2008 HONDA ACCORD EX-L, 4 CYL ENGINE. HEADLIGHTS CONSTANTLY BLINK (DIM) WHEN AC OR AUTOMATIC TEMP CONTROL IS ACTIVATED. LIGHTS DIM FOR ABOUT 4 SECONDS AND THEN RETURN TO NORMAL REGARDLESS OF SPEED. OTHER DRIVERS THINK THAT I AM SIGNALING THEM AND SOMETIMES BECOME VERY IRATE AND THREATENING. HONDA AND DEALER INDICATE THE PROBLEM IS NORMAL. SMALL ROAD DEBRIS CAN ENTER THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT OF A 2008 HONDA ACCORD THROUGH A VERY WIDE AIR DAM IN THE NOSE OF THE VEHICLE AND PUNCTURE THE AIR CONDITIONING CONDENSER. SUDDEN LOSS OF PRESSURE IN THE CONDENSER CAUSES VAPOR TO BE EMITTED FROM THE HVAC DUCTS INSIDE THE CAR CAUSING DRIVER DISTRACTION. THIS IS A DANGEROUS CONDITION AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. HONDA REPAIRED THE VEHICLE AT OWNER COST BUY DOES NOTHING TO PREVENT THE PROBLEM FROM RECURRING. *TR
I OWN A 08 HONDA ACCORD. WHEN I PUT IN REVERSE A HORRIBLE SCREECHING NOISE STARTED. IT WOULD CONTINUE WHEN I WOULD BRAKE ALSO. I TOOK IT TO A LOCAL SHOP TO LOOK AT IT. I ONLY HAVE 30K MILES SO FIGURED SOMETHING MINOR. THEY SAID IT WAS THE REAR BRAKE PADS! FRONT ONES WERE NEVER REPLACED AND IN GOOD CONDITION. 200.00 FOR NEW BRAKE PADS. CALLED THE LOCAL HONDA DEALER THEY SAID 250. I HAVE DONE NOTHING FURTHER. *TR
2008 HONDA ACCORD V6. I TOOK IT IN FOR PRE-MATURE REAR BRAKE WEAR AT 25,000. THE NEXT WEEK THE ENGINE SURGED AND I CRASHED INTO A CONCRETE BARRIER WHILE PARKING. *TR
2008 HONDA ACCORD. CONSUMER WRITES TO INFORM OF SEVERAL EXPERIENCES SUCH AS SUDDEN ACCELERATION WITH VEHICLE *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED ALL OF THE INCIDENTS HAPPENED WHILE TRYING TO SLOW THE VEHICLE DOWN TO A STOPPED POSITION AND HAVE OCCURRED IN PARKING LOTS, DRIVEWAYS AND IN TRAFFIC. THE CONSUMER STATED ON TWO OF THE SEVERAL OCCASIONS, THE CONSUMERS FATHER EXPERIENCED SUDDEN ACCELERATION WHILE PULLING INTO A RESIDENTIAL DRIVEWAY AND PULLING INTO A PARKING SPACE. THE INCIDENTS THE CONSUMER EXPERIENCED HAPPENED WHEN SHE ATTEMPTED TO MAKE A LEFT TURN AT AN INTERSECTION, PULLING INTO A PARKING SPOT, APPROACHING A STOP SIGN AT AN INTERSECTION AS WELL AS DRIVING BEHIND OTHER VEHICLES WHICH WERE SLOWING TO STOP AND TRYING TO EXIT A PARKING LOT. IN ALL CASES, THE CONSUMER AND HER FATHER REMOVED THEIR FEET FROM THE ACCELERATOR THEN PLACED IT ON THE BRAKE TO SLOW TO A STOP. HOWEVER, WHILE APPLYING THE BRAKES, THERE WAS A SOUND AND MOTION OF THE VEHICLE REVVING UP AND ACCELERATING, PROPELLING THE VEHICLE FORWARD AS IF IT WERE FIGHTING THE BRAKE PEDALS COMMAND STOP. SO FAR THE CONSUMER HAS BEEN ABLE TO CONTROL THE VEHICLE. *JB
MY 2008 HONDA ACCORD EXL HAS 60,000 MILES ON IT AND I HAVE JUST HAD TO REPLACE THE REAR BRAKES FOR THE SECOND TIME. ONCE AT 35,000 ONCE AT 60,000. I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY THREE DIFFERENT HONDA MANAGERS THAT HONDA KNOWS ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AND REFUSES TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE DESIGN OF THE SPRING THAT IS SUPPOSED TO SEPARATE THE PADS AFTER BRAKING DOES NOT PUSH THE PADS FAR ENOUGH TO CLEAR THE ROTORS. THIS NOT ONLY WEARS THE PADS MUCH TOO QUICKLY BUT ALSO MAKES THE ENGINE WORK HARDER AND HINDERS THE GAS MILEAGE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS EXHIBITING A GRINDING NOISE WHEN THE BRAKE WAS DEPRESSED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THE FAILURE WAS LOCATED AS THE REAR BRAKE PADS WEARING PREMATURELY. THE DEALER REPLACED THE BRAKE PADS TWICE, BUT THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE REAR BRAKE CONTINUED TO MAKE A GRINDING NOISE AND WEAR PREMATURELY. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE FRONT BRAKES WERE EXHIBITING A GRINDING NOISE, BUT THE DEALER POLISHED AND SCRAPED THE FRONT BRAKE PADS AND THE GRINDING NOISE WAS CORRECTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 28,096, AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 42,920.
MY 2008 HONDA ACCORD SEDAN WITH 15,000 MILES (4 CYL, 5 SP MANUAL, VIN# [XXX]) WAS AT THE SERVICE AT THE BOCH HONDA FOR OIL CHANGE. DURING THE SERVICE IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT REAR PADS AND ROTORS WERE WORN OUT COMPLETELY. 0% OF LIFE LEFT ON BOTH SIDES. HONDA OF AMERICA ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM AND WILL PAY ONLY FIRST $150 OF THE REPAIR. REPAIR COST IS $463. HOWEVER, HONDA IS PAYING 100% OF THE REPAIR IF CAR HAS LESS THAN 12,000 MILES. I AM AN OWNER OF A 2008 HONDA ACCORD EX V6 WITH 26K MILES. THE REAR BRAKE PADS ON THIS VEHICLE WEAR PREMATURELY. I CONTACTED BOTH THE DEALER AND AMERICAN HONDA CORPORATION BOTH OF WHICH TOLD ME THAT THIS WAS NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR AND THAT IN ORDER TO FIX THE BRAKES I WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPLACEMENT COST. THE COST ITSELF IS NOT MY CONCERN EVEN THOUGH I DID PAY ADDITIONAL OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE TO HAVE THE "PLATINUM" WARRANTY PROGRAM. MY CONCERN IS THAT THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND BEING THE MOTHER OF 2 YOUNG SMALL CHILDREN IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE THAT HONDA IS NOT STANDING BEHIND THE SAFETY OF THEIR VEHICLES. PROPERLY FUNCTIONING BRAKES IS NOT A AMENITY AS THEY ARE TREATING IT. THE INTERNET IS PLETHERED WITH INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE IN THE SAME POSITION AS I. I HAVE A 2008 HONDA ACCORD W/ 23K MILES ON IT. I'VE BEEN TOLD BY BOCH HONDA THAT THE REAR BRAKES ARE 80% GONE AND HONDA WILL ONLY PAY HALF. I HAVE A 2008 HONDA ACCORD EX-L I PICKED UP NEW IN THE FALL OF 2007. TO DATE I HAVE JUST OVER 30,000 MILES. TODAY, (4/12/10) I TOOK MY CAR TO MY LOCAL HONDA DEALERSHIP FOR AN OIL CHANGE. I WAS TOLD THAT MY REAR BRAKES WERE AT 5% AND REPAIR COST WOULD BE $330.00!!! I MENTIONED I PAID AN ADDITIONAL $2,200.00 FOR AN "EXTENDED WARRANTY "ON TOP OF THE $28,000.00 STICKER PRICE BACK IN 2007. TODAY I ASKED THE HONDA ADVISOR WHAT DOES MY $2,200.00 "EXTENDED WARRANTY" COVER? HE SAID NOTHING MECHANICAL. BY THIS POINT I DID NOT WANT TO ARGUE, BUT RATHER I PAID THE $38.13 FOR MY OIL CHANGE AND LEFT. ALSO WITH MY PREVIOUS OIL CHANGE MAYBE 3 MONTHS AGO WITH ABOUT 29,000 MILES I WAS ALSO TOLD MY REAR BRAKES WERE SOMEWHERE AROUND 15% AND I THINK THE HONDA DEALERSHIP QUOTED ME AROUND $300.00. I AM DEFINITELY A NAMED PARTY IN THE GIBBS LAWSUIT AS OF 12/17/09. I HAVE NOT PAID TO FIX MY REAR BRAKES YET. OTHER PROBLEMS I AM HAVING IS MY NAVIGATION FREEZES UP, I HAVE THIS RATTLING SOUND IN MY FRONT DRIVERS DOOR, MY FRONT PASSENGER DOOR SOUNDS LIKE IT IS NOT CLOSED ALL THE WAY BECAUSE I HEAR ROAD NOISE, AND TWICE NOW MY WIPERS HAVE CONTINUED TO STAY ON EVEN THOUGH I TURNED THEM OFF OR THE WIPERS WILL BE "DELAYED" EVEN THOUGH THE WIPERS ARE OFF, MY GLOVE BOX IS MISALIGNED ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE AND AT TIMES WHEN I AM PULLING INTO THE GARAGE WITH MY FOOT OFF OF THE GAS PEDAL, THE CAR WILL ACCELERATE FORWARD A LITTLE. I AM FINISHED WITH THIS CAR!!!! MY 2008 ACCORD IS MY 3RD ACCORD AND BY FAR THE MOST OBNOXIOUS LEMON I HAVE EVER OWNED. MY 1986 AND 2000 ACCORDS WERE MORE "HONDA" THAN MY 2008 ACCORD. 2008 HONDA ACCORD REAR BRAKES I JUST SPEND A LITTLE LESS THAN $500 REPLACING MY REAR BRAKES AND ROTORS ON MY 2008 ACCORD. IT IS A NEW CAR AND THE BRAKES SHOULD BE LASTING A LOT LONGER. *TR
MY WIFE WENT TO TURN ON THE AC LAST WEEK AND FOUND THAT IT WAS BLOWING HOT AIR. TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP TO GET IT FIXED AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE A/C CONDENSER DAMAGED FROM ROCK CHIP. I WAS SPEECHLESS TO FIND THAT SUCH DAMAGE WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY DUE TO A DESIGN FLAW WITH THE FRONT BUMPER, THERE WAS NO SCREEN/GRILL PROTECTING THE CONDENSER. DESIGN FLAW I SAY AND THEY SHOULD HONOR THE WARRANTY. VEHICLE HAD 31,326 MILES ON IT. *TR
I HAVE A 2008 HONDA ACCORD AT 48,000 MILES MAINT HAS BEEN DONE AS REQUIRED AND RECENTLY THE CAR HAS BEGUN SHUTTING OFF WHILE DRIVING STALLING THE ENGINE. IT IS QUITE SCARY BECAUSE TODAY WE WERE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND ALL OF A SUDDEN IT STOPPED. HONDA ACCORD 2008 MODEL SHOWS PREMATURE BRAKE WEAR OUT ON REAR BRAKES. MY CAR IS AT 29,000 MILES, AND THE BRAKE PADS ARE GONE, EVEN WEARING OUT THE METAL. I HEARD SOME INTERMITTENT SQUEAKING NOISE FROM A COUPLE MONTHS BACK, BUT WHEN I BROUGHT THE CAR INTO SERVICE, THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T HEAR ANY SOUND (I COULDN'T TOO DURING THE TEST DRIVE) AND IT WOULD BE BETTER TO JUST LEAVE THE CAR ALONE THEN START DISASSEMBLING THE CAR WHEN THERE MIGHT BE NOTHING WRONG. THEY ALSO SAID THAT A COMPOUND OF MOIST AND DUST COULD MAKE THE SQUEAKING NOISE OCCASIONALLY. A FEW MONTHS LATER, THE REAR SIDE STARTED MAKING A RUMBLING SOUND WHEN I HIT THE BREAKS. I BROUGHT THE CAR BACK TO THE SERVICE CENTER, AND THE SAID THE BRAKE PADS WERE GONE LEAVING METAL TO METAL CONTACT FOR THE BRAKES. THEY SAID THERE WAS A SENSOR THAT BROKE BUT HOW COULD I KNOW THE SQUEAKING SOUND WAS INDICATING TO REPLACE THE BRAKE PADS EVEN WHEN THE SERVICE GUY DIDN'T PICK IT UP? THEY SAY I HAVE TO PAY JUST UNDER $500 TO REPLACE EVERYTHING THAT WAS DAMAGED IN THE BRAKES, AND NO WARRANTY WOULD COVER IT. I DON'T THINK THIS IS A ONE-TIME THING, AND I FOUND A TON OF SIMILAR COMPLAINTS IN THE INTERNET. IT'S ALSO WEIRD THAT THE FRONT BRAKE PADS WERE FINE, WHEN THEY ARE USUALLY KNOWN TO BRAKE EARLIER. THIS IS A BRAKE PROBLEM, WHICH COULD POTENTIALLY LEAD TO SERIOUS ACCIDENTS. *TR
INITIAL REAR BRAKE SQUEALING AFTER OVER NIGHT SETTING OR USE TO PARKING LOTS, SQUEAL WOULD OCCUR IN REVERSE DIRECTION BRAKING, AS IF BRAKE WAS DRAGGING. AS TIME PROGRESSED A METAL TO METAL SOUND WAS NOTED AS IF SOME METAL PART HAD COME LOOSE AND WOULD DRAG OR RUB IN SLIGHT DIRECTIONAL PRESSURE CHANGES. APPLYING BRAKES WOULD TEMPORARILY SILENCE , BUT WOULD RETURN WHEN BRAKES WERE RELEASED. A SLIGHT PULLING SENSATION WAS NOTED TO EITHER RIGHT OR LEFT ALONG WITH A VIBRATION WHEN APPLYING BRAKES. REAR BRAKE ROTORS WERE RESURFACED AND PADS REPLACED AT A COST OF $214.00 PARTS AND LABOR. ADDITIONALLY, FRONT BRAKE ROTORS WERE RESURFACED AND PADS REPLACED AT A COST OF $133.00 PARTS AND LABOR. *TR
THE REAR BRAKES ON MY 2008 HONDA ACCORD ARE WEARING OUT FAR FASTER THAN SEEMS REASONABLE. HONDA'S SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM IS TO SIMPLY SAY IT'S NORMAL BRAKE WEAR ON THE VEHICLE AND THEN REQUIRE THAT THE ROTORS BE TURNED AND THE BRAKE PADS BE REPLACED, AFTER CHARGING AN ABSURD DIAGNOSTIC FEE. *TR
VEHICLE MILEAGE WAS 27,637. DATED: 05/25/2009. THE REAR BRAKES WHERE SQUEAKING WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL DEPRESSED. I TOOK THE DEALER. DEALER SAID THE REAR BRAKE PADS WERE WORN DOWN TO 3 MILLIMETERS. DEALER RESURFACE ROTOR AND REPLACED BRAKE PADS. THE BRAKE REPAIRED COST $194.39. NOW THE VEHICLE MILEAGE 47,955. DATE: 04/08/2010. THE BRAKE HAS SAME PROBLEM LIKE BEFORE. DEALER SAID BRAKES NEED TO REPAIR AGAIN AND COST $194.39. *TR
PREMATURE REAR BRAKE FAILURE I PURCHASED A NEW 2008 HONDA ACCORD V6 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION COUPE ON 8/2/08. I HAD THE CAR SERVICED ON 4/8/10 TO CHANGE THE OIL, ROTATE TIRES, AND A BRAKE INSPECTION. ON THIS DATE, THE CAR HAS 17,420 MILES ON IT. THE DEALER INFORMED ME THAT THE REAR BRAKES HAD REACHED THEIR SERVICE LIMIT AND HAD TO BE REPLACED IMMEDIATELY. THE DEALER REPORTED THAT THE FRONT BRAKES DID NOT NEED REPLACING AND HAD "9.0MM TO SENSOR" REMAINING. THE TOTAL COST OF REAR BRAKE REPLACEMENT AFTER A 15% PARTS AND LABOR DISCOUNT WAS APPLIED WAS $229.46. I WAS SHOCKED BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER DRIVEN THE CAR IN A MANNER THAT WOULD WARRANT PREMATURE BRAKE FAILURE. ON MY PREVIOUS 1999 HONDA ACCORD COUPE, I DID NOT HAVE TO REPLACE THE BRAKES UNTIL 65K MILES. THE DEALER EXPLAINED THAT HONDA IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AND THAT HONDA HAD ISSUED A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN FOR THE REAR BRAKES. I CONTACTED HONDA CUSTOMER SERVICE BY CALLING 1-800-999-1009 AND WAS TOLD THAT NO TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR REAR BRAKE PROBLEMS. I WAS GIVEN A REFERENCE NUMBER AND WAS ADVISED THAT A HONDA REPRESENTATIVE WOULD BE IN CONTACT WITH ME WITHIN 2 BUSINESS DAYS. BY CHANCE, I FOUND AN ARTICLE IN U.S. NEWS AND REPORTS DATED APRIL 8, 2010 "HONDA SETTLES LAWSUIT OVER ACCORD BRAKES." THE ARTICLE STATES THAT THE BRAKES OF 750K LATE MODELS OF ACCORD AND ACURA TSX ARE WEARING OUT TWICE AS FAST AS THEY SHOULD. THE ARTICLE ALSO STATES THAT THE NHTSA HAS RECEIVED 350 OWNER COMPLAINTS TO DATE. THERE IS NO MENTION THAT THE ROOT CAUSE OF THE PREMATURE BRAKE FAILURE HAS BEEN ADDRESSED. I AM REQUESTING THAT THE NHTSA INVESTIGATE TO DETERMINE IF THIS IS A BRAKE DISTRIBUTION ISSUE, DESIGN DEFECT, POOR QUALITY, OR ANY COMBINATION OF THE ABOVE. I AM DEEPLY CONCERNED ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THIS VEHICLE. *TR
I OWN A 2008 HONDA ACCORD. MY REAR BRAKES WERE WORN DOWN AND SQUEAKING, SO I BROUGHT MY CAR TO PACIFIC HONDA. PACIFIC HONDA INFORMED ME I WOULD BE LIABLE FOR THE REPAIR COST, SINCE IT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE CAR WARRANTY. FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 24,985 MILES AND REPAIR COST WAS $269.04. *TR
I HAD AN OIL CHANGE ON 3/12/10 AND WAS TOLD I WOULD NEED BRAKES AT MY NEXT OIL CHANGE IN APPROX. 6 MOS. IN LATE MARCH, MY CAR HAD A LOUD SCRAPING NOISE. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER ON 4/6/10 AND HAD TO HAVE MY REAR BRAKES REPLACED. I WAS GIVEN A 50% DISCOUNT ON THE REPAIR BUT THINK THAT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPAIRED UNDER MY EXTENDED WARRANTY. I HAVE FOUND ON THE INTERNET THAT THE 2008 HONDA ACCORD HAS THE MOST PROBLEMS WITH PREMATURE BRAKE WEAR. I ALSO HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE LEATHER SEATS PEELING. I HAVE ALSO FOUND THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE BOTH OF THESE ITEMS RECALLED. *TR
BRAKE PADS WORE OUT PREMATURELY FOR A SECOND TIME AFTER A YEAR OF BEING REPLACED. THERE'S NO REASON FOR THIS WHEN I'M DRIVING 80% OF THE TIME HIGHWAY WITH LITTLE BRAKING. REPARATION COST $200 AND IT IS NOT COVER UNDER WARRANTY. *TR

IN ORDER TO STOP THE FAILURE, THE CONTACT RELEASED THE BRAKES MOMENTARILY BEFORE DEPRESSING THEM. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED RANDOMLY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 45,000. UPDATED 5/7/12 *CN
WENT TO TURN ON MY AC LAST WEEKEND AND FOUND THAT IT WAS BLOWING HOT. TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP TO GET IT FIXED AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE PROBLEM WAS WITH THE AC CONDENSER. WAS TOLD THAT IN ALL LIKELIHOOD A STONE HAD BEEN PICKED UP FROM THE ROAD AND DONE THE DAMAGE TO THE CONDENSER. WAS DISMAYED TO FIND THAT SUCH DAMAGE WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY DESPITE IT COMING FROM A POSSIBLE DESIGN FLAW WITH THE CAR. *TR

THE MANUFACTURER INFORMED THE CONTACT ABOUT A CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT THAT WOULD ENABLE HIM TO RECEIVE A REFUND AND THE CONTACT MAILED IN THE NECESSARY FORMS AND WAS AWAITING A RESPONSE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT FURTHER REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 19,600.

I HAVE COMPLAINED TO HONDA NUMEROUS TIMES ABOUT THE BRAKES ON MY 2008 HONDA ACCORD. THE BRAKES WERE REPLACED WITHIN THE 1ST YEAR OF THE PURCHASE OF THIS NEW VEHICLE. MONTHS LATER, THEY TURNED THE ROTORS AFTER MY CONSTANT COMPLAINTS. THE BRAKES HAVE CONTINUED TO CAUSE PROBLEMS (SQUEEKING, ETC). I HAD THIS REPLACED TODAY BY A BRAKE COMPANY. THE INSIDE OF THE PADS WERE EXTREMELY WORN, AND THE CAR ONLY HAS 28,000 MILES. ANOTHER HONDA OWNER MADE ME AWARE THAT THEY WERE REPLACING THE REAR BRAKES ON 08 HONDA ACCORDS, SO I CALLED THEM AND THEY ARE REFUSING TO REIMBURSE ME AS THE BRAKES INSTALLED ARE NOT HONDA BRAKES. AROUND 4:45 P.M., THURSDAY, MARCH 11, 2010, I TOOK MY '08 HONDA ACCORD TO GOODSON HONDA I-45 NORTH, HOUSTON, TEXAS, BECAUSE AT APPROXIMATELY 30,000 MILES LOUD NOISES WAS COMING FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. IT APPEARED THAT I WAS HAVING SERIOUS BRAKE PROBLEMS. AFTER AN INQUIRY OF THE BRAKE'S QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE, THE SERVICE ADVISOR, CARL REED CONFIRMED THAT THE REAR BRAKE SHOES WOULD BE REPLACED WITH A BETTER QUALITY. HE INFORMED ME THAT HONDA'S CORPORATE OFFICE HAD SELECTED A NEW COMPANY THAT WOULD PROVIDE BETTER QUALITY, AND LONGER LIFE SPANS OF THEIR BRAKE SHOES AND PADS. IN ADDITION, HONDA'S TECHNICIAN HAD TO REPLACE THE FRONT BRAKE PADS AT APPROXIMATELY 20,000 MILES. THE QUALITIES OF THE BRAKE SYSTEM USING LOW QUALITY BRAKE PADS AND SHOES HAVE PROVEN TO BE A NUISANCE FOR OWNERS. WHEN I TURNED THE AIR CONDITION ON AFTER DEPARTING FROM GOODSON HONDA SERVICE DEPARTMENT, CONTAMINATED AIR FLOWING FROM THE VENTS INITIATED AN IMMEDIATE RESPIRATORY DISCOMFORT. AS IT FLOWED FROM THE AIR CONDITION VENTS, IT PERMEATED THE AIR WITH DANGEROUS NANOPARTICLES, LETHAL CHEMICALS, AND IRRITANT GASES COMPRESSED WITH TETRAFLUOROETHANE (R-134A).
