The issue I’m having is that the break red light in the orange brake system just appears randomly without me activating the break. on one occasion I parked the car without seeing any of those signals, then upon me coming out of the store, both signals appeared on the dashboard. my car was stuck in break four hours. After continuously, activating the electronic brake and inactivating it I was able to drive home. I am currently driving day two with both signals flashing on my dashboard. The wheels are rolling and not dragging so I’m not sure what’s going on. This is a safety hazard for not only myself or family, but for other drivers on the road because if this decides to just stop in the middle of the road activating the brakes I’m going to be in trouble and hopefully not life threatening trouble.

Brakes keep failing. Replaced with OEM parts twice in the last 10months because Honda says it isn't an issue they cover and no active recalls for any parts or components

STARTED DRIVING WHEN SEVERAL WARNING LABELS CAME ON THAT INCLUDED BRAKE SYSTEM PROBLEM, EMISSION SYSTEM FAILURE, HILL ASSIST FAILURE, AND POWER STEERING PROBLEM ABLE TO DRIVE AROUND BLOCK USING BRAKES, NORMAL POWER, RUNNING FINE. GOT INTO DRIVE WAY BRAKES NOT WORKING ALMOST RUNNING INTO GARAGE DOOR. SHUT OF CAR, UNPLUG BATTERY, AND WAIT TO RESET COMPUTER. PLUG BATTERY BACK ON WORK FOR 4 DAYS THEN DID IT AGAIN. LUCKY I WASNT DRIVING FASTER AND THERE WASN'T A CHILD IN FRONT OF CAR WHEN BRAKES QUIT WORKING. SOME ONE IS GOING TO GET RUN OVER IF THIS COMPUTER/ SOFTWARE IS NOT FIXED. IT SHOULDN'T COME TO THAT.
THIS HAPPENED TO ME THREE TIMES IN THREE YEARS. SUDDENLY AN ERROR MESSAGE POPS UP SAYING "ELECTRICAL PARKING BRAKE PROBLEM". THE FIRST TWO TIMES IT WENT AWAY AFTER I FIDDLED WITH ELECTRICAL PARKING AND THE ERROR MESSAGE WENT AWAY. THE THIRD TIME, COULDN'T START THE CAR AS THE BRAKE PAD DOESN'T MOVE AT ALL. CAR WAS STATIONARY AND IT HAPPENED IN A PARKING LOT. *TR
AFTER PARKING IN MY DRIVEWAY, PLACING THE PARKING BRAKE ON, TURNING THE ENGINE OFF AND EXISTING THE VEHICLE, MY PARKING BRAKE GAVE OUT ABOUT 15 MINUTES LATER. MY CAR ROLLED DOWN MY SHORT DRIVEWAY. FORTUNATELY, I WAS CLOSE BY, HOPPED IN THE MOVING CAR AS IT REACHED MY STREET AND MANUALLY PUSHED DOWN THE BRAKE. AS I RESTARTED THE VEHICLE, THE PARKING BRAKE SIGNAL SHOWED THE PARKING BRAKE WAS STILL ENGAGED. IT APPEARS THE PARKING BRAKE IS DEFECTIVE. THE PARKING BRAKE SHOULD NOT (AND CANNOT) RELEASE. EVER. IF I WERE PARKED ON A PUBLIC STREET, I COULD HAVE HARMED ANOTHER VEHICLE OR PEDESTRIAN.

I WAS LEFT STRANDED THREE TIMES TODAY IN MY 2017 HONDA CIVIC EX-T DUE TO THE ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE FAILURE. MY VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN A PARKING LOT AND I COULDN'T GO ANYWHERE. I WASN'T CLOSE TO HOME. I WAS IN ANOTHER STATE.
I WAS DRIVING THE SPEED LIMIT AT 40MPH. THE COLLISION MITIGATION BRAKING SYSTEM FIRED ON AN OPEN ROAD CAUSING MY CAR TO STOP ABRUPTLY. THIS CAUSED ME TO GET REAR ENDED BY THE CAR BEHIND ME. THERE WASN'T A CAR IN FRONT OF ME, IT FIRED ERRATICALLY. POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. AFTER TAKING THE CAR TO THE DEALER, THE DEALER HAS INDICATED "THERE IS NOTHING WRONG". EVEN THOUGH THERE WERE WITNESS'S AT THE SCENE AS WELL AS IT CAUSING AN ACCIDENT.
I WAS TURNING INTO A PARKING LOT WHERE I THEN PROCEEDED TO PARK MY CAR INTO A PARKING SPOT. I PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND THE CAR CONTINUED TO MOVE FORWARD. THE CAR ENDED UP HITTING THE BUILDING THAT WAS 2 FEET IN FRONT OF ME. THE CAR THEN REVERSED ON IT'S OWN AND CHARGED FORWARD TO HIT THE BUILDING AGAIN. THE SECOND TIME IT HIT THE BUILDING THE AIR BAG WENT OFF. I TRIED TO PUT THE CAR IN REVERSE MANUALLY TO PREVENT IT FROM HITTING THE BUILDING. WHEN I DID THIS , THE CAR ACCELERATED BACKWARDS .
