TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN HESITATING. WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO MOVE FORWARD. IN ADDITION, THE CHECK ENGINE AND AIR BAG WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED AND THE STEERING WHEEL MADE AN ABNORMAL NOISE. UPON INVESTIGATION, THE CONTACT ASSOCIATED THE FAILURE WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 12V222000 (STEERING) AND NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 11V395000 (POWER TRAIN). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE CONTACT CALLED BRAMAN HONDA OF PALM BEACH (LOCATED AT 5200 LAKE WORTH RD, GREENACRES, FL 33463, (561) 790-8570) AND NOTIFIED THEM OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 142,894.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2007 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE TRAVELING THROUGH AN INTERSECTION, A VEHICLE RAN A RED LIGHT AND CRASHED INTO THE PASSENGER DOOR OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. THE CONTACT AND HER PASSENGER WERE SLIGHTLY INJURED WITH BURNS FROM THE AIR BAGS, BUT DID NOT RECEIVE MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT CONTACTED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED BY THE CONTACT'S INSURANCE COMPANY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 250,000. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN.
I WAS DRIVING ON I95 AT 10:00 PM ON MONDAY, OCT. 8, 2018 WHEN I HEARD A LOUD BANG. THE RIGHT SIDE AIRBAG HAD SPONTANEOUSLY DEPLOYED. THERE WAS NO COLLISION, NO IMPACT, NO OTHER DAMAGE. FORTUNATELY, THERE WERE NO PASSENGERS IN THE CAR AT THE TIME.
ONE DAY I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY COMING FROM MY DADS HOUSE AND IT WAS RAINING THAT DAY AND AS I WAS DRIVING I HIT A LIL POT HOLE ON THE HIGHWAY AND MY AIRBAGS WENT OFF AND MY CAR WAS NOT HIT OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT AND I PULLED OVER AND CALL THE POLICE AND AS I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH THEM I WENT TO MOVE MY CAR OVER SOME MORE OFF THE HIGHWAY AND MY CAR WAS FEELING LIKE IT DIDNT WANT TO GO AND THE CAR DOSENT EVEN HAVE 100,000 MILES ON IT AND I THE PHOTOS I SENT YOU YOU DONT SEE ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE BODY OF THE CAR OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT

THE CONTACT ADDED POWER STEERING FLUID TO THE RESERVOIR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT POWER STEERING FLUID WAS LEAKING ONTO THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER, AND THE POWER STEERING HOSE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO JOHN EAGLE HONDA OF HOUSTON (18787 NORTHWEST FWY, HOUSTON, TX 77065, (866) 495-7073) WHO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 12V222000 (STEERING). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 192,867.

THEIR IS A LEAK ON SIDE CURTAIN AIRBAG ON THE PASSENGER SIDE AT THE FRONT. IT LEAKS WHEN IT RAINS. THEIR HAS TO BE RECALL ON THIS VEHICLE.
LEAKING POWER STEERING FLUID FROM HIGH PRESSURE HOSE AND ALSO FROM POWER STEERING PUMP ONTO CADILLAC CONVERTER CAUSING SMOKE AND POSSIBLE POTENTIAL FIRE.
TAKATA RECALL MY 2007 HONDA ACCORD AIRBAG LIGHT HAS BEEN ON FOR THE PAST 3 WEEKS, IT STAYS, ON THE WHOLE TIME I'M DRIVING. SOMEONE WAS FATALLY INJURED BY THE SHRAPNEL A COUPLE WEEKS AGO WHEN THE AIRBAG DEPLOYED, THIS MAKE ME EXTREMELY NERVOUS. I'M NOT SURE WHAT MY NEXT STEP SHOULD BE. THIS IS THE ONLY VEHICLE THAT I HAVE. I PAID THIS CAR OFF LAST YEAR. I CANNOT AFFORD ANOTHER CAR PAYMENT OR A RENTAL CAR AT THIS TIME. IF SOMEONE COULD GET BACK TO ME AND WITH INFORMATION AND OR SUGGESTIONS AS TO WHAT I SHOULD DO. I DID SUBMIT A CLAIM FOR THE TAKATA CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT BUT I'M NOT SURE HOW LONG I WILL HAVE TO WAIT BEFORE I WILL KNOW THE OUTCOME. BUZZING SOUND IN THE IGNITION SWITCH WHEN THE KEY IS TURNED TO THE START POSITION AND CAR DOES NOT START. CAR IS OFF AND STATIONARY. THIS HAPPENS SPORADICALLY SINCE I HAD PURCHASED THE CAR IN 2016. I DID READ ABOUT A RECALL ABOUT THIS WITH HONDA'S AND TOYOTA'S.
TAKATA RECALL. I HAVE A V6 2007 4DR HONDA ACCORD EXL. ALL HONDA ACCORDS FOR MODEL YEAR 2007 THAT HAVE A 4 CYCLINDER ENGINES HAVE THE AIR BAG RECALL, BUT MY VIN WHICH IS A V6 IS NOT ON THE RECALL LIST. I WONDER WHY THAT IS THE CASE. THE AIRBAG WHETHER FOR AN IN-LINE 4 CYCLINDER VS V6 SHOULD VIRTUALLY BE THE SAME, SO IT BEGS THE QUESTION OF WHY ISN'T MY VIN ON THE RECALL LIST?
I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 40 MILES PER HOUR WHEN I LOST CONTROL OF MY STEERING WHEEL, I COULDN'T CONTROL IT, THE CAR SLID TO THE ONCOMING TRAFFIC WHERE I HIT A ONCOMING CAR, MY AIR BAG DEPLOYED I HAD A SEAT BELT, WHICH THE BOTH DID MORE DAMAGE TO MY CHEST THEN THE ACCIDENT ITSELF. MY CAR IS CONSIDERED TOTALLED.
MY SON AND HIS FRIEND WERE BOTH WEARING THEIR SEATBELTS AND THEY RAN THE LIGHT ON YELLOW SINCE IT WAS NOT SAFE TO STOP BECAUSE OF THE SPEED HE WAS GOING. WHICH ANYTHING ABOVE 35 MAKES IT UNSAFE. AND OF COURSE THE PERSON TOOK OFF BEING CARELESS HERSELF. AND OF COURSE AN ACCIDENT OCCURRED, BUT THE HONDA AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOYED AND THE SEATBELTS BECAME LOOSE SO BOTH MY SON & HIS FRIEND HAD TO BRACE THEMSELVES FROM THE IMPACT OF THE ACCIDENT. BECAUSE THE SEATBELTS BECAME LOOSE AND NOW THEY DON'T WORK AT ALL AND THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON. AS IF THE AIRBAGS WERE SUPPOSE TO DEPLOYED AND NEVER DID. *TR

THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MCCOLL MOTORS LLC (3251 US-401, MCCOLL, SC 29570, (843) 523-5262), BUT THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 200,000.
TAKATA RECALL-MY DRIVER & PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAGS WERE REPLACED DUE TO RECALL. AS I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 1-2 WEEKS AGO, MY AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON FOR NO REASON. I HAD NOBODY IN THE CAR WITH ME AND THE DASH STATED MY PASSENGER AIRBAG WAS OFF. I ASSUME IT STAYS OFF UNLESS I HAVE A PASSENGER WEIGHING X AMOUNT OF LBS. CONCERNED.
THIS OCCURRED WHILE THE CAR WAS STILL IN MOTION. WHEN I TRY TO PRESS THE BRAKES TO SLOW DOWN, THE CAR CONTINUES TO ACCELERATE WHILE MAKING A LOUD REVVING SOUND. THIS OCCURS ABOUT TWICE WHILE I AM DRIVING. IT IS AS IF THE CAR DOES NOT WANT TO SLOW DOWN AT TIMES.
I WAS TRAVELING ON HWY 5 IN LANCASTER SC AT 60 MPH AT NIGHT WHEN A LOUD NOISE THAT SOUNDED LIKE A HUGE TREE LIMB OR SOMETHING BIG AND HEAVY FELL ON TOP OF MY CAR. I HAVE A SUN ROOF IN MY CAR. I THEN HEARD SOUNDS OF SOMETHING SLIDING OVER THE TOP OF MY CAR ALL THE WAY DOWN THE BACK WINDSHIELD AND OFF. I SLOWED MY CAR. AFTER A FEW MINUTES TO GATHER MYSELF (THIS FRIGHTENED ME VERY MUCH) I PICKED SPEED UP AGAIN AND THE SOUND HIT AGAIN. SCARED ME ALL OVER AGAIN. NO CARS IN FRONT OF ME AND ONE ABOUT 4 CAR LENGTHS BEHIND ME. THE CAR BEHIND ME DID NOT SEEM TO BE HAVING ANY TROUBLE. I THOUGH THE OBJECT THAT HIT MY CAR MAY HAVE CAUSED THE CAR BEHIND ME PROBLEMS TOO, BUT THEY SEEMED FINE. REMEMBER IT WAS NIGHT AND DARK. THERE WAS NO WHERE TO PULL OVER ON THIS HIGHWAY. I FINALLY GOT HOME AND GOT OUT AND LOOKED AT MY CAR. THE SUN ROOF HAD A BIG 2 FOOT LONG HOLE IN IT. IT WAS ABOUT 5 INCHES WIDE. IT WAS SHATTERED. AFTER RESEARCHING ONLINE, I HAVE COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT THE SUN ROOF EXPLODED. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY CLAIM TO NEVER HAVE HEARD OF THIS BEFORE. IT IS ONLINE. I HAVE FILE THIS WITH MY AUTO INSURANCE AND PAY A DEDUCTIBLE. I DO NOT HAVE THIS MONEY. THE DEALERSHIP SHOULD RECALL THESE AND REPAIR THEM. THIS HAPPENS TO THE OLDER CARS. IT HAPPENS WHEN THE SPEED IS AROUND 55 MPH AND OVER. PLEASE HELP.
FRONT AXLE BROKE WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY AND FRONT PASSENGER WHEEL WAS RIPPED OFF AND FLEW BEHIND CAR. LOST CONTROL AND HIT A GUARDRAIL. ACCORD WAS THE EX-L VERSION AND DID NOT HAVE A SCRATCH ON IT. CAR HAD BARELY OVER 100,000 MILES ON IT. NO ONE HURT BUT CAR WAS TOTAL LOSS.

THE CONTACT HAD AN INDEPENDENT TECHNICIAN REPLACE THE FUEL CAP, BUT THE ENGINE INDICATOR WAS STILL ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT DROVE THE VEHICLE TO A DIFFERENT DEALER (GILLMAN HONDA, 10595 W SAM HOUSTON PKWY S, HOUSTON, TX 77099) WHERE THE TECHNICIAN INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER WAS REPLACED IN 2014. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THERE WERE NO RECALLS ASSOCIATED WITH THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 142,136.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 128,000.
PASSENGER AIRBAG LIGHT FLICKERING ON AND OFF, AFTER SOME TIME DRIVING STAYS LIT ON OFF UNDER PASSENGER AIRBAG SIGNAL. THE CAR WAS IN MOTION ON A CITY STREET FOR MORE THAN 10 MINUTES.
WHEN I FRIST BROUGHT THIS CAR THE AIR BAGS WHERE NOT WORKING. I WAS INFORM BY MACCO PAINT SHOP IN 2015 THAT THE AIR BAGS HAD A RECALLED. I ALSO CALLED HONDA CORPORATION OFFICE IN ORDER TO BE COMPENSATED FOR THE ACCIDENTS I HAD SINCE I BROUGHT THE CAR IN MAY 8 2010, HONDA REFUSE TO HONOR MY REQUEST. I ALSO HAD CAR REPAIRS THAT DIDN'T PASS SMOG. I NEVER RECEIVE A NOTICE THAT HONDA HAD A RECALLED ON AIRBAG UNTIL 2017 THEY STARTED SENDING UPS LETTERS TO TAKE THE CAR IN FOR REPAIRS.I AM A 63 YEAR OLD WOMEN WITH MENTAL AND PHYSICAL PROBLEMS. IN NOVEMBER 2017 THE COMPANY SINCE A LETTER IN REGARDS OF A LAW SUIT AGAINST HONDA. I WENT ONLINE TO FILE BEFORE THE DEAD LINE , WHICH IS JANUARY 08 2018. I ALSO REQUEST FORMS BUT I FEEL THEY DIDN'T GET THEM. I CONCERN I WILL NOT GET MY REFUND. HONDA CORPORATED OFFICE HAS ALL MY INFORMATION AND ALL THE 7 ACCIDENT I OCCUR.
ON DECEMBER 4, 2017 I WAS TRAVELING THE POSTED SPEED LIMIT ON INTERSTATE 195 MARYLAND WHEN MY TIRE BROKE AWAY FROM THE AXLE. I LOST CONTROL OF THE CAR AND SKID ACROSS THE HIGHWAY AND SLAMMBED INTO A GUARD RAIL. I HAD JUST REPAIRED/REPLACED BOTH LOWER CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS ON THAT SAME WHEEL NOT TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE ACCIDENT WITH ALIGNMENT AND NEW BRAKES ALL AROUND. I WAS FORTUNATE THAT I DID NOT HIT ANYONE AND NO ONE HIT ME OR THE RESULT WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH WORSE. THE CAR WAS TOTALED.

-THE SWITCH THAT CONTROL THE SIDE MIRRORS NO LONGER WORK -THE KEY FOB NO LONGER WORK WHEN LOCKING AND UNLOCKING THE VEHICLE. -THE BUMPER IS DETACHING; ZIP TIES ARE CURRENTLY BEING USED TO HOLD THE BUMPER IN PLACE. THE FENDER LINING DETACHED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION ON THE INTERSTATE. -CRUISE CONTROL NO LONGER WORK -
FOR THE SECOND TIME IN LESS THAN 2 YEARS A SPARK PLUG BLEW INTO THE ENGINE WHILE ATTEMPTING TO DRIVE, WE WERE GOING NO MORE THAN 50MPH WHEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE CAR COMPLETELY JUST SHUT DOWN. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT CUT ON . HAVE TAKEN IT TO A NEARBY HONDA DEALERSHIP AND HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT THE SPARK PLUG FLEW OUT OF PLACE AND THE ENGINE WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED. UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS THE SECOND INCIDENT WHERE THIS HAS HAPPENED. LAST YEAR IN 2016 THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED.

THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE FROM THE DRIVEWAY INTO THE STREET DUE TO A LEAK UNDER THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. UPON INSPECTING UNDER THE HOOD, THE CONTACT NOTICED FLAMES. THE POWER STEERING HOSE CAUGHT FIRE. THE FIRE EXTINGUISHED ITSELF, BUT MAY HAVE DAMAGED OTHER COMPONENTS NEAR THE PART. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INSPECTED AND DIAGNOSED BY A DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 12V222000 (STEERING), BUT THE CONTACT DID NOT RECEIVE A NOTIFICATION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE AND TO ADDRESS THE RECALL REPAIR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
TAKATA AIRBAG. MY CAR'S PASSENGER AIRBAG IS OFF.
MY MODULE SYSTEM IS NOT FUNCTIONING CORRECTLY ANYMORE. I GIT IN MY CAR ON 08-15-2017 AND MY AC WAS NO LONGER WORKING. IT HAS COMPLETELY STOP BLOWING. I HAVE HEARD OF THIS HAPPENING TO ANOTHER PERSON. CAN YOU SUGGEST WHAT CAN BE DONE.
WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH, THE FRONT BALL JOINT AND AXLE BROKE AND ENDED UP ON THE GROUND.
LAST YEAR I WAS DRIVING WHEN MY BALL JOINT BROKE. IF I WAS GOING HIGH SPEEDS MY KIDS AND I WOULD'VE BEEN IN A BAD ACCIDENT. STEERING WHEEL IS BECOMING INCREASINGLY DIFFICULT TO TURN. ONCE TURNED THE WHEELS DO NOT REENTER THEMSELVES AS THEY SHOULD. MANUAL INTERVENTION IS REQUIRED TO RECENTER THE STEERING. ALL OTHER VARIABLES CHECKED (TIRES, AIR PRESSURE, ETC.) AND VERIFIED AS CORRECT. THIS OCCURS AT ALL SPEEDS, SLOW TO HIGHWAY.

MY CAR GETS STUCK IN PARK IT LOCKS I TOKE IT BACK TO WHERE I'M BUYING IT FROM AND THEY GAVE ME A RUN AROUND I HAVE TO TAKE THE KEY AND STICK IT IN THE LOCK HOLE WHERE YOU LOCK THE SHIFT TO IN LOCK IT AND IT JUMPS WHILE YOU TAKE IT OUT OF GEAR THE YOUNG MAN TOLD ME NOT TO PARK IT ON A HILL FOR IT MY JUMP OUT OF PARK BUT IT LOCKS IT PARK I HAVE TO UNLOCK IT THEN BUT IT IN N IN ORDER TO PUT IN IT DRIVE OR REVERE THE DEALERSHIP SAYS IT NOT UNDER WARRANTY BUT I FOUND OUT THAT IT IS UNDER WARRANTY BECAUSE IT COMES FROM THE MOTOR SO WHAT'S MY NEXT STEP INTO FIXING THIS PROBLEM AND I'M STILL PAYING FOR THIS CAR JUST A YEAR IN AND HAVE 2 MORE YEARS PAYING ON THIS CAR SECOND HONDA FROM THE SAME DEALERSHIP HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE OTHER HONDA HELP PLEASE
THE SIDE DOOR TRIM KEEPS COMING OUT OF TRACK.
TAKATA RECALL AIR BAG. LIGHT MALFUCTION, LIGHT GOES OFF AND ON CONSTANLY AND I HAVE ATAKATA AIR BAG. NOT SAFE
UNINTENDED ACCELERATION WHILE BRAKING. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO MY WIFE ON A NUMBER OF OCCASSIONS WHEN APPROACHING A STOP SIGN OR RED LIGHT. THID HAS ALSO HAPPENED TO ME A FEW TIMES - TWICE IN THE PAST WEEK.
TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNED A 2007 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH AND ACCELERATING TO GO THROUGH A GREEN LIGHT, A CRASH OCCURRED. ANOTHER VEHICLE ATTEMPTING TO MAKE A LEFT WITHOUT YIELDING CRASHED INTO THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE, AND THEN SPUN AROUND AND CRASHED INTO THE DRIVER'S SIDE OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. THE AIR BAG IN THE STEERING WHEEL DEPLOYED WITH FORCE, INJURING THE CHEST CAVITY OF THE CONTACT AND CAUSED MINOR BRUISING AND SCRATCHES FROM THE FORCE OF THE AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT. ALL OF THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. THE SEAT BELT FULLY RESTRAINED THE CONTACT UPON IMPACT. THE CONTACT RECEIVED MEDICAL TREATMENT. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE INSURANCE COMPANY TOWED THE VEHICLE TO A REPAIR FACILITY WHERE IT WAS DEEMED DESTROYED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED BY A DEALER. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 16V178000 (AIR BAGS), 15V370000 (AIR BAGS), AND 15V320000 (AIR BAGS). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE CRASH MONTHS LATER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE. *BF CONSUMER STATED AIR BAG DEPLOYED AND HIT CONSUMER IN THE CHEST WHICH CAUSED A BRUISE AND A SWELLING AND A PAINFUL FEELING IS STILL ON HIS CHEST. THE CAR STOPS MOVING EVEN THOUGH IT'S TURNED ON. IN PARK IT STARTED ROLLING. NO MATTER WHAT GEAR ITS IN IT DID NOT MOVE WHEN MY FOOT WAS ON THE GAS. I ALSO HAVE A POWER STEERING LEAK. BOTH WHICH ARE A PART OF A RECALL SO I DON'T KNOW WHY MY CAR ISN'T ON THIS LIST.
REAR WINDSHIELD SHATTERED. CAR WAS PARKED AND WHEN DRIVER SIDE DOOR WAS CLOSED THE REAR WINDSHIELD JUST SHATTERED INTO PIECES.
02/09/17 2007 HONDA ACCORD TRAVELING ON SNOW COVERED ROAD DURING SNOW STORM. DELIVERY VEHICLE AHEAD OF ACCORD STOPS, ACCORD DRIVER IS UNABLE TO STOP AND STRIKES TELEPHONE POLE HEAD-ON, DEAD CENTER. DRIVER SUSTAINS NON-LIFE THREATENING INJURIES. LIBERTY MUTUAL INS. DECLARES ACCORD A TOTAL LOSS. BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG INFLATORS WERE REPLACED ON 03/16/2016. NON OF THE AIR BAGS IN THE ACCORD WERE DEPLOYED. ON 03/01/17 CASE MANAGER AT HONDA OF NORTH AMERICA STATED "...THE AIR BAGS WERE NOT DESIGNED TO DEPLOY IN THIS TYPE OF CRASH." HONDA NA CASE #05732797

THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE AIR BAG INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTO SHOP WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED, BUT THE CONTACT COULD NOT PROVIDE THE DIAGNOSIS INFORMATION. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE CONTACT CALLED HONDA OF NEW ROCHELLE AT (888) 905-3767 (LOCATED AT 25 E MAIN ST, NEW ROCHELLE, NY 10801) WHERE AN APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. MY DRIVERS SEAT MOVES BACK AND FORTH WHEN BRAKING/APPLYING GAS PEDAL. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN. I ALMOST ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME BECAUSE OF THIS CONSTANT MOTION WHEN DRIVING. MY MECHANIC DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS PROBLEM AND HE ALSO CONSULTED A HONDA DEALERSHIP AND THEY COULD NOT HELP. VERY UNHAPPY WITH HONDA. SEEMS THEY'RE DISCONCERNED WITH THIS IMPORTANT SAFETY ISSUE. MY TWO KIDS ARE NOW BANNED FROM DRIVING MY CAR UNTIL WE GET ANOTHER CAR. I LOVE HONDA'S BUT I REFUSE TO PUT UP WITH THIS. I'M CURRENTLY LOOKING AT OTHER CAR MANUFACTURERS.
PASSENGER WINDOW AND REAR WINDOWS STOP WORKING AT THE SAME TIME.
I HAD RETURNED HOME FROM CHRISTMAS SHOPPING AT 9 IN THE EVENING ON 12/10/16. I DROVE UP MY DRIVEWAY PUT MY CAR IN PARK, PRESSED THE AUTOMATIC GARAGE DOOR OPENER WHICH IS ON MY VISOR AND THE DOOR OPENED BUT MY GARAGE LIGHT DID NOT COME ON. I LEFT MY HEADLIGHTS ON FOR THIS REASON AND THE ENGINE ON. I WENT. OUT AND EMPTIED THE BACK SEAT OF ALL THE CHRISTMAS PACKAGES AND WALKED IN THE HOUSE THROUGH THE GARAGE. I WENT TO THE FRONT DOOR TO BRING IN A BOX FROM UPS AND THEN WENT TO THE GARAGE AND WAS SHOCKED TO FIND MY CAR IN THERE CRUSHING MY WASHING MACHINE. ALL OF THIS IN A SPAN OF NO MORE THAN 3 MINUTES. THE CAR WENT IN STRAIGHT SO THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE STRUCTURE TO MY SINGLE CAR GARAGE. IF MY WASHER DIDN'T STOP IT, IT WOULD HAVE GONE THROUGH THE HOUSE. I HAD A $700 SPEED QUEEN WASHER THAT WAS ONLY 3 YEARS OLD. I CHECKED ONLINE TO SEE IF MY CAR HAD EVER BEEN RECALLED FOR THIS ISSUE AND FOUND A NHTSA CAMPAIGN #11V39500 ANNOUNCED ON 08/04/16 INVOLVING 1,512,107 VEHICLES. I CALLED THE SERVICE DEPT OF HONDA OF OCALA WITH MY COMPLAINT AND NECESSARY INFORMATION INCLUDING VIN # AND THEY NEVER RETURNED MY CALL. I CALLED HONDA CORP. AT 1-800-999-1099 AND SPOKE TO OLIVIA. SHE INFORMED ME THAT MY VIN # WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL, ASKED MY IF I HAD REPORTED THIS TO MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND WOULD I GIVE HER THE NAME OF MY INSURANCE COMPANY. SHE SAID THIS WAS A MATTER FOR THE ACCIDENT DIVISION. I DID NOT HAVE AN ACCIDENT. SHE SAID I SHOULD RECEIVE A CALL FROM THE ACCIDENT DIVISION.. I BOUGHT THIS CAR USED ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO FROM HONDA OF OCALA AND IT IS ALMOST PAID FOR AND I CAN NOT AFFORD TO TRADE IT IN.
