When I put key in to start car it does not start I let it sit and will do it two to three times before it will turn over. Car stereo had to take fuse out it would not shut of I was told it was electrical and may be my starter also my abs light is constantly on and only the abs works when it wants .also have had battery replaced but problem still persists only has 104,000 miles on her problems started a few years back asked honda about the problem and they said no recalls on these problems
WHEN CRUISE CONTROL IS PRESSED THE MAIN CRUISE LIGHT COMES ON LIKE IT'S SUPPOSED TO BUT THEN WHWN YOU PRESS THE AET BUTTON NOTHING TAKES PLACE.THE LIGHT BLINKS ON FOR 1 SECOND BUT THAT IS THE END OF THAT.I LOOKED UNDER THE HOOD AND NOTICED THE CRUISE CONTROL WIRE CABLE IS HANGING IN MID AIR ABOUT 3INCHES AWAY FROM THROTTLE BODY.IT STILL HAS THE SMALL BARREL ON THE END OF THE CABLE FOR ATTACHING TO SOMETHING.
ACTUATOR ON DRIVERS DOOR DOES NOT WORK.ALSO KEY WILL NOT OPEN DOOR EITHER.KEY WORKS ON TRUNK AND STARTS CAR BUT WILL NOT OPEN DRIVERS SIDE DOOR.IF DRIVER SIDE DOOR IS UNLOCKED KEY FOB WILL UNLOCK AND LOCK THE OTHER THREE DOORS.IF THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR IS LOCKED THE KEY FOB WILL NOT OPEN OR LOCK THE OTHER THREE DOORS
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY, THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THAT THE GEAR SHIFTER BUTTON HAD FRACTURED AND SEPARATED FROM THE GEAR SHIFTER KNOB. UPON INSPECTION, THE CONTACT NOTICED BROKEN PLASTIC FRAGMENTS COMING OUT OF THE KNOB WHERE THE BUTTON HAD DETACHED. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT AFTER THE FAILURE THE VEHICLE WOULD ONLY OPERATE IN THE NEUTRAL AND DRIVE POSITIONS, AND THE KEY COULD NOT BE REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S HOME. THE DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 09857723. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.

PURCHASED CAR IN 2007 - DIED WHILE DRIVING 2 WKS LATER: NEW BATTERY SUPPOSEDLY. HAD BATTER/ELECTRIC PROBLEMS REPAIRED THRU STARTER, NEW BATTERIES AND ALTERNATORS EVERY OTHER YEAR. TODAY: 6/5/18 - CAR HAS ELECTRICAL PROBLEM & SO TODAY I ENTER VIN # INTO NHTSA WEBSITE WITH RESULTS: " A BROKEN OUTER RACE MAY CAUSE ABNORMAL NOISE, THE MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHT TO TURN ON, AND ALLOW CONTACT BETWEEN THE TRANSMISSION IDLE GEAR AND AN ELECTRONIC SENSOR HOUSING WITHIN THE TRANSMISSION" CALLED HONDA HDQTRS AND CAN'T DO ANYTHING

I TOOK MY 2005 HONDA ACCORD TO HONDA WORLD IN WESTMINSTER, CALIFORNIA AND WAS TOLD THERE'S NO RECALL FOR MY AIRBAGS EVEN THOUGH I HAVE RECEIVED NOTICES IN THE MAIL AND THE AIRBAG LIGHT TURNS OFF AND ON. THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION ON CITY STREETS OR HIGHWAY, WHETHER GO STRAIGHT OR TURNING, THE AIRBAG LIGHT TURNS OFF AND ON. THIS DEALER HAS REFUSED TO CHECK THE AIRBAGS UNLESS I PAY AND SAYS THERE'S NO RECALL FOR THE AIRBAGS THOUGH I'VE RECEIVED NOTICES.

INITIALLY ONLY THE DRIVERS DOOR AND RIGHT REAR PASSENGER DOOR WOULD LOCK OR UNLOCK, WHETHER INSIDE THE CAR, USING THE KEY, OR USING THE KEY FOB. BEGINNING YESTERDAY, ALL THE DOOR LOCKS WILL NEITHER LOCK NOR UNLOCK USING ANY OF THE PREVIOUSLY MENTINOED METHODS, THE LIGHTS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE DOOR WILL NOT TURN OFF, AND THE DASH SYMBOL SHOWING ALL DOORS AJAR STAYS ON CONSTANTLY. I INITALLY ASSUMED IT WAS THE DOOR ACTUATORS BUT AFTER RESEARCHING THE PROBLEM, IT SEEMS TO POINT TOWARDS AN ISSUE REGARDING THREE RELAYS WHICH ARE SOLDERED ON WHAT'S CALLED A MULTIPLEX CONTROL UNIT LOCATED UNDER THE DASH ON THE LEFT. SAFETY ISSUE IS I CAN'T LOCK OR UNLOCK THE DOORS.

THE DEALER INFORMED THE CONTACT OF A RECALL, BUT NO OPEN RECALLS WERE FOUND. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A POSTCARD FROM TK HOLDINGS, ALERTING HER THAT THEY FILED FOR BANKRUPTCY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 100,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE STATIONARY, THE KEYS BECAME VERY HOT AFTER BEING REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BUTTONS ON THE KEY FOBIKS BECAME INOPERABLE AND NEITHER OF THE IGNITION KEYS WOULD START THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER AND THE DEALER WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 40,000.
MY FRONT PASSENGER POWER WINDOW AND THE TWO BACK WINDOWS HAVE STOPPED WORKING COMPLETELY. THEY CANNOT BE OPENED. I LOOKED ONLINE AND THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE HONDA ACCORDS. IT IS DANGEROUS. THEY JUST STOPPED ONE DAY.
THE CLUSTER LIGHTS AND THE DOME LIGHT WILL GET DIM. THE DOME LIGHT DOES WHEN YOU OPEN THE DOORS. THE CLUSTER LIGHTS WILL WHILE THE HEAD LIGHTS ARE ON. THE LIGHTS ON THE RADIO DO THE SAME. THE RADIO WILL MAKE A LOUD NOISE AND STOP PLAYING UNTIL YOU TURN OFF AND TURN BACK ON.THE WIRING TO BACK SPEAKERS IS PUT IN WRONG DONT WORK AT ALL. THE SEAT BELTS WILL LOCK WHEN TRYING TO PULL THEM AND IT DONT MATTER IF ITS IN MOTION OR STATIONARY.
TAKATA RECALL THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT INTERMITTENTLY COMES ON AND STAYS ON WHEN THE CAR IS STARTED. IT CONTINUES TO REMAIN ILLUMINATED SOMEDAYS AND THEN NOT AT ALL ON OTHERS. HOWEVER, OUR CONCERN IS THAT THE AIRBAGS WILL DEPLOY IN AN ACCIDENT AND THAT THE METAL CHARDS THEY ARE KNOWN TO EXPLODE IS WORSE THAN NO AIRBAG! THE INTERMITTENT NATURE OF THE PROBLEM MEANS IT CAN'T BE DIAGNOSED AND REPAIRED. ALSO, THE ACCORD HYBRID MODEL IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE TAKATA RECALL, DESPITE THE FACT THAT IT APPARENTLY HAS THE VERY SAME TAKATA AIRBAG SYSTEM..NOR WAS IT A PART OF THE IMA LAWSUIT THAT WAS THE SAME SYSTEM THAT THE CIVIC HAS A LAWSUIT OVER. JUST BECAUSE OF THE LOW NUMBER OF THIS MODEL BEING SOLD, OWNERS SHOULDN'T BE IGNORED AND NOT SERVED AS THE MASS NUMBER OF OTHER MODEL OWNERS, WHO DIDN'T BUY THE DISCONTINUED PROBLEM MODEL THAT ONLY A SMALL NUMBER OF US GOT STUCK WITH. LIKE AT 91,000 I NEED A IMA BATTERY REPLACEMENT JUST AS I KNEW THERE WAS PROBLEMS A LONG TIME BEFORE THE DASH ICON ILLUMINATED, BUT HONDA WON'T ACKNOWLEDGE UNTIL THEN. CONVENIENT TO MASK BATTERY PROBLEMS WITH A SOFTWARE UPDATE WHICH SERVES THE PURPOSE TO PRETTY MUCH JUST DELAY AND SUPPRESS THE ISSUE UNTIL THE 10 YR/100,000M WARRANTY IS OVER. IT IS KNOWN TO MAKE MILEAGE FAR WORSE BUT HEY-DRAWS OUT BEING ABLE TO PROVE ITS THE BATTERY! WORKS FOR THEM-( HONDA) WHATS WORSE IS WHEN YOU BOUGHT THE JUNK MODEL FOR OVER THE KBB VALUE, HAVE PAID IN FULL AND ONLY BOUGHT 2YRS AGO- SO THAT NOW YOU NEED A CAR ALL OVER AGAIN AND CANT SELL THIS WHEN IT GETS POOR GAS MILEAGE AND NEEDS 4000 IN REPAIRS. HONDA SHOULD FOCUS ON US BEFORE THEIR ADVERTISING RANDOM FINANCIAL GIFTS OF AWARDS TO ANYONE! TRY GIVING IT BACK TO THOSE WHO GAVE YOU THAT MONEY FIRST...

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 132,747.
THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM ON MY 2005 ACCORD SEDAN IS NOT WORKING. THE SCREEN DISPLAYS "CHECK YOUR DISK" BUT IT ALSO AFFECTS THE A/C-HEATER FAN CONTROL, RADIO PRESET STATIONS, CLOCK SETTINGS, STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS. THIS TO ME IS A MANUFACTURER DEFECT AND SHOULD BE RECALLED. MANY PEOPLE ARE HAVING THE SAME OR SIMILAR ISSUE. MY MAIN CONCERN IS THE LACK OF NOT BEING ABLE TO ADJUST THE FAN ON EITHER A/C OR HEATER, IT SEEMS TO ALL BE CONNECTED TO THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM. PLEASE HELP! THIS NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT AS A SAFETY RECALL, IN CASE OF FOGGY WINDOW I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO INCREASE THE FAN CONTROL. HOW DO I KNOW YOU TOOK MY CONCERN IN CONSIDERATION? ONCE AGAIN, PLEASE HELP!
