WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY NUMEROUS WARNING SIGNAL POPS UP, THE CAR PULLS TO THE LEFT AND RIGHT THEN SUDDENLY REDUCES ITS SPEED FROM 60 TO 35 AND EVENTUALLY TO A FULL STOP. THE CAR GAS PEDAL IS STIFF THE CAR WON'T MOVE, THIS IS THE 3 TIME IT HAPPENS WITH 7 DAYS. IT WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP, THEY STATED THAT IT'S FIXED. HOWEVER, THAT FAR FROM THE TRUTH. IN NEED OF SOME HELP, APPARANTLY THE 2019 HONDA ACCORD IS HAVING THIS ISSUE THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL BEFORE SOME IS KILLED.
NOISE IN SUSPENSION. CAR FEELIS LIKE IS HYDROPLANING WHEN DRIVING IN CORNERS OR CURVES. ALSO, WHEN DRIVING AND APPLYING GAS, CAR IS HESITATING.
TWO TIMES IN THE FIRST 5000 MILES I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR THE CAR HAS ON THE HIGHWAY BEEPED QUICKLY DE-ACCELERATED AND TRIED TO PULL MY STEERING WHEN THERE IS NO VEHICLE NEAR ME.
CAR WAS DRIVEN AND THEN PARKED IN A GARAGE BY ME. NOTHING HIT THE WINDSHIELD ON THIS OR ANY PREVIOUS DRIVE. WHEN THE CAR WAS LATER PULLED OUT OF THE GARAGE, IT HAD A 14" CRACK FROM THE UPPER PASSENGER SIDE CORNER TOWARDS THE CENTER OF THE WINDSHIELD. THIS CRACK HAPPENED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY AND INSIDE A PRIVATE, ENCLOSED GARAGE. THERE ARE NO CHIP OR SCRATCHES ON THE WINDSHIELD OTHER THAN THIS CRACK. SO FAR, I HAVE WAITED 14 DAYS FOR AMERICAN HONDA TO DECIDE IF THIS IS A MANUFACTURING/VEHICLE DEFECT OR AN ACCIDENT. NEITHER THE DEALERSHIP NOR I ARE ABLE TO GET A DECISION FROM AMERICAN HONDA.
ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS, I HAVE BEEN DRIVING AND MY CAR HAS APPLIED EMERGENCY BRAKES FOR NO REASON. NO VEHICLES IN MY IMMEDIATE AREA, INCLUDING IN FRONT OF ME. ON THE FIRST AND MAIN OCCASION, I WAS IN THE LEFT LANE TRAVELING AT ABOUT 75MPH. MY CAR FLASHED THE EMERGENCY "BRAKE" NOTIFICATION ON THE DRIVER INFORMATION SIDE OF THE DASHBOARD, AND AUTOMATICALLY APPLIED BRAKES BRINGING ME DOWN TO ABOUT 50-55 MPH BEFORE THE WARNING WENT AWAY, BRAKES WERE RELEASED AND EVERYTHING PROCEEDED AS NORMAL. CRUISE CONTROL WAS NOT ON AND THERE WERE NO CARS DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ME NOR NEXT TO ME. THE SUN WAS NOT RISING NOR SETTING, SO I DON'T BELIEVE THERE TO HAVE BEEN ANY SUN GLARE AFFECTING THE RADAR. I HAD THIS ISSUE AGAIN DRIVING AT NIGHT ON BACK ROADS. I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 35 MILES AN HOUR WHEN THE "BRAKE" NOTIFICATION APPEARED AND THE CAR AUTOMATICALLY APPLIED BRAKES, DESPITE NOTHING BEING IN MY LINE OF TRAVEL. AFTER THIS, I FIGURED OUT HOW TO DISABLE THE AUTOMATIC BRAKING AND CHANGE IT TO JUST A WARNING. THE THIRD TIME THIS HAPPENED WAS AGAIN DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. I DON'T RECALL MY SPEED, BUT NO ONE WAS IN FRONT OF ME. MY CAR FLASHED "BRAKE" FOR NO REASON BEFORE DISAPPEARING. I DO NORMALLY GET THE "BRAKE" NOTIFICATION WHEN I AM APPROACHING A SLOWED VEHICLE, BUT I DON'T GET AUTOMATIC BRAKING WITH THOSE AS I AM ALREADY APPLYING BRAKES. IN ALL THREE OF THESE CIRCUMSTANCES THERE HAS NOT BEEN ANYONE IN FRONT OF ME TO TRIGGER THE BRAKE WARNING.
The contact owns a 2019 Honda Accord. The contact stated while the vehicle was at a standstill at a traffic light, the vehicle started to vibrate abnormally. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer who was unable to repair the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired but was pending repairs. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 8,100.
THE REAR CALIPER DO NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY, BORNE ONE SIDE PADS
I WAS DRIVING DOWN FAIRFOREST ROAD IN SPARTANBURG. I TRIED TO SWIFTLY DRIVE AROUND A SMALL POTHOLE AND ONCE I DID I HIT AN EVEN BIGGER HOLE THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE EDGE OF THE ROAD BUT WAS MISSING. IT BLEW MY TWO RIGHT TIRES AND ALSO BENT THE ACTUAL METAL PART OF MY WHEEL. THE RECEIPT PICTURED WAS TO REPLACE MY RUBBER PART (TWO TIRES) AND THE TOWING EXPENSE. I'LL HAVE TO GET THE METAL PART REPLACED OR REPAIRED. I DON'T HAVE A QUOTE FOR THE REPAIR BUT TO REPLACE IT COMPLETELY WILL COST $500 MORE DOLLARS.
I PURCHASED A BRAND NEW 2019 HONDA ACCORD 2.0 TOURING IN AUGUST 2019 IN DECEMBER 2019 THE CAR STALLED OUT ON THE INTERSTATE, THEY REPLACED THE ENGINE TURBO, JUNE 2020 SAME THING HAPPENED NO REPAIRS PERFORMED STATED THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG OPEN A CLAIM WITH HONDA CUSTOMER SERVICE, ON AUGUST 24,2020 CAR STALLED OUT FOR THE 3RD TIME AGAIN WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE THIS IS BECOMING TO BE A REAL SAFETY CONCERN BECAUSE IT JUST HAPPENS VERY RANDOMLY. CALLED AGAIN TO HONDA TO REPORT THE ISSUE AND MY WARRANTY JUST ENDED TODAY BUT WHEN THE BREAKDOWN HAPPENED I WAS STILL IN WARRANTY AND I RECORDED THE EVENT THIS TIME. BREAKDOWN MILEAGE WAS 35,941 WHEN THIS HAPPENS THE CAR CHECK ENGINE LIGHT FLASHES AND THE CAR LOSES ALL POWER. THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS DURING HIGHWAY TRAVEL AND HIGHWAY SPEEDS OF 65MPH OR GREATER AFTER DRIVING THE VEHICLE FOR A PERIOD OF 2 OR MORE HOURS STRAIGHT. ONCE THE CAR IS STOPPED THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT GOES OFF AND ONCE THE VEHICLE IS RESTARTED IT DRIVES NORMAL AGAIN.*DT
THE COLLISION MITIGATION SYSTEM HAS A PROBLEM. HAD MY 2019 ACCORD IN FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND CMS HAS A PROBLEM. NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS BEFORE I HAD THE OIL CHANGED.
NEVER RECEIVE A RECALL FOR MY HONDA ACCORD 2019
I WAS ON THE FREEWAY GOING ABOUT 75MPH, WHEN SUDDENLY, MY VEHICLE'S CMBS SYSTEM ACTIVATED AND SLOWED DOWN SPEED TO 20MPH APPROX. WITHOUT HAVING ANY VEHICLES IN FRONT OR NEAR ME. LUCKILY, THE DRIVER BEHIND ME WAS NOT FOLLOWING CLOSE AND WAS ABLE TO AVOID A COLLISION BY SWITCHING LANES. I HAVE TAKEN MY VEHICLE TO THE DEALER TWICE, BUT NO ONE CAN FIND OR DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. MOREOVER, A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO, WHEN I WAS SWITCHING LANES, TOWARD THE RIGHT, THE LEFT WARNING LIGHT AND BEEPING NOISE CAME ON. SO FAR, I HAVE RECORDED NINE INCIDENTS WHEN THE VEHICLE SLOWED DOWN ON ITS OWN, AND FOUR OF THOSE WERE ON THE FREEWAY. I WAS FORCED TO DEACTIVATED ALL "SAFETY" SENSORS WHILE I AM DRIVING TO AVOID ANYMORE INCIDENTS OR ACCIDENTS.
WHILE I WAS ON THE WAY HOME FROM WORK, I WAITED FOR THE BROKEN YELLOW LINE TO PASS 2 CARS IN FRONT OF ME, WHEN I WAS MIDWAY THROUGH PASSING BOTH OF THEM, THE SECOND CAR IN LINE WANTED TO PASS THE CAR IN FRONT AS WELL BUT DID NOT LOOK TO SEE THAT I WAS ALREADY PASSING AND RIGHT BESIDE HIM, AND JERKED OVER AND HIT THE SIDE OF ME WHICH CAUSED ME THEN TO SPIN OUT OF CONTROL AND LAND IN A RAVINE. THE ENTIRE FRONT SIDE OF MY VEHICLE IS COMING OFF AND I WAS JERKED AROUND IN THE CAR, BUT NO AIRBAG IN THE BACKSEATS NOR DRIVER SEAT CAME OUT, AND MY DAUGHTERS CAR SEAT WAS FLIPPED TOWARDS THE WINDOW SO THANK GOD SHE WAS NOT IN THE VEHICLE WHEN THIS HAPPENED.
BACK IN JULY 4, 2020, THE DIGITAL PART OF MY INSTRUMENT PANEL, HEADS UP DISPLAY AND MY INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM CRASHED WHILE I WAS DRIVING. IT TOOK APPROXIMATELY 2 MINS TO COME BACK ON. TODAY, JULY 14,2020, THE AUDIO, PHONE AND NAVIGATION ON MY INSTRUMENT PANEL WEREN'T SHOWING UP WHEN I TURNED ON MY CAR. ALSO MY VOICE ASSIST DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE AS WELL AS THE NAVIGATION ON MY HEADS UP DISPLAY. I TRIED CALLING MY DEALERSHIP TO SET AN APPOINTMENT BUT THE EARLIEST TIME THEY CAN GIVE ME IS ON THE 24TH OF JULY.
I HAVE TRIED CONTACTING HONDA AND GOING TO THE DEALERSHIP MULTIPLE TIMES TO GET THIS TAKEN CARE OF BUT EVERYTHING IS PERFECT THEY SAY. JUST YESTERDAY THE CAR HIT THE BREAK ON IT'S OWN WHEN THE CAR ON THE OTHER SIDE WAS CLEARLY ON THE OTHER LANE THE CAR MADE A HORRIBLE SUDDEN STOP THAT CAUSED BRUISING TO MY NECK AND ALSO MY PASSENGER GOT HURT WITH EVERYTHING THAT FLUNG FROM THE BACKSEAT HE SAID THE TUG WAS TOO MUCH . WE THOUGHT SOMEONE HAD HIT ME . THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME THE CAR HAS DONE THIS I FEEL I GET CONSTANT TIRE POPS BECAUSE OF THIS CAR VEERS ME OFF INTO A LANE THAT ISN'T EVEN THERE. I HAVE WITNESSES THAT SAY I HAVE A LEMON CAR I ALWAYS SAY NO BUT THIS LAST INCIDENT WAS TOO MUCH FOR ME . ALSO THE CHARGER PORT NOT USB HAS NOT WORKED SINCE DAY ONE ANOTHER THING THEY SAID WAS WORKING AGAIN NOTHING . I WENT BACK AND THEY SAID I HAD NO WARRANTIES . I HAVE CALLED HONDA TRYING TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS AND GOING TO THE DEALER THEY SAID U SIGNED SO TAKE CARE OF IT . AT THIS POINT I AM IN THE PROCESS OF PURCHASING A NEW VEHICLE CASH AND I AM NOT EVEN 1% INTERSD IN KEEPING THIS CAR . IF I HAVE TO RETURN VOLUNTARILY I WILL HAVE TO . I HAVE BEEN PATIENT BUT IT'S ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS THAT I WAS PUT INTO THIS VEHICLE BEING A SUPPOSEDLY UPGRADE ? FROM MY 2017 HONDA COUPE V6 . THIS CAR NEEDS A RECALL ON LANE DEPARTURE , SENSORS , ELECTRICAL IT IS NOT A CAR I FEEL SAFE IN . I DO NOT TRUST TO LET IT DRIVE ON IT'S OWN AND FOR GOOD REASON . WHAT AM I PAYING FOR THEN ? I WOULD HAVE CRASHED INTO A CAR BY NOW IF I TRUSTED IT . I HAVE PROOF OF THE THREE TIRES I HAVE HAD TO GET IN THE PAST THEEE MONTHS AND I DON'T DRIVE MUCH AT ALL 9K MILES IN A WHOLE YEAR . PICS ON BOTTOM SHOW HOW THE DAMAGE COMES FROM THE SIDES DUE TO THE CAR GOING STRAIGHT THEN MAKING SUDDEN TURNS THAT HIT CURBS . THE SENSORS SEEM TO BE GETTING WORSE INSTEAD OF BETTER .
07/06/20 WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT DUE TO THE PLASTIC GAS PEDAL SNAPPING OFF AND BECOMING LODGED BEHIND THE BRAKE PEDAL PREVENTING ADEQUATE STOPPING THAT RESULTED IN ME REAR ENDING ANOTHER VEHICLE. MAX SPEED REACHED ON THE FREEWAY BEFORE COLLISION WAS 65 MPH. TRYING TO BRAKE WAS NOT SMOOTH AND I HAD TO PRESS DOWN EXTREMELY HARD IN ORDER FOR THE BRAKING SYSTEM TO RESPOND AND STILL ENDED UP COLLIDING WITH THE OTHER VEHICLE AT A HIGHER RATE OF SPEED THAN THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN WHEN PAYING ATTENTION TO SURROUNDING TRAFFIC, EVEN WITH A CAR LENGTH DISTANCE INFRONT OF ME AT THE START OF BREAKING. IT IS TYPICAL OF THE BRAKING SYSTEM TO ENGAGE WHEN "DETECTING" CLOSE PROXIMITY TO ANOTHER OBJECT OR VEHICLE BUT, ON MANY OCCASIONS THERE WAS NO ONE THERE; HOWEVER, IN THE CASE OF TODAYS ACCIDENT COLLISION MITIGATION WAS NOT RESPONSIVE. TIRE ROTATION PERFORMED AT HONDA ON 6/29/20 WITH REPORTS THAT BRAKE LINES, FLUIDS, AND PADS WERE UP TO PAR HOWEVER THIS IS MOST CERTAINLY NOT THE CASE. THERE IS CURRENTLY A RECALL THAT HAS NOT MADE ITS WAY TO CONSUMERS FOR THE FUEL PUMP IN THIS CAR THAT TOOK ME SO DIGGING TO FIND. INITIATED 5,28,2020 BUT, WILL NOT GO IN EFFECT UNTIL 7,22,2020. I COULD HAVE LOST MY LIFE TODAY! SUCH A SCARY SITUATION TO BE IN.

The contact stated that while driving approximately 40 MPH, the Forward Collision-Avoidance Emergency Automatic Braking suddenly activated, causing the vehicle to abruptly stop in the middle of the road. During the failure, the brake light was displayed. The contact indicated that no other vehicle or object was present nearby to cause the Forward Collision-Avoidance system to be activated. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 30,000.

"COLLISION MITIGATION BRAKING SYSTEM PROBLEM. SEE YOUR DEALER." WARNING HAS APPEARED SEVEN TIMES IN THE 4,300 MILES I HAVE OWNED THE CAR. WHEN THE SYSTEM ERRORS THE EMERGENCY BRAKING DOES NOT FUNCTION, THE ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL DOES NOT FUNCTION, AND EVEN THE TRADITIONAL CRUISE CONTROL WILL NOT SET. TURNING CAR OFF AND ONE DOES RESET THE ISSUE BUT IT KEEPS APPEARING AT RANDOM TIMES WHEN I DRIVE THE CAR. I HAVE TAKEN THE CAR TO DEALER MULTIPLE TIMES THEY TELL ME THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING UNLESS THE WARNING LIGHT IS ON WHEN THEY HAVE THE VEHICLE. THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE I PURCHASED THE CAR BRAND NEW IN NOVEMBER 2019. *TR
ON JUNE 15,2020 I WASHED MY CAR AND DISCOVERED THAT THE PAINT ON THE HOOD WAS PEELING OFF. I THEN TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER AND THEY TOOK A PICTURE AND SENT TO HONDA CORPORATE. I ALSO FAXED MY COMPLAINT LETTER TO THE HONDA CUSTOMER SERVICE ON 6/18/2020. 6/22/2020 CUSTOMER SERVICE CALLED BACK AND CONCLUDED THAT THE PEELING PAINT IS NOT MANUFACTURING DEFECT. HONDA REFUSED TO PROVIDE ANY WRITTEN EXPLANATION AS TO WHY THEY DENIED FIXING THE PAINT ISSUE WHEN ASKED FOR ONE. A YEAR-OLD CAT'S PAINT SHOULD NOT BE PEELING OFF THIS EASILY. I OWN 2 OTHER OLDER HONDA VEHICLES AND HAVE HAD NO PAINT ISSUES. I JUST DISCOVERED THAT THERE ARE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS IN THE INTERNET OF THIS PAINT ISSUES WITH HONDA VEHICLES 2018-2019. I WAS DRIVING STRAIGHT IN THE LEFT LANE ON I-95 AND ALL OF THE CAR SENSORS ALL STARTED FLASHING, ONE AT A TIME. SHORTLY AFTER, THE STEERING WHEEL STEERED TO THE RIGHT AND THE CAR LOST CONTROL UNTIL STOPPING IN A DITCH. I BELIEVE THE CAR COMPUTER MAY HAVE BLANKED OUT.

MY 2019 HONDA ACCORD 2.0T SPORT (WHICH ONLY HAS 5,000 MILE) AC CONDENSER SEEMS IS LEAKING. THAT MIGHT AFFECT THE DEFROSTING OF THE FRONT WINDSHIELD. IT'S HARD TO NOTICE THE PROBLEM IS THERE UNLESS THE BUMPER IS REMOVED. THE REFRIGERANT WILL EVENTUALLY RAN OUT. BY THE TIME THE CAR PROBABLY OUT OF WARRANTY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE CLUTCH FAILED TO OPERATE AS DESIGNED WITH BRAKES WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT PULLED INTO A PARKING LOT AND SHIFTED THE VEHICLE IN NEUTRAL. THE CLUTCH WAS RELEASED HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE FORWARD. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO HAMILTON HONDA SERVICE DEPARTMENT (655 US HWY 130, HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ 08691, (609) 528-2560) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED AND IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE CLUTCH FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED 3 ADDITIONAL TIMES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE WARRANTY HAD EXPIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 13,000.

THE ACC, BRAKE SYSTEM, LKAS, AND ALL SECURITY SYSTEMS SENT A MESSAGE THAT THEY ARE OFF AND DOES NOT WORK, AFTER FOR NO REASON, NO OBSTACLE IT BRAKED ITSELF. NOW THE ENTIRE SYSTEM IS OFF.
I WAS INVOLVED IN A LOW SPEED COLLISION PULLING OUT OF A CLINIC DRIVEWAY ONTO THE ROAD. THE COLLISION DEPLOYED TWO AIRBAGS ON IMPACT. MOST IMPORTANTLY, MY SEAT BELT FAILED.AFTER THE ACCIDENT I FOUND MY SEAT BELT UNBUCKLED AND LAYING OPEN. IF THIS HAD BEEN AT A HIGHER SPEED, I COULD HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY INJURED OR KILLED.
WINDOWS FOG CONTINOUSLY FOR NO REASON AND THE WINDSHIELD CRACKED BY ITSELF AFTER USING THE DEFOGGING BUTTON FOR THE WINDSHIELD. THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION BUT THERE WAS NO DEBRI OR ROCKS THAT HIT THE WINDSHIELD. REPRESENTATIVE AT THE DEALER TOLD ME THAT THESE ARE FACTORY DEFECTS BUT THE MANUFACTURER REFUSES TO FIX THE ISSUE.

WHILE DRIVING A NEW 2019 HONDA ACCORD SPORT WITH ACTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (ACC) AND LANE ASSIST AT NIGHT, THE CAR HAS ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS OVER 10 MONTHS MALFUNCTIONED. BOTH THE ACC AND LANE ASSIST STOPPED WORKING. THE DASH SAID "COLLISION MITIGATION BRAKING SYSTEM PROBLEM" AND "ROAD DEPARTURE MITIGATION SYSTEM PROBLEM". IF THE CAR IS RESTARTED THE MALFUNCTION AND WARNING MESSAGES CLEAR. THE DEALER HAS LOOKED AT THE CAR THREE TIMES, BUT THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM.

AS THE TACHOMETER IN THIS VEHICLE IS DIGITAL, THE DRIVER IS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE RPM OF THE ENGINE WHEN STATIONARY OR IN MOTION. WHEN THIS PROBLEM SURFACES, NOT EVEN RESTARTING THE VEHICLE FIXES THE DIGITAL DISPLAY. I HAVE HAD 3 DEALER APPOINTMENTS TO FIX THIS ISSUE NOW. THEY HAVE SWAPPED OUT THE GAUGE CLUSTER AND THE PROBLEM PERSISTS. ADDITIONALLY, I HAVE IDENTIFIED OTHER USERS VIA INTERNET FORUMS WHO HAVE EXCHANGED PHOTOS AND VIDEOS WITH ME OF THEIR VEHICLES EXHIBITING THE SAME SYMPTOMS. WE LEASED A HONDA ACCORD IN JULY, 2019. WE ARE A HONDA FAMILY. BEFORE THE ACCIDENT ON JANUARY 10 OF THIS YEAR, WE NOTICED SEVERAL UNUSUAL HAPPENINGS. THE TRUNK LID WOULD OPEN WHILE DRIVING AFTER BEING SECURELY LATCHED. IT ALSO WOULD BEGIN BRAKING UNNECESSARILY. IT JUMPED THE CURB, WENT OVER WIDE SIDEWALK, TRAVELED THROUGH A BRICK WALL ANCHORING A HUGE STORE WINDOW, AND THEN WENT CRASHED THROUGH THE HUGE WINDOW.
