REAR TAIL LIGHT WORKS INTERMITTENTLY CAUSING A RISK OF BEING REAR ENDED. THROUGH RESEARCH THIS APPEARS TO BE AN ISSUE WITH MANY VEHICLES OF THIS MAKE AND MODEL. GMC ALSO CHARGES AN OUTRAGEOUS PRICE FOR THE REPLACEMENT AT $1000 FROM THE DEALER.
LED TAILLIGHT ON 2016 YUKON DENALI IS NOT WORKING. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE AND GM WILL NOT COVER A KNOWN ISSUE.
I DRIVE 2016 GMC YUKON, AND THE ENTIRE TAIL LIGHT ON THE PASSENGER REAR SIDE HAS GONE OUT ON IT. I READ ABOUT SEVERAL PEOPLE WITH THE SAME YEAR AND MODEL TRUCK HAVING THIS ISSUE. I FEEL LIKE GMC SHOULD DO A RECALL BECAUSE MY VEHICLE ISN'T THREE YEARS OLD YET.
THE LED BRAKE LIGHT DOES NOT WORK. THE LIGHT IS AN ENTIRE ASSEMBLY THAT OWNERS MUST REPLACE BY BUYING A NEW UNIT FOR $700. THE UNIT IS SUPPOSED TO LAST FOR THE LIFE OF THE CAR. IT'S A DEFECTIVE PIECE THAT IS DIFFICULT AND EXPENSIVE TO REPLACE.
BRAKES FAIL AT LOW SPEEDS AND WHEN REVERSING SLOWLY. CAN REPLICATE PROBLEM. SEARCHED INTERNET AND THIS APPEARS TO BE A WIDESPREAD PROBLEM. SERVICE BULLETINS HAVE EVEN BEEN WRITTEN. WHY NO RECALL FOR A WIDESPREAD ISSUE THAT COULD HAVE CATASTROPHIC CONSEQUENCES. . VEHICLE HAS LESS THAN 50000 MILES.
DRIVERS SIDE TAIL LIGHT/BRAKE STARTED FAILING, ONLY WORKING INTERMITTENTLY WHILE DRIVING AND WHILE STOPPED. NOW ONLY A SMALL OUTER CORNER OF THE THE LIGHT IS WORKING.
THIRD TIME THIS HAPPENED, FIRST TWO TIMES MY HUSBAND WAS DRIVING(HE CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THEY HAD NOT HEARD OF ANY PROBLEMS) AND WHEN IT HAPPENED TO ME IT WAS SCARY. I HAD MY KIDS IN THE CAR, NO INJURIES AND NO ONE WAS HURT, THANK GOD. I WAS GOING THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU STOPPED AT THE FIRST WINDOW, ACCELERATED TO NEXT WINDOW (LOW SPEED) AND DIDN'T STOP... IT WAS THE LIKE THE BRAKES LOCKED UP, COULDN'T PRESS DOWN AT ALL. CALLED THE DEALERSHIP FIRST THING IN THE MORNING, SAME THING DIDN'T KNOW OF ANY ISSUES. WELL I GOOGLED IT AND IT IS UNDER INVESTIGATION, SO I KINDLY PRINTED OFF ALL THE ARTICLES SO THEY COULD LET OTHER CUSTOMERS KNOW THERE WAS AN ISSUE (THEY DIDN'T CARE TO KEEP THAT BUT DID ADMIT THEY KNEW THERE HAD BEEN SOME ISSUES). OF COURSE MY CAR IS JUST OUT OF WARRANTY SO THEY SAID I WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ISSUES. AGAIN, THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL!!! THEY SHOULD BE PAYING FOR IT AND THANKING THERE LUCKY STARS NO ONE WAS INJURED. THE TOTAL CAME TO $950, THEY ASKED IF I WANTED THEM TO FIX THE PUMP, BELT AND BELT KIT (I ASKED IF THIS WAS THE ISSUE OTHERS WERE HAVING AND HE SAID HE BELIEVES SO). WHAT WAS I GOING TO SAY NO? DID I REALLY HAVE AN OPTION?? THE BRAKES WEREN'T WORKING!!!! KIND OF A BIG DEAL!! OF COURSE I WOULD LIKE THEM TO PAY ME BACK (THEY DID GIVE ME A CREDIT OF $208) BUT I DO BELIEVE THEY NEED TO DO A RECALL BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 GMC YUKON. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKE LIGHTS AND TAIL LIGHTS STOPPED WORKING WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ALEXANDER BUICK GMC OF SIMI VALLEY (2100 FIRST ST, SIMI VALLEY, CA, (805) 582-6100) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE LED CONSOLE PANEL AND BULBS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
WHEN PRESSING THE BRAKE PETAL AT LOW SPEEDS AND IN BUMPER TO BUMPER TRAFFIC THE BRAKE PEDAL BECOMES VERY HARD TO PRESS AND VERY DIFFICULT TO GET THE VEHICLE TO STOP. THIS PROBLEM ALSO IS NOTICED WHEN BACKING THE VEHICLE IN REVERSE AND INTO A PARKING SPOT.
LEFT REAR TAILLIGHT IS OUT. CAR HAS <40K MILES AND REQUIRED A $675 PART TO FIX
THE REAR TAIL LIGHT IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. AROUND DECEMBER 17, 2018 I WAS DRIVING MY VEHICLE ON THE CITY STREET AND HIGHWAY WHEN SEVERAL PEOPLE ADVISE ME MY LIGHT WAS OUT AND NOT WORKING. I CHECK IT ONCE ARRIVED AT HOME AND IT WAS WORKING PROPERLY AND DIDN'T PROBLEM. AND A WEEK LATER SAME ISSUE FROM PEOPLE PULLING ME OVER TO ADVISE ME MY TAIL LIGHT WAS OUT. AROUND JANUARY 10, 2019, I WENT IN TO HUTCHINSON AUTO MALL GMC DEALER AND THEY ADVISE ME EVERYTHING IS WORKING PROPERLY AND DOESN'T SEE A PROBLEM, AND ADVISE ME TO BRING BACK SHOULD I EXPERIENCE THE OUTAGE AGAIN. I INSPECT VEHICLE AS WELL AND SEEM NO PROBLEM. 23 JANUARY 19 SAME PROBLEM AND WENT BACK TO DEALER AND THEY DISCOVER THE OUTAGE AND ADVISE ME THE LED TAIL LIGHT STRIP WAS OUT AND NEED TO REPLACE THE ASSEMBLY. IT APPEARS THEIR SEEM TO BE A WIRING ISSUE WHERE THE LIGHT IS AND OUT. TO KEEP FROM A SERIOUS PROBLEM OR FIRE. REQUEST IMMEDIATELY INVESTIGATION. THE TECHNICIAN ALSO ADVISE ME THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM.
PURCHASED VEHICLE USED @ 32K MILES. VEHICLE ALMOST UN-RIDEABLE DUE TO ROUGH RIDE & TERRIBLE VIBRATION. TOOK TO GMC DEALER, THEY REPLACED ONE FRONT SHOCK (COMPLETELY LEAKED OUT) AND ONE BAD RIM. TRUCK STILL RIDES EXTREMELY ROUGH & HAS A VIBRATION BETWEEN 35-55 MPH. ALMOST UNBEARABLE ON LONGER RIDES. TIRES ARE BRAND NEW. DEALER SAYS THAT IT IS WITHIN SPEC. THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL ON A $75K MSRP "LUXURY" SUV!
READ LED BRAKE LIGHTS ARE INTERMITTENTLY NOT WORKING. BECAUSE THEY ARE A SEALED UNIT, CANNOT CHANGE THE BULB, NEED TO REPLACE ENTIRE ASSEMBLY. DEALER IS QUOTING $831 PER ASSEMBLY TO REPLACE, FOR A TOTAL OF $1662. GM IS REFUSING TO ADDRESS THIS SAFETY CONCERN BECAUSE THE CAR IS JUST OVER 4K MILES OVER WARRANTY MILEAGE. I HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED BY OTHER DRIVERS ON THE ROAD THAT MY BRAKE LIGHTS ARE NOT WORKING. THIS IS AN EXPENSIVE REPAIR JUST TO "REPLACE THE BULBS". 10/1/2018 I WAS DRIVING MY VEHICLE ON THE 99 FREEWAY SOUTH BOUND IN LATHROP, CA AND OUT OF NOWHERE MY VEHICLE BEGAN TO OVERHEAT, THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE WAS TO THE VERY TOP, I WAS NOT ABLE TO DRIVE TO DRIVE TO A NEARBY GAS STATION, DUE TO THE VEHICLE LOST SPEED AND IT WOULD NOT LET ME ACCELERATE DURING THAT TIME THE ENGINE IDLE LIGHT CAME ON, SO I WAS FORCED TO PULL OVER ON A VERY NARROW SOFT SHOULDER, THEN IMMEDIATELY THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND ALSO THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT. THERE WAS A LIGHT SMOKE A LOT OF NOISES COMING FROM THE ENGINE. EVERYTHING HAPPENS SO FAST IT WAS VERY FRIGHTENING DUE TO THE HEAVY ONCOMING TRAFFIC PASSING ME BY. I HAD TO HAVE MY CAR TOED TO STOCKTON FOR REPAIR.
1. LOSS OF BRAKING FUNCTION AND COULD NOT STOP VEHICLE, LOSS OF CONTROL OF VEHICLE ON HIGHWAY AND STREET AT SPEEDS OF 70 MPH. BRAKE VACUUM PUMP WAS CONFIRMED DEFECTIVE AT DEALERSHIP 10/17/18. 2. AFTER REPAIR BY DEALERSHIPS BRAKES DID NOT FUNCTION CORRECT AGAIN, CONFIRMED AND STATED ON DEALERSHIP INVOICE 6/28/19 SAME PART NUMBER WAS DEFECTIVE AGAIN, DEALERSHIP THAT CONDUCTED REPAIR ON 10/17/19 REPAIRED DEFECTIVE BRAKE WITH THE SAME DEFECTIVE PART. THERE WAS ANOTHER BRAKE ISSUE WITH THE BRAKING SYSTEM IN FEBRUARY AS WELL. 3 BRAKE ISSUES UNDER 1 YEAR AND REPEAT DEFECTIVE PART USED IN DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIR. MULTIPLE DATES BELOW BUT 10/17/19 SPECIFIES DATE CONFIRMED AT GM DEALERSHIP ED RINKE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2016 GMC YUKON. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 TO 65 MPH, A TRACTOR TRAILER REAR ENDED THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. THE IMPACT CAUSED THE CONTACT TO REAR END THE PRECEDING VEHICLE AND PUSHED BOTH VEHICLES INTO THE RIGHT LANE. THE TWO VEHICLES CAME TO A STOP WHEN THEY ENTERED A DITCH. THE CONTACT'S HEAD STRUCK THE STEERING WHEEL. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS NOT RECEIVED. THE AIR BAG FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO O'CONNOR AUTO PARK (199 RIVERSIDE DRIVE, AUGUSTA, MAINE 04330, (866) 483-3057), BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED (REPORT NUMBER: 18S091850). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 44,000.
RADAR DOES NOT RECOGNIZE SMALLER CAR ON THE RIGHT LANE LEFT SIDE DOES NOT SEE A CAR WHEN CHANGING LANE WITH THE TURN SIGNAL ON. INTERSTATE. OFF RAMP SUNNY DAY HIGH SUN 09/05/2018
LED BULBS IN BRAKE LIGHTS WORK INTERMITTENTLY AND EVENTUALLY GO OUT.
REAR TAIL LIGHT SEEMS TO WORK INTERMITTENT. WHEN THE TEMPERATURE GOES UP IT DOES NOT WORK, COOL DOWN IT WORKS. MY YUKON IS ONLY 2 YEARS OLD, I THOUGHT LED LAST LONGER, THAT IS A BIG JOKE. TO REPLACE IT AT THE DEALERS WOULD BE $803.00 FOR A TAIL LIGHT. THAT IS HIGHWAY ROBBERY. THE DEALERSHIP NEEDS TO LOOK INTO THIS TO SEE WHY THERE ARE SO MANY PROBLEMS FROM OTHER INDIVIDUALS. I WILL THINK TWICE BEFORE I PURCHASE ANOTHER GMC VEHICLE.
BOTH OF THE TAILLIGHTS WORK INTERMITTENTLY. I HAVE TAKEN IT IN TO THE GMC DEALER ONLY TO BE TOLD IT WILL BE 2000.00 TO REPLACE THEM BOTH. THIS IS A FACTORY PROBLEM. SOMETIMES ONE WORKS, SOMETIMES THEY BOTH WORK AND SOMETIMES NEITHER WORK, IN MOTION, STATIONARY, ALL STREETS AND AT ANY TIME.
GMC YUKON 2016 REAR LIGHTS ARE DEFECTIVE. THIS IS THE 2ND TIME THEY HAVE GONE OUT AND IT IS NOT A QUICK FIX TO REPLACE. COST IS APPROXIMATELY $750 TO REPLACE A LIGHT THAT WILL GO OUT AGAIN DUE TO POOR MANUFACTURING AND QUALITY. THE FIRST TIME IT WENT OUT WAS ONLY A YEAR AFTER PURCHASE. THIS IS THE 2ND TIME IT HAS GONE OUT AND IS NOT D=COVERE UNDER WARRANTY. THESE LIGHTS ARE NOT MADE TO LAST A DECENT AMOUNT OF TIME. THERE ARE NUMEROUS ISSUES REPORTED REGARDING THESE REAR LIGHTS.
MY AC STARTED BLOWING HOT AIR. THE AIR COMPRESSOR WAS CHANGED TWICE. AFTER CHANGING IT THE LAST TIME I STARTED GETTING THE SERVICE POWER STEERING LIGHT ON AND Y STEERING WHEEL LOCKS UP. NO POWER STEERING. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND SEEMS TO BE COME TYPE OF WIRING PROBLEM.
THE REAR TAIL LIGHTS ON MY 2016 YUKON SLT BOTH WENT OUT.
TAILLIGHT QUIT WORKING
LED TAIL LIGHT/BRAKE LIGHT FAILURE. THESE TAIL LIGHTS ON THE 2015 TO PRESENT GMC AND CHEVROLET SUVS HAVE PREMATURE FAILURE. THE COST TO THE PUBLIC FOR THESE LIGHTS ARE AROUND 700$ EACH TO REPLACE. GM NEEDS TO RECALL THE TAILLIGHTS OR HAVE THEM WARRANTED FOR THE LIFE OF THE VEHICLE. THIS CREATES A SAFETY HAZARD FOR DRIVERS AND NOT TO MENTION A POSSIBLE TRAFFIC TICKET COUPLED WITH THE COST ASSOCIATED WITH THE REPLACEMENT; GM NEEDS TO RECALL THESE FOR THE SHEAR FACT THAT THEY COST AS MUCH AS A HOUSE PAYMENT JUST TO REPLACE ONE LIGHT.
FAULTY WIRING ON TAIL LIGHTS. LIGHT WENT OUT VERY QUICKLY. NON-FUNCTIONING NOW.
BOTH THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER BRAKE LIGHTS ARE NOT FUNCTIONING AT ALL. BECAUSE IT IS AN LED LAMP, THE ENTIRE TAIL LAMPS ASSEMBLY REQUIRES REPLACEMENT AT A SIGNIFICANT COST.
GPS/SATELLITE ANTENNA FAULTY DUE TO WATER INTRUSION
BOTH BREAK LIGHTS WENT OUT.
REAR LED BRAKE LIGHTS ARE NOT WORKING - THEY WORK THEN THEY DON'T WORK IT'S NOT CONSISTENT - SOMETIMES GOING OUT FOR DAYS. THE VEHICLE IS ONLY 2 YRS OLD AND I'M NOT SURE WHAT IS CAUSING THE MALFUNCTION AND DON'T WANT TO PAY 700 TO REPLACE EACH LIGHT. IT IS REALLY UNSAFE TO BE DRIVING.
WATER LEAK DUE TO BAD FRONT WINDSHIELD SEAL, WATER LEAK THROUGH GPS ANTENNA, FOUR WHEEL DRIVE MODULE WAS BAD, DVD PLAYER STOPPED WORKING, AND LASTLY A HORRIBLE VIBRATION THAT OCCURRED AROUND 77-83 MPH. TO THE POINT THE VEHICLE DID NOT FEEL SAFE TO HANDLE. TRIM ON THE B POST KEPT COMING LOOSE. THIS ALL OCCURRED IN OVER A YEARS PERIOD OF TIME. THIS WAS MY SECOND VEHICLE BECAUSE I TRADED IN MY 2015 TAHOE BECAUSE IT WAS HAVING MANY OF THE SAME ISSUES AND MORE. GM DID REPAIR ALL ISSUES OTHER THAN THE SHAKING, THEY WANTED ME TO BUY TIRES AND AFTER READING OTHER COMPLAINTS ON THE SHAKING I REFUSED, THE TIRES ONLY HAD 25,800ISH MILES ON THEM
PASSENGER SIDE BRAKE LIGHT STARTED GOING OUT THEN WILL GO BACK ON AND GO BACK OUT AND THEN IT JUST WENT OUT COMPLETELY THE CAR IS LESS THAN 2 YEARS OLD. BOUGHT IT BRAND-NEW I HAVE BEEN THE ONLY OWNER. THERE IS NO REASON WHY A TAIL LIGHT SHOULD BE GOING OUT BEFORE THE CAR IS EVEN 2 YEARS OLD.

WIFE DRIVING CHILDREN HOME AT NIGHT. USED DASH LIGHT DIMMER WHEEL TO ADJUST DASH BRIGHTNESS. CAUSED ALL LIGHTS, INCLUDING HEADLIGHTS TO TURN OFF
REAR TAIL LIGHTS HAVE MANUFACTURER DEFECT AND ENTIRE PANEL NEEDS TO BE FIXED AS AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE DUE TO LIGHTING FAILURE. SAFETY ISSUE OF BRAKE LIGHTS NOT WORKING AND MANUFACTURER NEEDS TO REPAIR ENTIRE TAIL LIGHT.
PASSENGER TAIL LIGHT/BREAKLIGHT WORKS INTERMITTANTLY OR NOT AT ALL.
2016 GMC YUKON. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO UNINTENDED ACCELERATION. *LD THE CONSUMER STATED WHEN THE STARTED IT WOULD LURCH FORWARD THEN REVERSE, 3 INCHES BOTH WAYS. WHEN IDLE THE ENGINE WOULD REV BETWEEN 400-600. UPON ACCELERATING, THE ENGINE WOULD VIBRATE AND HESITATE. IT WAS DISCOVERED UNFILTERED AIR WAS BEING RELEASED INTO THE ENGINE. THE FILTER WAS REPAIRED. THE ENGINE LONGER REVVED, BUT CONTINUED TO VIBRATE. ON A SEPARATE OCCASION, THE VEHICLE BEGAN ROLLING AWAY AFTER BEING PARKED. THE CONSUMER ATTEMPTED REENTER THE VEHICLE THUS BEING THROWN TO THE GROUND. THE CONSUMER STATED THE GEAR SHIFT FREELY MOVES WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO ACCELERATE BACKWARD WHILE ON A HILL. THE VEHICLE ROCKS WHEN IN PARK AND OFF AND OIL IN THE WINDSHIELD CENTER CONSOLE LEAKED *JS
LEFT TAILLIGHT WENT OUT AND I WAS UNDER THE WARRANTY AND THE DEALER REPLACED IT BUT HAD THE RIGHT TAILLIGHT GO OUT AT 40,000 MILES. I HAVE REFERRED 4 FRIENDS THAT PURCHASED THE SAME VEHICLE AS US AND HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUES. THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH GMC AND THEY NEED TO RECALL THIS.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49,000.
ENGINE STUMBLES AND SHAKES FEELS HARD AND VERY ROUGH EXTREMELY. STARTS AT ABOUT 5-10 MPH AND SHAKES EVEN WHEN IN PARK. AND THERE IS AN OIL CONSUMPTION WE TAKE IT TO A GM DEALER AND THEY SAY THERE'S SOMETHING GOING ON IN THE ENGINE BUT THEY WILL NOT FIX IT TILL IT BREAKS DOWN COMPLETELY. BEING THE MOTHER OF 2 LITTLE KIDS AND ALSO BEING PREGNANT I CAN'T HAVE THAT HAPPEN AND NEED HELP ASAP
I WAS TRAVELING TO PHOENIX, AZ OF ALL PLACES AND MY AIR WENT OUT IN 110 DEGREE HEAT. I'VE SEEN THE OTHER COMPLAINTS SO I JUST WANTED TO SUBMIT MINE. THIS WAS AUGUST 26, 2017.
CLIMATE CONTROL HAS NOT BEEN RIGHT WITH MY VEHICLE SINCE THE EARLY DAYS OF OWNING IT. THE AC AND HEATER DO NOT WORK RIGHT, RESULTING IN DEFROST ISSUES AT TIMES, CREATING A VISION ISSUE. YOU CAN NEVER REGULATE THE CABIN. NOW THERE IS NO AC AT ALL. WAS TOLD IT HELD CHARGE, BUT BLOWING OUT HOT AIR. *TR
WHILE EXITING THE OHIO TURNPIKE, MY BRAKE PEDAL BEGAN TO STOP DEPRESSING COMPLETELY- TO THE POINT WHERE I COULDN'T PUSH DOWN AT ALL. IT FELT LIKE AN OVER-PUMPED KEG. AS I CONTINUED MY EXIT TOWARD THE TOLL BOOTH, IT SEEMED THAT THE ABS WERE ENGAGING, BUT I WASN'T IN AN EMERGENCY BRAKING SITUATION. THE REST OF MY JOURNEY HOME WAS UNEVENTFUL, UNTIL I ARRIVED HOME. I PULLED INTO MY GARAGE, AND ATTEMPTED TO BACK OUT SO I CHECK UNDER THE VEHICLE TO MAKE SURE THERE WASN'T ANYTHING LEAKING. AS I BACKED OUT, MY BRAKES WOULD NOT ENGAGE PROPERLY AGAIN AND MY CAR ROLLED BACK DOWN MY DRIVE WAY. THE CAR STOPPED AND I PARKED IT WHERE IT WAS. LATER IN THE DAY, I WAS ABLE TO PULL THE CAR INTO MY GARAGE WITHOUT INCIDENT. I TOOK THE CAR TO CHESROWN GMC (THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE). THEY ADVISED THEY HAD NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A SITUATION AND HAD ME BEING VEHICLE TO THEM. I COULDN'T REPLICATE THE ISSUE WITH THEM, BUT LEFT THE CAR WITH THEM SO THEY COULD CHECK IT OUT FOR ISSUES. THEY REPLACED THE THE BRAKE VACUUM PUMP. TODAY (7/31/17), THE BRAKES STARTED TO BEHAVE IN THE SAME MANNER AS WHEN THEY FAILED ON 7/16/17.
PRESSURE, SOUND AND SENSATION AT LOW TO MID RANGE SPEEDS. CREATES A IN CABIN VIBRATION LIKE A SINGLE WINDOW IS DOWN CAUSING A HELICOPTER LIKE SOUND. SEEMS TO BE MOSTLY WHEN IT DROPS INTO THE 4 CYLINDER MODE AND YOU ARE ACCELERATING. THIS IS A MAJOR ISSUE AS NOTED FOR MANY PEOPLE AS NOTED ON MULTIPLE INTERNET SEARCHES. PLEASE DO SOMETHING!
the radio control panel seems to quit working every 2 years. This will be the 3rd radio control panel that I have to replace in this car since 2017. GMC says it isn't their problem since they use other products than GM. I feel that GM motors should stand behind the products that they place in their cars. The same product breaks the same way every time, This is not a me problem but a GM problem.
SAID VEHICLE MAINTAINS A DEFECT THAT SUBSTANTIALLY IMPAIRS ITS USE AND SAFETY AND DOES NOT CONFORM TO APPLICABLE WARRANTY PROVISIONS. THE VEHICLE'S INFOTAINMENT/INTELLILINK SYSTEM BECAME COMPLETELY DYSFUNCTIONAL ON JANUARY 14, 2017, AND SAID CONDITION WAS REPORTED TO GMC'S INFOTAINMENT CUSTOMER SUPPORT VIA TELEPHONE ON THIS DATE (SERVICE REQUEST NUMBER: 8-2666432517). AS GMC'S INFOTAINMENT CUSTOMER SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE WAS NOT ABLE TO ASSIST WITH THE ISSUE, A SERVICE APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED FOR JANUARY 17, 2017 AT AN AUTHORIZED GMC SERVICE CENTER FOR REPAIR OF THE INTELLILINK SYSTEM ON JANUARY 17, 2017. THE INTELLILINK SYSTEM WAS NOT REPAIRED OR RENDERED FUNCTIONAL BY GMC AND/OR ITS AUTHORIZED DEALER/SERVICE CENTER ON JANUARY 17, 2017. GMC PERSONNEL HAVE STATED THAT THE NECESSARY PART TO REPAIR THE DISABLED INTELLILINK SYSTEM IS ON BACK ORDER AND COULD TAKE UP TO TEN WEEKS TO BE DELIVERED TO THE DEALERSHIP. THE DISABLED INTELLILINK SYSTEM AND THE NON-USABILITY OF ITS INTEGRATED SAFETY FEATURES RENDER THE VEHICLE UNSAFE FOR USE.
VEHICLE SHAKES AND VIBRATES HORRIBLY AT HWY SPEEDS I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALERSHIP WITH NO FIX SAME PROBLEM
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 GMC YUKON. THE CONTACT STATED THE SEAT HEATER ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT SEAT WAS NOT HEATING UP PROPERLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO RHODEN GMC HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO H&H CHEVROLET (4645 S 84TH ST SUITE A, OMAHA, NE 68127; (402) 339-2222) FOR AN ISSUE WITH THE INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THERE WAS A ELECTRICAL SHORT IN THE WIRING AND THAT THE ANTENNA NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SINCE THE REPAIR, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL FAILED TO ILLUMINATE NORMALLY FOR SHORT PERIODS OF TIME. ADDITIONALLY, THE BLIND SPOT INDICATOR ACTIVATED INDEPENDENTLY. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THERE WERE ISSUES WITH THE KEYFOB WHILE ATTEMPTING TO LOCK THE VEHICLE. THE RADIO SCREEN WAS ALSO OVERHEATED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT WHILE USING THE HEATED STEERING WHEEL, THE CRUISE CONTROL FAILED TO FUNCTION AS DESIGNED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE SAME DEALER AND WAS BEING REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
