ALL LATERAL AIR BAG EXPLODED BY ITSELF. I WAS DRIVING AT 25 MILES PER HOUR IN A CITY STREET AND I HEAR AN EXPLOSION AND I SAW SMOKE AND WEIR SMELL . NO ONE WAS AROUND . NO REASON TO EXPLODE . I STOPPED THE CAR AND GOT OUT SAFE .

THE CONTACT STATED SHE DROVE TO THE ER AND SOUGHT MEDICAL ATTENTION FOR HER RIGHT KNEE THAT WAS INJURED. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V182000 (AIR BAGS) SHORTLY AFTER THE ACCIDENT. THE CONTACT CALLED LOCAL DEALER SUPERIOR HONDA (4777 SPRING GROVE AVE, CINCINNATI, OH 45232;(513) 542-8000) AND WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED AS OF YET. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN. *DT*JB
The contact owns a 2007 Honda Accord. The contact stated that there was film covering the inside of both headlights causing the lights to fail to illuminate properly. The vehicle had been taken to the dealer who confirmed that it was a known failure. The dealer informed the contact that the vehicle would have to be taken to a body shop to have the film cleaned off the headlights. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and opened a case. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to file a safety complaint. The failure mileage was unknown. The VIN was not available.
I HAVE AN INTERMITTENT BUZZING NOISE WHEN THE CAR IS RUNNING. IT GETS LOUDER AND MORE OFTEN WHEN THE CAR WARMS UP. I TOOK IT TO MY LOCAL HONDA DEALERSHIP NAMED O'DONNELL HONDA IN ELLICOTT CITY, MD. THE SUPERVISOR MR. JERRY FURR OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT SAID HE NEVER HEARD OF A DIODE IN THE ALTERNATOR YET I FOUND ON GOOGLE THAT THIS VIDEO SHOWED THAT EXACT PROBLEM. I ALSO CAME IN TO GET MY GLOVE BOX REPAIRED BECAUSE IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. THEY SAID IT WOULD BE EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE BECAUSE THEY WOULD HAVE TO REPLACE THE COMPLETE GLOVE BOX. SO, THEY SAID JUST PULL ON THE BOTTOM OF THE DOOR OF THE GLOVE BOX AND IT MAY OR MAY NOT OPEN WITH TRIAL AND ERROR. THAT GLOVE BOX WAS PROBABLY DEFECTIVE WHEN IT WAS NEW. I BOUGHT THIS CAR FROM CARMAX IN 2010. THIS PROBLEM WITH THE GLOVEBOX SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED IN 2007 WHEN THE CAR WAS NEW. SO, I SPENT SEVERAL HOURS AT THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY GAVE ME BACK MY CAR WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING AND THEY CHARGED ME $69. WHAT A WASTE!
I JUST BOUGHT THE CAR AND HAD IT 1 WEEK AND I WAS DRIVING TO WORK WHEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON SUDDENLY AND CAR STARTED MISFIRING. THIS HAPPENED RIGHT WHEN I WAS STOPPED AT A LIGHT AND TURNED ON MY A/C. 3 CODES CAME ON WHICH WERE P0420, P0139, AND P2647. I WAS TOLD I NEED TO REPROGRAM THE POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE. I HAVE SEEN MANY RECALLS ON HERE FOR THAT SAME THING BUT WHEN I PUT MY VIN NUMBER IN IT SAYS 0 RECALLS FOR MY CAR. I JUST REALLY FEEL IT IS RELATED TO CAMPAIGN 11V395000
CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING WARNING LIGHT FOR AIR BAGS. SOMETIMES IT STAYS ON AS I AM DRIVING, OTHERWISE IT WILL FLASH ON AND THEN TURN OFF.
THE STEERING GOT REALLY TIGHT HARD TO TURN AND THE ENGINE RUNNING LOUD WASN'T DOING IT BEFORE AND I SEEN THERE A LOT OF RECALLS ON THIS VEHICLE. *TR
DRIVING HOME FROM AIRPORT AFTER RETURNING HOME LATE AT NIGHT MY CAR RANDOMLY ACCELERATED AND DRIVE LIGHT STARTED BLINKING. CAR THEN DRIVE NORMAL A FEW MORE MIN B4 DOING THIS AGAIN JUMPING ON ITS OWN WHILE ONLY GOING 15 MH UP TO 2 AND 3000TPM. I PULLED OVER TURNED OFF CAR THEN BACK ON. CAR WAS FINE THE NEXT 5 MILE HOME. THE NEXT MORNING I DROVE 15MILES FINE WHEN THE CAR STARTED THIS AGAIN. I PULLED OVER NOTICED SLIGHT SMOKE BUT WAS LESS THAN 1 MILE FROM SAFETY SO I TRIED MAKING IT. THE CAR AGAIN JUMPED AT LOW SPEED UP TO 3000 RPM AND STAYED THERE. BREAKING AND GOING ON IT'S OWN. ONCE I MADE IT TO SAFETY I PARKED CAR. UPON GETTING IT TOWED FOUND THAT MY AXEL CAME UNSEATED DURING THIS AND LOST ALL TRAN FLUID. CAR WOULDN'T GO INTO ANY GEAR. UPON RESEAT OF AXEL AND REPLACE TRAN FLUID CAR SEEMS TO BE OK. AFTER READING ALL THESE OTHER PEOPLE WITH SIMILAR ISSUES I'M THINKING THAT THE AXEL WAS NOT THE ISSUE BUT THE RESULT OF WHATEVER THE REAL ISSUE IS THAT CAUSED IT TO UNSEAT TO BEGIN WITH. IF IT WOULDN'T OF BEEN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND EARLY MORNING I WOULD OF MYSELF OR SOMEONE ELSE. I'M TERRIFIED OF MY CAR NOW. LUCKILY I WAS ON A NEIGHBORHOOD STREET BOTH TIMES

THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V501000 (AIR BAGS) AND 19V182000 (AIR BAGS) HOWEVER, THE PARTS TO DO THE RECALL REPAIRS WERE NOT YET AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAD EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIRS. AN UNKNOWN DEALER WAS CONTACTED AND CONFIRMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2007 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE HAD PARKED THE VEHICLE IN HIS DRIVEWAY AND IT CAUGHT ON FIRE OVERNIGHT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE INSIDE THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED BY THE FLAMES AND THE DRIVER'S SIDE SMALL WINDOW WAS BROKEN. HOWEVER, THE OUTSIDE WAS NOT DAMAGED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES SUSTAINED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED THE NEXT MORNING AND CAME TO THE RESIDENCE. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT INFORMED HIM THAT THE FIRE WAS CAUSED BY THE AIR BAG MODULE EXPLODING AND OF AN UNKNOWN AIR BAG MODULE RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS DETERMINED A TOTAL LOSS BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN CONTACTED YET. THE VEHICLE CURRENTLY WAS STILL SITTING IN THE CONTACT'S DRIVEWAY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 108,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
My power steering hose has 3 holes in it that not only makes it hard to turn on the road, but causes a huge spray of fluid all over the engine and covers everything under the hood. Then while I’m driving everything tries to burn off and it creates a horrible smell and on some cases, smoke.
IN 2015,AND 2019 I RECEIVED A NOTICE FROM HONDA AND THE DMV RE: AIR BAG INFLATER FOR DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE. BOTH WERE REPLACED. THE DRIVERS SIDE ON 05/13/19 AS PER BULLETIN A19030B SER# 25082300733507, THE PASSENGER SIDE 07/01/15 BUL 15-041C SER# 25028180087416 BY DELLA HONDA PLATTSBURGH, NY 518 563-7686.
BOUGHT USED 2007 ACCORD FROM DEALER THAT HAD PUT ON NEW YOKOHAMA AVID ASCENT TIRES MFR'D IN 2015 (CC2084P2715, CC2084P0815, P205/60R16 91T). TWO YRS AND 25K MILES LATER, ONE TIRE WENT FLAT AND COULDN'T BE REPAIRED. FIGURED JUST RAN OVER SOMETHING AND REPLACED. NOW, 4 YRS AND 45K MILES LATER ANOTHER TIRE IS SPLITTING APART ALONG THE EDGE OF THE TREAD AND SIDEWALL, WITH THE OTHER TWO STARTING TO SHOW SIMILAR BUT LESS SEPARATION. TIRE HAS 80,000 MI WARRANTY YET APPEARS TO BE UNSAFE. ATTACHING A PHOTO. WILL TAKE IT TO A TIRE DEALER WHO SELLS YOKOHAMA AND SEE IF THEY CAN HELP IN ANYWAY.
WE WERE DRIVING, AND THE PASSENGER SIDE AND SEAT AIRBAGS DEPLOYED BUT DID NOT INFLATE. THE PASSENGER SEATBELT IS NOW PERMANENTLY LOCKED SO YOU CAN'T EVEN HAVE ANYONE IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. THERE WAS NO COLLISION AND NOTHING IN THE ROAD THAT WE COULD HAVE HIT. WE HAD A LOCAL HONDA SERVICE MANAGER TAKE A LOOK AT IT BRIEFLY AND HE SAID HE COULDN'T SEE WHY THEY DEPLOYED.
In November 2019 my key fob became inoperable and I called a local Conicelli Honda dealer in Conshohocken, PA to see if they could replace it. They said they could replace it so I took my 2007 Honda Accord there to purchase a new key fob. When I spoke to the service person she informed me that I would have to get the airbag recall issue addressed also and that it would be no charge to have that done. So I agreed. Now years later I'm still receiving the airbag recall notices. Can you help me?
HAVING TRANSMISSION ISSUES. IT DOES NOT SHIFT INTO GEARS SMOOTHLY WHEN DECELERATING OR LETTING OFF THE GAS. IT JERKS ESPECIALLY WHEN DECELERATING ABOUT 25 MPH AND 35 MPH. COULD BECOME A SAFETY HAZARD WHEN IT STICKS TO GEARS.
THE DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING THE 2007 HONDA ACCORD WHEN HER VEHICLE WAS PUSHED INTO ANOTHER CAR.THE DAUGHTER EXPERIENCED BACK STRAINS AND WHIP LASH. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE HOME ADDRESS. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. NO OTHER PASSENGERS WERE IN THE VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE CRASH OCCURRED OCTOBER 23, 2019. APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE 197,000. BH
BROKEN AXLE NEAR VIBRATION DAMPER LEAVING THE CAR UNABLE TO GO FRONTWARDS OR BACKWARDS UNDER POWER. THIS HAPPENED AT A RED LIGHT IN THE FAST LANE OF A FOUR LANE HIGHWAY. RUSTED THROUGH AT VIBRATION DAMPER WHICH IS A POOR DESIGN.
WAS DRIVING ON MAIN ROAD OF SUBDIVISION AT APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH THE CAR SUDDENLY LOST A LOT OF POWER. WOULD NOT ACCELERATE PAST 20 MPH EVEN WHEN PRESSING ON ACCELERATOR. ACCELERATOR PEDAL SENSOR STOPPED WORKING.
THE SRS UNIT AND SEAT BELT LOCKING UNIT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THE SRS UNIT AND SEAT BELT LOCKING UNIT THAT LOCKS THE SEAT BELT IN PLACE WHEN IT'S IN AN ACCIDENT ARE GIVEN CODES IN MY 2007 HONDA ACCORD AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THERE HAVE BEEN 8 RECALLS ON THE 2007 HONDA ACCORDS REGARDING THE AIR BAGS. THERE WERE RECALLS ON THE 2008 - 2009 HONDA ACCORDS SRS UNIT WHERE HONDA DID REPLACE THE SRS UNITS FOR FREE. THIS 2007 HONDA ACCORD WAS PURCHASE IN JULY OF 2007 AND BY JULY OF ANY YEAR THE NEXT YEARS MODELS ARE ALREADY OUT ON THE CAR LOTS AS WELL. SINCE 2008 HONDA ACCORDS WERE ALREADY ON THE LOTS THERE IS A CHANCE THAT THE SAME SRS UNIT THAT WAS RECALLED IN THE 2008 - 2009 HONDA ACCORDS COULD BE IN MY 2007 ACCORD. THE HONDA SERVICE GUY WORKING MY TICKET ASKED WHEN WAS THE CAR IN A FRONT END COLLISION. MY CAR HAS NEVER BEEN IN A FRONT END CAR COLLISION. HE SAID THAT THIS IS USUALLY WHEN THESE CODES HAPPEN. THE CODES MEAN THAT THE AIRBAGS HAVE BEEN DEPLOYED WHICH THEY HAVE NOT. MY MOTHER AND I HAVE BEEN THE ONLY OWNERS AND I HAVE BEEN THE ONLY DRIVER. HONDA OF AMERICAN SAID "AT SOME POINT AND TIME THE OWNER HAS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR REPAIRS". I HAVE FOR ALL REPAIRS THAT HAVE BEEN DONE TO THE CAR, BUT WITH ALL THE RECALLS AND THEM STATING "THEY WOULDN'T HAVE REPLACED AIRBAGS IN A CAR WHEN THE AIRBAGS HAD NO CHANCE OF DEPLOYING". THAT IS EXACTLY THE CASE IN THIS INSTANCE. THE AIRBAG CODES WERE DISPLAYED AND DIAGNOSED BEFORE THE AIRBAGS WERE REPLACE WITH THIS LAST RECALL. AS LONG AS THE CHECK AIRBAG LIGHT IS DISPLAYED THE AIRBAGS WILL NOT DEPLOY. THE HONDA SERVICE TECH SAID THIS. HONDA STATES "IF THEY GET ENOUGH COMPLAINTS AND COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT THE PARTS ARE DEFECTIVE THEN THEY WILL REIMBURSE ME". HOW MANY COMPLAINTS DO YOU HAVE TO HAVE BEFORE THERE THERE IS AN INVESTIGATION TO SEE IF THE PARTS ARE DEFECTIVE.
The contact owned a 2007 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at 10 MPH, the vehicle hit a curb, and the air bags deployed upon impact. The steering wheel air bag hit the contact's face and injured her eyes and affected her hearing. The contact received medical treatment the following day. The contact was not aware if there was a police report. The vehicle was initially towed to the contact's residence and then towed to the insurance company's tow yard, where it was deemed totaled by the insurance company. The contact later repurchased the vehicle from the tow yard. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unavailable.
I'VE HAD MY POWER STEERING PUMP AND RACK & PINION REPLACED. POWER STEERING IS STILL TOUGH, FEELS LIKE I'M TURNING THE WHEEL WITH 40LB WEIGHTS ON EACH SIDE OF IT. SUSPENSION IS FAILING, HITTING A BUMP MAKES MY CAR FEEL LIKE THE SUSPENSION IS PUSHING UP AND MAKES IT FLOAT MOMENTARILY AND MAKES A SLIGHT NOISE WHILE DRIVING. BOTH CV AXLES FAILED FRONT SIDE AT THE SAME POINT OF THAT RUBBER GROMMET IN THE MIDDLE, WATER GETS TRAPPED UNDER IT AND MAKES IT RUST OUT....BOTH OF THEM SNAPPED WHILE I WAS DRIVING AT DIFFERENT POINTS.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MCCONNELL HONDA (2840 EASTERN BLVD, MONTGOMERY, AL 36116, (334) 271-2500) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED, BUT A FAILURE CODE COULD NOT BE FOUND. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 135,000.
BROKEN SEAT FRAME BRACKETS/RAILS/HINGES LEAVING DRIVER TO SEAT IN RECLINING POSITION, PREVENTING THE DRIVER TO BRAKE AND APPLY NECESSARY PRESSURE TO STOP SAFELY AND PREVENT AN ACCIDENT. I WAS DRIVING AND WAS INVOLVED IN A MINOR ACCIDENT. WITHIN A COUPLE WEEKS OF GETTING VEHICLE FROM A AND Z MOTORS IN CLUTE, TO 77531 THE FRONT SUSPECT STARTING SQUEAKING I'M NOT FOR SURE WHAT THE ISSUE IS, FRONT HOOD DOESN'T SET RIGHT LIKE IT WAS WRECKED BUT THEY NEVER TOLD TOLD ME IF IT HAD EVER BEEN IN A WRECK, ALL THE WINDOWS DO NOT ROLL DOWN, CATALIC CONVERTER RATTLES WHEN TAKING OFF. I HAVE SEEN THAT THE VEHICLE COULD HAVE A RECALL AND IT COULD BE AND ISSUE THAT COULD KILL MYSELF KR OTHERS IN A ROLL OVER.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HUDSON HONDA (6608 JOHN F. KENNEDY BLVD, WEST NEW YORK, NJ 07093, (855) 690-4635) AND AN APPOINTMENT WAS MADE BY THE MANUFACTURER. DUE TO THE SCRAPES ON THE BUMPER, THE DEALER BLAMED THE AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT ON THE CONTACT. THE CONTACT WAS ASSIGNED A CASE NUMBER AND PROMISED A CALL BACK. THE MANUFACTURER EVEN HUNG UP ON THE CONTACT WHILE ATTEMPTING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. IN THE INTERIM, THE VEHICLE DID NOT HAVE ANY FUNCTIONING PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAGS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,000.
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, CAR ACTS LIKE IT HAS NO POWER ON TAKE OFF, SHIFTING HARD, ONCE UP TO MAYBE 40 MPH CAR BEGINS JERKING AND THE A/C AND HEAT STOPPED WORKING CORRECTLY AT ALMOST THE SAME TIME WITHIN A DAY OR TWO. I CAN TURN THE AIR ON AND IT WILL BLOW FOR MAYBE 20 SECONDS THEN JUST COMPLETELY STOP BLOWING WHICH BEING IT ALL HAPPENED AT PRACTICALLY THE SAME TIME IS FISHY TO ME. THE CAR ONLY HAS 156K MILES AND I CAN'T AFFORD TO CONTINUE MAKING PAYMENT AND PAY A COUPLE THOUSAND TO GET IT FIXED. THIS IS CRAZY I THOUGHT HONDA WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A GREAT CAR.

TAKATA INFLATORS. RECEIVED APRIL 2019 NHSTA RECALL 19V-182 IN MAIL. NEXT DAY CALLED GUNN HONDA WHERE VEHICLE PURCHASED & REQUESTED APPOINTMENT TO ADDRESS RECALL. NO CALL RECEIVED SO I CALLED AGAIN THE NEXT DAY. I EXPLAINED THIS CAR WOULD BE DRIVEN BY MY SON WHEN HE RETURNED FROM COLLEGE & SO NEEDED TO HAVE THIS SAFETY ISSUE ADDRESSED BEFORE HE DROVE CAR. REP AGAIN TOLD ME ONLY SERVICE ADVISOR COULD MAKE A RECALL WORK APPT & THAT SHE WOULD MARK MY CALL A PRIORITY & I WOULD HEAR BACK LATER THAT DAY. FEW DAYS LATER, STILL NO CALL. CALLED THIRD TIME, AGAIN TOLD A SERVICE ADVISOR WOULD CALL ME WITH APPT FOR RECALL WORK. FOUR WEEKS LATER, GUNN HONDA DEALERSHIP SERVICE ADVISOR HAS STILL NOT CALLED. CLEARLY, THIS DEALERSHIP HAS NO CONCERN FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS' SAFETY & THE NEED FOR ACTION ON A NHSTA MANDATED RECALL. TODAY, I FILED AN ONLINE REPORT WITH AMERICAN HONDA TO REPORT THE DEALERSHIP'S REFUSAL TO SCHEDULE RECALL WORK. THE GUNN HONDA DEALERSHIP HAS A BLATANT DISREGARD FOR THE SAFETY OF THE VEHICLE THEY SOLD TO ME. CLEARLY, DEATHS AND INJURIES HAVE OCCURRED BECAUSE OF THESE MALFUNCTIOINING INFLATORS YET THEY WILL NOT ADDRESS THE (SECOND) RECALL. WHAT IS THE POINT OF ISSUING A RECALL WHEN THE CAR OWNER IS UNABLE TO OBTAIN THE REPAIR AT THE DEALERSHIP WHERE THEY PURCHASED THE VEHICLE? YESTERDAY, I DROVE THE VEHICLE TO A HONDA DEALERSHIP LOCATED AT A FURTHER DISTANCE FROM MY HOME AND THIS DEALERSHIP (HILL COUNTRY HONDA) ADDRESSED THE RECALL WORK. PLEASE NOTE MY ATTEMPTS TO OBTAIN AN APPT & WAITING TO GET A RESPONSE FROM GUNN HONDA OCCURRED OVER AN ABT 6 WEEK PERIOD THAT BEGAN WITH MY RECEIPT OF THE 19V-182 RECALL NOTICE IN APRIL.
VEHICLE LOST CONTROL SUDDENLY WHILE MAKING U-TURN. AFTER THIS INCIDENT, I HAD TO TOW AWAY THIS TO MY RESIDENCE ADDRESS. VEHICLE STARTS BUT DOESN'T MOVE IN DRIVE OR REVERSE MODE. SAME IS CONDITION WITH D1, D2, D3. WHEN PUT BACK TO 'PARK GEAR', IT MAKES ANNOYING AND VERY LOUD NOISE THAT TENDS THE DRIVER TO TURN IGNITION OFF.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO HAVE THE POWER STEERING PUMP AND STEERING GEAR REPLACED. WHILE DRIVING, THE TIE ROD LOOSENED AND CAUSED THE CONTACT TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE STEERING WHEEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DIFFERENT INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT EVERYTHING WAS LOOSE ON THE FRONT AXLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 196,310.
WHEN DRIVING IN THE RAIN WIND SHIELD DEFROST IS NOT WORKING BECAUSE HEATING IS NOT GOING TO THE WINDSHIELD. I HAVE TO USE CLOTH TO WIPE IN SIDE WINDSHIELD TO DRIVE, IT IS IMPACTING VISIBILITY. HEAVY RAIN I HAVE TO STOP DURING ON THE ROAD. I FEEL LIKE DANGER TO DRIVE CAR.

THE RIGHT AXLE BROKE WHILE MAKING A TURN IN FEB 2019 ON MY 2007 ACCORD WITH A MANUAL TRANSMISSION BECAUSE OF CORROSION. I LIVE IN NORTHEAST OHIO WHERE THE ROADS ARE HEAVILY SALTED. THERE HAS BEEN A RECENT RECALL ON 2007 HONDA FIT FOR THE SAME PROBLEM
I TOOK MY 2007 HONDA ACCORD EX V6 COUPE INTO BOB HOWARD HONDA WHEN RECALL 12V222000 WAS PLACED ON MY CAR. THEY TOOK MY CAR IN AND SPENT WAY LONGER THAN IT SHOULD HAVE TO FIX MY VEHICLE. THEY STATED THAT THEY HAD PROBLEMS DURING THE FIX. EVER SINCE THEN, MY POWER STEERING DOES NOT HOLD FLUID. IT DRAINS CONSTANTLY.
THE FRONT AND BACK PASSENGER WINDOW AS WELL AS THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION. THE CAR WAS NOT INVOLVED IN ANY TYPE OF ACCIDENT.
PASSENGERS AIR BAG LIGHT IS ALWAYS ON
THE LOCKS ON MY CAR WILL NOT OPEN. REGARDLESS OF THE WIRELESS ENTRY OR MANUALLY OPENING WITH A KEY OR EVEN FROM THE INSIDE. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD BECAUSE WHEN ATTEMPTING TO UNLOCK THE DOORS, THE DOOR UNLOCKS THEN LOCKS. THE DOORS WILL NOT OPEN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. THIS IS A SEVERE HAZARD AS MY CHILDREN WERE LOCKED IN THE CAR AND I HAD TO TAKE NECESSARY MEASURES TO GET IN THE CAR THROUGH THE TRUNK TO GET THEM OUT. HONDA SAID THERE IS NO RECALL ON THIS ITEM AND I FIND THIS UNACCEPTABLE. I CANNOT AFFORD TO FIX THIS AND THIS IS SOMETHING THAT IS DANGEROUS AND SHOULD BE COVERED BY HONDA TO FIX. PLEASE HELP ME SO I CAN GET INTO MY CAR AND DRIVE SAFELY WITHOUT KNOWING ILL BE STUCK IN THE CAR.

OLD HONDAS USED TO LAST; USED TO BE EXCELLENT & ALL I'VE DRIVEN PAST 25 YEARS. NOW THE HONDA BRAND IS UNRELIABLE - LOYAL HONDA OWNERS LIKE ME, AFTER 25 YEARS DRIVING ONLY HONDA, ARE SWITCHING BRANDS. HONDA IS NOT THE RELIABLE CAR IT ONCE WAS. I WILL NEVER BUY HONDA AGAIN BECAUSE OF MAJOR PROBLEMS I HAD ON MY 07 RIGHT FROM THE START (I BOUGHT MY 07 HONDA BRAND NEW IN 08) & HAD PROBLEMS I NEVER SAW BEFORE IN THE PAST EVEN WITH 15+-YEAR OLD HONDAS.
THE POWER STEERING ON MY CAR IS STIFFENING, IT'S HARD TO STEER. THE VSA LIGHT IS ON ALONG WITH CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. I TOOK MY CAR INTO FINLAY HONDA IN FLAGSTAFF, AZ AFTER I FOUND THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE POWER STEERING. I HAD A NEW POWER STEERING PUMP PUT IN BEFORE I SAW THE RECALL NOTICE, SO THEREFORE I TOOK IT IN TO FINLAY HONDA BUT, RECALL WAS NOT PERFORMED DUE TO AN AFTERMARKET POWER STEERING REPLACED IN MY CAR. THE POWER STEERING PUMP WORKED OK FOR AWHILE, BUT IT IS BEGINNING TO STEER HARD AND I HAVEN'T BEEN DRIVING IT DUE TO THE SAFETY ISSUE. I CAN NOT AFFORD TO BUY A NEW PUMP AND HOSE FROM THE DEALER, AND BESIDES IT'S ON RECALL NO MATTER WHAT. THE POWER TRAIN AND THE TRANNY ARE IN GREAT CONDITION AND I WOULD LIKE TO KEEP ON DRIVING THIS GREAT VEHICLE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE IT TO ANOTHER DEALER (MELLOY HONDA) HERE IN NM IF THE RECALL IS STILL HONORED. AT THE MOMENT MY CAR IS JUST PARKED AT HOME. LIKE I SAID IT IS HARD TO STEER WHEN I DRIVE IT.
