Vehicle displayed numerous warning lights and messages like Emission system problem and other messages on the cluster gauge. Traveling on the interstate, the vehicle would not accelerate or maintain proper speed. Turned on the emergency flashers to warn other drivers to avoid an accident. Brought it to the dealership and found code P0087 Fuel Rail Pressure Too Low and informed me that the low pressure fuel pump is bad and needs to be replaced. The vehicle is out of warranty as it has ~85k miles.
Car engine suddenly stalled on a number of occasions - as if vehicle went from drive to neutral - essentially losing forward moving power. Car alert said there was an issue with the electronic break, and dealer failed to identify a remedy.
Fuel injector pump went bad o the car and it caused the dashboard to light up and the advance driver assistance systems to malfunction. Took the car to the dealer and they confirmed it was a bad fuel injector pump. I took my vehicle to the same dealer service center on 11/05/2024 and nothing suggested the fuel injector was going bad. The car runs like normal and doesn’t have any hesitation when driving. I googled the car symptoms and there are several other drivers that reported the same issue for the same model car. Honda told me there is a recall but it does not cover my vehicle.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
