EXCESSIVE WIND NOISE COMING FROM WINDOWS. MAINLY NOTICED FROM DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE WINDOWS. MORE NOTICEABLE AT HIGHER SPEEDS. NO WATER LEAKS DETECTED DURING TIME OF RAIN OR DURING CAR WASH.
WITH 800 MILES ON THE VEHICLE, IT STALLED AT 65 MPH. TOOK IT TO THE DEALER, THEY COULD NOT RECREATE THE PROBLEM. I TOLD THEM I DID NOT WANT THE CAR BACK UNTIL THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED. AFTER 10 DAYS, WE RELUCTANTLY TOOK THE CAR BACK. THE DEALER SAID THEY REPORTED THE PROBLEM TO HONDA, BUT I REALLY DON'T KNOW IF THEY DID. THEY SAID "DRIVER ERROR". IN LATE NOVEMBER, WE RECEIVED A SAFETY RECALL LETTER SAYING OUR CAR MIGHT STALL AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. WE HAD THE SOFTWARE UPDATED, THE 4 DAYS LATER THE CAR STALLED AGAIN. THANKFULLY IN A PARKING LOT. IT TOOK 10 MINUTES TO GET IT STARTED. RIGHT AWAY, WE TOOK IT TO THE DEALER, REMOVED OUR LICENSE PLATES, AND INFORMED THE SERVICE MANAGER WE WOULD NOT DRIVE IT AGAIN. HE SAIS IT WAS "DRIVER ERROR". THE NEXT WEEK WE TRADED THE CAR FOR A NEW FORD FUSION. IT COST US SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS TO DO THIS, BUT WE SAID IT WASN'T WORTH THE CHANCE THAT IT WOULD STALL AGAIN. THE DEALER AND MAYBE HONDA DID NOT STEP UP TO THE PLATE ON THIS MATTER. THEY PUT IT ALL ON ME, THE CONSUMER. THANKS FOR LISTENING.
ON 6/25/2015 AT AROUND 9:15AM ON THE WAY TO TAKE MY GRANDFATHER TO A DOCTOR VISIT, AS MY MOTHER WAS EXITING GOLDENWEST ON THE 22 FREEWAY GOING WESTBOUND, EXPERIENCED AN INCIDENT WHERE THE RIGHT REAR TIRE BLEW OUT. THERE WAS NO CONSTRUCTION ON THE ROAD WHERE SHARP OBJECTS COULD HAVE CAUSED THIS TO OCCUR. I HAVE ALSO INSPECTED THE TIRE AND FOUND THAT THERE IS NO OTHER DAMAGE TO THE TREAD OF THE TIRE. WE BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A TIRE DEFECT. PHOTOS HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED TO THE TIRE SUPPLIER, CONTINENTAL TIRES, AS WELL AS HONDA CUSTOMER SERVICE THROUGH FACEBOOK AS I COULD NOT LOCATE THEIR EMAIL ADDRESS. WE HAVE CONTACTED AUTONATION HONDA IN COSTA MESA WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED AND WAS DIRECTED TO CONTACT THE TIRE SUPPLIER DIRECTLY, WHICH I BELIEVE IS QUITE RIDICULOUS THAT THEY WOULD NOT EVEN ASSIST US IN HANDLING THIS ISSUE WITH THE PRODUCT. MY MOTHER HAS NOT DRIVEN THE VEHICLE SINCE THE INCIDENT DUE TO THE LOSS OF CONFIDENCE IN THESE TIRES. SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO VISIT MY GRANDFATHER TODAY, WHO IS VERY VERY SICK WITH CANCER, BUT SHE DID NOT SINCE SHE IS AFRAID THAT ANOTHER TIRE WILL FAIL IN A SIMILAR FASHION. WE WERE LUCKY THAT IT OCCURRED NEAR WHERE SHE WAS EXITING AND ON A REAR WHEEL. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS AND IF IT WERE ON ONE OF THE FRONT WHEELS SHE USES TO STEER THE CAR.
WHEN YOU PRESSURE ON THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL TO POWER THE VEHICLE (LIKE PULLING OUT INTO TRAFFIC OR CHANGING LANES IN TRAFFIC, THE CAR STALLS AND PUT YOU AT RISK OF GETTING INTO AN ACCIDENT. IT HAPPENS SITTING AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT OR DRIVING 55 MPH AND TRYING TO CHANGE LANES. DOES NOT MATTER IF THE CAR IS WARM OR COLD, BUT OCCURS LESS WHEN COLD.
JUST MADE A LEFT TURN OUT OF MY DEVELOPMENT AND WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD WHEN THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. DUE TO THE SMOKE I COULD NO LONGER SEE AND THE CAR HIT A TREE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD AND THE REST OF THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED..... UPDATED 06/30/15 *BF
FOR A WEEK THE LIGHTS ON THE DASHBOARD SHOWED THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE ABS BRAKES & TRACTION DEVICE FLASHING AND SO WE TOOK IT IN TO HONDA TO HAVE THEM FIND OUT WHY. THE FIRST TIME IT WAS A SUNDAY AFTERNOON (MAY 31TH) AND THE FELLOW SAID IT WAS A COMPUTER GLITZ AND HE RESET THE COMPUTER. IN LESS THAN 1 DAY THE LIGHTS APPEARED AGAIN, SO WE MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THAT WEDNESDAY JUNE 3RD TO HAVE IT LOOKED AT; WHEN WE GOT THERE THEY SAID IT WOULD TAKE 2-3 HOURS TO CHECK ALL THE CODES, ETC. WE WERE NOT TOLD THIS WHEN WE MADE THE APPOINTMENT, SO WE DID NOT HAVE THE TIME THAT DAY. WE ASKED THE MAN THAT TALKED TO US (IT WAS MIKE OR DOUG) WOULD IT BE DANGEROUS TO DRIVE IT AND HE SAID "NO." ....JUST COMPUTER PROBLEMS. SO THE VERY NEXT DAY AS I WAS DRIVING TO WORK IN MY ONLY 4 MONTH OLD CAR AND WAS ON THIS 2 LANE ROAD THAT IS BY ALL INFO CAN BE DANGEROUS. I WAS IN A STRAIGHT WAY (WHICH IS A BLESSING) AND PRESSED ON THE BRAKE TO SLOW DOWN THE CAR AND IT PULLED TO THE RIGHT AND THE CAR SLAMMED AGAINST A 2 FOOT ASFAULT CURB CAUSING THE FRONT RIGHT TIRE TO BLOW AND SENDING MY CAR INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. THANK THE LORD NO CARS WERE COMING, BUT I HAD A HORRIBLE TIME STOPPING THE CAR AND BRINGING IT INTO A RIGHT LANE. THEN I HAD TO DRIVE ABOUT 1/2 MILE TO WHERE I COULD PULL OVER SAFELY (I WAS DRIVING ON THE RIM). WE KNEW RIGHT AWAY THAT SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR, AND TOLD THIS TO OUR INSURANCE WHEN WE CALLED IN THE CLAIM. THE LIGHTS WERE STILL FLASHING AFTER IT WAS REPAIRED! THE AUTO BODY MAN THEN TOOK THE CAR TO HONDA TO HAVE IT CHECKED, AND THEY FOUND OUT THAT THE WHEEL-BARING ON THE WHEEL WAS PUT IN BACKWARDS!! THIS CAUSED THE BRAKES TO FAIL! THEY MADE ME TAKE BACK THE SAME CAR WITH NO OTHER CHOICE (IT IS A LEASE). I JUST WANTED A NEW CAR THAT I WAS NOT CONCERNED TO DRIVE. LIBERTY MUTUAL (OUR COMPANY) IS GOING ON RECOVERY; THEY SAY GET A LAWYER!
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED WITH THE BRAKES ENGAGED, THERE WAS A LOSS OF POWER. SECONDS LATER, THE VEHICLE RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN WAS NOT ABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 500.
PURCHASED CAR IN MAY OF 2015. WENT ON A 10 HOUR TRIP AFTER OWNING 2 WEEKS, AFTER A FEW HOURS IT BECAME OBVIOUS THAT IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO ATTAIN A COMFORTABLE DRIVING POSITION. SEATS PULL BACK AND NECK, LEGS GO TO SLEEP. UPON ARRIVING AT OUR DESTINATION BOTH DRIVERS HAD HEADACHE AND SORE BACK AND LEGS. RECENTLY HAD CAR IN SHOP FOR MINOR BODY SHOP REPAIRS AND WAS PROVIDED A RENTAL CAR, DODGE CHALLENGER, WHAT A RELIEF ! GREAT SEATS. HAVE HAD THE CAR BACK NOW FOR 3 DAYS AND IMMEDIATELY FELT BACK DISCOMFORT SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING GETTING RID OF THIS CAR AFTER EIGHT MONTHS OF MISERY! MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!

THE CONTACT DID NOT SUSTAIN ANY INJURIES. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING 10 MPH, THE VEHICLE HESITATED TO ACCELERATE AND JERKED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN INSTALLED A SNAPSHOT TO RECORD THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE CVT TRANSMISSION FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 9,000.
THE 2015 HONDA VEHICLES HAVE A "GREEN" PRODUCT THAT CONSIST OF FUEL LINES AND VARIOUS WIRING THAT HAS A SOY BASED COMPOSITION. RODENTS ARE EATING THE FUEL LINES AND WIRING BECAUSE OF THE SOY BASED INGREDIENT. I KNOW OF NUMEROUS VEHICLES THAT HAVE LEAKED GASOLINE DUE TO THE DAMAGE CAUSED BY RODENTS. I BELIEVE THE PROBLEM INCLUDES NUMEROUS VEHICLE MAKES. I FEEL THAT OUR NEW HONDA IS A TIME BOMB IN TERMS OF POTENTIAL FIRES. WHERE CAN WE PARK OUR VEHICLE AND KNOW THAT IT IS SAFE FROM RODENTS. PLEASE TAKE MY COMMENTS SERIOUS! IT APPEARS THAT HONDA AMERICA HAS DEVELOPED TAPE TO WRAP THE SOY BASED PRODUCTS IN.....THEY KNOW THAT THEY HAVE A PROBLEM. MY CAR WAS REPAIRED THIS WEEK AND THE DEALERSHIP DID NOT WRAP THE SOY BASED PRODUCTS IN THE TAPE?????? WILL IT TAKE SOMEONE DYING TO GET THIS PROBLEM CORRECTED?
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO USE THE PUSH TO START FEATURE, THE VEHICLE MADE A GRINDING SOUND AND FAILED TO START. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO VAL STROUGH HONDA (LOCATED AT 1 HEITZINGER SEASIDE, CA 93955 831-899-2222) AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS RUNNING PROPERLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. ADDITIONALLY, THE VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A HEAD ON CRASH WITH AN UNKNOWN VEHICLE. THE THREE OCCUPANTS SUSTAINED UNKNOWN INJURIES AND WERE PROVIDED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE ALTERNATOR AND AIR BAGS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
THE SEATS, IN PARTICULAR THE HEAD RESTRAINTS (HEADRESTS), ARE OF A FAULTY DESIGN IN THAT THEY ARE TILTED TOO FAR FORWARD FOR ANY KIND OF COMFORT AND ARE NOT ADJUSTABLE. ONLY IF ONE DRIVES WHILE IN A SEMI-RECLINED POSITION IS THE HEADREST TOLERABLE. COMPARED TO A SAFER, MORE VERTICAL DRIVING POSITION, THIS SEMI-RECLINED (APPROX 25 DEGREES FROM VERTICAL) DRIVING POSITION HINDERS ONE'S ALERTNESS AND ABILITY TO SEE AND REACT TO ALL TRAFFIC SITUATIONS; THEREFORE THIS LACK OF HEADREST TILT OR FORE/AFT ADJUSTMENT IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE FOR THOSE PEOPLE NOT IDEALLY FITTING THE SEAT AS DESIGNED. I HAVE CONFIRMED THAT MY CAR IS AS IT WAS DESIGNED AND BECAUSE I BOUGHT IT NEW, I KNOW IT HAS NOT BEEN ALTERED AT ALL. THIS TYPE OF MALADJUSTMENT IS NOT READILY RECOGNIZABLE IN A BRIEF TEST DRIVE.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, A LOUD NOISE WAS HEARD COMING FROM ALL FOUR TIRES. THE FAILURE OCCURRED CONSTANTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED A TIRE ROTATION AND ALIGNMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED AND WORSENED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 500.
I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO. HONDA STATES THAT THE TEXT MESSAGES WILL DISPLAY ON THE HONDA DISPLAY AS A HANDS FREE USE. HOWEVER, I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO USE THIS FUNCTION. THE CAR DOESN'T ALLOW THIS FUNCTION. I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING FROM RESETTING MY PHONE AND HAVING THE MANUFACTURE OF THE PHONE CHECK IT OUT. HONDA, TELLS ME THAT THEY ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE IPHONE 6, WELL, I FEEL THAT HONDA SHOULD HAVE AN UPDATE ON THEIR SOFTWARE, SO THAT PEOPLE THAT HAVE IPHONES WILL BE ABLE TO USE THIS FEATURE THAT HONDA ADVERSTISES.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SIDE AIRBAG AND WIRES WERE ABLE TO BE ACCESSED BY A CHILD FROM THE REAR SEAT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THERE WAS NO FAILURE AND WAS UNABLE TO ALTER THE DESIGN OF THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT AT ANY SPEED, THE HEADLIGHTS APPEARED TO HAVE A BLACK SHADE THAT COVERED HALF OF THE LAMPS ON BOTH SIDES. THE CONTACT COULD NOT SEE THE ROAD OR ANY OBJECT ENTIRELY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS FUNCTIONING AS DESIGNED. HONDA ACCORD EX-L MODEL EQUIPPED WITH LANE WATCHER CAMERA, THIS MODEL COMES WITH STANDARD BACKUP CAMERA. IN SPECIFIC SITUATION THE CAMERA NEVER TURNS OFF CREATING HIGH DISTRACTION. HOW TO PRODUCE, TURN THE ENGINE ON ( FROM A COMPLETE STOP) PUT CAR INTO REVERSE THAT RUNS THE BACKUP CAMERA, IMMEDIATELY TURN THE RIGHT BLINKER ON ( WHICH USUALLY TURN THE LANE WATCHER CAMERA ON) THIS WILL CONFUSE THE SYSTEM AND RESULTING EVEN THOUGH YOU PUT THE CAR IN DRIVE MODE THE BACK CAMERA NEVER TURNS OF. ITS A SOFTWARE GLITCH. HAVE TAKEN TO THE DEALER. TECHNICIAN FROM DEALER SPOKE TO THE HONDA ENGINEERS, AS ADVISED BY THE HONDA ENGINEER TECHNICIAN DID SAME THING ON A BRAND NEW ACCORD 2015 AND RULED IT AS AN EXPECTED BEHAVIOR. AS A REGULAR DRIVER EVERY ONE HAS HABIT OF USING BLINKER WHETHER YOU ARE BACKING OR NOT. DUE TO THIS I CAN'T USE THE RIGHT BLINKER WHICH HAS POTENTIAL FOR ACCIDENT AND IF USE THIS YOU MAY END UP DRIVING CAR WITH BACK UP CAMERA KEEP ROLLING THIS IS AS DANGEROUS AS DRIVING WITH VIDEO PLAYING. *TR
ON MARCH 20, 2015, I LEASED A HONDA ACCORD FOR 3 YEARS FROM THE HONDA OF MENTOR AUTOMOBILE DEALERSHIP. IMMEDIATELY AFTER TAKING POSSESSION OF THE CAR, I NOTICED THE CAR HAD A VERY SIGNIFICANT VIBRATION PROBLEM. AFTER DRIVING THE CAR FOR A FEW DAYS, I TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND COMPLAINED ABOUT THE VIBRATION. THE SERVICE PERSONNEL I COMPLAINED TO ACTED LIKE THE CAR HAD NO VIBRATION PROBLEM AT ALL --- INTIMATING I WAS IMAGINING THINGS. AFTER DRIVING THE CAR A FEW DAYS MORE, I NOTICED THAT WHEN STOPPING AT A STOP LIGHT AND SHIFTING THE TRANSMISSION FROM DRIVE TO NEUTRAL, THE VIBRATION LESSENED CONSIDERABLY. MY CAR CAME EQUIPPED WITH A "CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (CVT)", SO I ASSUME THE VIBRATION IS MOST LIKELY RELATED TO THE TRANSMISSION (I HAVE NEVER BEEN AN AUTO MECHANIC). I HAVE HAD THE CAR FOR 22 MONTHS NOW AND, ALTHOUGH THE VIBRATION PROBLEM HAS LESSENED SOMEWHAT, IT IS CAUSING ME CONSIDERABLE CONSTERNATION BECAUSE I HAVE DECIDED TO PURCHASE THE CAR OUTRIGHT WHEN MY 3-YEAR-LEASE EXPIRES. I AM WORRIED THAT SHORTLY AFTER I PURCHASE THE CAR OUTRIGHT I WILL BE FACED WITH A HORRENDOUS BILL TO REPAIR/REPLACE THE CVT OR WHATEVER IT IS THAT IS CAUSING THE VIBRATION. QUESTION: IS THE NHTSA MAINTAINING A LOG OF COMPLAINTS REGARDING HONDA"S "VIBRATION COMPLAINTS" SIMILAR TO MINE? I AM 82 AND WITH MY MEAGER PENSION I CERTAINLY DO NOT WANT TO BE HIT WITH A HORRENDOUS REPAIR BILL IF THE VIBRATION PROBLEM IS DUE TO THE HONDA'S INCOMPETENCE. *TR
I PARKED MY CAR IN TARGET PARKING LOT.( THE CAR IS A MANUAL TRANSMISSION .) I PUT THE CAR IN NEUTRAL AND APPLIED THE PARKING BRAKE WHERE I DID HEAR A COUPLE OF CLICKS OF ENGAGEMENT OF BRAKE. ENTERED STORE , RETURNED APPROXIMATELY 10 MINUTES LATER AND MY CAR HAD ROLLED FROM ITS PARKED SPOT APPROXIMATELY 35 -40 FEET BACKWARDS INTO FRONT END OF ANOTHER STATIONARY, UNOCCUPIED VEHICLE. *TR

CAR WOULD NOT START. LIGHTS, RADIO, AIR CONDITION & LIGHT INDICATORS ALL WERE FUNCTIONAL. BATTERY TESTED AND WAS INFORMED WAS NOT THE PROBLEM. CAR WAS TOWED TO CLOSEST HONDA DEALER. *TR
I SEE THERE WAS A RECALL BECAUSE OF LOSS OF ENGINE POWER THAT MAY RESULT IN A VEHICLE STALL INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.IF THE ENGINE LEAKS OIL IN THE PROXIMITY OF A HOT ENGINE OR EXHAUST COMPONENTS ,THERE IS A RISK OF FIE. WELL THIS STALL OR NO POWER HAPPENS TO ME FREQUENTLY SINCE IVE OWN THE CAR. TOLD THEM ABOUT IT WHEN I WENT IN FOR OIL CHANGES BUT WAS NEVER WRITTEN DOWN OR LOOKED AT SO I JUST CHALKED IT UP AS DEALERSHIP DIDN'T WANT TO DEAL WITH IT SO I'D LET IT GO. IT SOUNDS AS IF THE FRONT WINDOWS ARE OPEN EVEN WHEN THE CAR IS NOT MOVING. BUT AT ESPECIALLY OVER 45 MPH, THE SOUND OF AIR WOOSHING INTO THE CABIN IS VERY PRONOUNCED. IT IS AT EAR LEVEL ON BOTH THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE. HONDA HAS REPLACED THE WINDOW RUN CHANNELS BUT THE NOISE IS STILL THERE. THEY SAY THIS IS NORMAL OPERATION BUT CANNOT BE. *JS
AFTER LEASING MY HONDA ACCORD SPORT, I TOOK IT FOR A DRIVE ON THE FREEWAY, AFTER REACHING THE SPEED OF ABOUT 55 MILES PER HOUR I STARTED HEARING A NOISE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR. FIRST I THOUGHT MY DOOR OR WINDOW WAS NOT FULLY CLOSED BUT THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. IT SOUNDS LIKE AIR IS LEAKING THROUGH THE DOOR ONCE I GET ABOVE 55 MPH. I RECHECKED THE SEALS ON THE DOORS, EVERYTHING SEEMS FINE BUT THE NOISE KEEPS HAPPENING. I MIGHT NEED TO GET THE DOOR SEALS ON THAT SIDE TO BE REPLACED. NOT SURE WHAT TO DO. *TR
ON FOUR DIFFERENT OCCASIONS, 2015 HONDA ACCORD SPORT'S GAS DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN EVEN AFTER 10-15 ATTEMPTS AT THE GAS STATION. ON TWO OCCASIONS, I WAS EVENTUALLY ABLE TO OPEN THE GAS DOOR AND FILL UP AT THE GAS STATION AND THE OTHER TWO TIMES, I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE TO MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIR (HONDA OF NEW ROCHELLE). ON BOTH OCCASIONS, I WAS SENT BACK WITHOUT SERVICE BEING DONE SINCE THE GAS DOOR OPENED AT THE DEALERSHIP. I WAS TOLD FROM THE SERVICE MANAGER THAT THE PROBLEM COULD BE TEMPERATURE DEPENDENT. *JS
THE AUTOMATIC DRIVER'S SEAT IN MY NEW 2015 ACCORD SPORT ONLY MOVES FORWARD AND BACK, UP AND DOWN (THE ENTIRE SEAT) AND LUMBAR ADJUSTMENT. MY ISSUE HOWEVER IS THAT THE SEAT BOTTOM WHERE IT MEETS THE SEAT BACK IS SUBSTANTIALLY LOWER THAN THE FRONT OF THE SEAT BOTTOM AND THEREFORE CUTS OFF THE CIRCULATION UNDER MY LEGS NO MATTER HOW LOW OR HIGH I ADJUST THE SEAT SINCE IT ONLY EITHER RISES OR LOWERS THE ENTIRE SEAT. AN HOUR IS ABOUT ALL I CAN HANDLE SITTING IN THESE SEATS WITHOUT FEELING THE RISK OF BLOOD CLOTS DUE TO LACK OF CIRCULATION TO MY LOWER LEGS. NOW I SEE ALL THESE COMPLAINTS FROM SHORTER DRIVERS STARTING YEARS AGO WHICH INDICATES THAT HONDA HAS KNOWN ABOUT THE ISSUE FOR YEARS AND DONE NOTHING. *TR

WHEN THE TEMPERATURE DROPS RAPIDLY BELOW FREEZING, THE WINDOW MOTORS FREEZE THE WINDOWS BECOME INOPERABLE. THIS OCCURRED WITH MY LEFT FRONT, RIGHT FRONT, AND LEFT REAR WINDOWS. THESE VARIOUS WINDOWS HAVE FROZEN 4 ADDITIONAL TIMES SINCE THE ORIGINAL INCIDENT. SOMETIMES IT HAS ONLY BEEN ONE OF THE 3 WINDOWS THAT HAS FROZEN SHUT; OTHER TIMES IT HAS BEEN ALL THREE.

AFTER TAKING DELIVERY OF OUR NEW HONDA ACCORD WE WERE DRIVING HOME ON THE FREEWAY WHEN IT BEGAN RAINING. IT WAS A STEADY TO HARD RAIN AND AS THE DRIVERS SIDE WIPER WOULD BRING THE WATER OVER TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE WINDSHIELD THE WATER WOULD BUILD UP AGAINST THE LEFT SIDE MOLDING AND BECOME TRAPPED THERE THEN IT WOULD GET PULLED BACK WITH THE WIPER ACROSS THE WINDSHIELD BLOCKING MY VISION TO MY LEFT. IT WOULD POOL ON THE LEFT SIDE BETWEEN THE MOLDING AND THE WIPER THEN COME BACK WITH THE WIPER BLADE AS IT RETURNED OBSCURING MY VISION. IT APPEARS TO BE A DESIGN FLAW THAT GIVES THE WATER NO WHERE TO EXIT OR DRAIN SO IT IS PULLED OR BLOWN BACK ONTO THE WINDSHIELD AS THE WIPER COMES BACK TO THE RIGHT. THERE IS NO ISSUE WITH THIS DURING A LIGHT RAIN. *TR
MY STOCK RADIO KEPT GOING ON AND OFF. IT WOULD JUST STOP PLAYING AND THEN START PLAYING ON IT'S OWN. LIKE AN ELECTRICAL SHORT. I WENT TO HONDA DEALERSHIP AFTER IT CONTINUED. THEY SAID IT WOULD COST ME $500 TO JUST LOOK AT IT NOT GUARANTEE THAT THEY COULD FIX IT. THE RADIO IS PART OF THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM KNOBS AND I DIDN'T WANT ANY FURTHER SHORTS TO OCCUR SINCE THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT PART OF THE SYSTEM. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER
