ONE DAY WHILE DRIVING TO WORK I WAS LISTENING TO MUSIC IN THE VEHICLE'S FACTORY 6 DISK CD CHANGER AT WHICH TIME I NOTICED IT QUITE WORKING. I GLANCED AND SAW THE WORDS "ERR". FROM THAT TIME THE CD PLAYER FAILED TO RESPOND TO ANY COMMANDS. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER WHERE THEY ATTEMPTED FIX THE PROBLEM AND DID NOT CONTINUE AS THE CD PLAYER WAS OUT OF WARRANTY. I AM NOW HAVE 6 STUCK CD'S IN THE UNIT AND IT WILL NOT PLAY OR EJECT CD'S. *TR

SEVERE DAMAGE TO TO THE CAR MINOR INJURIES TO MYSELF THE ONLY PERSON IN THE CAR, DRIVER. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING AT SPEEDS OF 35 MPH, THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED WITHOUT WARRANT. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO MOVE THE VEHICLE FROM THE HIGHWAY WITHOUT INCIDENT AND WAS ASSISTED BY A PASSING POLICE OFFICER WHO FILED A POLICE REPORT. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE AND ADVISED THE AIR BAGS MAY HAVE DEPLOYED DUE TO ABNORMALLY PRESSURE. THE MANUFACTURE WOULD NOT PROVIDE ANY ASSISTANCE WITH REPAIRS TO THE AIR BAGS. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 115,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 120,712.
PULSATING BRAKES PROBLEM ON HONDA ACCORD 2006. I HAVE REPLACED THE FRONT BRAKE ROTORS TWICE IN THE LAST 4 MONTHS AND I STILL HAVE THE NAGGING PULSATING BRAKE PROBLEM ON MY 2006 HONDA ACCORD LX-SE MODEL. THE CAR HAS AROUND 65,500 MILES ON IT. THE CAR BEHAVES HYSTERICALLY WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLIED AT SPEEDS ABOVE 45 MPH. THE DEALER SIMPLY DISMISSES THE PROBLEM AS NON-EXISTENT. *TR

WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH ON NORMAL ROAD CONDITIONS PROCEEDING INTO AN INTERSECTION, SUDDENLY, AN OPPOSING VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE HEAD-REST DETACHED FROM THE SEAT WHICH EJECTED INTO THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE STRIKING THE OCCUPANT. THE DRIVER SIDE REAR PASSENGER SUSTAINED MINOR INJURY TO THE FACE AND NECK. THE POLICE WAS CALLED TO THE SCENE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A COLLISION CENTER. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 32,000.

CAR CUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING AND ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON. THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE. AUTOZONE DID A DIAGNOSTIC TEST WHICH STATED I HAD A FAULTY COMPUTER MODULE. HONDA COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING OTHER THAN I NEEDED A NEW BATTERY. THIS IS MY 4TH BATTERY. THE BATTERY WILL NOT STAY CHARGED. I DON'T FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS CAR NOW ESPECIALLY SINCE I FOUND THE SAME PROBLEMS HAPPENING TO OTHER DRIVERS ONLINE. YOU ALL HAVE SOME OF THE SAME DEFECTS ON OTHER MODELS AS MY 2006 HONDA ACCORD EXV6. I ALSO WAS NOT CONTACTED ABOUT THE EXTERIOR LIGHT DEFECTS. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD ROLL AWAY WHEN SHIFTED INTO PARK. THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THE VEHICLE WAS TO ENGAGE THE EMERGENCY BRAKE. THE CONTACT STATED THE FAILURE HAD OCCURRED AT LEAST FOUR TIMES. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 34,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
THIRD GEAR CONSTANTLY POPS OUT OF GEAR UPON SLOWER/NORMAL ACCELERATION. THE FLUID WAS CHANGED AT APPROX 12K MILES, THIRD GEAR SYNCHRO WAS REPLACED AT APPROX 15K, AND NOW AROUND 19K IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN..MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN AS CAR WONT ACCELERATE IN NEUTRAL. *TR

REAR BRAKES WORN OUT ON 2006 HONDA ACCORD. I WENT TO HAVE THE ROTORS ON THE REAR BRAKES TURNED AND THE TECH MEASURED THEM AND THEY WERE BOTH AT 8.5 MM. INDICATING THAT THEY HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN TURNED. THE CAR HAS 50K MILES AND HAS HAD THE REAR BRAKES REPLACED TWICE. THESE BRAKE PADS ARE TINY FOR SUCH A LARGE CAR AND I FEEL THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD. THE PADS WEAR OUT MUCH FASTER THAN ANY OTHER CAR I HAVE OWNED AND WOULDN'T EXPECT THIS TO OCCUR. THEREFORE, IT MAKES IT A SAFETY HAZARD BECAUSE AN AVERAGE DRIVER WOULDN'T THINK TO CHECK THIS CONDITION. THE FRONT BRAKES ARE IN GOOD SHAPE, WHY WOULD ONE SET OF BRAKES WEAR OUT SO MUCH FASTER THAN THE OTHER SET? *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 HONDA ACCORD. SHE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR MAINTENANCE AND A LEAK IN THE AIR CONDITIONER UNIT WAS FOUND. SHE ARRANGED AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE THE VEHICLE REPAIRED. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT A PEBBLE COULD HAVE CAUSED THE HOLE IN THE COMPRESSOR. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED AT HER EXPENSE. SHE CALLED THE MANUFACTURER, BUT WAS NOT PROVIDED WITH ANY ASSISTANCE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 35,000. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 29,000. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CHROME PASSENGER DOOR HANDLES HAVE CAUSED THE INJURIES TO HIS HANDS. THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR HANDLES HAVE ALSO CAUSED INJURIES TO HIS HANDS AS WELL. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER TO HAVE THE DOOR HANDLES REPLACED; HOWEVER, THE MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT COVER THE COST THE HANDLES WERE NOT REPLACED. THE DEALER WILL GIVE THE CONTACT A WRITTEN STATEMENT SAYING THE THE DOOR HANDLES ARE SHARP AND HAS CAUSED INJURIES. THE STATEMENT WILL BE SENT TO THE MANUFACTURER TO REQUEST THAT THE HANDLES BE REPLACED WITH NO COST TO THE CONTACT. THE CONTACT FEELS THE MANUFACTURER SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIRS SINCE IT' S A MANUFACTURERS DEFECT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 51,000.
A/C IN MY 2006 HONDA ACCORD SE I HAD PURCHASED ONLY 2 WEEKS PRIOR WAS COMING OUT AS WATER VAPOR AND STOPPED WORKING ALTOGETHER. TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY RAN A DIAGNOSTIC AND SAID A ROCK OR PEBBLE MUST'VE HIT THE COMPRESSOR, AND THAT THIS TYPE OF REPAIR IS NOT COVERED UNDER MY BUMPER TO BUMPER WRAP WARRANTY. IT COST $100 FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC ALONE, AND WOULD BE AN ADDITIONAL $550 FOR THE ACTUAL REPAIR. ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS FOR A CAR I HAD LESS THAN A MONTH! *TR

AT ABOUT 48,000 MILES ON THE CARS ODOMETER, MY POWER STEERING PUMP FAILED, IT WAS NOT ALL THE TIME ONLY WHEN TURNING AND PARKING, WITH VEHICLE NOT IN MOTION. THE DEALER SAID THAT THE POWER STEERING PUMP WAS LOOSING PRESSURE AND THAT IT ONLY HAPPENS ON V6 MODELS. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING BETWEEN 65-70 MPH, THE LOWER FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE BALL JOINT FAILED AND CAUSED THE AXLE TO DETACH FROM THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER AND THEY STATED THAT THE BALL JOINT AND AXLE DAMAGE WAS NOT DUE TO NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. THE MANUFACTURER WILL NOT COVER THE REPAIR COST. REAR BRAKES HAD TO BE REPLACED AT 28,431 MILES. CONTRIBUTING FACTOR MAY BE THAT 99% OF THE 28,431 MILES ACCRUED FROM CITY DRIVING. INSPECTION REVEALED FRONT BRAKE PADS DID NOT NEED TO BE REPLACED AT THIS TIME. *TR
WAS DRIVING MY 2006 HONDA ACCORD EX SEDAN ON THE HIGHWAY AND THE DRIVER-SIDE CURTAIN AND SEAT AIRBAGS DEPLOYED WITHOUT INCIDENT. THERE WAS NO ACCIDENT OR IMPACT OF ANY KIND. THE AIRBAGS JUST DEPLOYED. LIKEWISE, THE DRIVER'S SEAT BELT TIGHTENED AND WILL NOT PULL OR RETRACT. LUCKILY I WAS ABLE TO KEEP THE CAR UNDER CONTROL AND NOT WRECK, DESPITE BEING CAUGHT OFF GUARD. NOTHING WAS DONE TO CORRECT THIS FAILURE. HONDA INDICATED THAT THERE ARE NO RECALLS AND THEY ARE UNAWARE OF ANY RELATED ISSUES. HONDA SUGGESTED I CALL MY INSURANCE WHO TOLD ME THAT IT WAS A MECHANICAL FAILURE AND THEREFORE NOT COVERED. *TR
CAR: 2006 HONDA ACCORD EXL DEFECT: REAR BRAKE UNEVEN WEAR CURRENT MILEAGE 23,950 PROBLEM: MY MECHANIC HAS INSPECTED THE BREAKS TODAY AND INFORMED ME THAT MY ACCORD HAS AN ASSEMBLY DEFECT. REAR BRAKE PADS ARE NOT WEARING OUT EVENLY, WITH EXTERIOR PADS (BOTH SIDES IN THE REAR) HAVE ABOUT 50% LIFE LEFT -- AND INTERIOR PADS ON BOTH SIDES HAVE 0% LIFE LEFT. THIS INDICATES THE FAULTY ASSEMBLY THAT CAUSES THE INTERIOR PADS NOT RELEASING COMPLETELY AFTER BRAKING. AS A RESULT, THERE IS A DISPROPORTIONATE WEAR OF PADS. *TR THANK YOU!

DURING LOW SPEED DRIVING A HOLE ABOUT 4 INCHES BY 3 INCHES BLEW OUT OF THE TIRE. IT LOOKS AS IF THE BELTS ARE TOTALLY DETACHED FROM THE OUTSIDE RUBBER OF THE TIRE. ON LOOKING ON THE INTERNET I FOUND SCORES OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT SIMILAR FAILURES. *TR

I WAS IN A HEAD-ON COLLISION THAT TOTALED MY CAR. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, CAUSING MY HEAD TO HIT THE CAR. IT WAS A 2006 HONDA ACCORD THAT I BOUGHT NEW. *TR
ROUGHLY A MONTH AGO FROM TODAY IE DECEMBER 2008; THE HORN ON MY CAR SOUNDED DIFFERENT BUT THEN WAS FINE, TIME HAD PASSED AND IT GOT WORSE AND CRACKLED. I TOOK THE CAR INTO THE LOCAL DEALER FOR REPAIR THIS MORNING AND HAD ASKED IF THIS COULD BE CONSIDERED UNDER WARRANTY EVENTHOUGH I AM 3,000 MILES OVER THE STD WARRANTY WITH THE 5% EXTENSION FROM HONDA, THE CAR IS 3 DAYS SHY OF 3 YEARS OLD, THEY SAID NO. THE PROBLEM WAS THE RIGHT HORN BROKE, THE LEFT WORKED FINE. IT WAS ABOUT $120 FOR DIAG, PARTS, AND LABOR WHICH I HAD TO DO BUT AM ASKING HONDA TO CONSIDER THIS TO BE COVERED SINCE A 3 YEAR OLD CAR SHOULD NOT HAVE SOMETHING BASIC BREAK SO SOON, CLEARLY IT WAS A DEFECTIVE PART. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN ESPECIALLY WITH A 4 MONTH BABY I TRANSPORT DAILY IN THIS CAR. *TR
2006 HONDA ACCORD BOUGHT NEW IN 2007 46K MILES. A/C STOPPED BLOWING COLD AIR, TOOK IT TO DEALER BECAUSE OF EXTENDED WARRANTY. WAS TOLD REPAIR WOULD NOT BE COVERED BY WARRANTY BECAUSE CONDENSER WAS PUNCTURE BY ROAD HAZARD. CAR HAS NOT BEEN IN WRECK NOR HAS ANYTHING BEEN RUN OVER, WAS TOLD A SMALL ROCK PUNCTURE THE CONDENSER. INTERNET SEARCH ON THIS ISSUE HAS RETURNED MULTIPLE SITES AND MESSAGE BOARDS CLAIMING THE SAME ISSUE AND THAT HONDA IS NOT COVERING REPAIRS. OBVIOUSLY THERE IS A DESIGN FLAW IN THEIR VEHICLES. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 HONDA ACCORD. THE DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG SENSOR LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED AND FAILED TO SHUT OFF. THE LIGHT ALSO REMAINED ILLUMINATED AFTER THE DEALER RESET IT. THE FAILURE OCCURRED AFTER 100,000 MILES. THE FAILURE WAS DIAGNOSED AND THE SENSOR WAS RESET ON THREE OCCASIONS; HOWEVER, WITHIN THREE DAYS THE AIR BAG SENSOR LIGHT CAME BACK ON. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 106,000.
2006 HONDA ACCORD WE BOUGHT BRAND NEW 2.5 YEARS AGO. 55,000 MILES AND THE A/C CONDENSER NEEDS TO BE REPLACED FOR $800 DUE TO A PUNCTURE FROM A ROCK. NOT COVERED UNDER HONDA WARRANTIES, NOT CONSIDERED "NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR" EVEN THOUGH YOU CAN READ NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ON THE INTERNET REGARDS THE SAME PROBLEM. *TR
I HAVE HAD SEVERAL VISITS TO THE DEALER OVER THE PAST YEAR AND HALF WITH POPPING OR CLUNKING NOISES IN THE BRAKES. ALSO, SEVERAL TIMES THE CAR JUDDERED WHEN STOPPING. THE FRONT ROTORS WERE TURNED AT APPROX. IN FEB. '08, @27000 MILES, AND AGAIN AT APPROX. IN AUG. OR SEP '08@ 38,000 MILES PLUS THE FRONT BRAKE PADS WERE REPLACED. ON DEC. 26, 2008 JUDDERED EXITING THE INTERSTATE TO STOP FOR LUNCH. AFTER STOPPING FOR LUNCH, THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL LOCKED UP ON ME 3 SEPARATE OCCASIONS. THE CAR WAS TOWED TO THE CLOSEST HONDA DEALERSHIP. THE ONLY THING THEY FOUND WAS CONTAMINATION IN THE BRAKE LINES. I DROVE THE CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP HOME AND TO THE DEALER WHERE ALL OF THE SERVICE HAS BEEN DONE. THEY FLUSHED THE BRAKE LINES ON MONDAY, DEC. 29. TOLD ME TO RETURN IN 500 MILES AND THEY WOULD FLUSH THE LINES AGAIN. LESS THAN 150 MILES LATER, THE RIGHT FRONT LOCKED UP ON ME AGAIN ON FRI. JAN. 2, 2009. ONCE AGAIN, I TOOK MY CAR TO HONDA ON SAT. 3, 09. THEY FLUSHED THE LINES AGAIN, CHECKED EVERYTHING, TURNED THE REAR ROTORS, DROVE THE CAR 323 MILES WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT TOLD ME TO BE CAREFUL AND TOLD ME TO RETURN IF THE BRAKES ACTED UP AGAIN. ALL THE TIME THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT STATED THAT THE BRAKES WERE IN WORKING ORDER AND COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. *TR
WHILE GOING AROUND A CORNER OFF A HIGHWAY MY REAR DRIVERSIDE TIRE BLEW OUT CAUSING MY CAR TO GO OFF THE SIDE OF THE ROAD HITTING A SIGN AND CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE ENTIRE DRIVER SIDE OF MY VEHICLE. *TR

THUS A "ROAD HAZARD" NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY, ACCORDING TO DEALER. COST TO REPAIR: $550. UNIT IS LOW TO THE GROUND, VULNERABLE TO DAMAGE. NUMEROUS WEBSITES NOTE PEOPLE EXPERIENCING SIMILAR DAMAGE WITH OTHER ACCORD YEARS AND MODELS, NOT COVERED, COSTING APPROX. SAME AMOUNT. SOMETIMES DAMAGE RECURS. HONDA SHOULD PROVIDE A SHIELD TO PROTECT THIS VULNERABLE PART. THE SAME PART ALSO ACTIVATES INTERIOR DEFROSTER, WHICH WILL NOT WORK IF CONDENSER IS DAMAGED. THAT IS A SAFETY ISSUE, AS VISIBILITY IS REDUCED. MY DEPENDENTS HAVE ASTHMA AND ALLERGIES, AND THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE FOR THEM DRIVING IN A VERY HOT AND HUMID CLIMATE OF THE HOUSTON AREA. THERE IS NO SHIELD OR OTHER DEVICE OFFERED BY HONDA TO KEEP THE SAME DAMAGE FROM HAPPENING AGAIN. I DRIVE CAREFULLY AND KEEP MY CAR WELL-MAINTAINED. I AM A POLICE OFFICER IN THE NORTHEAST OHIO AREA. IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS I'VE COME IN CONTACT WITH A DESIGN FLAW PERTAINING TO THE NEWER MODEL HONDA VEHICLES. ON AT LEAST 10 SEPARATE OCCASIONS I'VE HAD TO ADVISE DRIVERS OF HONDA VEHICLES TO TURN ON THEIR LIGHTS. DURING FOG, RAIN AND NIGHT TIME DRIVING THESE VEHICLES WERE DRIVING WITH ONLY THE DAYTIME DRIVING LIGHTS ON. IN MY OPINION THE FLAW IS THAT THE DAYTIME DRIVING LIGHTS COME ON AUTOMATICALLY AND ALSO ACTIVATE THE DASHBOARD ILLUMINATION, SO THE DRIVER OF THE CAR THINKS THE HEADLIGHTS ARE ON. HOWEVER, THE ONLY LIGHTS THAT ARE ON, ARE THE DAYTIME DRIVING LIGHTS, THERE ARE NO TAILLIGHTS, NO SIDEMARKER LIGHTS OR THE HEADLIGHTS THAT ARE ON. PRACTICALLY THE VEHICLE IS DRIVING BLACKED OUT IN THE ABOVE LISTED WEATHER CONDITIONS AND THEREFORE CREATES A HAZARD TO THE OCCUPANTS AND OTHER DRIVERS ON THE ROAD. I BELIEVE THIS DESIGN FLAW CREATES A SUBSTANTIAL RISK TO THE PEOPLE ON THE ROAD AS WELL AS THE OWNERS OF THOSE HONDA VEHICLES. NEVER COULD GET IT TO WORK IN D3 OR D ON THE WAY HOME (ABOUT 5 MILES). STOPPED ONCE AND RESTARTED THE ENGINE, BUT HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. LEFT IT SIT FOR A WHILE AT HOME (2 H), AND TRIED AGAIN; SAME PROBLEM. HAD IT TOWED TO A DEALER AND LEFT IT THERE FOR A WEEK. THEY USED IT FOR 39 MILES BUT DID NOT FIND ANYTHING. *TR
HI, MY ACCORD'S PAINT HAS BEEN PEELING SINCE APPROX. 1 YEAR AFTER I GOT THE VEHICLE. IT FIRST STARTED WITH THE WINDOWS, THEN THE TRUNK, NOW IT IS ON THE TOP AND SIDES AND MORE AROUND WINDOWS. PEELED PARTS AROUND WINDOWS IMMEDIATELY, AND ON THE TRUNK IT STARTED AS SMALL CIRCLES, WHICH HAVE NOW SPREAD TO 50% OF THE CAR- IT IS GOING TO RUST AND THERE IS BARE BODY AND NOT ANY PAINT LEFT IN THESE AREAS. I HAVE MADE MANY ATTEMPTS, ALL WHICH THEY TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE PAINT- INCLUDING A $250 QUOTE FROM THE DEALER FOR THE TRUNK ONLY. RECENTLY, I TOOK MY CAR THERE FOR SERVICE AND THEY TOOK A GASH OUT OF MY PAINT IN THE BACK BUMPER SO I HAVE TO GET THE BUMPER PAINTED TOO NOW. SINCE THIS IS A NATIONWIDE DEFECT IT SHOULD BE RECALLED AND THE CSTMR SHOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE! PLEASE HELP! TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, THE CONTACT MADE AN INCORRECT TURN AND STRUCK A PALM TREE WITH THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE. DURING THE CRASH, THE SAFETY HARNESS RETRACTOR FAILED AND THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. BRAKES ARE EXTREMELY SENSITIVE. APPLYING THE BRAKES WHILE DRIVING AT SLOW SPEEDS CAN OFTEN GIVE THE FEELING THAT THE OCCUPANTS MAY HIT THE WINDSHIELD...EVEN THOUGH WEARING SEATBELTS. HONDA SERVICE TECH'S HAVE ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THEY ARE THAT WAY BUT MAINTAIN "THAT IS JUST THE WAY THEY ARE" AND "YOU'RE JUST GOING TO HAVE TO GET USED TO IT." I'VE OWNED THIS CAR ALMOST 2 YEARS AND IT IS THE ONLY ONE I EVER DRIVE...AND I AM NOT ABLE TO BRAKE THIS CAR SMOOTHLY. MICHELIN ENERGY MXV4 PROBLEMS. WE WERE DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY AS THE ONE OF THE REAR TIRE BLEW OUT. WE PULLED OVER AND CHANGED THE TIRES. AS I CHECKED THE DAMAGED, I NOTICED A HUGE CRACK ON THE INSIDE PART OF THE TIRE (NO CURB DAMAGE POSSIBLE). SO WE WENT TO A MICHELIN STORE TO REQUEST A WARRANTY EXCHANGE (TIRE HAD LESS DEN 10K MILES). THE REP SAID IT SEEMED TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS KIND OF TIRE AND HE WILL TRY TO GET US A WARRANTY EXCHANGE. BUT BECAUSE OF MICHELIN DENYING THE PROBLEM, WE PROB. WONT GET THE TIRE EXCHANGED. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESUME NORMAL OPERATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE OR LOCATE A FAILURE CODE. THE TECHNICIAN RECOMMENDED THAT THE BATTERY BE REPLACED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 23,387. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 41,800.
