LOW OIL PRESSURE WHILE IN MOTION. SPLIT O-RING ON OIL PUMP PICK UP TUBE, METAL DEBRIS IN SCREEN FOR OIL PRESSURE SENSOR/ AFM VALVE LIFTER MANIFOLD. NO VALVE SHIELD ON AFM VALVE IN OIL PAN. HIGH OIL CONSUMPTION.
TAKATA RECALL. MY DASH IS CRACKED NEXT TO THE AIR BAG. IF THIS AIR BAG GOES OFF BEFORE IT IS RECALLED PLASTIC PARTS FROM DASH MIGHT HARM THE DRIVER AND OR PASSENGER. I THINK GM NEEDS TO RECALL THE CRACKED DASH COMPLAINTS THAT PEOPLE ARE POSTING ON LINE. I HAD THIS DASH REPLACED ONCE BEFORE UNDER WARRANTY.
DASHBOARD CRASHESD NEAR FRONT PASSANGER AIRBAG THAT MAY POTENTIALLY ALLOW MOISTURE INTRUTION INTO THE PASSANGER AIRBAG INFLATOR SYSTEM
DASH FAILURE AROUND DEFECTIVE TAKATA AIRBAG AND OVER DASH CLUSTER. BRITTLE PLASTIC WILL SPLINTER AND STRIKE BOTH PASSENGER AND DRIVER IF AIRBAG DEPLOYS. TAKATA RECALL HAS NO REMEDY ACCORDING TO DEALER AND MANUFACTURING.
RADIO PLAYS SOME DAYS AND THAN SOMETIMES IT PLAYS NORMAL, BACKUP SAFTEY BEEPS YOU CANNOT HEAR IT, BUZZARD FOR KEYS LEFT IN THE IGNITION, YOU CANNOT HEAR IT. THE WAS STATIONARY

CLASSIC ORR GMC LOCATED AT 4333 MALL DR, TEXARKANA, TX 75501 AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED AND IT WAS IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
MY DASHBOARD HAS SEVERAL CRACKS EXPOSING THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS WITHIN THE DASH. THESE CRACKS ARE IN VARIOUS PLACES ACROSS THE ENTIRE DASH. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE BRAND NEW AND IT IS CURRENTLY IN EXCELLENT CONDITION (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE DASH) I AM CONCERNED THAT IF THE AIR BAG WERE TO BE DEPLOYED THE PLASTIC DASHBOARD WOULD EXPLODE AND EXPOSE MY PASSENGERS OR MYSELF TO ADDITIONAL HAZARDS WITHIN THE VEHICLE. I AM ALSO CONCERNED THAT THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM IN MY DASH BOARD IS NOW EXPOSED TO ADDITIONAL HAZARDS DUE TO THE ADDITIONAL EXPOSURE TO THE SUN. I AM FILING THIS INCIDENT WITH THE HOPES THAT IT WILL HELP A RECALL TO BE ISSUED. I NOTICED THE FIRST SMALL CRACK IN 2011. I HAVE KEPT AN EYE ON IT OVER THE YEARS AND AS OF TODAY, THERE ARE EXPOSED OPENINGS IN THE DASH IN SEVERAL PLACES. UNTIL TODAY, I THOUGHT THAT I MIGHT HAVE JUST BEEN UNLUCKY, HOWEVER AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH ONLINE, IT IS APPARENT THAT I AM NOT ALONE, AND THIS SHOULD BE RECALLED UNDER A MANUFACTURERS DEFECT. MY DASH HAS CRACKED IN 2 PLACES!! ONE BEING BY THE AIRBAG. I'M AFRAID IF THE AIRBAG DEPLOYS DEBRI WILL BE THROWN AT THE PASSENGER!
FRONT AIR BAG IMPACT SENSORS CORRODED AND DID NOT DEPLOY AIR BAG IN ACCIDENT
BROKEN EXHAUST MANIFOLD BOLTS. AS OF TODAY I HAVE A TOTAL OF (3) BOLT HEADS THAT ARE BROKEN. (2) ON DRIVERS SIDE AND (1) ON PASSENGER SIDE. THE EXHAUST FUMES ARE BEGINNING TO LEAK INSIDE OF THE CAB ESPECIALLY WHEN STOPPED AT INTERSECTIONS.

MY DASH CRACKED 5 YEARS AGO, I REPLACED WITH NEW FROM DEALER $1000.00 COST AND IT IS NOW CRACKED AGAIN. IN ADDITION I HAVE AN OUTSTANDING RECALL ON AIRBAGS THAT HAVE BEEN RECALLED BUT GM DOES NOT HAVE PARTS TO REPLACE. SO NOW I COULD HAVE SHRAPNEL FROM AIRBAG AND SHRAPNEL FROM MY NEW $1000.00 DASH. WOW GM, GET IT TOGETHER AND GET THE AIRBAGS IN STOCK AND STOP USING INFERIOR MATERIALS ON $1000.00 DASH BOARDS.

I HAVE HAD A "IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL" PENDING ON MY TRUCK SINCE JULY 2016. GMC IS NOT REPAIRING THE CONDITION AND TELLS ME I'M ON THE LIST FOR A FIX. GMC APPEARS TO BE DELAYING AN IMPORTANT FIX. MY LOCAL MECHANIC SAYS THAT THE PARTS ARE AVAILABLE.

THE UPPER DASH PANEL CRACKED AFTER BEING PARKED OUTSIDE. I THOUGHT SOMEONE BROKE IN AND HIT IT WITH SOMETHING, IT IS CRACKED DOWN CENTER OF INSTRUMENT PANEL TOWARD WINDSHIELD THEN ACROSS TO AIR BAG COMPARTMENT. MY FEAR IS THAT IF THE AIR BAG THAT IS PENDING RECALL INFORMATION PASSENGER AIR BAG DEPLOYS AND PASSENGERS COULD BE HIT BY PLASTIC SHRAPNEL. ANOTHER CONCERN IS A CHILD GETS HAND OR ARM INJURED BY SIMPLY PRESSING TOO HARD ON FLIMSY DASHBOARD. I AM A 100% SERVICE CONNECTED COMBAT VETERAN AND NEED TO SELL TRUCK TO PURCHASE A VAN FOR TRANSPORTATION. THE CRACKED DASH IS HINDERING THE SALE AT A DECENT PRICE. THE DEALER SAID REPAIR IS AROUND $1200 AND I DON'T HAVE THAT KIND OF MONEY LAYING AROUND ANYWAY IF I AM UNABLE TO SELL IT.

TAKATA RECALL: IN JULY 2016 I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM GMC REF. GM RECALL 49152 WHICH STATED THAT I WOULD BE NOTIFIED WHEN PARTS ARE AVAILABLE TO REMEDY YOUR VEHICLE. I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING AND IN THE MEANTIME THE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON. IN THE SUMMER OF THIS YEAR I CALLED THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP AND THEY SET UP AN APPOINTMENT TO REPLACE THE AIRBAG BECAUSE OF THE RECALL. I HAD TO CANCEL THAT APPOINTMENT BECAUSE I COULD NOT MAKE IT TO THE APPOINTMENT. I LATER CALLED THE DEALERSHIP TO SETUP ANOTHER APPOINTMENT AND THIS TIME WAS TOLD THAT GMC WAS NOT GOING TO FIX/REPLACE THE AIRBAG. I ALREADY SPENT OVER $1200 TO REPLACE THE FRONT BRAKE COMPONENTS BECAUSE OF EXTENSIVE RUST WHICH DAMAGED THE FRONT BRAKE SYSTEM TO THE EXTENT THE WHEELS WOULD NO LONGER ROTATE WITHOUT GREAT EFFORT. THIS TRUCK WAS ORIGINALLY OWNED BY SOMEONE IN PA, THEN ON THE EASTERN SHORE OF MARYLAND THRU MAY 2016. THERE IS A LOT OF RUST ON THE UNDERCARRIAGE OF THIS VEHICLE - FROM I ASSUME, SALT AND WATER.

TAKATA - GM RECALL 49152 - I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE DATED JULY 2016 AND THEY STILL DO NOT HAVE THE PARTS TO REPLACE THE FRONT AIRBAG INFLATORS. I HAVE CALLED THREE TIMES TO CHECK THE STATUS AND THEY STILL DO NOT HAVE THEM.
TAKATA RECALL - BOUGHT 2008 TRUCK NEW AND I LIVE IN OKLAHOMA. IT IS VERY HOT HERE IN THE SUMMERS. HIGHER RISK IN HOT CLIMATES AND MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN EXPOSED APPROXIMATELY 9 YEARS. I HAVE CALLED THE DEALER THREE TIMES OVER THE LAST 15 MONTHS AND THEY REFER ME TO GM CUST SVC. TODAY CUST SVC TELLS ME THE SAME CRAP - THEY HAVE NOT FIGURED OUT WHAT TO DO. IT'S SIMPLE - REPLACE THE INFLATORS NOW - ENOUGH SCREWING AROUND. SAFETY RECALL RECEIVED DATED JULY 2016. STILL NO PARTS AT DEALER. GM IS DRAGGING THEIR FEET AS LONG AS THEY CAN. IT IS TIME TO DO SOMETHING!
TAKATA RECALL. I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM JEFFREY M. BOYER, VP, GMC GLOBAL VEHICLE SAFETY, DATED JULY 2016 REGARDNG RECALL 49151. TO DATE, MY LOCAL GMC DEALER ADVISES THAT THEY HAVE NO PARTS FROM GMC TO REMEDY MY VEHICLE.
I HAVE CONTACTED MY DEALER AND THEY CONTINUE TO STATE THEY DO NOT HAVE THE REPLACEMENT PARTS. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE THE FIRST OFFICIAL NOTICE CAME OUT.
HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR ALMOST 1 AND HALF YEARS FOR A FIX FOR THE AIR BAGS. CHECK WITH DEALER REGULARLY, STILL NO FIX. STILL DRIVING THE TRUCK BUT STILL WORRY EVERY TIME I DO. IF I SELL IT BE WORTH LESS AND SOMEONE ELSE WOULD HAVE SAME PROBLEM
