1. The AEB system activated on a clear road with no visible obstacles in sight. The car showed "Brake" message and braked by itself. Fortunately there was no car immediately behind me, so there was no collision. 2. While parked, with the keys untouched, the truck opened by itself. This has happened on more than one occasion.

The paint on my Champagne 2019 Honda Accord is rusting around the wheel well and on the gas tank door. I’ve only had this car for 2 years and it should not be happening. I see other complaints about this that aren’t being rectified. .

Paint on top of the hood is peeling and causing rust. Upon talking to 2 different paint and body shops, I was informed they have had other Honda owners with pearl white paint come in for same issue. I took my car to local Honda dealership and they informed me there is no recall on this paint so they can’t do anything. However, when doing google search there have been numerous issues with Honda paint. As someone who paid thousands of dollars for car, getting maintenance only at Honda dealerships and not getting in any accidents, now I have problem that costs thousands of dollars and there’s no responsibility from manufacturer. Someone needs to address this issue
Paint on my Platinum White Pearl 2019 Honda Accord 2.0T Touring has started peeling in the rain channel on the roof.

ON JUNE 15,2020 I WASHED MY CAR AND DISCOVERED THAT THE PAINT ON THE HOOD WAS PEELING OFF. I THEN TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER AND THEY TOOK A PICTURE AND SENT TO HONDA CORPORATE. I ALSO FAXED MY COMPLAINT LETTER TO THE HONDA CUSTOMER SERVICE ON 6/18/2020. 6/22/2020 CUSTOMER SERVICE CALLED BACK AND CONCLUDED THAT THE PEELING PAINT IS NOT MANUFACTURING DEFECT. HONDA REFUSED TO PROVIDE ANY WRITTEN EXPLANATION AS TO WHY THEY DENIED FIXING THE PAINT ISSUE WHEN ASKED FOR ONE. A YEAR-OLD CAT'S PAINT SHOULD NOT BE PEELING OFF THIS EASILY. I OWN 2 OTHER OLDER HONDA VEHICLES AND HAVE HAD NO PAINT ISSUES. I JUST DISCOVERED THAT THERE ARE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS IN THE INTERNET OF THIS PAINT ISSUES WITH HONDA VEHICLES 2018-2019. MY VEHICLE IS UNDER 5000 MILES. *TR
MY VEHICLE IS 3 MONTHS OLD. I NOTICED ABOUT A MONTH AGO ONE CREASE ABOVE THE DRIVER SIDE PASSENGER DOOR, IN THE FRAME PIECE THAT IS BETWEEN THE DOOR AND DOOR. TYPICALLY THIS IS WHERE IT CREASES IN ACCIDENTS FOR SAFETY. A WEEK OR SO LATER ANOTHER ONE SHOWED UP AND HOW THERE ARE 3 AND I SEE A 4TH STARTING. THERE ARE NO MARKS JUST THE CREASE. THEY SEEM TO BE IN A LINE ALL ALONG THE DRIVER SIDE PIECE ABOVE THE DOORS. IT IS AS IF THE FRAME OF VEHICLE'S BODY IS FOLDING IN. AGAIN, AS IF IT WAS CREASING FOR THE SAFETY IN AN ACCIDENT. I AM NOT SURE WHAT TO DO AND HOW LONG I WAIT FOR THIS. I AM NERVOUS THE VEHICLE COULD START TO BECOME UNSAFE. I HAVE SLOWLY BEEN NOTICING MORE AND MORE APPEARING ALONG THAT SAME LINE. HELP PLEASE.
NEW 2019 HONDA ACCORD EX IN BLACK WITH 7000 MILES HAS MULTIPLE SPOTS ON THE ROOF WHERE THE PAINT IS PEELING. THE CAR IS PARKED IN THE GARAGE MOST OF THE TIME.
CLEAR COAT AND PAINT PEELING ON MY BRAND NEW 2 WEEKS OLD CAR. PAINT IS BLACK THE CAR IS 2019 HONDA ACCORD. AREAS AFFECTED ARE HOOD, ROOF AND TRUNK BUT NOT LIMITED TO OTHER PANELS. CLEAR COAT IS PEELING OFF OF THE RIGHT (PASSENGER) FRONT FENDER. CLEAR COAT IS PEELING OFF OF THE RIGHT (PASSENGER) SIDE FRONT BUMPER COVER. CLEAR COAT IS PEELING/BUBBLING OFF THE TRUNK IN TWO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. FIRST NOTICED AT ~ 700 MILES. I PURCHASED A 2019 HONDA ACCORD SPORT BLACK MARCH 2019, EXACTLY 3 MONTHS AFTER THESE WHITE SPOTS SHOWED UP ON THE TOP OF THE CAR THE HOOD, ROOF, AND TRUNK. I CONTACTED HONDA ABOUT THE ISSUE AND THEY IMMEDIATELY BLAMED IT ON THE WEATHER AND ITS SAP. I REACHED OUT TO CORPORATE OFFICE FIRST AND THEY TOLD ME TO TAKE TO THE DEALERSHIP THAT I PURCHASED IT FROM, I DID AND THEY SAID THAT THEY WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PAINT CHIPPING THE WAY IT IS, YOU PARKED UNDER A TREE, HERE IT IS JUNE OF 2020 AND I AM STILL TRYING TO GET SOMETHING DONE TO MY CAR. I CALLED MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND THEY AGREED TO LOOK AT THE CAR AND THE BODY SHOP I TOOK IT TO SAID THEY WOULD NOT TOUCH IT, BECAUSE HONDA NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, INSURANCE NOW WILL NOT COVER IT AT ALL. I AM LOST FOR WORDS BECAUSE NOT ONLY IS THIS A NEW CAR IT SHOULD NOT BE DOING THIS. I CAN SEE 10 YRS AND NEGLECT BUT THIS IS NOT SO. I JUST WANT MY CAR FIX. IT SHOULD BE OFFERED TO ANY CUSTOMER STARTING FROM 2018 TO PRESENT THEY NEED TO RESEARCH IT TO SEE HOW MANY CARS ARE DEFECTED, AND THEY NEED TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR IT. I REACHED OUT TO THE LOCAL NEWS STATION AND I HOPE SOMETHING CAN BE DONE. *TR
Paint chipping…Honda refuses to assist. Paint has been chipping approximately 3 years now and it’s getting worse. The paint is coming off in chunks.
