MY FUEL PUMP WAS GOING BAD. I'VE RECENTLY REPLACED MY FUEL PUMP AND NOW MY ENGINE LIGHT IS BACK ON AND ITS READING TWO DIFFERENT CODES. ONE IS A LEAK WITH MY GAS CAP. THE OTHER ONE IS ELETRICAL. MY CAR HAS CUT OFF ME AS IF I'VE RAN OUT OF GAS AND I WASN'T REALLY OUT OF GAS. WHEN I HAVE SOMEONE COME AND BRING ME GAS IN A GAS CAN, WHILE POURING THE GAS IN ITS LEAKING RIGHT OUT AS IF MY THING ISNT CONNECTED OR I HAD A LINE THATS CUT. MY GAS METER ISNT WORKING PROPERLU EITHER AND WHEN I PUT MY CAR IN REVERSE ALL OF MY LIGHTS TURN ON AND WHEN I PUT IT IN DRIVE THEY CUT OFF. MY STEREO FREEZES AND CUTS ON AND OFF.

HOWEVER WHEN I HAVE THE VIN NUMBER CHECKED, MY LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP ( LITHIA SPRINGS,GA) SAY MY CAR IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS RECALL. MY CAR IS HAVING THE EXACT PROBLEM THE RECALL IDENTIFIES, BUT FORD WILL NOT PAY FOR IT BECAUSE MY VIN NUMBER IS NOT IN THE RECALL. MY MECHANIC IDENTIFIED THE RECALL AND THE EXACT PROBLEM WITH MY CAR. I AM FRUSTRATED BECAUSE I AM HAVING THE EXACT PROBLEM THE RECALL DESCRIBES AND I AM FEARFUL OF DRIVING THE CAR BECAUSE RECENTLY THE CAR STOPPED IN MY SUBDIVISION WHEN I WAS TURNING ON TO THE MAIN ROAD. THAT IS, THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED AND I HAD TO TURN THE CAR OFF AND RESTART IT. THIS HAS ONLY HAPPENED IN THE PAST WHEN I INITIALLY STARTED THE CAR-IN MY DRIVEWAY. MY MECHANIC HAS SAID IT IS 'THE STEERING CONTROL MOGEAL FAULT & THE STEERING ANGEL FAULT' AND THE RECALL SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBES 'THE AFFECTED VEHICLES HAVE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING ASSIST SYSTEM THAT MAY SHUT DOWN AS RESULT OF A STEERING MOTOR SENSOR FAILURE. CONSEQUENCE: IF THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCES A LOSS OF POWER STEERING ASSIST, EXTRA STEERING EFFORT WILL BE REQUIRED AT LOWER SPEEDS, INCREASING THE RISK OF A VEHICLE CRASH'.THIS ALSO CAN HAPPEN ON THE ROAD AND CAUSE A POTENTIALLY SERIOUS ACCIDENT. WE CANNOT DRIVE THE CAR NOW BECAUSE WE ARE AFRAID WE WILL BE KILLED OR MAIMED IF IT HAPPENS OUTSIDE OF OUR SUBDIVISION. PLEASE HELP.
I HAD PROBLEMS WITH MY FUEL INJECTION FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS LOOKED IT UP AND EVEN TOOK IT TO 3 DEALERSHIPS AND A FULL SERVICES PLACE ALL SAYING THE SAME THING. SO I LOOKED IT UP AND THERE WAS A RECALL FOR IT AND SEATBELTS AND AIRBAGS BUT MY VIN# WASN'T ON THE LIST. EVERYONE I KNOW WHO GOT A CAR LIKE MINES HAD THE RECALL AND WAS FIXED. I AM NOW PAYING OUT OF POCKET FOR THE AIRBAGS AND MY RADIO AND BACK CAM NOW IS ACTING CRAZY SHOW UPSIDE DOWN AND THE RADIO KEEP GOING OUT. I NEED SOME HELP CAN'T AFFORD ALL THESE ISSUES WITH MY CAR WHEN THEY ARE ON YOUR RECALL LIST .PLEASE IF YOU CAN RE-EVALUATE MY NUMBER THE BACK CAM ACTS UP WHEN BACKING UP EVERYTHING IS UPSIDE DOWN. THE FUEL INJECTION HAVE PROBLEMS WHEN STARTING AND WHILE DRIVING IT WILL SLOW DOWN THEN CAUGHT UP AND SPEED UP. THE AIRBAGS RECENTLY CAME OUT GETTING IT FIX BY A BODY SHOP AND PAYING OUT OF POCKET TO KEEP MY INSURANCE FROM TOTALING IT OUT. THE SEAT BELTS KEEP LOCKING UP AT TIMES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 129,000.

BAD REAR TOE LINKS ON CAR WITH 26,000 MILES PURCHASED NEW
MY WARNING LIGHT SHOWING "POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULTY" SHOWED UP ABOUT A MONTH AGO ON MY DASH, I COULDN'T STEER LEFT OR RIGHT. THE WHEEL WAS VERY HARD AND SCARY TOO. I CUT OFF THE ENGINE AND RESTARTED, AND THE WARNING WENT AWAY. SAME MONTH, ANOTHER WARNING SHOWED UP SAYING "SERVICE ADVANCE TRAC" AND WENT OFF BY ITSELF. TWO DAYS AGO THE 29TH OF SEPTEMBER, 2020 I DROVE MY VEHICLE TO WORK. AT 17:05 I LEFT WORK AND STARTED MY ENGINE, I GOT ON THE INTERSTATE AND BOTH LIGHTS CAME BACK AT THE SAME TIME. POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULTY, AND SERVICE ADVANCE TRAC WARNING BOTH CAME ON. I COULDN'T STEER LEFT OR RIGHT, NEITHER COULD I USE THE BLINKER. THESE WAS THE MOST SCARIEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE AS I ALMOST CRASHED MY CAR. I DEPLOYED MY BEST DRIVING SKILL TO GET MY VEHICLE HOME WITHOUT KILLING MYSELF OR HURTING ANYONE. I MADE IT SAFE TO MY PARKING LOT, TURNED OFF MY THE ENGINE AND STARTED IT AGAIN, THE FAULT WAS STILL THERE, THE STEERING IS VERY HARD TO TURN LEFT OR RIGHT. DEALERSHIP SAID IT'S MY POWER STEERING MOTOR (RACKET PINION) AND HAVE TO BRING IT IN FOR REPLACEMENT. THE COST OF REPLACEMENT IS RIDICULOUSLY HIGH AND I CANNOT AFFORD IT. I HAD OTHER PROFESSIONALS LOOK AT IT, THEY DIAGNOSED SAME THING. MY VEHICLE IS TOO YOUNG TO HAVE SUCH LIFE THREATENING MALFUNCTION. LOTS OF COMPLAINANTS HAVE EXACT SIMILAR SITUATION FROM THE RESEARCH I'VE MADE. COST OF FIXING MY CAR WOULD BREAK MY BANK. I DON'T HAVE IT AND LEFT WITH NO OPTION BUT TO LEAVE THE CAR IN MY PARKING LOT UNTIL I CAN FIGURE WHAT TO DO WITH IT. IF FORD IS MAKING VEHICLE TO KILL US, WE NEED TO KNOW SO WE CAN AT LEAST INCREASE OUR LIFE INSURANCE AND BUY CASKET WAITING TO DIE ALL BECAUSE WE BOUGHT OUR OWN DEATH. THIS IS THE SCARIEST DRIVING EXPERIENCE EVER. NOW I HAVE NO VEHICLE, BUT LEFT WITH OPTIONS OF RENTALS AND DOING WHATEVER IT TAKES TO GET TO WORK. NOT NICE AT ALL.
THE 2013 TAURUS HAS RIGHT AT 60,000 MILES ON IT AND IS MAINTAINED REGULARLY AT THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP. I'VE NEVER BEEN NOTIFIED OF THIS RECALL FOR THE STEERING EPAS SYSTEM FAILING, BUT IT HAPPENED LAST WEEK. WITHOUT NOTICE OR WARNING, AS WE BACKED OUT OF THE GARAGE, THE VEHICLE LOST POWER STEERING CAPABILITY AND TURNING IT OFF AND RESTARTING DID NOT FIX THE ISSUE. AS I PULLED BACK IN THE STABILITY CONTROL WARNING LIGHT CAME ON INDICATING FAILURE OF THAT SYSTEM AS WELL.
SYNC SOFTWARE NOT WORKING PROPERLY, AIR BAG LIGHT IS ON WHEN SCAN SHOWS SEAT BELTS BUT ARE WORKING PROPERLY. CALLED FORD I WAS TOLD BY NUMEROUS REPRESENTATIVES THAT HAD TO DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE WHICH I ID AND DID NOT WORK, THE LAST ONE I SPOKE TO SAID IT HAD TO BE DEALER ONLY
THE CAR WILL STALL WHILE DRIVING OR IN PARK. WE HAVE PUT 2 NEW FUEL PUMP MODULES IN IT AND NOW IT IS DOING AGAIN, NEEDING A THIRD REPLACEMENT. IT HAS 111,000 MILES ON IT AND THE LAST ONE WAS PUT ON JUST 6 MONTHS AGO. THERE IS A RECALL FOR 2013 TAURUS FOR THE FUEL PUMP BUT IT DOESN'T SHOW MY VIN AS BEING COVERED BY THE RECALL. THIS IS DANGEROUS. IT JUST SHUTS OFF THE ENGINE WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING. I HAVE SEEN OTHER COMPLAINTS THAT ARE EXACTLY THE SAME ISSUE. IT HAPPENS WHILE DRIVING AND PARKED AT ANY RATE OF SPEED.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEALER ATTEMPTED TO SELL HER ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE RECURRED SEVERAL TIMES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,100.
I WAS DRIVING AND HAD TO MAKE A U-TURN, AS A MAKE MY LEFT U TURN A GET A BEEPING NOISE FROM THE DASH SAYING THAT 'POWER STEERING FAILURE' AND NOW THE CAR IS REALLY HARD TO TURN. I KNOW THAT FORD HAS RECALLS ON 2013-2015 VEHICLES WITH THIS SAME SYSTEM HOWEVER THEY EXCLUDED THE TAURUS AND MANY OTHER VEHICLES THAT ARE PRONE TO FAILURE.

I LOOKING AT EVERY ONE WITH THE SAME CAR GETTING THERE STEERING PROBLEM FIXED BUT MINES. I FOUND THE CODE WHICH IS 15S18 AND I STILL CAN NOT GET MY STEERING WHEEL FIX. THIS THE FIRST FORD I EVER HAD AND WILL BE THE LAST.
