TAKATA RECALL DASH CRACKING OVER INSTRUMENT COMPARTMENT AND AIR BAG INSIDE DOOR HANDLES CITING FINGERS. KEEP TRUCK IN CARPORT WHEN PARKED OUTSIDE IS ALWAYS COVERED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS 2007 GMC SIERRA. THE AUTOMATIC WINDSHIELD WIPERS ENGAGE WITHOUT WARRANT AND SPRAYED WATER ONTO THE WINDSHIELD. AS A CONSEQUENCE HIS VISIBILITY WAS IMPAIRED. HE HAS TO RESTART THE ENGINE TO TURN OFF THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS. A TECHNICIAN FROM THE DEALER REPLACED THE WINDSHIELD WIPER SENSORS. THE TECHNICIAN ALSO ADDED THAT IN YEAR 1995 THERE WAS AN IDENTICAL FAILURE WITH THIS MODEL TYPE. THE CIRCUIT BREAKER HAD TO BE REPLACED TO REMEDY THE FAILURE. HE CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER, AND WAS REFERRED TO THE DEALER. HE WILL HAVE TO ASSUME FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE REPAIRS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 51,000.
LIFTER CHATTER AT START UP, THEN DISAPPEARING OCCURRING ONLY 2 TO 3 TIMES PRIOR TO ENGINE FAILURE. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA 1500. WHILE DRIVING 30-35 MPH, THE AIR BAGS ON THE CEILING OF THE VEHICLE DEPLOYED WITHOUT AN IMPACT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIR. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 26,146. UPDATED 11/24/08 *CN THE VEHICLE HAD AN EXHAUST LEAK, THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW WAS INOPERATIVE, THE WINDOW SWITCH AND CONNECTOR HAD MELTED, THE HEATER SEATS DIDNOT WORK, THE REAR TIRES WERE OUT OF BALANCE. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA 1500. WHILE DRIVING 80 MPH IN THE RAIN, THE CIRCUIT BREAKER BOX FELL OFF THE VEHICLE AND LANDED BEHIND THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE CONTACT HAD TO STOP THE VEHICLE WITH THE EMERGENCY BRAKE. HE FEELS THAT THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE COMPONENTS OF THE DASHBOARD SHOULD BE MORE SECURELY ATTACHED TO THE VEHICLE. HE ALSO FEELS THAT A SERIOUS CRASH COULD HAVE OCCURRED WITH THE CIRCUIT BOX TOP FALLING BEHIND THE BRAKE AND FIREWALL. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 1,700. 2007 GMC SIERRA CREW (NEW BODY STYLE) WHILE STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN I NEARLY HAD A VEHICLE REAR END ME. I HAD MY BRAKES DEPRESSED AND NOTICED MY BRAKE LIGHTS WERE NOT LIGHT UP. I THEN PRESSED A LITTLE HARDER ON THE PEDAL AND THEN MY LIGHTS CAME ON. THIS NEW BRAKE LIGHT WHERE IF YOU STEP AS HARD AS YOU WANT ON THE BRAKE AND THEN LET OFF A MICRO INCH AND IT GOES OFF. SO I GOT HOME AND DID SOME SEARCHING AND FOUND THAT THIS TYPE OF PROBLEM IS OCCURRING QUITE A LOT WITH THIS TRUCK MY THOUGHT ON THIS IS THAT ANY TIME THE T BRAKE PEDAL IS EVEN DEPRESSED JUST A LITTLE BIT THE LIGHTS SHOULD GO ON. I DID ALSO FIND IT STRANGE THAT THE BRAKE LIGHTS DO NOT WORK WITH THE IGNITION OFF. FIRST VEHICLE I CAN RECOLLECT EVER SET UP THAT WAY. *TR
I WAS PULLED OVER BY MY LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR DEFECTIVE BRAKE LAMPS 3 TIMES. I HAVE GONE TO MY LOCAL CHEVY DEALERSHIPS AND THEY REPLACE THE SWITCHES 4 TIMES. I THEN GOT PULLED OVER AGAIN SO I BROUGHT IT TO LEMAY BUICK AND GMC IN KENOSHA WI. THEY REPLACED THE BRAKE LAMP SWITCH 2 TIMES. WHEN YOU PUSH ON THE PEDDLE AND LET UP JUST A HAIR THE BRAKE LIGHT GO INOP. THIS IS A MAJOR CONCERN FOR ME BECAUSE I COULD GET REAR ENDED AT ANYTIME WITH NO BRAKE LIGHTS. I HOOKED UP A LIGHT ON MY DASH TO LET ME KNOW WHEN THEY ARE OR ARE NOT WORKING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS THE LIGHTS DO NOT WORK 95% OF THE TIME GOING 70MPH AND SLOWING DOWN TO 55MPH THE LIGHTS DON'T EVEN BLINK. I TRIED CALLING GMC AND THEY SAID THERE IS NOT A PROBLEM WITH THE LIGHTS ON THESE VEHICLES. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON TEN OCCASIONS. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE AIR BAGS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15,000.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA 1500. AFTER PURCHASING THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT BEGAN EXPERIENCING A DRASTIC VIBRATION. A DEFECT WAS DISCOVERED; HOWEVER, THERE IS NO REMEDY AVAILABLE. THE DEALER REPLACED THE POWERTRAIN, WHEEL, WHEEL ROTATION, AND DRIVER ASSEMBLY, BUT THE FAILURE STILL PERSISTS. GENERAL MOTORS HAS YET TO OFFER A RESPONSE AS TO HOW THEY CAN ASSIST. SEAT BELTS FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER FRAYING TOOK IT TO THE DEALER, THEY TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO PAY OVER $900 TO FIX THE PROBLEM. TRUCK WAS UNDER WARRANTY, STILL HAVE THE PROBLEM, THEY LOOK UGLY, SOME SPOTS ARE THIN. NOW TRUCK IS NOT UNDER WARRANTY. *TR
AIRBAG RECALL WITH NO PARTS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA 1500. WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH, THE BRAKES FAILED TWICE. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER APPROXIMATELY 15 TIMES SINCE IT WAS PURCHASED IN AUGUST OF 2007. THE DEALER TURNED THE ROTORS AND CHANGED THE BRAKES AND THE SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE FUEL GAUGE FAILED AND THE BED OF THE VEHICLE SEPARATED FROM THE FRAME. THE ENGINE LIFTERS FAILED TO FUNCTION PROPERLY AS WELL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 12,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 12,100.
THE BRAKE LIGHTS TURN OFF IF YOU PRESS THE BRAKE AND THEN SLIGHTLY DEPRESS THE PEDAL, ALTHOUGH THE BRAKES ARE STILL APPLIED THE BRAKE LIGHTS ARE NOT ON. I FIRST NOTICED IT WHILE BACKING OUT OF A DRIVEWAY AT NIGHT, AND I DID NOT THINK IT WAS A SAFETY CONCERN UNTIL I SAW MY WIFE STOP FROM 45 MPH AND THE BRAKE LIGHTS FLASHED AND THEN TURNED OFF UNTIL SHE CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP. I TOOK THE TRUCK TO THE DEALERSHIP THEY THOUGHT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE TRUCK, AND REPLACED THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH. THE PROBLEM DID NOT GO AWAY. THE SAME DEFECT IS ON EVERY TRUCK ON THE CAR LOT. THE DEALERSHIP WROTE ON MY INVOICE THAT THE OWNER PRESUMES THAT WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL IS PRESSED THE BRAKE LIGHTS SHOULD BE ON. DUH!! *TR
CLOTH SEATS ACCUMULATE POLLEN AND DUST CREATING A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS PROBLEM FOR PEOPLE WITH BREATHING CONDITIONS - THIS PROBLEM IS ACKNOWLEDGED BY GM VIA A TSB NUMBERED SUBJECT: EXCESSIVE LINT ACCUMULATION ON CLOTH SEATS (REPLACE SEAT COVERS) #07-08-50-018 - (08/28/2007) AND THEN AGAIN WITH DOCUMENT ID# 2023269. I KNOW THIS TYPICALLY DOES NOT QUALIFY AS A SAFETY CONCERN BUT THE SITUATION IS RELATIVELY EXTREME TO THE POINT WHERE AFTER A WHILE THAT USING A VACUUM CLEANER IS NO LONGER EFFECTIVE FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH BREATHING PROBLEMS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE INTERIOR DRIVER SIDE DOOR HANDLE BEGAN FRACTURING AND SHARDS OF THE DOOR HANDLE WOULD CAUSE LACERATIONS TO HIS HANDS. THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY A DEALER AND THEY ADVISED HIM THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN ANY RECALLS AND THAT HE WOULD NEED TO REPLACE THE DOOR HANDLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 8. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
THE TRUCK AFTER 40 MILES STARTED SCREECHING FROM THE FRONT WHEN GOING AROUND CORNERS,AND WAS REPORTED TO THE DEALER SAM SWOPE, I WAS INFORMED THAT IT WAS NORMAL, ON THE WAY TO TOWN THE TRUCK STALLED AND WAS TOWED FOR REPAIR TURNS OUT THE COIL PLUG SHORTED OUT WIRES WERE REPLACED, NEXT DAY THE TRUCK STALLED AGAIN TOWED AGAIN TURNS OUT THAT BOOTH CATALYTIC CONVERTERS WERE PLUGGED,BOOTH REPLACED. ENTERING THE FREEWAY WHEN ACCELERATED THE TRUCK DID NOT RESPOND, I WAS INFORMED BY THE DEALER THAT NOTHING WRONG WITH THE TRANNY, NOW I HAVE A CLUNKING NOISE FROM THE REAR OF THE TRUCK THEY CLAIM NOT TO BE ABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM, TIRES WORN OUT AT 27,000 MILES TURNS OUT ALIGNMENT PROBLEM BUT NO CAUSE FOR THE SQUEALING TIRES SENSE FIRST REPORTED THE FIRST DAY OF OWNER SHIP. SAME PROBLEM ALL THE TIME STEERING WHEEL NEVER BEEN ALIGNED ANTI-LOCK BRAKES NEVER WORK RIGHT ALWAYS LOCKING UP ON BREAKING FIRST THING IN THE MORNINGS AND THE DEALERSHIP NOT ABLE TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM. THIS TRUCK IS DANGEROUS TO DRIVE WITH TO ANY FAILURES. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA 1500. WHILE AT A STOP SIGN, THE VEHICLE WAS IN DRIVE AND THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS APPLIED. THROUGH A REFLECTION, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE BRAKE LIGHTS WERE NOT ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS APPLIED AND THEN SLIGHTLY RELEASED. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE, HOWEVER, THEY REPLACED THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH TWICE. THE FAILURE STILL PERSISTS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,500 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 3,500. THE CONSUMER STATED THAT THE SIERRAS ON THE LOT HAD THE SAME DEFECT. UPDATED 10/31/07 *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE INSTRUMENT PANEL GAUGES WERE NOT VISIBLE DURING THE DAYTIME. THE ONLY WAY ANY OF THE GAUGES CAN BARELY BE SEEN IS BY ACTIVATING THE HEADLIGHTS OR USING A FLASHLIGHT. WHEN HE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER, THEY GAVE HIM THE RUN AROUND. THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED BY A GMC CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE TO CALL THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 15,069 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,200.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA 1500. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE STEERING COLUMN FAILED WHILE TURNING LEFT OR RIGHT. THE CONTACT HAS TO MANUALLY RETURN THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE CENTER. THE DEALER STATED ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS THAT THE RACK AND PINION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. ON ANOTHER OCCASION, THE DEALER STATED THAT THE DRIVE BELT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND OTHER SERVICES NEEDED TO BE PERFORMED. ORIGINALLY, THE DEALER COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. A TECHNICIAN FROM DETROIT INSPECTED THE VEHICLE TO SEE IF HE COULD IDENTIFY THE FAILURE, BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER ON FIVE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS, BUT THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. IN MID-JANUARY OF 2008, THE DEALER REPLACED THE STEERING PUMP AND STATED THAT THEY WOULD NOT KEEP REPLACING THE PARTS UNTIL THEY LOCATE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,616 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 19,000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA 1500. WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH, THE SIDE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED WITHOUT WARNING. AS A RESULT, THE FRONT PASSENGER SUSTAINED A BRUISED COLLAR BONE. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA 1500. WHEN THE PAVEMENT WAS WET, THE VEHICLE WOULD BEGIN TO FISHTAIL AND AGGRESSIVELY TURN 180 DEGREES. THE DEALER STATED THAT NOTHING COULD BE DONE UNLESS THE PAVEMENT WAS WET. THEY GAVE HER THE OPTION TO TRADE IN THE VEHICLE FOR A DIFFERENT VEHICLE, BUT SHE DECLINED. THE DEALER THEN ADVISED HER TO LOOK IN HER OWNER'S MANUAL AND CALL NHTSA. SHE STATED THAT THE DEALER WOULD NOT EVEN KEEP THE VEHICLE TO INSPECT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 12 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 11,000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA 1500. WHILE TOWING A BOAT AT 35 MPH THE VEHICLE MADE A LOUD NOISE, AND WOULD NOT ACCELERATE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THERE WAS NO FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 600. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 4,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA 1500(NA). THE ORIGINAL SEAT COVERS WERE REPLACED BECAUSE THEY ABSORBED LINT VERY RAPIDLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, AND REPLACEMENT COVERS WERE INSTALLED. THE REPLACEMENT MATS EXHIBITED THE SAME FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED, BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 24,000.
I BOUGHT A GMC SIERRIA LAST AUGUST IN 2006 AND IT HAD 6,440 MILES ON IT. YESTERDAY, I GOT A FLAT TIRE. I GOT THAT TIRE REPLACED BECAUSE THE BELT WAS BROKEN IN IT WITH A PUNCHURE IN IT. THEN ABOUT 4 HRS LATER I GOT ANOTHER FLAT TIRE WITH THE BELT BROKE IN IT.*AK

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, VEHICLE FAILED TO RESPOND TO DECELERATION ATTEMPTS AND THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO THE PRECEDING VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE THEN ERRONEOUSLY ACCELERATED AND CRASHED INTO A STEEL POST THEN A TREE. UPON IMPACT, THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE CONTACT SUFFERED FACIAL LACERATIONS ALONG WITH NECK AND BACK INJURIES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,000.
ELECTRICAL - INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE INSTRUMENT PANEL IS IMPOSSIBLE TO READ AT MOST TIMES DURING DAYLIGHT. GMC DOES LIGHT UP THE ODOMETER/DIC AND GEAR INDICATOR BUT SPEEDOMETER, RPM, FUEL, OIL, OIL, WATER ALL ARE NOT READABLE AT MOST TIMES. *TR
EXCESSIVE "CREAKING" NOISE HEARD FROM WITHIN STEERING WHEEL DURING NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS. MOST NOTICEABLE DURING SUBTLE TURNS (APPROX 0.5-1.0 INCH) TO LEFT AND RIGHT WHILE STEERING WHEEL IS TURNED FROM A CENTERED POSITION. *JB
I CANNOT SEE THE INSTRUMENTS ON MY 2007 GM SIERRA ON A SUNNY DAY. NOT EVEN THE SPEEDOMETER. TURNING ON THE LIGHTS DOES LITTLE TO HELP. GM KNOWS ABOUT THE PROBLEM, BUT DOES NOT SEEM TO BE IN A HURRY TO FIX THE PROBLEM. GM DOCUMENT ID# 1879131 DATED 12/19/06. *AK
DRIVER'S SIDE REAR VIEW MIRROR DOESN'T HAVE AUTO DIM. N A TRIP AND NOTICED PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR DOESN'T AUTO DIM 04/18/07 AND FROM THEN ON HAD ISSUE WITH MIRROR NOT AUTO DIMMING. TOOK TO DEALERSHIP 06/29/07 THEY SAID DUE TO THE VEHICLE BUILD IT IS NOT EQUIPPED. SO AGAIN DRIVING AT NIGHT ON 07/04/07 HAD A PROBLEM WITH GLARE AND DISTRACTION FROM VEHICLE LIGHTS BEHIND ME, SHINING IN PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR. I HAVE A DISPUTE TO MAKE AND I BELIEVE IT IS SAFETY RELATED. I HAVE A 2007 GMC SIERRA CREW CAB WITH POWER FOLDING TURN SIGNAL INDICATOR REAR VIEW MIRRORS. ON THE DRIVERS SIDE THE GLASS AUTO DIMS, ON THE PASSENGER SIDE IT DOES NOT. HOWEVER IT IS TO MY BELIEF GM HAS BUILT THESE TRUCKS THIS WAY TO SAVE MONEY. I ON THE OTHER HAND FEEL THAT IF THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE ONE SIDE AUTO DIM WHY SHOULDN'T THEY HAVE BOTH SIDES AUTO DIM, DUE TO THE FACT DRIVERS STILL GET BLINDSIDED AND DISTRACTED WHEN THERE ARE BRIGHT LIGHTS SHINING ON THE PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR. I HAD A 2004 GMC SIERRA WITH BOTH DRIVERS SIDE AND PASSENGER SIDE MIRRORS THAT DID AUTO DIM. MANY OF THE 2007 GMC SIERRA TRUCKS ARE BUILT THIS WAY AND I FEEL THAT IT IS NOT SAFE TO THE DRIVER, NOT ONLY IS IT AN ANNOYANCE, NOT ONLY WITH A PERSON SUCH AS MYSELF HAS A SENSITIVITY TO BRIGHT LIGHTS AND GLARE AT NIGHT. I PROPOSE THAT GM BE CONTACTED ABOUT THIS ISSUE AND A RECALL BE PERFORMED ON THESE PASSENGER SIDE REARVIEW MIRROR GLASS. THANK YOU . *AK

WHY IS GM RECALL 14121 LIMITED TO NEW VEHICLES? IT HAS BEEN A RECURRENT, COMMON PROBLEM SINCE LONG BEFORE 2000. LONG BEFORE I BOUGHT MY 2007 GMC SIERRA CLASSIC 2500HD WHICH IS ON THE THIRD REPAIR. THERE HAS BEEN AN AIRBAG RECALL AND EVERY TIME I CALL THE GM DEALERSHIP THEY TELL ME THEY HAVE NO PARTS. ARE THEY HOPING I WILL WRECK OR SELL THE VEHICLE BEFORE THEY ARE REQUIRED TO PAY TO REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE AND LIFE-THREATENING AIRBAG?!!
I PURCHASED A BRAND NEW 2007 GMC SIERRA 1500 PICKUP FROM LONE STAR PONTIAC BUICK GMC IN MCKINNEY, TEXAS ON 11/18/06. ONLY AFTER BEING PULLED OVER FOR SPEEDING DID I REALIZE THE SPEEDOMETER WAS NOT CALIBRATED CORRECTLY AFTER THE DEALERSHIP HAD INSTALLED AN AFTER-MARKET LIFT KIT AND LARGE TIRES AND WHEELS ON THIS TRUCK. I DISCOVERED BY CALLING ANOTHER GM DEALER THAT BECAUSE THE SPEEDOMETER IS NOT CALIBRATED CORRECTLY IT CAUSES THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM TO NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY. THE DEALERSHIP WILLFULLY AND WITHOUT REGARD TO THE SAFETY OF ITS CUSTOMERS SOLD VEHICLES LIKE MINE THAT HAD BRAKE SYSTEMS THAT DID NOT WORK PROPERLY. THE GENERAL MANAGER CONFIRMED THAT THEY HAVE SOLD MANY TRUCKS LIKE THIS SO IT IS REASONABLE TO ASSUME THERE ARE MANY TRUCKS ON THE ROAD NOW WHICH MAY HAVE FAULTY ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEMS. I AM CONCERNED FOR EVERYONE ELSE THAT PURCHASED ONE OF THESE TRUCKS AND AREN'T AWARE THEIR BRAKES DON'T WORK RIGHT. THE GENERAL MANAGER TOLD ME THAT THE SPEEDOMETERS CAN NOT BE CALIBRATED CORRECTLY. *JB
THERE IS A LOUD CLUNKING FROM THE FRONT END WHEN DRIVING AT ANY SPEED,THE CLUNCKING CAN BE FELT IN THE STEERING WHEEL AS WELL AS THE FLOORBOARD, IT FEELS AS IF THE STEERING WHEEL IS COMING DISCONECTED FROM THE RACKON PINION. THIS PROBLEM WAS ADDRESSED AT A LOCAL DEALERSHIP IN HUDSON FL.ON 12/16/06 AND IN LESS THAN 15,000 MILES IN HAS RETURNED. IN SPEEKING WITH G.M CUST SERV 12/18/07 THEY FOUND DOC'S STATING THIS IS A NOTED PROBLEM. I STILL HAVE NO RESOLUTION. JKS *TR
