THE WARNING LIGHT ON THE DASHBOARD PANEL IS WARNING THAT THE PASSENGER AIRBAG AS DEPLOYED. AT THE SAME TIME THE "FASTEN SEATBELT" WARNING STOPPED WORKING AND THE SEAL AROUND THE PASSENGER WINDOW IS LOOSE. COINCIDENTALLY, A RELATIVE ALSO HAS A 2008 HONDA ACCORD AND THE EXACT SAME THINGS ARE HAPPENING. ACCORDING TO MANY INTERNET ENTRIES, THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING TO MANY 2008 HONDA ACCORDS. I CANNOT FIND INFORMATION ON A RECALL. IT IS A SAFETY HAZARD, BECAUSE SOME OWNERS HAVE REPORTED THE AIRBAG DEPLOYING WHILE DRIVING. *TR
SOMETIMES MY CAR MAKES A GRINDING NOISE WHEN I TURN THE KEY TO START IT. I TOOK MY CAR TWICE TO THE METRO HONDA DEALER IN MONTCLAIR, CA; BUT EVEN THOUGH I HAVE THE EXTENDED GUARANTEE, THEY REFUSE TO CHECK MY CAR. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO. I DID SOME RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET, AND I FOUND OUT THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM; AND SOME OF THEM HAD REPLACED THE VTC ACTUATOR, AND THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED. I MENTIONED THIS TO THE MAINTENANCE EXPERTS AT METRO HONDA, BUT THEY STILL DO NOT CARE. MY CONCERN IS THAT THIS IS A SITUATION THAT IS NOT ON A RECALL LIST. WHAT SHOULD I DO? *TR
CAR CUT OFF WHILE IN STORE FOR FIVE MINUTES WAS TOLD THAT IF YOU LEAVE KEYS IN IGNITION WHILE OFF IT DRAINS THE BATTERY. NO CAR IN MY LIFE THAT EVER HAPPENED AFTER LEAVING THE RADIO IN THE CAR ON AND DRAINED THE BATTERY. *TR HAD A PROBLEM WITHIN 3 MONTHS OF BUYING A 2008 HONDA. CAR CUT OFF AND WOULDN'T START. AND IT DID IT AGAIN LAST NIGHT TOOK IT IN BEFORE AND THE FIRST TIME I TOOK IT IN BATTERY WAS FINE AND THEY CHECK THE BATTERY TODAY AND THEY SAID IT WAS NO GOOD BUT IT HAPPENED A TOTAL OF 4 TIMES AND THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE CAR AND IT HAPPENED TO OTHER PEOPLE AND WHICH SHOULDN'T HAPPENED CUT OFF LAST NIGHT AND NO KEY IN THE IGNITION AND BATTERY DIED. SPOKE TO [XXX] STORE MANAGER AND SPOKE TO SERVICE MANAGER AND REFUSE TO CHANGE THE BATTERY. ALL THEY DID WAS CHARGE UP BATTERY. CAUSE THEY WANTED ME TO PURCHASE A BATTERY FOR 159.00 WHICH THERE IS A PROBLEM. BECAUSE THERE WAS A PROBLEM FEW MONTHS AFTER I BOUGHT THE CAR. AND BROUGHT IN FOR SAME THING NOW LESS THAN A YEAR. HONDA TOLD ME THAT IF YOU LEAVE KEY IN CAR THAT THE CAR STILL IS DRAWING POWER EVEN THOUGH KEY IS OFF. I KID YOU NOT MY MOM WAS IN THE CAR FOR FIVE MINS AND BATTERY DIED. HONDA OF ROANOKE RAPIDS DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DOING WHAT IS RIGHT TO SATISFY THE CUSTOMER. BATTERY WAS GOING BAD BEFORE. I WILL NEVER BUY A CAR AGAIN FROM THEM. AND I HAVE THE POWER TRAIN WARRANTY AND AMERICAN HONDA FORCED ME TO GET IT AND WONT COVER SQUAT. I WAS FORCED TO TAKE IT BY AMERICAN HONDA OR ELSE THEY WOULD APPROVE MY LOAN. SRS INDICATOR LIGHT CAME ON THE DASHBOARD WHILE DRIVING. TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A LOCAL HONDA DEALER AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO PERFORM ANY DIAGNOSTIC AS THE SRS UNIT HAS FAILED AND WAS NOT COMMUNICATING WITH THE SYSTEM. I HAD TO PAY $482 TO REPLACE THE SRS UNIT. ALTHOUGH THE VEHICLE IS OUT OF WARRANTY, IT HAS LESS THAN 36,000 MILES ON IT AND THE SRS UNIT REPLACEMENT SHOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED BY HONDA. *JS....UPDATED 05-27-15 *BF
I BOUGHT THIS CAR PRE OWNED AT 15K THE BACK BRAKE WENT OUT ON THIS CAR AFTER 1YEAR AT 24K I REPLACE BRAKE MYSELF I WAS CURIOUS WHY WOULD A BACK BRAKE WEAR OUT SO FAST ON DOING ONLINE LOOKUP I FOUND NUMEROUS OWNERS HAD THE SAME PROBLEM SO I CALLED HONDA REGIONAL OFFICE AND I GIVEN A REFUND FOR THE EXPENSE. NOW LAST YEAR JUNE I NOTICE COLD RATTLE START ON MY ENGINE AND NOW IS PROGRESSIVELY GETTING LOUDER. I DID A LOOK UP ONLINE AND MY MECHANIC SAID IT VTC ( VARIABLE TIMING CONTROL ) ACTUATOR WAS FOUND TO BE DEFECTIVE. I THINK HONDA SHOULD REPLACE THIS SINCE MY CAR NOW HAS 80K MILES I MIGHT BE OUT OF WARRANTY. *TR
I NOTICED MY CAR WAS MAKING A STRANGE NOISE WHEN I FIRST STARTED IT UP. I TOOK IT TO THE HONDA DEALERSHIP IN ROANOKE VIRGINIA, AND THEY TOLD ME I WAS RUNNING THE CAR WITHOUT OIL. THEY FILLED IT UP FOR ME, AND CHANGE THE OIL FILTER. NOT EVEN 3000 MILES LATER, THE CAR WAS MAKING THE SAME NOISE. I LOOKED UP ON THE INTERNET FORUMS AND FOUND THE OIL CONSUMPTION CONCERNS. I BROUGHT THIS UP TO THE SERVICE MANAGER AT THE ROANOKE DEALERSHIP, AND HE DISMISSED IT. HE SAID IT IS COMMON TO PUT A QUART OF OIL IN THE ACCORD ABOUT EVERY 1000 MILES. I AM IN SALES, AND I DRIVE ABOUT 900 MILES A WEEK. WHEN THIS WAS FIRST BROUGHT TO THE DEALERSHIPS ATTENTION, I WAS JUST OVER 40,000 MILES, AND I WAS STILL UNDER THE FACTORY WARRANTY. I REPEATEDLY BROUGHT THIS UP TO THE SAME SERVICE MANAGER, AND HE SAID HE CAN DO A CONSUMPTION TEST, BUT IT WILL TAKE MANY MILES TO COMPLETE. HE REASSURED ME THERE WAS NO PROBLEM. I BOUGHT THIS CAR BASED ON ITS REPUTATION OF BEING A LONG-LASTING VEHICLE WITH VERY FEW PROBLEMS. NOW KNOWING THE HONDA/THE ROANOKE DEALERSHIP IS LYING, MY TRUST IN HONDA HAS BEEN SHAKEN. *TR
IN MARCH 2012 I TOOK THE CAR TO A HONDA DEALER BECAUSE THE SRS LIGHT WAS ON. I WAS TOLD I NEEDED A BATTERY AND THAT SHOULD MAKE THE LIGHT GO OFF. I GOT A BATTERY ABOUT SIX MONTHS LATER AND THE LIGHT STAYED ON. I TOOK MY CAR BACK TO THE DEALER IN JULY 2013 AND THEY SAID THE SRS MODULE IS OUT AND WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE IF I WERE IN AN ACCIDENT THE AIRBAGS WOULD NOT DEPLOY. *TR
I WAS DRIVING THE CAR ON MY WAY ON 101 AND POWER STEERING GOT FAILED WHILE THE CAR WAS RUNNING ON 101. I WAS ABOUT TO HIT A CAR AFTER BUT SOME HOW I REALIZED THAT STEERING IS RESPONDING LATE FAILED AND I CONTROLLED THE CAR . I WAS WITH MY WIFE AND SON SO THANK TO GOD FOR SAVING ME ON THAT DAY. I WAS UNDER HONDA CARE WARRANTY SO THEY COVERED ALL REPAIR COST. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PASSENGER AIR BAGS DEPLOYED WHILE SHE WAS CLOSING THE FRONT PASSENGER DOOR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSIS. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE AIR BAG SENOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND THEY STATED THAT THEY WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 80,000.
SRS INDICATOR LIGHT ON DASHBOARD CAME ON AND SUBSEQUENTLY THE PASSENGER AIRBAG OFF INDICATOR ALSO CAME ON. VEHICLE TAKEN TO HONDA DEALER FOR SERVICE WHERE SRS CONTROL UNIT WAS DETERMINED TO BE INOPERATIVE. REPLACEMENT WAS AUTHORIZED AT A TOTAL COST OF 616.49. SIMILAR PREMATURE SRS CONTROL UNIT FAILURES FOR 2008 ACCORDS WERE NOTED ON THE NHTSA WEBSITE. *TR..UPDATED 05-27-15 *BF UPDATED 9/17/2015*JS
LOW OIL PRESSURE LIGHT CAME ON FOR A COUPLE OF SECONDS. AFTER A WEEK OF DRIVING AND STILL GETTING THE LOW PRESSURE LIGHT FROM TIME TO TIME WENT TO CHANGE THE OIL AND THE GUY TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS ALMOST NO OIL IN THE ENGINE. SINCE THAN I HAVE TO ADD A QUART OF OIL FOR EVERY 750 MILES DRIVEN. THAT WAS SINCE 2012... NOW I END UP POURING 4 TO 5 QUARTS BETWEEN OIL CHANGES (6000 MILES FULL SYNTHETIC OIL).
I PURCHASED MY CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED HONDA ACCORD 2008 4CY FROM FISCHER HONDA WITH CLOSE 52,000 MILES. I HAVE NOTICED THAT THE CAR'S OIL EMPTIES OUT BEFORE I AM DUE FOR MY REGULAR OIL CHANGES. THE CAR BEGINS TO MAKE STRANGE NOISES. I HAVE MENTIONED THIS TO TWO DEALERS AND THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT IS EXACTLY GOING ON. ONE DEALER TOLD ME THAT I PROBABLY PUT BAD GASOLINE IN MY CAR. UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION, I HAVE NOTICED THAT A LOT OF HONDA ACCORD 2008 OWNERS ARE HAVING THIS SAME ISSUE AND HONDA IS NOT REALLY DOING ANYTHING TO SOLVE THIS ISSUE. THEY ARE CURRENTLY DOING AN OIL CONSUMPTION TEST ON MY CAR. *JS
DEPARTING A PARKING LOT AT LOW SPEED, I MADE A TURN TO THE LEFT AND HEARD A LOUD RATTLE FROM THE ENGINE. I STOPPED AT THE SERVICE STATION UP THE ROAD AND CHECKED FOR OBVIOUS LOOSE PARTS. CHECKED THE OIL AND FOUND THAT THE LEVEL BARELY REGISTERED ON THE DIPSTICK, INDICATING APPROX. 2 QUARTS LOW. I ADDED OIL AND VERIFIED THAT THE LEVEL WAS FULL. AT NO TIME DID THE ENGINE OIL LIGHT ILLUMINATE. SINCE THAT TIME I HAVE HAD TO ADD ONE QUART OF OIL APPROXIMATELY EVERY 900 MILES. I NOTIFIED MY HONDA DEALER AND WAS ADVISED TO HAVE THEM PERFORM A SOFTWARE UPDATE. THE UPDATE WAS ACCOMPLISHED BUT THE RATE OF CONSUMPTION HAS NOT CHANGED. HONDA DEALER ADVISED ME THAT THIS RATE OF CONSUMPTION IS CONSIDERED NORMAL. CONSIDERING THAT THIS ENGINE HOLDS 4 QUARTS AND THAT THE AVERAGE OIL CHANGE INTERVAL IS 4,000 MILES (ACCORDING TO THE HONDA MAINTENANCE MINDER SOFTWARE), THIS MEANS THAT I AM REPLACING THE ENTIRE CONTENTS OF THE CRANKCASE BETWEEN EACH OIL CHANGE. I WAS THEN ADVISED THAT HONDA CAN PERFORM AN OIL CONSUMPTION CHECK THAT WOULD REQUIRE ME TO COME BACK TO THE DEALER EVERY 1,000 MILES (+/- 50) FOR APPROX. 1 YEAR. AFTER THAT TIME, HONDA WOULD DETERMINE, BASED ON THE RESULTS OF THE TESTS AND THE AGE/MILEAGE OF MY VEHICLE, WHETHER THEY WOULD TAKE ANY ACTION. THIS IS CLEARLY A DEFECT IN THE ENGINE, AS I CHANGE MY OIL WHEN INDICATED BY THE MAINTENANCE MINDER AND CAN PRODUCE ALL THE RECORDS TO PROVE THE CAR HAS BEEN SERVICED PROPERLY. I SEEK THE APPROPRIATE CORRECTION OF THIS PROBLEM BY HONDA. *TR
SUN VISOR WILL NO LONGER STAY UP. CREATES VISIBILITY PROBLEM
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 60 MPH THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE CONTACT WAS NOT ABLE TO TURN THE VEHICLE BACK ON AND THEN HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE INDEPENDENT MECHANIC COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THEY ALSO COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 52,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 54,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HAVING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE PERFORMED ON THE VEHICLE, HE WAS ADVISED THAT THE REAR BRAKE DRUMS WERE DEFECTIVE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE DRUMS WERE WEARING PREMATURELY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 20,800.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AS HE ATTEMPTED TO START THE VEHICLE, IT EXHIBITED AN ABNORMAL GRINDING NOISE AND THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THE FAILURE RECURRED WHENEVER THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED IN COLE WEATHER. THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 69,000.
2008 HONDA ACCORD EX L 4 CYL BURNS AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF OIL. GENERALLY I HAVE TO PUT IN A QUART OF OIL EVERY 1000 MILES. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP WHERE THEY UPDATED THE SOFTWARE, BUT THAT DID NOT FIX THE ISSUE. THERE IS ALSO A LOUD SOUND THAT COMES FROM THE ENGINE WHEN THE ENGINE IS STARTED. I USED TO ONLY HERE THE SOUND ON COLD ENGINE STARTS, BUT NOW IT MAKES THE SOUND EVERY TIME IT IS STARTED. *TR
2008 HONDA ACCORD ACCORDING TO REPAIR RECORDS HAS HAD THE FRONT BRAKES REPAIRED TWICE SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR 7 MONTHS AGO. BEING TOLD ALL 4 ROTORS ARE WARPED BUT IT IS NOT A SAFETY ISSUE. I ONLY NOTICED IT BECAUSE OF THE EXCESSIVE SHIMMERING AND SHAKING WHEN I APPLIED THE BRAKES. THE FIX WAS TO REFINISH THE ROTORS, BUT AT SOME POINT THIS OPTION WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE BECAUSE OF THE SPECS OF THE ROTOR SO THEN I WILL BE FORCED INTO REPLACING THEM AT AN APPROXIMATE COST OF $150 A ROTOR. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT ANY PART OF A SYSTEM DESIGNED TO STOP YOUR VEHICLE IS NOT A SAFETY ISSUE. *TR
I BOUGHT A NEW 2008 HONDA ACCORD EXL-6 VEHICLE. I HAVE 72,000 MILES ON IT, MOSTLY HIGHWAY DRIVING. I'VE HAD MY REAR BRAKES REPLACED TWICE. THE DEALER TRIED TO TELL ME 30,000 IS AVERAGE FOR BRAKES. ALSO HAD ALL MY SPARK PLUGS REPLACED. # 3 WENT BAD AND THEY SUGGESTED I REPLACE ALL OF THEM. AGAIN, TELLING ME 70,000 MILES IS AVERAGE FOR SPARK PLUG REPLACEMENT. I WAS CHARGED FULL PRICE FOR ALL WORK DONE, I'VE EVEN PAID FOR THE EXTENDED WARRANTY AND THAT DIDN'T COVER THE SPARK PLUGS EITHER. I WOULDN'T EVEN TAKE MY CAR TO THE HONDA DEALER BUT SINCE I FOOLISHLY PAID FOR THE EXTENDED WARRANTY, I'M AFRAID THAT WILL BECOME NULL AND VOID IF ANY OTHER MECHANIC TOUCHES MY CAR FOR ANY REASON. FIRST AND LAST HONDA I WILL EVER PURCHASE. I'D LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE IS ANYWAY I CAN FIND OUT IF I'M ENTITLED TO A REFUND FOR BRAKES & SPARK PLUGS. JUST SPENT ALMOST $600 HAVING THE TWO REPLACED. *JS
WITH THE CAR TURNED OFF THE DRIVER'S SIDE CURTAIN AIRBAG AND SEAT AIRBAG DEPLOYED AFTER I SHUT THE DOOR. I CAN SITE AT LEAST 30 POSTS ON NHTSA'S WEBSITE WHERE THIS HAS HAPPENED AND THERE IS CERTAIN TO BE THOUSANDS MORE. THIS IS A VERY EXPENSIVE FIX THAT NEITHER AMERICAN HONDA CO. NOR MOST INSURANCE COMPANIES WILL NOT FIX. THOSE WITH THE AIRBAG PROBLEM ARE NOW DRIVING AROUND WITH DEPLOYED AIRBAGS DUE TO A MANUFACTURER DEFECT THAT HONDA REFUSES TO FIX. I AM HOPING TO JOIN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST HONDA BECAUSE THEY HAVE IGNORED THIS PERSONAL SECURITY CONCERN. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE NHTSA TAKE A STANCE ON THIS. *TR

THE FAILURE WAS EXPERIENCED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE LOCAL MECHANIC PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC BUT WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE A FAILURE HOWEVER, THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED. THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED AND THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO LOSE POWER AND STALL SPORADICALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT FURTHER REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 60,000.

OVER THE COURSE OF 3000 MILES I HAD TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL 5 QUARTS OF OIL AND WHILE DRIVING THE HEADLIGHTS DIM INTERMITTENTLY. *TR
I HAD JUST BOUGHT A USED 2008 ACCORD,WHILE DRIVING AT 45-50 MPH AT NIGHT,I NOTICED THE HEADLIGHTS WOULD BLINK. AFTER SEVERAL TIMES,I GOT CURIOUS AND STARTED TIMING THE OCCURRENCE. THE LIGHTS WOULD BLINK EVERY 35 -45 SEC. THE HEAT WAS ON SINCE IT IS COLD IN NH IN JAN. I WHEN TO THE HONDA DEALERSHIP AND THEY ASKED IF THE HEAT WAS ON,AND TO TRY SHUTTING THE HEATER OFF TO SEE IF IT STOPPED, WHICH IT DID. MY CONCERN IS TRAFFIC AT INTERSECTING ROADS COULD ASSUME THAT I AM FLASHING THE LIGHTS TO LET THEM PROCEED. NOT TO MENTION THAT IT IS AGGRAVATING AND THIS IS THE FIRST VEHICLE THAT I HAVE OWNED IN OVER 40 YEARS OF DRIVING THAT HAS THIS PROBLEM. I SEE THAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME ISSUE BUT HONDA SAYS THAT IS THE WAY IT IS. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE IN THIS VEHICLE OR ANY OTHER VEHICLE IN THE 21ST CENTURY. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR ROUTINE SERVICE WHEN HE WAS TOLD THAT THE REAR BRAKES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 18,000.
I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF THIS HONDA ACCORD. AT 28,000 MILES, THE REAR BRAKE PADS ARE PREMATURELY WORN OUT. I WAS NOTIFIED OF THIS PROBLEM DURING ANNUAL STATE SAFETY INSPECTION. CONSUMER STATES THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, NO KEYS IN THE IGNITION, AND GEAR SHIFT IN PARK, WHEN IT ROLLED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED ONE MONTH PRIOR, THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN SERVICED FOR RECALL 11V395000. CERTIFIED 2008 HONDA ACCORD PURCHASED FROM IN GEORGIA. DRIVING ON I-85 AT 55-60MPH HEARD A LOUD EXPLOSION AND THEN HIT IN THE SIDE OF THE HEAD (AT HIGH SPEED) BY THE SIDE AIRBAG. I CALLED MY HONDA SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT JAY HONDA WHERE I BOUGHT MY CAR AND THEY SAID THIS WAS NORMAL FOR MY CAR AND THAT THERE IS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. I LOOKED FOR LEAKS ON THE PAVEMENT AROUND MY CAR AND THERE WAS NONE. THE ENGINE SHOWED NO SIGNS OF BURNING OIL OF ANY KIND. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT SAID THIS WAS NORMAL FOR THIS CAR AND THAT THERE WAS NOTHING AT ALL THAT THEY COULD DO.
08 HONDA ACCORD EX L 4 CYL BRAKES CONTINUOUSLY HAVE ISSUES WITH WEARING UNEVENLY. THE ISSUE SEEMS TO BE MORE PREVALENT IN THE REAR. THE LAST TIME I HAD THE BRAKES CHECKED AND "FIXED" I HAD TO TAKE THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP 3 TIMES BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT SEEM TO CORRECT THE ISSUE WITH VIBRATION OF THE CAR WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED. EVEN AFTER 3RD TIME GOING TO THE DEALERSHIP THERE WAS STILL A SLIGHT VIBRATION WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED. WHEN I SPOKE WITH THE SERVICE MANAGER ABOUT THE ISSUES WITH THE BRAKES, I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS KNOWN ISSUE, BUT THERE WAS NOTHING MORE THEY COULD DO TO FIX THE PROBLEM. *TR
AT NIGHT THE HEADLIGHTS DIM REPEATEDLY WHILE THE CAR IS AT A STOP. WHILE DRIVING THE HEADLIGHTS FLICKER OR BLINK EVERY 15-25 SECONDS WHILE THE AIR CONDITIONING IS OPERATING. THIS COULD APPEAR AS IF I AM FLASHING OTHER DRIVERS AND CAN BE CONSTRUED AS AN AGGRESSIVE ACT. I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT THIS CAR HAD I KNOWN ABOUT THIS DESIGN FLAW.
