RATTLING NOISE COMING FROM ENGINE AFTER COLD START.
MY CAR IS BURNING 1.6 QUARTS OF OIL EVERY 1,600 MILES; THE LOW OIL PRESSURE SENSOR DOES NOT COME ONE. THE ONLY REASON I KNOW IT IS LOW IS DUE TO A NOISE THAT IT MAKES. HONDA DEALERSHIP SAYS IT IS NORMAL TO BURN 1.2 QUARTS OF OIL EVERY 1,200 MILES. THIS IS MY FIFTH HONDA AND I HAVE NEVER HAD A CAR DO THIS.

TAKATA RECALL: I CALLED MY HONDA DEALER IN SERRAMONTE, CA ON JULY 23, 2016 TO ORDER A REMEDY PART. I HAVE CALLED BACK MULTIPLE TIMES AND EACH TIME THEY SAY THEIR IS A DELAY AND THEY WILL CALL ME WHEN THEY HAVE THE PART. IT HAS NOW BEEN 11 WEEKS AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT CALLED TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO REPLACE THE PART.
TAKATA RECALL: I RECEIVED THE TAKATA AIR BAG RECALL NOTICE IN THE MAIL OVER 40 DAYS AFTER IT WAS ISSUED. THE PARTS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL FALL OF 2016. THE REMEDY HONDA PROVIDED IS TO "NOT HAVE A PASSENGER SIT IN THE FRONT SEAT." THIS IS INSANE. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? SOMEONE HAS BEEN SITING IN MY FRONT SEAT FOR THE PAST 40 DAYS BEFORE I RECEIVED THE RECALL AND NOW MY CAR IS BASICALLY INOPERABLE FOR PASSENGERS FOR THE NEXT 3-6 MONTHS? THIS IS NOT A SUFFICIENT REMEDY OF A PRODUCTS COMPLETED MISTAKE BY HONDA. WE SHOULD BE PROVIDED RENTAL CARS AND RENTAL REIMBURSEMENT UNTIL THE CARS ARE FIXED. I HAVE ALREADY CALLED HONDA'S CUSTOMER SUPPORT NUMBER AND WAS TOLD I WOULD GET A CALL BY A "CASE MANAGER" IN THREE DAYS. THIS IS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING AND COMPLETELY DANGEROUS. THE RECALL VERBATIM LISTS " METAL FRAGMENTS COULD PASS THROUGH THE AIRBAG CAUSING INJURY TO THE PASSENGER". WELL WHY WOULDN'T THOSE FRAGMENTS HURT SOMEONE IN THE BACKSEAT OR COME OVER TO THE DRIVER SIDE? HONDA IS BASICALLY SAYING IF YOU GET IN A CAR CRASH AND YOUR AIRBAG DEPLOYS YOU ARE GOING TO GET HURT. PLEASE HELP HONDA BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR THIS GRIEVANCE.
"TAKATA RECALL" MADE APPOINTMENT WITH DICK BROOKS ON JULY 26, 2016 IN WHICH THEY HAD TO ORDER THE PARTS AND THEY WOULD CONTACT ME FOR AN APPOINTMENT. OVER 60 DAYS STILL NO CONTACT WAS MADE FROM DICK BROOKS FOR RECALL.

THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
TAKATA RECALL? (NO MENTION OF THE AIRBAG MANUFACTURER WAS MADE IN THE RECALL LETTER). I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FROM HONDA IN JULY OF 2016. STATING THAT HONDA WILL SEND ME ANOTHER LETTER WHEN PARTS ARE AVAILABLE TO REPAIR MY VEHICLE. ALSO STATING THAT "HONDA SUGGESTS THAT YOU AVOID HAVING A PASSENGER SIT IN THE FRONT PASSENGER'S SEAT UNTIL THE RECALL REPAIR HAS BEEN PERFORMED". THIS WAS 6 MONTHS AGO. 6 MONTHS IS A LONG TIME TO OPERATE A VEHICLE WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO HAVE A PASSENGER IN THE FRONT SEAT. I DID STOP IN THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED THE CAR AND THEY ASSURED ME I WOULD BE CONTACTED WHEN PARTS BECAME AVAILABLE. I HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING BACK FROM HONDA.

TAKATA RECALL.THERE IS ALSO 2 MORE RECALLS REGARDING THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION.WHEN DRIVING THE CAR WANTS TO GET INTO STALL MODE FEELING LIKE IF ITS GOING TO STOP WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAYS OR STREETS.CALLED HONDA SEVERAL TIMES SINCE JULY SO FAR THEY HAVE NOT FIX THE PROBLEMS THEY KEEP ON GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO.DONT FEEL SAFE DRIVING.
IN JULY, 2016, I RECEIVED NOTICE NHTSA RECALL 16V-346 INFORMING ME OF A PROBLEM WITH THE AIRBAGS IN MY 2010 HONDA ACCORD. CALLED THE HONDA DEALERSHIP, GARDENA HONDA, WHERE I BOUGHT THE CAR AND GET IT SERVICED. THEY SAID THEY WOULD ORDER THE PART AND CALL ME WHEN IT ARRIVED. ON AUGUST 20TH AND AUGUST 27, I CALLED TO SEE IF PART WAS IN, AND DEALERSHIP CLAIMED IT WAS STILL ON ORDER AND THAT THEY WOULD CALL ME WHEN IT CAME IN. I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK. ON NOV 2, I CALLED AGAIN TO THE GARDENA HONDA DEALERSHIP. I SPOKE WITH KIM, WHO CLAIMED THERE WAS NO RECORD OF MY CAR BEING SERVICED THERE ( I HAVE BROUGHT IT 3-4 TIMES A YEAR SINCE PURCHASED IN 2010!) OR THE RECALLED PART BEING ORDERED. I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH THE MANAGER. SHE TOOK MY NAME AND PHONE NUMBER, BUT NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK. I AM CONCERNED FOR MY SAFETY AND THAT OF MY PASSENGERS DUE TO THE DEFECTIVE AIR BAGS I WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION FOR ANY INJURIES RESULTING FROM THE DEFECT, WHICH I HAVE TRIED FOR SEVERAL MONTHS TO REPAIR.

TAKATA INFLATOR, RECALL IN JULY 2016 AND NOW IT IS THE END OF DECEMBER 2016 AND THE REPLACEMENT PARTS STILL NOT AVAILABLE????????????
TAKATA RECALL. I RECEIVED RECALL INFORMATION JULY 2016 AND WAS TOLD NOT TO LET ANYONE RIDE IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. I WOULD BE NOTIFIED WHEN I COULD HAVE IT FIXED AND OVER 6 MONTHS LATER AND SEVERAL PHONE MESSAGES TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT, I HAVE NOT HAD A REPLY.
I WAS INJURED BY THE AIRBAG IN MY VEHICLE DURING A COLLISION ON 6/30/2016. I RECEIVED NOTICE OF THE DEFECT ON 7/19/16

THE ENGINE DEVELOPED A LOUD KNOCK DURING USE. THE KNOCK WAS VERY LOUD WHEN THE CAR WAS IDLING. IT IS A V6 AND HAD 104K MILES. HONDA DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AS THE FRONT CAMSHAFT LOBE FOR CYLINDER 6 HAD SIGNIFICANT WEAR AND THE CAMSHAFT HAD TO BE REPLACED. THEY WOULD NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY BY ADMITTING THE PART WAS DEFECTIVE. THE ONLY WAY 1 LOBE COULD DETERIORATE THAT MUCH WAS IF IT HAD NOT BEEN HEAT TREATED IN THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS
BURNING OIL EXCESSIVELY SINCE I HAVE HAD THE CAR. I NEVER GOT A RECALL NOTICE. HAVING TO ADD A QT OR BETTER A WEEK. JUNE 12 IT STALLED OUT ALL THE WAY HOME FROM WORK. THAT WAS A SUNDAY. JUST CHECKED THE OIL ON THURSDAY. OIL WAS OKAY IN THURSDAY. ON SUNDAY NO OIL TO SHOW ON DIPSTICK. BURNT AT LEAST 3 QTS IN LESS THAN 200 MILES! DRAINED WHAT LITTLE OIL WAS LEFT. CHANGED FILTER AND PUT NEW OIL IN. STILL WOULD NOT RUN. CHANGED SPARK PLUGS AND IT RAN BETTER BUT STILL HAS A SLIGHT MIS. DTC P0303. THE DEALERSHIP DELETED THE CODE AND SAID IT WASN'T A CODE IN THERE. WILL NOT DO ANYTHING. I HAD IT READ BEFORE I TOOK IT THERE AND HAVE A PICTURE OF IT. THE PAINT HAS BEEN CHIPPING OFF FOR OVER A YEAR, NOT WHERE ROCKS HIT. PLACES THAT ARE CURVED OR ROUNDED. EDGES OF THE ROOF OR FENDER. IT'S ONLY 6 YEARS OLD. HONDA DOESN'T STAND BY EITHER OF THESE ISSUES. NEVER AGAIN WILL I OWN A HONDA. THE CAR IS NOT LEAKING OIL AND IT IS NOT SMOKING. THE OIL IS GOING SOME PLACE. AND THAT IS CAUSING SERIOUS DAMAGE TO MY CAR. NOT TO MENTION THE DAMAGE THAT'S ALREADY BEEN CAUSED. A SOFTWARE UPDATE DOESN'T FIX THE DAMAGE THAT'S BEEN CAUSED ALREADY.

I BOUGHT MY 2010 HONDA ACCORD 2DR LX-S (5A) BRAND NEW IN AUGUST 2010 AND HAVE HAD SEVERAL ISSUES WITH IT SINCE - MOST OF WHICH HAS GOTTEN WORSE THAT I AM SCARED FOR MY SAFETY AND THOSE ON THE ROAD. - WHILE DRIVING ON BOTH HIGHWAY AND NON HIGHWAY SPEEDS RANGING FROM 15MPH - 60MPH SEVERE RUBBER SMELL AND GRINDING OF BRAKES-SOUNDED AS IF THE ENTIRE CAR WAS GOING TO FALL APART. WHEN I GOT HOME THE REAR BRAKES AND PADS WERE COMPLETELY RUSTED, BLACK AND WERE EXTREMELY HOT TO TOUCH. SCHAUMBURG DEALERSHIP SAID THE REAR PADS WEREN'T INSTALLED CORRECTLY. -EVERYDAY SINCE MILE 25,000 MY CAR WHEN STARTED AT ANY TIME HAS MADE A LARGE AND EXTREMELY LOUD CRANKING NOISE THAT LASTS ABOUT 2 SECONDS. SCHAUMBURG DEALERSHIP DAYS THIS IS RELATED TO THE I-VTEC 4-CYLINDER ENGINE BUT IT WAS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY. (THIS WAS AT 71,000 MILES). NO FUSS HAD BEEN MADE HAD THEY SAID IT IS COMPLETELY FINE WITH THE CRANKING NOISE. -WHEN TURNING AND DRIVING IN GENERAL THE CAR MAKES A WEIRD WHINING NOISE FROM 0MPH - 45MPH I'VE NOTICED THIS MANY TIMES AS WHEN TURNING LEFT OR RIGHT MY VEHICLE IAS EXTREMELY UNEVEN. THIS ALSO COULD RELATE TO THE STARTING WHEEL BEING 5 INCHES TO THE RIGHT WHEN THE WHEELS ARE STRAIGHT; I'VE PAID FOR MULTIPLE ALIGNMENTS AND IT CONTINUES TO HAPPEN. -LASTLY THE BREAKING SYSTEM IS TERRIBLE AND DOES NOT STOP CORRECTLY. I NOW HAVE TO SLOW DOWN ALMOST TO A COMPLETE STOP 500 FEET PRIOR SO THEY WORK; I HAVE TO DRIVE EXTREMELY SLOW AND BE VERY CAUTIOUS. *TR
SINCE OIL CHANGE IN APRIL 2016, NEEDED TO ADD 3 1/3 QTS OF OIL IN LESS THAN 4K MILES. NO OIL IS DRIPPING FROM CAR; NO INDICATOR LIGHT SHOWING OIL LOW. TOOK TO GET DIAGNOSIS OF PROBLEM AND NO PROBLEM WAS FOUND. CURRENTLY GETTING AN OIL CONSUMPTION TEST WITH HONDA SO THAT WE CAN GET EXTENDED WARRANTY.

EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION
THREE MONTHS AFTER I BOUGHT THE HONDA, THE TPMS LIGHT CAME ON, AND WHEN I CALLED THE SERVICE DEPT. AT THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I BOUGHT IT, THEY TOLD ME IT WAS THE CHANGE IN TEMPERATURE AND I SHOULD JUST "DRIVE AROUND THE BLOCK" UNTIL IT GOES OUT. IT DID GO OUT, BUT SEVEN MONTHS LATER THE TPMS LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN. I AGAIN CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID TO BRING IT IN, AND IT WOULD BE FIXED AT NO CHARGE. HOWEVER, WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN, I WAS TOLD I'D HAVE TO PAY $240 BECAUSE THE SENSOR WAS BAD. HAVING RESEARCHED THE ISSUE, I SEE THERE HAVE BEEN MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS SENSOR PROBLEM, THAT HONDA KNOWS ABOUT IT, THAT THEY LIED TO ME ABOUT "DRIVING AROUND THE BLOCK." THEN THEY LIED AGAIN, TELLING ME THEY WOULD FIX IT AT NO CHARGE.

TAKATA RECALL WE LIVE IN A HOT, HUMID STATE AND THE VEHICLE NEEDS ITS AIRBAG REPLACED. MY YOUNG DAUGHTER, SLIGHTLY BUILT, DRIVES THE VEHICLE AND SHE IS THE MOST AFFECTED TYPE SHOULD AN AIR BAG DISPERSE. IT'S UNACCEPTABLE THAT IT'S TAKING SO LONG FOR THE AIR BAG TO BE AVAILABLE. REMEDY: THE REMEDY PARTS NEEDED TO CONDUCT PASSENGER FRONTAL AIRBAG INFLATOR RECALLS WILL BECOME AVAILABLE IN LATE SUMMER/FALL OF 2016. HONDA WILL NOTIFY OWNERS IN AN INITIAL LETTER WITH A SECOND LETTER BEING MAILED WHEN PARTS ARE AVAILABLE. OWNERS MAY CONTACT HONDA AUTOMOBILE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT 1-888-234-2138.
