Bought a brand new Honda 2024 at a dealership, since picking up the car we noticed it was black and white and not clear, assumed it was a setting issue so paperwork was completed and we took the car home. It was a safety issue as having it black and white and reversing it was hard to see and several close calls on collition when backing up due to camera malfunction. Issue persisted, notified dealership and appointment was made to replace camera. Issue was confirmed by dealership and camera replaced. About to exit the dealership, put car on reverse and issue persisted.

On [XXX] at [XXX] with my wife in the my new Honda Accord. I was traveling between 30 and 40 MPH with nothing in front of me the AEB activated bringing the car to a complete stop. Nothing lit up on the dashboard at the time of activation. Since this car is brand new and only has 550 miles on it I am very concerned for my safety. If there was a car in back of me it would have caused a rear end collision. I took this vehicle immediately to Crown Honda in Saint Petersburg Florida to be assessed. This 2024 Honda Accord Touring Hybrid has had 7 instances of Power System Error Messages, leading to returns to the Dealer for multiple repairs or exchanges of the air conditioning compressor, battery sensor, 12 V battery, and rack-and-pinion steering gear. These issues have severely disrupted travel plans and caused inconvenience. Since purchase, 19 months ago, the car has been unavailable to us for 41 days, 35 of which have been in the last 7 months.
I get an error message every time I turn start my car up, the error message says there is no software updates available every since I purchased the car. On numerous occasions the sign reader have read 85/95 mph on different occasions.
On 2 separate occasions while driving, I have taken an exit that has 2 left and 2 right turn lanes. While I'm in the middle left turn lane and a car is in the middle right turn lane the radar cone for the emergency braking system will trigger an imminent collision and slam on the brakes even though cars are in completely different lanes and I have nothing in front of me. Both incidents have caused near misses from cars behind me. I'm not sure I even feel safe driving this car anymore, if technology that is supposed to keep me and my passengers safe is this unpredictable to the interpretation of my environment, it will inevitably cause a collision and after viewing articles around news outlets it looks like this has already happened. It seems to be a sensitivity issue with the sensors on the front of the car or that the sonar is too wide. Either way, this needs to be fixed before drivers start getting into more serious collisions rather than small fender benders as there are a lot of crvs and accords with this issue already on the road.
I was trying to back up and the car would not go. A warning on the dash came on that said collision Mitigation System problem, see your dealer. I put the car in drive and it hesitated like a brake was on. .I couldn't get above 10 miles per hour. It was like I was trying to go forward, but someone was pulling me back at the same time. I took it to the dealer and they said nothing was wrong.
This has to do with the wireless phone audio system. The quality is extremely poor as the internal microphone seems to pick up every sound in and outside of the car. There appears to be zero filtration of outside noise. This is a safety problem as it forces the driver to pick up their phone in order to use the speaker.
