THE LOCKS ARE ACTING WEIRD. THE CAR LOCKS AUTOMATICALLY WHEN THE DOOR IS CLOSED. AS SOON AS I GET IN THE DOORS LOCK AND THE SAME WHEN I GET OUT. WHEN I NEED TO GET IN THE CAR I NEED TO USE THE KEY FOB AND IT UNLOCKS FOR JUST A SECOND THE LOCKS AGAIN QUICKLY. VERY ANNOYING! I FEAR THE LOCKS WILL MALFUNCTION MORE AND MORE AS TIME PASSES. TODAY THE ALARM WENT ON AND I HAD TO START THE CAR AND PUT IT IN REVERSE AND BACK IN DRIVE THEN IN PARK AND THEN OFF TO END THE ALARM. *TR
CAR SECURITY SYSTEM AUTOMATICALLY LOCK DOORS AFTER A FEW SECONDS OF UNLOCKING. CAN NOT UNLOCK CAR WITH KEYS HAVE TO USE FOB. RIGHT SIDE PASSENGER DOOR WONT LOCK PROPPALLY. *TR
POWERS LOCKS BEGAN TO GET STUCK ON PASSENGER BACK DOOR. THEY WOULD RE-LOCK IMMEDIATELY UPON UNLOCKING. THIS WENT ON FOR ABOUT 2-3 MONTHS. AFTER THAT, THE LOCKS ON ALL DOORS STARTING LOCKING AND UN-LOCKING WHEN DRIVING SLOW, I.E., MERGING INTO TRAFFIC, DRIVING THROUGH DEVELOPMENT, ANOTHER 2-3 MONTHS. IT NOW HAS STOPPED THAT AND MAKES A HORRIBLE LOUD GRINDING SOUND WHEN YOU LOCK AND UNLOCK THE DOORS. I AM WORRIED THAT AT SOME THAT THE LOCKS WILL QUIT WORKING COMPLETELY.
I PREVIOUSLY FILED A COMPLAINT ABOUT MY CAR DOORS LOCKING AND UNLOCKING. DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO LOSE THEIR LIFE FOR HONDA TO RECOGNIZE THE PROBLEM HERE? OR MAYBE ONE OF OUR CHILDREN FROM BEING LOCKED INSIDE? *TR
RIGHT FRONT PASSENGER DOOR WILL NOT STAY LOCKED, NO MATTER HOW I TRY TO LOCK IT. IT LOCKS AND SLOWLY OPENS ITSELF. *TR
THE LOCKS INTERMITTENTLY DO NOT STAY LOCKED. THEY WILL UNLOCK ON THEIR OWN WHILE DRIVING. THE CAR WILL NOT LOCK PROPERLY WHILE IT IS ON. IT ALSO DOES NOT LOCK PROPERLY WHILE IT IS OFF. ALL DOORS EXCEPT THE DRIVER DOOR IS AFFECTED. *TR
THE VEHICLE BEGAN RESETTING DOOR LOCKS WHENEVER VEHICLE WAS STOPPED AND ACCELERATED THROUGH 6 OR 7 MPH. SO FAR IT IS JUST THE FRONT, RIGHT PASSENGER DOOR, BUT BASED ON HUNDREDS OF OTHER COMPLAINTS IT SEEMS LIKE IT WILL ONLY BE GETTING WORSE. THIS IS VERY UNSAFE BECAUSE I LIVE IN A CITY AND ANYONE COULD EASILY JUMP INTO THE CAR AND HIJACK THE VEHICLE. THIS PUTS EVERYONE IN DANGER OF BEING HARMED AND PUTS MY CAR AT GREAT RISK OF THEFT. IT IS RIDICULOUS THAT THIS HAS NOT GOTTEN A RECALL WHEN IT HAS BEEN A PROBLEM FOR YEARS. I ONLY HAVE 34,000 MILES ON MY CAR. THERE IS NO REASON WHY MY CAR SHOULD BE EXPERIENCING ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS. I HAVE TO MANUALLY LOCK THE DOOR AND EVEN WHEN I DO IT STILL REOPENS ITSELF SOMETIMES. THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM. THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO GET INVOLVED. THESE CAR COMPANIES SHOULD NOT BE GETTING AWAY WITH SELLING DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS. THEY SHOULD TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR SELLING A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. TOYOTA WAS NOT PENALIZED UNTIL PEOPLE STARTED DYING. IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE A HONDA OWNER BECOMES THE VICTIM. *TR
ON MAY 18, 2012, MY PASSENGER SIDE DOOR LOCK STARTED MALFUNCTIONING. EVERY TIME I WOULD START OR STOP, THE DOOR WOULD LOCK THEN IMMEDIATELY UNLOCK. IT IS UNABLE TO BE LOCKED USING THE KEY FOB AND IS UNABLE TO BE LOCKED MANUALLY BY PUSHING THE LEVER INSIDE THE CAR. SO BASICALLY THE CAR IS UNLOCKED. IT IS A FAULTY/DEFECTIVE DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR. COMMON PROBLEM IN HONDAS. OTHER MODELS AND YEARS HAVE BEEN RECALLED, BUT NOT THE 2007 CR-V. I ONLY HAVE 19,700 MILES ON MY 5 YEAR OLD CAR!!! HONDA NEEDS TO ISSUE A RECALL. I HAVE ALREADY HAVE TWO OTHER ITEMS FIXED ON THIS CAR AT NO COST BECAUSE OF TSBS BEING ISSUED (REAR DIFFERENTIAL AND TRANSMISSION MODULE). I HAVE CONTACTED HONDA CORPORATE TO REQUEST A GOODWILL CONSIDERATION REPAIR SINCE IT WILL COST APPROXIMATELY $265 TO REPLACE THIS DEFECTIVE/FAULTY PART. *JS
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HONDA CR-V.THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR DRIVER AND REAR PASSENGER SIDE DOORS FAILED TO LOCK OR UNLOCK REMOTELY OR MANUALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A FRACTURED LOCK ACTUATOR. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 38,000.
THE FRONT RIGHT PASSENGER DOOR AND THE HATCH DOOR WERE LOCKED SHUT. I COULD NOT OPEN EITHER DOOR WITH THE REMOTE OR MANUALLY. I WAS CONCERNED THIS COULD BE DANGEROUS FOR THE PASSENGER IF WE WERE EVER INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT AND NEEDED TO GET OUT OF THE CAR IMMEDIATELY. I DID HAVE BOTH DOORS REPAIRED. THEN A FEW MONTHS LATER THE REAR DOOR STARTED MAKING A GRINDING NOISE WHENEVER THE DOORS LOCKED OR UNLOCKED. THEN THE DRIVERS DOOR WOULD OPEN AND CLOSE ALL THE DOORS AT RANDOM TIMES. I WAS CONCERNED THE DOORS WOULD LOCK ME OUT ONE DAY. I DO MAKE FREQUENT CAR TRIPS TO SEE MY FAMILY IN ANOTHER CITY AND I DID NOT WANT TO GET LOCKED OUT WHILE ON ROUTE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. I HAVE SINCE HAD THOSE TWO DOORS REPAIRED FOR ANOTHER FEW HUNDRED DOLLARS. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE FOR ANYONE WHO MIGHT BE IN AN ACCIDENT AND THE DOORS WILL NOT OPEN. I FEEL HONDA SHOULD TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS DEFECT IN THE CRV'S BEFORE SOMEONE DOES GET SERIOUSLY HURT OR WORSE. *TR
DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR FAILURE ON LEFT PASSENGER DOOR. DOOR WOULD LOCK UNCOMMANDED. ACTUATOR REPLACED AT OWNERS COST AND 1 WEEK AFTER FIRST ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT DRIVERS DOOR MASTER ACTUATOR FAILED WHICH WOULD NOT ALLOW THE UNLOCK OF PASSENGER DOORS. PASSENGERS COULD NOT EGRESS CAR FROM THEIR DOORS. THIS CONDITION WOULD BE UNSAFE IN AN ACCIDENT. *TR
AFTER ACCELERATING THE 2007 HONDA CRV, THE AUTO CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE RAPIDLY ON ITS OWN. APPLYING THE BRAKES DID LITTLE TO STOP THE ACCELERATION. AFTER 4/10TH OF A MILE THE DRIVER WAS ABLE TO GET THE CAR INTO NEUTRAL, STOPPED, AND AT THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. WHEN THE ENGINE WAS RESTARTED IT RACED AT FULL SPEED. IT WAS ALSO IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THE CAR OUT OF "PARK" AND INTO NEUTRAL. (4 ATTEMPTS WERE MADE OVER A 30 MIN PERIOD). VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO MECHANIC. MECHANIC REPORTED THAN WHEN HE RECEIVED THE CAR HE NEED TO JUMP START THE 1 YEAR OLD BATTERY AND WAS ABLE TO START THE CAR NORMALLY. HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AND WILL CONTINUE TO RUN TESTS. *TR
THE HATCH WOULDN'T OPEN. NOTICED THE BACK LEFT DOOR WAS STUCK LOCKED WHILE OTHER DOORS OPENED WHEN UNLOCKED W/KEY REMOTE AND MANUALLY FROM FRONT DRIVERS SIDE DOOR. SO I MANUALLY OPENED THE LOCK ON THE BACK LEFT DOOR WHICH ENABLED THE HATCH TO OPEN. FROM THEN, THE BACK LEFT DOOR WOULDN'T LOCK. NOTICED THIS WHILE DRIVING--MY SON OPENED DOOR SEVERAL TIMES, LUCKILY WE WEREN'T ON THE FREEWAY AND HE WAS IN A CHILD SEAT. OTHERWISE HE WOULD'VE FLEW OUT. THE DOOR SOUNDED LIKE IT LOCKED AS IT ALWAYS DID BUT DIDN'T REALIZED THE BACK DOOR WASN'T LOCKED. *TR
FRONT DRIVER AND TRUNK DOORS POWER LOCKS STOP WORKING. IT SEEMED TO BE VERY COMMON ISSUE FOR HONDA CR-VS 2007 AND YOUNGER. I WAS TOLD BY DEALERSHIP TO REPLACE TWO LATCHES WOULD COST ME STAGGERING $500. IT DEFINITELY SEEM TO BE THE DESIGN PROBLEM. I AM NOT SURE WHY HONDA DOES NOT ACT TO RECALL THE PART, FORCING CUSTOMERS TO PAY FOR ITS SHORTCOMINGS. *TR
THE POWER DOOR LOCKS ON MY CAR UNLOCKS AND LOCKS WHILE DRIVING .. PASSENGERS AND DRIVER SIDE DOORS LOCK AND CANNOT REOPEN UNLESS U HAVE THE KEY OR THE DRIVER UNLOCKS THE DOOR MAKING THIS A DANGEROUS SAFETY FEATURE ..THUS IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO THE DRIVER THE PASSENGERS IN THE CAR CANNOT GET OUT.. SEVERAL TIMES THAT I HAVE GOTTEN OUT OF THE CAR TO GO INTO THE STORE AND LEFT MY HANDICAPPED SISTER IN THE CAR SHE TRIED TO GET OUT TO USE THE STORES BATHROOM AND FOUND THAT SHE COULD NOT GET OUT OF THE CAR.. IT WAS LOCKED AND THE POWER DOOR LOCKS FAILED THIS HAS HAPPENED WAY TOO MANY TIMES ACCORDING TO THE INTERNET WHEN THIS PROBLEM IS GOOGLED IT APPEARS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM ..HONDA NEEDS TO RECALL THESE CARS AND FIX THEM THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD IF YOU WERE A PASSENGER AND GOT INTO AN ACCIDENT WHICH KNOCKS THE DRIVER OUT AND THERE WAS A CAR FIRE ETC THE PASSENGERS WOULD BURN TO DEATH BECAUSE THEY CAN NOT OPEN THE DOORS FROM THE INSIDE ... OR THE OUT SIDE ... PLEASE HELP US HONDA WANTED 253.00 TO FIX ONE DOOR LOCK I HAVE NO MONEY TO DO THIS THEY SHOULD RECALL THESE VEHICLES .. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT THE ACTUATOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE THE DOOR LOCKS WERE AUTOMATIC. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DOORS WOULD LOCK AS SOON AS THEY WERE OPENED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 135,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HONDA CR-V. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHENEVER HE ACCELERATED FROM STOPS, THE DOOR LOCKS WOULD INVOLUNTARILY LOCK AND UNLOCK. ON A FEW OCCASIONS, THE CONTACT GOT LOCKED INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHERE THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE DOOR LOCK WAS REPLACED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 112,000.

TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE CAR STALLS AND ACCELERATES UP AND DOWN ON ITS ON OWN. THIS HAPPENS IN MOTION AND WHEN IDLE. THIS HAS BEEN AN ONGOING ISSUE FOR YEARS.
REAR DRIVER DOOR NOT LOCKING. WHEN ALL THE DOORS ARE LOCKED EITHER USING THE REMOTE OR THE MASTER DRIVER DOOR LOCK BUTTON, THE REAR DRIVER DOOR RETURNS TO THE UNLOCKED STATE WITHIN ONE SECOND OF LOCKING. IT CANNOT BE LOCKED MANUALLY AND DOES NOT REMAIN LOCKED IF THE BUTTON IS MANUALLY HELD IN PLACE. I HAVE READ VARIOUS COMPLAINTS OF THE DOOR LOCKING SYSTEM BECOMING FAULTY. WHY WON'T HONDA TAKE OWNERSHIP AND DO A RECALL! I AM UNFAIRLY HAVING TO SPEND ALMOST $250 TO GET THE ACTUATOR REPLACED. DOOR LOCKS SHOULD COME WITH A LIFETIME WARRANTY JUST LIKE SEAT BELTS! THIS IS CAUSING A THEFT HAZARD AS WELL AS A SAFETY HAZARD FOR MY CHILD RIDING IN THE BACK SEAT! *TR

SEVERAL YEARS AGO OUR FRONT PASSENGER AND ONE OF THE REAR DOORS WOULD NOT REMAIN UNLOCKED OR LOCKED, DEPENDING ON THEIR MOOD. NOR COULD WE UNLOCK THE FRONT PASSENGER DOOR FROM THE INSIDE. WE HAD TO GET SOMETHING FIXED - THE LOCK ACTUATOR I BELIEVE IT IS CALLED. A FEW MONTHS BACK, SEP/OCT 2014, OUR PASSENGER SIDE DOOR WOULD NOT REMAIN UNLOCKED FOR MORE THAN TWO SECONDS, THOUGH WE COULD LOCK/UNLOCK FROM THE FOB OR THE PASSENGER OR DRIVER SIDE LOCK CONTROLS. SINCE DECEMBER, WE CAN NOT EVEN USE THE OUTSIDE KEY LOCK, AND CAN ONLY UNLOCK THE CAR FROM THE FOB, AND THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR STILL WILL NOT REMAIN UNLOCKED. NOW I HEAR THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH OUR 2007 CRV. BEFORE I BRING MY CAR IN FOR EXPENSIVE REPAIRS ON SOMETHING HONDA GOT WRONG, I AM FILING THIS COMPLAINT. AS THIS IS A SAFETY PROBLEM.. CAN NOT UNLOCK THE DOOR TO GET OUT IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY, AND COULD NOT GET INTO THE CAR IF OUR FOB FAILS, WHICH I HEAR ALSO HAPPENS, HONDA SHOULD FIX THIS. *TR
THE MECHANICS OF THE DOOR LOCKS HAVE BECOME PROGRESSIVELY WORSE BEGINNING FIRST WITH THE FRONT PASSENGER DOOR AND THEN SPREADING TO THE RIGHT SIDE REAR PASSENGER DOOR, DRIVER DOOR, AND REAR HATCH. ALL OF THE DOORS RANDOMLY LOCK AND UNLOCK AND MAKE A LOUD RATTLING SOUND WHILE DOING SO. THE RIGHT SIDE REAR DOOR NO LONGER UNLOCKS FROM THE OUTSIDE. THE REAR HATCH ONLY OPENS 5% OF THE TIME WE ATTEMPT TO OPEN IT (WHICH IS A NIGHTMARE WHEN IT IS FULL OF LUGGAGE OR GROCERIES). THE DOORS WILL NOT UNLOCK MANUALLY WITH A KEY... ONLY THE FOB KEY. I HAVE SEEN NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ONLINE ADDRESSING THIS PROBLEM AND AM SHOCKED THAT IT HAS NOT BEEN ADDRESSED BY HONDA. IT IS A MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD. *TR

BOUGHT USED 2007 HONDA CRV. DRIVER'S SIDE POWER WINDOW WORKS INTERMITTENTLY. FUEL MILEAGE FINE AT FIRST GETTING 22/28. DROPPED SUDDENLY TO SINGLE DIGITS. AFTER USING INJECTOR CLEANER TREATMENT TWICE, CAN ONLY GET 22.5 CITY OR HWY. JUST STUCK AT CURRENT MILEAGE. DUE TO GO TO DEALER NEXT WEEK. WE'LL SEE. *JS

THE CONTACT WAS EXITING A RESIDENTIAL DRIVEWAY AT APPROXIMATELY 1 MPH WHEN HE SLIGHTLY HIT A LOW CURB WHICH WAS LOWER THAN THREE INCHES, WHEN THE DRIVERS AIRBAG SUDDENLY DEPLOYED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THEY ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE AIRBAG SENSOR WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND THEY OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 58,000. UPDATED 02/28/12 *BF UPDATED 03/26/12
2007 HONDA CRV. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE WHEELS INSTALLED WITHOUT TPMS SENSORS CAUSING TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM INOPERABLE AND REQUEST AN INVESTIGATION. *SMD THE CONSUMER BELIEVED THE RETAILER KNOWINGLY AND WILLINGLY MADE THE TPMS INOPERATIVE, BY INSTALLING WHEELS WITHOUT TPMS EVEN AFTER THE COMPANY HAD BEEN ADVISED THAT SUCH ACTION WOULD VIOLATE THE MAKE INOPERATIVE PROHIBITION OF 49 USC 30122.

THE CONTACT ALSO NOTICE THAT THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND THE D FLASHED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS, THE DEALER STATED THEY HAD TO REPLACE THE SHAFER SENSOR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED.
CAR WOULD NOT START:NO ENGINE TURNING, NO LIGHTS, ETC. THOUGHT I HAD A DEAD BATTERY, LOCKED CAR TO GET HELP (VIA KEY FOB) AND LIGHTS WENT ON ACKNOWLEDGING IT LOCKED. TRIED TO START CAR AGAIN AND IT STARTED FINE. RADIO WAS BLINKING AND HAD TO ENTER RADIO SECURITY CODE LIKE THE BATTERY HAD BEEN DISCONNECTED. DROVE CAR HOME WITH NO FURTHER PROBLEMS. THIS MORNING CAR WOULD NOT START AGAIN, FOLLOWED THE SAME PROCESS OF LOCKING AND UNLOCKING, LIGHTS COME ON AND CAR WOULD START (NO BLINKING RADIO THOUGH). DROVE INTO WORK, STOPPED AT INTERSECTION. WHEN LIGHT TURNED GREEN, STARTED TO DRIVE (MOVED ABOUT 50 FEET) AND DASHBOARD LIT UP AND THEN CAR STALLED AND TURNED OFF. CAR WOULD NOT START AGAIN. WOULD NOT SHIFT OUT OF PARK. GOOD SAMARITAN MESSED WITH IT AND MANAGED TO GET IT INTO NEUTRAL SO IT COULD BE PUSHED TO SIDE OF ROAD. SAID THE EMERGENCY BRAKE HAD BEEN ENGAGED WHICH IS WHY IT WOULD NOT SHIFT FROM PARK? FROM SIDE OF ROAD CAR STARTED FINE. I DROVE IT HOME WHERE NOW SITS IN THE GARAGE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HONDA CR-V. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE DOOR WOULD NOT LOCK. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON THE FRONT DRIVER AND REAR PASSENGER SIDE DOOR AS WELL. I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE 4 OUT OF 5 OF THE DOOR LOCKS. THE FIRST DOOR LOCK TO STICK WAS THE FRONT LOCK ON THE PASSENGERS SIDE DOOR. IT STUCK TIGHT AND WOULD NOT OPEN WITH THE REMOTE OR MANUALLY. THE LOCK WAS STUCK SHUT AND WE WERE UNABLE TO OPEN THE DOOR. IF WE HAD GOTTEN IN AN ACCIDENT AND NEEDED TO GET OUT QUICKLY, MY PASSENGER WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO OPEN THE DOOR TO EXIT THE VEHICLE. WHICH MAKES IT A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. ONE BY ONE, ALL THREE LOCKS EITHER LOCKED UP OR STARTED MAKING THE NOISE PROCEEDING THE LOCK UP ISSUE. I TOOK IT TO HONDA AND EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM, BUT SINCE MY WARRANTY HAD EXPIRED, THEY REFUSED TO PAY FOR THE EXPENSIVE REPAIR. I FELT LIKE THE ISSUE WAS SO DANGEROUS, AS I HAVE 2 DAUGHTERS WHO RIDE IN THE CAR DAILY, THAT I PAID TO HAVE THEM FIXED. SERVICE TECH FOUND TROUBLE CODE 81-43, AND REINITIALIZED/ RECALIBRATED THE PASSENGER SEAT WEIGHT SENSOR (OPDS) AND CHARGED ME $95 DUE TO THE DIAGNOSIS NOT BEING COVERED BY HONDACARE WITHOUT A DIAGNOSED HARDWARE FAILURE. WE HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE DOOR LATCH IN OUR 2007 HONDA CR-V ON THE BACK DRIVER SEAT. IT WAS FIXED UNDER THE WARRANTY. COUPLE MONTHS LATER WE STARTED HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE FRONT DRIVER DOOR. THE DOOR LOCK ACTUATORS FAIL WITHOUT WARNING. WHEN TRYING TO EXIT THE VEHICLE THE ACTUATOR IS STUCK IN THE LOCKED POSITION AND COULD PREVENT EMERGENCY EXIT OF THE VEHICLE. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT FOR AN ADULT TO MANUALLY OVERIDE THE LOCK AND IMPOSSIBLE FOR A CHILD. ONE ACTUATOR FAILURE CAUSES MULTIPLE DOORS NOT TO FUNCTION CORRECTLY. THE OTHER DAY I HAD TO CRAWL ACROSS THE CONSOLE TO GET OUT OF THE CAR BECAUSE THERE WAS NO WAY TO UNLOCK THE DOOR AND GET OUT. I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THIS ISSUE BECAUSE IF THERE WERE AN ACCIDENT IT IS POSSIBLE THAT PEOPLE IN THE CAR WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO GET OUT, ESPECIALLY IF THE ACCIDENT RESULTED IN A CAR FIRE.
