WHILE STOPPING AT SLOW SPEEDS ON DRY ROADS MY ABS BRAKES KICK IN CAUSING MY VEHICLE TO TAKE LONGER TO STOP THAN NORMAL. THE BRAKE PEDAL ALSO DROPS TOWARD THE FLOOR CAUSING ME TO THINK I HAVE LOST MY BRAKES COMPLETELY. THIS HAS JUST STARTED,AND HAS HAPPENED TO ME NUMEROUS TIMES. I NEVER NOW WHEN THIS WILL HAPPEN TO ME CAUSING ME TO BE ON EDGE EVERY TIME I HAVE TO STOP. I READ ABOUT THIS PROBLEM WITH GM TRUCKS AND WENT AND SPOKE WITH MY LOCAL DEALER'S SERVICE MANAGER. HE TOLD ME THAT THIS HAS BEEN AN ONGOING PROBLEM FOR YEARS. HE SAID THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ON CERTAIN MODEL YEARS,BUT MY YEAR TRUCK WAS NOT ON THE RECALL LIST. I ASKED HIM HOW IT WAS POSSIBLE THAT GM WOULD LET THE SAME PROBLEM GO ON NEWER YEAR MODELS WHILE FIXING OTHERS? HE SAID HE DID NOT KNOW. I ASKED HIM HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST ME TO HAVE THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT FIX MY TRUCK. HE SAID IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT PARTS WERE NEEDED TO MAKE THE REPAIRS,AND COULD COST ME ANYWHERE FROM $150.00 TO $2,000.00. I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW GM CAN GET AWAY WITH CHARGING SOME CUSTOMERS TO FIX THE SAME PROBLEM THAT HAS BEEN TAKEN CARE OF UNDER RECALLS IN THE PAST. THE SERVICE MANAGER TOLD ME I COULD PULL THE FUSE ON MY ABS SYSTEM AND THE PROBLEM WOULD STOP,OF COURSE DOING THIS WOULD MEAN I WOULD NOT HAVE ABS BRAKES ANY LONGER, OR I COULD WAIT AND SEE IF MY MODEL YEAR MAKES THE RECALL LIST IN THE FUTURE. WHEN I PAY GOOD MONEY FOR A SAFETY ITEM ON MY TRUCK,I EXPECT IT TO LAST LONGER THAN 42,000 MILES,AND I DON'T THINK I SHOULD HAVE TO PLAY RUSSIAN ROULETTE AND DRIVE A TRUCK WITH UNSAFE BRAKES HOPING IT WILL BE PUT ON THE RECALL LIST IN THE FUTURE. THIS PROBLEM NOT ONLY MAKES MY TRUCK UNSAFE FOR ME AND MY FAMILY,IT ALSO MAKES IT UNSAFE FOR EVERYONE NEAR IT AS I DRIVE DOWN THE STREETS,AND HIGHWAYS. PLEASE DON'T LET GM GET AWAY WITH LETTING THIS SAFETY PROBLEM GO UNFIXED JUST BECAUSE MY MODEL YEAR TRUCK IS NOT ON THE RECALL LIST. *TR
5.3 VORTEC WITH AFM IS NOW BURNING OIL AT THE RATE OF 1 QT EVERY 800-1200 MILES. THE MORE HIGHWAY DRIVING THE MORE OIL IT BURNS. GM IS VERY AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND JUST REFUSES TO MAKE THE PROPER REPAIRS VOLUNTEERLY, BUT IS MORE THAN HAPPY TO PUT THE CUSTOMER THROUGH ALL KINDS OF BS. WILL START THE OIL CONSUMPTION TEST, TOMORROW. IF THAT FAILS THE DEALER TOLD ME THEY WILL TRY THE OIL SHIELD FIX AND IF THAT FAILS, THEY WILL REPLACE PISTONS AND RINGS. SEEMS LIKE A HUGE WASTE OF TIME WHEN THEY KNOW THERE IS A MAJOR PROBLEM. *TT
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA. THE CONTACT STATED THE INTERIOR FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR FAILED TO RELEASE IN THE OPEN POSITION FORCING THE CONTACT TO EXIT FROM THE FRONT PASSENGER DOOR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE DOOR LATCH AND CABLE WERE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 24,000. TPMS SENSOR VALVE STEM BROKE WHILE ADDING AIR TO THE TIRE WHILE BEING SERVICED BY OIL CHANGER IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA. THE TIRE HAD TO BE REPAIRED AT A COST OF APPROXIMATELY $150. VIN IS [XXX]. I OWN A 2007 GMC SIERRA 1500 CREW CAB. I HAVE SOME ISSUES WHEN I START MY TRUCK IN THE MORNINGS, I GET A TAPPING NOISE AS IF THERE ARE LIFTERS STUCK OR NOT GETTING SUFFICIENT OIL. I HAVE ALWAYS USED THE RECOMMENDED AC OIL FILTERS THAT I PURCHASE FROM THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP PARTS CENTER SO I KNOW THAT THE FILTER IS NOT THE PROBLEM. I AM A MECHANIC SO I KNOW WHAT AN ENGINE IS SUPPOSED TO SOUND LIKE. THE NOISE WILL CONTINUE UNTIL THE ENGINE WARMS UP WHICH IS APPROXIMATELY 10-15 MINUTES AND IS VERY ANNOYING. I AM CURRENTLY DEPLOYED TO KANDAHAR, AFGHANISTAN IN SUPPORT OF OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM AND SCHEDULE TO RETURN TO THE US IN LATE MARCH 2012. I SPOKE TO MY WIFE TODAY AND SHE SAID THAT EVERY TIME SHE START THE VEHICLE FOR THE FIRST TIME THE NOISE IS THERE. I WOULD APPRECIATE IF YOU COULD ANSWER MY QUESTION CONCERNING THIS ISSUE. MY 2007 GMC SIERRA HAS FAULTY ABS SENSORS WHICH ACTIVATE AT LOW SPEED STOPS AND GREATLY EXTENDS THE STOPPING DISTANCE OF THE VEHICLE. SEARCHING THE INTERNET USENET LIST IT SEEMS THAT A GOOD PORTION OF GM FULLSIZE PICKUPS AND SUVS HAVE FAULTY ABS BRAKE SENSORS WHICH ACTIVATE DURING LOW SPEED BRAKING. 1999 - 2007 VEHICLES SEEM TO BE THE MOST AFFECTED AND INCLUDE SIERRA, YUKON, SUBURBAN, AND SILVERADO TRUCKS. GM HAS KNOWN ABOUT THE ISSUE FOR MANY YEARS AND HAS ISSUED A SERVICE BULLETIN ON THE ISSUE BUT FAILED TO ISSUE RECALL, THIS LEAVES THE OWNER STUCK WITH THE PROBLEM TO DEAL WITH ON THEIR OWN. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA CLASSIC. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKE LINES WERE SEVERELY CORRODED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 31,000.
TAKATA RECALL. THIS RECALL WAS INITIATED YEARS AGO, AND I'M STILL DRIVING AROUND PUTTING MY WIFE AT RISK. INEXCUSABLE! I HAVE A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL RECALL - JUST CAN'T FIND IT.

I SENT COMPLAINT TO DEALER THE FIRST MONTH ABOUT.TRUCK HAS 55,000 MILEAGE VERABLE AND BROUGHT COMPLAINTS TO DEALER.THIS COMPLAINT HAPPENS THUS THE TIME I OWNED TRUCK. DASH HAS CRACKED ON PASSENGER SIDE WHERE THE AIR BAG WILL DEPLOY. CONCERNED THAT IT MAY AFFECT THE DEPLOYMENT OR SEND SHARDS ON DEPLOYMENT THAT COULD INJURE SOMEONE. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE! IT WAS BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION BY A FRIEND WITH THE SAME MODEL CHEVY AND IS A COMMON ISSUE. GM NEEDS TO REPLACE AS IT'S AN OBVIOUS DEFECT WITH THEIR TRUCKS.
#SB-10-06-01-008 (PROBLEM) I AM CONCERNED WITH OUR SAFETY DUE TO THE MECHANICAL MOTOR PROBLEM WITH THE CYLINDERS. GM WARRANTY # [XXX] I HAVE HAD OIL CONSUMPTION TEST DONE AND THEY ORDERED PARTS AND TOLD ME TO BRING IT IN. WHEN BRINGING IT IN TO "PHILIPS BUICK GMC" FRUITLAND PARK FLORIDA, I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD BE ABLE TO GET A COMPARABLE VEHICHLE IN EXCHANGE WHILE MINE IS WORKED ON. I GET THEIR AND THEY TRY TO GIVE ME A COMPACT SUV. I AM 6'2", 200LBS. AND DRIVE A 2007 4 DOOR SIERRA 1500 THAT I USE FOR MY COMMERCIAL BUSINESS EVERY DAY FOR WORK. THEY WERE AWARE OF THIS. I SHUT MY BUSINESS DOWN TO HALF OF WHAT IT WAS IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO AFFORD LOOSING MY TRUCK FOR A COUPLE DAYS TO WARANTY REPAIRS. I WAS TOLD I WOULD GET A FULL SIZED TRUCK OR SUV. I STILL HAVE TO HAUL PRODUCT FOR MY BUSINESS JUST TO KEEP IT 50% RUNNING FOR THOSE COUPLE DAYS. I ALSO HAVE 4, 200+LBS GUYS TO HAUL AROUND FOR WORK AS WELL, AND A SPECIAL NEEDS DAUGHTER WHO NEEDS THE ADITIONAL SPACE OF A FULL SIZED VEHICHLE. I PAID OVER $40,000 FOR MY TRUCK. ITS NOT MY FAULT THAT I HAVE A WARRANTY ISSUE AND IT HAS TO BE WORKED ON. SO MY BUSINESS, FAMILY, AND SELF SHOULDNT BE THE ONE WHO IS INCONVIENANCED FOR A GM WARRANTY ISSUE. GM NEEDS TO DO WHAT IT TAKES TO MAKE THIS RIGHT. I SPOKE TO GM AND THEY TOLD ME TO GO RENT ONE MYSELF AND PAY MYSELF. THEY SAID THEY WOULD ONLY GIVE ME $35 DOLLARS A DAY FOR REIMBURSEMENT. I CONTINUE TO BE ANNOYED BY A CONDITION I EXPERIENCE WITH THE GMC VEHICLE I PURCHASED NEW THREE YEARS AGO. THE PROBLEM IS ONE THAT THE DEALER DOES NOT HAVE A REMEDY FOR. THE SPECIFIC PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN THE VEHICLE IS PARKED OVERNIGHT OR WHEN IT IS PARKED IN THE SHADOWS, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL IS NOT LIGHTED WHEN ONE DRIVES AWAY SOMETIMES FOR PERIODS OF UP TO THIRTY TO FORTY-FIVE MINUTES. THIS BECOMES PARTICULARLY IRRITATING IN THE CASE OF THE RADIO WHICH CANNOT BE READ FROM THE DRIVER'S POSITION. ONLY AFTER THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN THE BRIGHT SUN FOR SOMETIMES AS LITTLE AS TEN AND OFTEN AS MUCH AS FORTY-FIVE MINUTES WILL THE DASH LIGHTS KICK IN TO WHERE THEY ARE EASILY READABLE. I FIND THIS CONDITION A POTENTIAL HAZARD IN THAT PEOPLE MAY BE STRETCHING TO READ THEIR RADIO OR MAY NOT BE ABLE TO ADEQUATELY VIEW THEIR INSTRUMENTAL PANEL OTHERWISE. THE PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE A DESIGN ERROR. WHAT APPEARS TO BE AN ELECTRIC EYE OR SIMILAR DEVICE IS IN THE SHADOW OF THE WINDSHIELD WIPER ASSEMBLY OR THE PILLAR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. WHAT HAPPENS THEN IS WHEN THE ELECTRIC EYE IS IN FULL SUN, IT EVENTUALLY SEEMS TO FIND WHERE IT IS AT AND THE LIGHTING IN THE DASH IS INCREASED. IT SEEMS THAT BECAUSE THIS IS A DANGEROUS CONDITION MUCH IN THE WAY OF CELL PHONES, GM OUGHT TO BE MADE TO RECALL AND/OR OFFER A REMEDY TO THE CONSUMER. FUEL GAUGE SHOWING THAT I HAD FUEL ,BUT THE TRUCK RAN OUT OF GAS TWICE GOING DOWN THE ROAD 55MPH. I DID GET THE TRUCK PULLED OVER TO A GRAVEL ROAD AND THEN CALLED SOMEONE TO BRING MORE GAS. *TR
LATCH/LOCK ON CENTER CONSOLE/JUMP SEAT FAILURE. THE PLASTIC LATCH FOR THE LID ON THE CENTER CONSOLE, WHICH IS ALSO A JUMP SEAT WHEN UPRIGHT, HAS FAILED. THE RESULT IS THE LID CAN BECOME OPEN IF THE SEAT IS TILTED UP TO USE AS A JUMP SEAT, OR IF DOWNWARD PRESSURE IS APPLIED TO THE REAR OF THE LID, OR IF YOU HIT A BUMP OR IF YOU ARE IN A CRASH. THE CONTENTS OF THE COMPARTMENT CAN BE RELEASED AND POSE AN IMMINENT DANGER TO THE OCCUPANTS OF THE VEHICLE IN THE RESULT OF A CRASH OR OTHERWISE BECOME A DISTRACTION TO THE DRIVER. THE PLASTIC LATCH IS NOT AVAILABLE AS A REPLACEMENT PART FROM GMC. THE ENTIRE CONSOLE MUST BE PURCHASED FOR $450 TO REPLACE LATCH AND IT HAS THE SAME DEFECTIVE LATCH. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA 1500 CLASSIC. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES, THE BRAKE PEDAL WOULD DROP A FEW INCHES AND THE VEHICLE WOULD ABNORMALLY LUNGE FORWARD. THERE WAS NO WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO REPAIRED THE FRONT WHEEL SENSORS AND CLEANED THE MOUNTING SURFACE AT THE CONTACTS EXPENSE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CALLED WHO INFORMED THE CONTACT THERE WERE NO RECALLS OR WARRANTIES ON TEH VEHICLE AND OFFERED NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 37,202.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA 1500. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE JERKED VIOLENTLY WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER, WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED AND THE TRANSMISSION HAD TO BE REPLACED A SECOND TIME. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25,499.
I HAVE A 2007 GMC SIERRA THAT I FILED A COMPLAINT ABOUT BEFORE BECAUSE THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED WHEN I HIT A SMALL POTHOLE. AFTER GMC FIXED VEHICLE THEY ASSURED ME IT WAS SAFE TO DRIVE BECAUSE THEY FIXED THE OVERLY SENSITIVE SENSOR. I WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE HOME IN SEPTEMBER OF 2010 AND THE SIDE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED AGAIN. I STILL HAVE VEHICLE WHILE GMC DECIDES WHAT THEY SHOULD DO TO FIX THE PROBLEM . REALLY? I HOPE THEY REALIZE WHY THEY NEEDED A BAILOUT. *TR
2007 GMC SIERRA CLASSIC. CONSUMER STATES BRAKES FAILURE *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED HE HAD TO USE THE EMERGENCY BRAKE TO SLOWLY COME TO A STOP. THE CONSUMER OPENED THE HOOD AND DISCOVERED THERE WAS NO BRAKE FLUID IN THE RESERVOIR. HE ADDED FLUID TO SEE WHERE IT WAS GOING. HE NOTICED THAT THE BRAKE LINE ON TOP OF THE CHASSIS WAS RUSTED THROUGH COMPLETELY AND THAT WAS WHERE THE FLUID WAS LEAKING. *JB
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA 1500. WHILE DRIVING LESS THAN 5 MPH, THE CONTACT SLIGHTLY ENGAGED THE BRAKE PEDAL AND THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM BEGAN TO ACTIVATE WITH AN UNUSUAL VIBRATION. THE FAILURE OCCURRED TEN TIMES WHEN DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS ON BOTH UNEVEN ROAD SURFACES AND NORMAL ROAD CONDITIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. I HAVE A 2007 GMC TRUCK WITH 20,000 MILES ON IT . ALWAYS GARAGED . THE FRAME IS RUSTED ON EVERY EDGE OF THE METAL . HOLES - MOUNTS -ETC. I TRADED A 1991 IN ON THIS TRUCK , THAT LOOKED LIKE NEW , COMPARED TO THIS TRUCK. THE FRAME ON THIS TRUCK , LOOKS TO BE SEVERAL YEARS OLD . EVEN THE BRAKE LINES ARE RUSTED . I THOUGHT I WAS GETTING A LIKE NEW TRUCK . I WAS MISTAKEN ! *TR

THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 10V240000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) PERTAINING TO THE SYSTEM. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THAT THE MODULE WOULD NEED TO BE REMOVED TO PREVENT A POSSIBLE FIRE FROM OCCURRING IN THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED HE DID NOT WANT THE MODULE REMOVED FROM HIS VEHICLE BECAUSE IT WAS ONE OF THE DETERMINING FACTORS IN PURCHASING THE VEHICLE DUE TO THE CLIMATE IN HIS AREA. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED HIM THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO FOR TO ASSIST HIM. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 54,000.
BRIDGESTONE TIRE COMPLETELY BLEW OF THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL OF MY TRUCK THESE TIRES MAYBE UNSAFE BRIDGESTONE DUELER H/L ALENZA THIS TIRE TOTALY BLEW APART GOING 65 MPH WITH LESS THAN 4000 MILES ON THEMBRIDGESTONE DENIED THE CLAIM. *TR

THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THE WARRANTY DID NOT COVER ANY REPAIRS RELATED TO THE POWER TRAIN. THE CONTACT IS CONCERNED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL FOR HIS YEAR, MAKE AND MODEL VEHICLE. THE TRANSMISSION LINES HAVE BEEN REPLACED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 83,000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC SIERRA EQUIPPED WITH GOODYEAR WRANGLER TIRES, SIZE POOH/70/RAE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL MECHANIC TO HAVE THE TIRES ROTATED WHEN THE MECHANIC SUGGESTED THE CONTACT TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP BECAUSE ALL FOUR TIRES WERE WEARING MORE THAN THEY SHOULD FOR THE LOW MILEAGE ON THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NEEDED TO BE ALIGNED, THE TIRES WERE WEARING FROM THE INSIDE AND THE OUTSIDE WAS FINE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 21,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 21,394.

ENGINE SHUTS DOWN, "SERVICE BRAKE SYSTEM" MESSAGE APPEARS IN DISPLAY, ABS LIGHT ILLUMINATES. SINCE ENGINE SHUTS DOWN, LOSE STEERING AND BRAKING. LATEST INCIDENT OCCURED ON HIGHWAY DURING RUSH HOUR. THIS ALSO HAPPENED FIRST YEAR I OWNED THE VEHICLE (I BOUGHT IT NEW), THEY REPLACED THE UNDERHOOD FUSE BOX. THIS HAPPENED AGAIN ON MARCH 13. THEY REPLACED A BLOWN PCM FUSE AND SAID THEY COULD FIND NOTHING WRONG. WHEN IT OCCURED ON 3/29, I REPLACED THE FUSE 5 TIMES TO TRY AND GET OFF THE FREEWAY. AFTER EACH TIME IT WAS REPLACED, I COULD DRIVE 1-2 MILES BEFORE IT WOULD BLOW AGAIN.

The contact owns a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated that there was a crack on the passenger’s side dashboard close to the air bag housing. The contact stated that there was also a crack on the driver's side above the instrument panel and in the middle of the dashboard. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who informed her that the manufacturer would not be responsible for the dashboard repairs in 2019. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the cracks have progressed over the years. The contact stated that she received NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V050000 (Air Bags) and the vehicle was taken to Reliable Buick GMC (400 Automall Dr, Roseville, CA 95661) for the recall repair and she was informed that she had to sign a waiver for the dashboard damages in order to replace the air bag. The contact stated that she was informed that there was a possibility of the dashboard cracking during the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was unknown.

MODELS INCLUDED IN TSB ARE CHEVROLET AND GMC TRUCKS FROM 2005 TO 2007 DOCUMENT # 2046749. CALLED DEALER AND TALKED TO SERVICE MANAGER. I BOUGHT A NEW HEAVY DUTY 2006 1/2 TON PICKUP TRUCK. IT PRESENTLY HAS FIFTY THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED MILES ON IT. I JUST WENT TO HAVE THE TIRES ROTATED AND WAS TOLD THE IDLER ARM ON THE STEERING ROD WAS WORN OUT. WHEN I ASKED FURTHER QUESTIONS THE TIRE GUY SAID THIS WAS REAL COMMON IN GM PRODUCTS. I WENT TO MY LOCAL DEALER AND WAS TOLD IT IS OK FOR NOW BUT WILL HAVE TO BE REPLACED IN THE NEXT YEAR OR SO. THE MANUFACTURER SENT THE CONTACT A LETTER STATING THAT THE VEHICLE WAS DESIGNED TO USE 1 QUART OF OIL EVERY 2000 MILES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 70000.

THE FRAME ON THE TRUCK FROM THE FRONT TO THE REAR AS WELL AS MANY OF THE COMPONENTS UNDERNEATH THE TRUCK HAVE BECOME EXTREMELY RUSTED. I HAVE SPOKEN WITH MANY DEALERS AND THEY SAY THIS PROBLEM IS CAUSED BY THE ROAD SALT AND SNOW/ICE THAT COMES WITH THE NORTHEAST WINTER. THIS IS A CONSTANT AND ONGOING ISSUE WITH THE VEHICLE. WHEN DRIVING THE VEHICLE ON THE HIGHWAY OR ROAD AT SPEEDS ABOVE 15 OR 20 MPH THE FRONT SUSPENSION WILL SHAKE VIOLENTLY WHEN HITTING BRIDGE EXPANSIONS, ANY SORT OF ROAD BUMP, MAN HOLE COVERS WITH MINIMAL EDGES, ETC. THE VIOLENT SHAKING IN THE SUSPENSION WILL THEN STOP AND NOT BE FELT DURING NORMAL SMOOTH HIGHWAY OR ROAD TRAVEL BUT RECURS EACH AND EVERY TIME ROAD BUMPS ARE ENCOUNTERED. THE SHAKING IS VIOLENT AND FEELS AS THOUGH THE WHOLE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE IS ABOUT TO FALL OFF. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR MORE THAN A YEAR NOW. THIS VEHICLE HAS GIVING ME MANY PROBLEMS, BUT THE DEALER NEVER SEEMS TO FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. I HAD SOME ITEMS INSTALLED BY THEM. ONE WAS A DVD PLAYER, IT COST 2,300. AND THEY SAID THAT IT WAS MY FAULT SO THEY DID NOT FIX IT. AND THAT WAS 3 MOTHS AFTER THE INSTALLATION OF THE DVD BY THEM. AND THE BATTERY DIE ON THE TRUCK 4 MONTHS AFTER IT WAS PURCHASED. THAT WAS THE ONLY THING THEY CHANGE. I HOPE THAT I CAN BE HELPED, I FEEL VERY INSECURE IN THIS VEHICLE. I'M HAPPY THAT I DID NOT GET INTO A MAJOR ACCIDENT BECAUSE OF ALL THESE PROBLEMS.
