AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON/OFF, TOOK VEHICLE TO FORD DEALERSHIP,, THEY SAID THERE ARE NO RECALLS, HOWEVER I HAVE TWO RECALL NUMBERS 00V270000 AND 00V412000 CONCERNING THE RCM-RESTRAINT CONTROL MODULE-THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE, I DON'T FEEL I SHOULD HAVE TO PAY A FEE FOR THEM TO INSPECT MY VEHICLE IF A RECALL EXIST FOR THE PROBLEM I IDENTIFIED ALREADY CALLED THE FORT CUSTOMER SUPPORT NUMBER THEY ARE THE ONES WHO SAID NO RECALLS EXIST FOR THIS VEHICLE. *TR
ABS AND BRAKE LIGHTS ALWAYS ON
WHEN DRIVING A VARIOUS SPEEDS, ABS AND BRAKE LIGHTS COME ON AND STAY ON. *JS
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD WINDSTAR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKE LIGHT CONTINUED TO ILLUMINATE AFTER THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WAS DISENGAGED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS HOWEVER, THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THERE WAS A MANUFACTURER'S RECALL FOR THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 128,000.
THE CHECK TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT COMES ON. BRAKE LIGHT, ABS LIGHT AND TRACTION OFF LIGHT START BLINKING, TURN OFF THE IGNITION FOR A FEW MINUTES AND ALL IS WELL FOR A FEW SECONDS OR MABY A FEW DAYS, (THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN ALL THE TIME. I THINK THE PROBLEM IS SOMEHOW RELATED TO TEMPERATURE BECAUSE AS SOON AS IT GETS COLD, (BELOW ABOUT 30 DEGREES) THE PROBLEM GOES AWAY TIL WARMER WEATHER AND WHEN IT GETS VREY WARM IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME. I SUSPECT THIS PROBLEM MAY BE RELATED TO A DEFECT IN THE ECM AS THIS MIGHT EXPLAIN THE TEMP SITUATION. NOTE ALSO FORTUNATELY DURING THE WINTER THE TRACTION CONTROL WORKS FINE BUT WHEN THIS LIGHT PROBLEM IS AROUND THE TRACTION CONTROL DOES NOT WORK. *JS
THE ABS, BRAKE, AND TRAC LIGHTS COME ON WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN EVERY TIME, BUT HAS BECOME MORE FREQUENT. HAVE NOT FOUND A REASON FOR IT TO COME ON, LIKE HITTING BUMPS OR WET WHETHER. THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM ISSUES IS REAR WINDOWS WON'T OPEN ALL OF THE TIME. THE DOOR LOCKS DON'T WORK ALL OF THE TIME. THE LIGHTS IN AND OUTSIDE THE VAN DIM IN AND OUT. *TR
ABS LIGHT COMES ON AND APPEARS ONE SIDE TRIES TO ENGAGE ABS. MECHANIC SAYS MANY CODES ARE DISPLAYED. *TR
RED BRAKE LIGHT AND YELLOW ABS LIGHT ON AT SAME TIME. AT FIRST INTERMITTENT THEN MORE LIKELY ON THAN OFF IN JUNE OF 2014 I FOUND LEAKING BRAKE FLUID FROM SWITCH ON BOTTOM OF MASTER CYLINDER AND FOUND BRAKE FLUID LEAKING TO NUMEROUS ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS CAUSING O/D LIGHT TO COME ON INTERMITTENTLY SPEEDOMETER WOULD STOP WORKING ODOMETER SHOWS - - - - - IN PLACE OF MILEAGE. LEARNED OF RECALL VIA INTERNET AND TOOK VEHICLE TO RON CARTER FORD 3005 FM 528 ALVIN TX 77512 ON 07/17/2014. THEY EXPLAINED THAT IN SPITE OF ALL DAMAGE CAUSED THE ONLY THING THEY WOULD DO WAS REPLACE LEAKING SWITCH WITH NEW ONE AS MANDATED BY THE RECALL. THEY REPLACED THIS SWITCH AND RETURNED VEHICLE WITH ALL OF THE SAME PROBLEMS INCLUDING BRAKE FLUID INSIDE THE TRANSMISSION RANGE SELECTOR SWITCH AND VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR DIRECTLY UNDERNEATH MASTER CYLINDER. I CANNOT TELL IF THE VEHICLE STILL PRESENTS A FIRE HAZARD OR NOT AS THERE IS STILL BRAKE FLUID EVERYWHERE. RON CARTER REFUSES TO LOOK AT VEHICLE OR PROVIDE ANY FURTHER REPAIRS EVEN THOUGH THIS IS CLEARLY ALL RELATED TO THE RECALL. *TR
ON 8-7-13 I WAS DRIVING BACK HOME AN 2 LIGHTS PRIOR TO MY STREET THE BRAKES STARTED CLICKING WHEN PRESSED AND AFTER A FEW BLOCKS THEY STARTED WORKING FINE. TODAY THE SAME HAPPENED WHEN DRIVING DOWNHILL FROM WHERE I LIVE. I TOOK IT TO HAVE IT CHECKED BECAUSE OF THE ABS LIGHT AND I WAS GIVEN DTC C1185. THEY SAID THAT THE ABS MODULATOR NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AND THEY GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE OF $950. I WAS LOOKING FOR THE PART AND FOUND THAT I AM NOT ALONE IN THIS ISSUE. THEREFORE I AM POSTING IT. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD WINDSTAR. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE REAR SUSPENSION COLLAPSED AND CAUSED THE DRIVERS SIDE REAR TIRE TO BLOWOUT. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE TO HIS RESIDENCE WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS LATER TOWED TO A DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED NOR WAS THE FAILURE DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 201,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD WINDSTAR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS FAILED TO OPERATE INTERMITTENTLY. THE CONTACT ALSO MENTIONED THAT THE WIPERS WOULD STOP MIDWAY AND THE CONTACT WOULD HAVE TO MANUALLY RESET THE WIPERS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 169,000.

INTERMITTENT ABS BRAKE LIGHT. LIGHT COMES ON AND GOES OFF AT WILL. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD WINDSTAR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE REAR AXLE FAILED AND BECAME FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSIS WHERE IT WAS STATED THAT THE DRIVER'S SIDE REAR AXLE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 175,000. UPDATED 9/5/13 *CN UPDATED 09/13/2013 *JS
HAD THE VEHICLE SERVICED FOR 2 CORROSION RECALLS. WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY APPROX. 60MPH, HEARD A POP IN THE AREA OF THE RIGHT FRONT TIRE. TOOK VAN TO THE SHOP I USE, WHERE I WAS TOLD IT WAS PART OF THE FRAME AND NEED TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALERSHIP(BLACKWELL FORD, PLYMOUTH, MI. 48170). DEALERSHIP SAID THE VAN NEEDED A SUBFRAME ASSY. AND RIGHT SWAY BAR BUSHING BRACKET, AND POSSIBLY MORE. ALL WAS DUE TO CORROSION, COMBINATION POOR DESIGN AND INFERIOR MATERIAL. THEY CONTACTED FORD MOTOR, SENT ESTIMATE, PICTURES AND INFORMATION. FORDS RESPONSE IS THAT IT WASN'T PART OF ANY RECALL, EVEN THOUGH THERE HAS BEEN AT LEAST TWO FOR CORROSION THAT I AM AWARE OF. THIS IS CLEARLY A DESIGN AND/OR A MATERIAL ISSUE WITH MY WINDSTAR. IT IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE, AND THERE IS NO WAY, WITH MY CONSCIOUS THAT I CAN TRY TO SELL IT. THIS IS AN ONGOING ISSUE WITH THE WINDSTAR. I'M SURE THIS IS PART OF HUNDREDS IF NOT THOUSANDS OF COMPLAINTS ON THIS ISSUE, WHAT CAN BE DONE? HOW MANY INJURIES OR DEATHS HAVE THERE BEEN BECAUSE OF CORROSION ISSUE WITH THE WINDSTAR? THE ABS LIGHT, TRACTION CONTROL, AND EMERGENCY BRAKE LIGHTS HAVE BEEN COMING ON AND OFF FOR ABOUT THREE YEARS. TOOK IT TO THE MECHANIC MULTITUDE OF TIMES AND NO PROBLEM FOUND. FINALLY BRAKES FAILED AND ALMOST CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. MASTER CYLINDER WAS REPLACED AND LIGHTS STILL COME ON. BRAKES SEEMED TO BE WORKING FINE BUT AM TERRIBLY CONCERNED ABOUT THIS AND WORRIED IT MIGHT HAPPEN AGAIN. CAR VIBRATES A LITTLE WHEN BRAKE IS PRESSED WHEN THE LIGHTS ARE ON. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT FORD SHOULD ADDRESSED. *TR
ECU MODULE FOR ABS IS SHORTED OUT AND CAUSES GAUGE CLUSTER TO SHORT OUT. THIS CAUSES ABS LIGHT & BRAKE LIGHT TO TURN ON AND ALL GAUGES STOP WORKING AND THEY JUMP AROUND . THIS WAS DIAGNOSED BY FORD DEALERSHIP IN WI. SAID BRAKE FLUID LEAKS IN TO ECU AND SHORTS OUT WIRES . TOLD ME . $2000.00 TO FIX . THESE PROBLEMS ARE A SAFETY ISSUE . ALL PARTS ARE AFFECTED, MY CAR WHICH IS FORD WINDSTAR 2001 , IT GOT FIRED BY ITSELF AT EARLY MORNINGS WHILE IT WAS PARKED AND IGNITION WAS OFF, WE ARE THE VICTIM OF THE FORD WINDSTAR 2001,MY CAR IS TOTALLY BURNED. *TR

THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED THAT THERE WAS ADDITIONAL RUST ON THE TRANSMISSION MOUNT AND THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE CORNER OF THE UNDER CARRIAGE. THE MANUFACTURE WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD WINDSTAR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, A BURNING RUBBER SMELL CAME FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT MOVED OFF THE ROADWAY TO EXAMINE THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THAT THE REAR DRIVER'S SIDE TIRE WAS RUBBING AGAINST THE WHEEL WELL. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER, WHO STATED THAT THE REAR AXLE WAS BROKEN. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 12V194000 (SUSPENSION) BUT WAS TOLD BY THE DEALER THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000.
WHILE SITTING AT THE RED LIGHT MY BRAKE LIGHT, ABS LIGHT, OVER DRIVE LIGHTS ALL CAME ON AND THEN MY SPEEDOMETER WOULD NOT REGISTER WHEN I STARTED TO GO WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN. *TR
ABS BRAKE LIGHTS COME ON WHEN THERE IS NO PROBLEM. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE YEARS I HAVE OWNED THIS VEHICLE. *TR
MY 2001 FORD WINDSTAR VAN STARTED LIGHTING UP ON THE DASH WHILE DRIVING THEN WOULD GO OUT, KEPT GETTING WORSE. NOW THE ABS AND BRAKE LIGHT STAYS ON ALL THE TIME, ALSO MY LOW TIRE LIGHT AND THERE IS THE PROPER IN AIR IN TIRE. IN APRIL 17TH 2015, MY SPEEDOMETER STARTED ACTING UP, WOULD NOT REGISTER THE SPEED I WAS TRAVELLING. I WOULD SHUT DOWN THE MOTOR AND WHEN I RESTARTED MOVING AGAIN THE NEEDLE WOULD JUMP AND START REGISTERING THE PROPER SPEED. WHEN I STOPPED AGAIN IT WOULD DO THE SAME THING AGAIN. I COULD PUT THE CRUISE ON AND GUESS WHAT SPEED I WAS AT, I WAS LUCKY THAT I DID NOT GET STOPPED FOR GOING TO FAST. LATELY, I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO SET THE CRUISE. TODAY THE SPEEDOMETER WOULD NOT WORK, THEN IT CAME ON. IT IS FRUSTRATING NOT KNOWING WHAT SPEED I AM TRAVELLING. I NEED MY VEHICLE TO GET TO DOCTOR APP'TS AND GROCERY SHOPPING. THIS IS MY COMPLAINT, WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT IT.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD WINDSTAR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH, THE SUBFRAME DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE SUBFRAME WAS CORRODED. THE VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 12V194000 (SUSPENSION). THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED NO FURTHER REPAIR WOULD BE PROVIDED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 173,000. *TR
ABS LIGHT ON AND BRAKE LIGHT ON, NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THE BRAKES THEY WORK FINE. APPARENTLY THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE THAT FORD HASN'T ISSUES A RECALL ON IT. ECU MASTER RELAY HAS A BAD SOLDIER JOINT WHICH FAILS PREMATURELY AND CAUSES THE ABS LIGHT AND DTC C1185. IT ALSO CAUSES THE ENHANCED ABS BRAKING SYSTEM TO BECOME INOPERABLE. *TR
MY ABS WARNING LIGHT CAME ON AND THE BRAKE WARNING LIGHT WAS COMING ON AND OFF. I TOOK IT TO BE REPAIRED AND A CODE SHOWED UP FOR AN ABS SENSOR ON THE FRONT LEFT TIRE. IT WAS REPLACED. THE LIGHTS ARE STILL COMING ON AND GOING OFF AND BACK ON ETC...I TOOK THE VAN BACK AND A NEW CODE APPEARED-C1185. THIS CODE DOES NOT SHOW UP IN THE LIST OF CODES FOR MY VEHICLE ON MY MECHANICS COMPUTER. MY MECHANIC BELIEVES IT IS AN ABS RELAY MALFUNCTION. I CALLED A FORD DEALER WHO SAID HIS COMPUTER WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY AND TO CALL BACK ANOTHER TIME. THERE HAVE BEEN MANY RECALLS ON THIS MODEL VAN AND I HAVE HAD MANY PROBLEMS WITH IT FOR MANY YEARS. WHEN IT COMES TO BRAKES, IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE. *TR

I TOOK IT IN FOR THE RECALL ON THE AXLE. THEY INSPECTED AND TOLD ME IT WAS FINE. I WAS UNAWARE THAT THEY DID ANYTHING TO IT. THREE WEEKS AGO, I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM THE GYM WHEN MY CAR STARTED SOUNDING ODD. I... PULLED OVER AND NOTICED MY TIRES WERE LEANING IN. MY AXLE HAD SNAPPED. I CALLED THE FORD DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD INDEED FIX IT DUE TO THE RECALL. I HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP IN TAYLOR. THAT NEXT MONDAY WAS MEMORIAL DAY SO I DID NOT HEAR ANYTHING FROM THEM UNTIL THEY CALLED ON TUESDAY AND STATED THEY WILL NOT FIX IT BECAUSE THEY HAD PLACED BRACKETS ON IT 2 YEAR AGO. THEY SAID THEY HAD COMPLIED WITH THE RECALL AND THEY WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS REPAIR. WHAT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND IS HOW THEY BELIEVE THIS IS ACCEPTABLE. IF FORD HAD FIXED THE PROBLEM IN THE FIRST PLACE THIS WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN AN ISSUE. I COULD HAVE BEEN DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY OR MY KIDS COULD HAVE BEEN IN THE CAR. I HAVE CONTACTED FORD AND ASKED FOR THEM TO RECONSIDER THIS TO NO AVAIL. THANK YOU. *TR

CONSUMER PULLED OVER AN HER TIRE WAS LEANING IN, BECAUSE THE AXLE HAD SNAPPED. *LN THE DEALER INFORMED THE CONSUMER THEY WOULD NOT REPAIR THE VEHICLE UNDER THE RECALL, BECAUSE THEY PLACED ON BRACKETS ON THE AXLE, TWO YEARS PRIOR. THE DEALER STATED THEY HAD COMPLIED WITH THE RECALL.

I AM IN THE PROCESS OF TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT IS GOING ON. WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE (WITH CRUISE CONTROL ON) I NOTICED THE OD LIGHT STARTED FLASHING AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. I PULLED OVER AND THE BRAKES WERE SMOKING TO THE POINT I WAS AFRAID THERE WOULD BE A FIRE. I HAD TO SIT ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WITH MY TODDLERS AND WAIT FOR IT TO STOP SMOKING. I WAS STILL ABOUT 20 MILES FROM HOME. I AM NOT SOMEONE WHO IS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO HAVE FAMILY NEARBY OR FRIENDS WHO COULD HELP. WE ARE ON A TIGHT BUDGET WITH A CHILD WHO HAS SPECIAL NEEDS AND ONLY ONE WORKING PARENT SO COULD NOT AFFORD A TOW. THE 'CHECK ENGINE' LIGHT STAYED ON BUT THE OD WAS OFF UPON STARTING THE VEHICLE. THE OD CAME ON 2X IN THE 20 MILES IT TOOK TO ARRIVE. EACH TIME IT CAME ON I PULLED OVER, TURNED THE VAN OFF AND BACK ON. WHEN THE OD WAS FLASHING WHEN I LET OFF THE ACCELERATOR, EVEN ON AN INCLINE, IT WAS SLOWING ME DOWN SO I FIGURED THE BRAKES WERE ENGAGED. WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL ON I WAS UNABLE TO TELL SO I WAS PUSHING IT UP TO 70MPH WITH THE BRAKES GOING AGAINST IT. ON THE WAY HOME I DID NOT USE CRUISE CONTROL BUT IT KEPT HAPPENING ONLY IT WAS VERY NOTICEABLE THAT THE BRAKES WERE RUBBING. THERE IS NOW BRAKE DUST ALL OVER MY TIRES AND THE SIDE OF THE VAN. THIS COULD HAVE CAUSED AN ACCIDENT, THIS COULD HAVE CAUSED A FIRE! MY DAUGHTER IS DISABLED AND IN A COMPLEX CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM WITH STRAPS AND POSITIONERS. I ALSO HAVE A 1 YR OLD AND IF SOMETHING HAD HAPPENED I AM NOT CONFIDENT I COULD HAVE GOTTEN THEM BOTH OUT IN TIME HAD A FIRE STARTED. I NEED THIS VAN TO CARRY MY DAUGHTERS WHEEL CHAIR AROUND. FOR MONTHS, THE ABS LIGHT AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS COME ON INTERMITTENTLY. CURRENTLY THE LIGHTS ARE STAYING ON AND IT MUST BE JUMPED TO START. THE BATTERY WAS CHECKED AND WAS OKAY. SOMETHING IS DRAINING THE BATTERY. *TR
ON 01/06/2011 I TOOK MY MINIVAN IN FOR THE RECALL ON THE AXLE. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS FINE AND SENT ME HOME. ON FRIDAY WHILE DRIVING ON NORTHLINE ROAD IN SOUTHGATE MICHIGAN, MY AXLE SNAPPED. I TOOK IT TO THE TAYLOR FORD AND THEY SAID IT WOULD BE FIXED BY FORD. I WAS TOLD TODAY 05/28/2013THAT THEY WOULD NOT COVER THE REPAIR DUE TO THE FACT THEY PUT BRACKETS ON IT IN 2011. I WAS NOT INFORMED OF THE FACT THEY PUT BRACKETS ON IT IN 2011. I WAS DRIVING A VEHICLE THAT WAS DANGEROUS ON THE FREEWAY. *TR
ON SEVERAL DIFFERENT OCCASIONS I WILL BE DRIVING MY VAN AND THE ABS AND BRAKE LIGHT COME ON. FINALLY TODAY WE WERE ABLE TO GET A CODE AND IT IS 1185. WE WERE NOT ABLE TO GET A CODE UP UNTIL TODAY BECAUSE WHEN YOU TURN THE VEHICLE OFF IT RESETS THE LIGHTS ON THE DASH. MY MECHANIC IS LOOKING UP THE CODE TO SEE WHAT IT IS. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD WINDSTAR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, SHE NOTICED SMOKE EMITTING FROM THE VEHICLE AS THE VEHICLE BECAME DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER. THE CONTACT INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND DISCOVERED THAT THE REAR TIRES WERE AWKWARDLY TURNED OUTWARD. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSIS AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE REAR AXLE WAS FRACTURED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED OF A RECALL FOR THE FAILURE UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 10V385000 (SUSPENSION). THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND ADVISED THAT THE RECALL HAD BEEN PERFORMED ON THE VEHICLE MORE THAN A YEAR PRIOR TO THE RECENT FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT FURTHER REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 136,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR INSPECTION, WHO INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE ENTIRE SUB FRAME WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE GOING TO A LOCAL FAST FOOD WHEN I LOSS ALL ACCELERATION THE CAR WAS SLOWING DOWN EVEN THOUGH I WAS GIVING IT GAS. KNOWING I WAS SLOWING DOWN I TURNED MY HAZARD LIGHTS ON AND COASTED TO THE SHOULDER LANE THE CAR WAS STILL RUNNING SO I TURNED THE CAR ON AND OFF. JUST LOOKING FOR A SOLUTION TO WHAT SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM EVEN IF YOU GO DOWN THE LIST OF POSSIBLE REPLACEMENTS JUST NEEDING HELP WITH A SOLUTION.
