I HIT BRAKE GOING AROUND THE CURVE AND FLIIPED OVER OVER FIVE TIMES AND NOT YET THE AIRBAG DIDNT DEPLOY. FORCED CAUSE OF THE SEAT BEALT TO STRECCH AND LOCK IN PLACE. POLICE AND TOW TRUCK WAS SURPRISE THE AIRBAG SHOULD HAVE DEPLYED. NOW THE TRUCK IS TOTAL WHICH MEAN CANT BE FIX DESTROYED AND NOT REPAIRABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS IN POUND.

TAKATA RECALL TRAVELING AT SPEED OF 50 MPH ON A COUNTY HIGHWAY ANOTHER VEHICLE PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF YUKON. FRONT OF YUKON IMPACTED THE REAR OF OTHER VEHICLE CAUSING EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO THE FRONT OF YUKON. AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. YUKON WAS TOTALLED.

THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED BACK INJURIES THAT DID NOT REQUIRE MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 225,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.

ON 01/03/2012 I WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONTAL DRIVERS SIDE COLLISION,WHICH INVOLVED MY SUV AND ANOTHER CAR TRAVELING AROUND 45-50 MPH. THE IMPACT SMASHED IN THE DRIVER DOOR AND HOOD ALONG WITH OTHER DAMAGES. NEITHER FRONT AIR BAGS DELAYED WHICH RESULTED IN ME HITTING MY FACE ON THE STEERING WHEEL AND HAVING EXTENSIVE DENTAL DAMAGE. I AM NOT SURE WHAT CONTRIBUTIONS ARE NEEDED TO DEPLOY AIRBAGS BUT I DO BELIEVE MINE SHOULD HAVE DEPLOYED. *TR
I OWN A 2002 CHEVY TAHOE, AND I'M IN CHARGE OF SERVICING THREE, 2002 AND 2003 GMC YUKONS FOR MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT. THE MIDDLE ROW SEATS IN ALL OF THESE HAVE SEATBELT ISSUES. THESE ARE EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE TO FIX OR REPLACE AND ALL FOUR VEHICLES THAT I DEAL WITH HAVE AT LEAST ONE OF THE SHOULDER BELTS IN THAT MIDDLE ROW SEAT THAT EITHER WONT COME OUT OR WON'T RETRACT. *TR

THE DRIVER SUSTAINED MODERATE BODILY INJURIES. IT HAS NOT YET BEEN DETERMINED WHY THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE CONTACT HAS PICTURES OF THE FAILED INCIDENT AND A COPY OF THE POLICE REPORT. HE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE MANUFACTURER. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 107,000.

DT: WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE MAIN ROAD AT 45 MPH, THE CONSUMER TOOK HIS EYES OFF THE ROAD AND WENT INTO THE GRAVEL AND THEN INTO A DITCH AND HIT A MAILBOX . THE CONSUMER WENT THROUGH THE PASSENGER SIDE WINDSHIELD. THE RIGHT WHEEL FELL OFF AND THE FRONT BUMPER SMASHED INTO THE ENGINE AND THE FRAME WAS BENT. UPON IMPACT, THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE VEHICLE WAS EQUIPPED WITH FRONT AND SIDE AIR BAGS. THE AIR BAG LIGHT WAS NOT ON AND NEVER HAD BEEN ON. THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS WITH VEHICLE BEFORE THIS INCIDENT. THERE WERE NO OTHER VEHICLES INVOLVED. THE VEHICLE HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT THERE WERE NO RECALLS ON THE AIR BAGS. THE MANUFACTURER HAS NOT BEEN CONTACTED, BUT WILL BE CONTACTED TODAY.THERE WAS A POLICE REPORT WAS TAKEN. *AK

VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A HEAD-ON COLLISION WITH ANOTHER SUV ("T-BONE"). SPEED WAS APPROXIMATELY 35-45 MPH HIT BRAKES, BUT OTHER VEHICLE PULLED IMMEDIATELY OUT IN FRONT OF VEHICLE IN QUESTION. SMASHED FRONT END OF VEHICLE EQUALLY ON BOTH SIDES (SQUARE IMPACT) AND CAUSED CONTENTS FROM VEHICLE TO COME FROM FAR BACK TO THE FRONT SEATS. WENT FROM 45-0 MPH IN A FEW FEET (ALMOST FLIPPED OTHER SUV), YET AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. FORCE CAUSED SEATBELT TO COMPLETELY STRETCH OUT AND LOCK IN PLACE PERMANENTLY. (WOULD NOT RETRACT AFTERWARDS) ALL WITNESSES INCLUDING POLICE, TOW TRUCK, AND INSURANCE COMPANY SAY AIRBAGS SHOULD HAVE DEPLOYED. THE CAR IS SCHEDULED FOR REPAIRS AND WE ARE TERRIFIED TO GET IT BACK IN REPAIRED CONDITION. WE DO NOT WISH TO ENDANGER THE LIVES OF OUR FAMILY AND GM IS NOT REPLYING. DT

Front passenger seatbelt has always locked up after being put on, which does not allow the passenger the ability to move more than a couple of inches at best.
