AFTER CONTACTING THE DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURER ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS, THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE PARTS NEEDED TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE WERE STILL NOT AVAILABLE AND NO ESTIMATED TIME FOR RECEIVING THE PARTS COULD BE GIVEN. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
TAKATA RECAL - GOT A NOTIFICATION FROM HONDA RE DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG RECALL. TOOK CAR INTO LOCAL HONDA DEALERSHIP 06/29/2016. WAS TOLD THAT ANOTHER RECALL ON THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG ALSO APPLIES TO MY CAR, AND THAT NEITHER AIR BAG IS AVAILABLE AT THE DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIRS TO BE PERFORMED. SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE ORDERED THE PARTS AND TOLD ME THAT I WILL BE NOTIFIED ONCE THEY ARRIVE, AND SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME THAT HE CAN NOT PROVIDE AN ESTIMATE AS TO HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE FOR THE AIR BAGS TO ARRIVE. TODAY IS 07/27/2016, IT HAS BEEN 4 WEEKS SINCE MY FIRST VISIT TO THE LOCAL HONDA DEALERSHIP ABOUT THE AIR BAGS, AND STILL NO AIRBAGS AND NO DATE OF THEIR EXPECTED DELIVERY.
LOST POWER STEERING WHILE DRIVING ON THE HWY IN MY 2011 HONDA FIT WITH ABOUT 58,500 MILES DRIVEN.. HAD CAR PARKED IN THE SUN FOR SEVERAL HOURS WITH AMBIENT TEMPERATURE OF 92F, GOT IN AND DROVE HOME, HAD RADIO ON, A/C ON, GAS LEVEL CLOSE TO THE EMPTY INDICATOR ("E")., AND WITHIN 5 MINUTES OF DRIVING, WAS ON THE FREEWAY AT THAT TIME, THE ELECTRIC POWER ASSISTED STEERING FUNCTIONALITY FAILED. I ALMOST LOST CONTROL OF VEHICLE, STEERING WAS HEAVY AND DIFFICULT, NO LIGHTS ILLUMINATED TO INDICATE A PROBLEM, WAS ABLE TO STAY IN # 1 LANE TILL I REACHED HOME. WHEN I STARTED THE CAR THE FOLLOWING DAY, AND POWER ASSIST FUNCTIONALITY WAS MAGICALLY RESTORED. I VISITED THE LOCAL HONDA DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE CLAIMED THAT HE HAS NOT HEARD OF SUCH PROBLEMS WITH THE HONDA FIT, EVEN FOR EARLIER YEARS WHEN I ASKED SPECIFICALLY. SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE WAS NOT EVEN INTERESTED IN HOOKING UP ANY DEVICES TO SEE IF INFORMATION CAN BE RETRIEVED FROM THE COMPUTER IN THE CAR.

TAKATA INFLATORS. I HAVE CALLED OCEAN HONDA MANY TIME TO SCHEDULE THIS RECALL. SERVICE DEPT. SAID PARTS ON ORDER AND WOULD BE PROCESS PER VEHICLE OWNERS REQUESTING REPAIR. I CALLED INITIALLY IN APRIL 2016 TO GET IN QUEUE; I CALL BACK IN JUNE 2016 AND THEY SAID I HADN'T CALLED BEFORE. VENTURA, CA IS A HIGH HUMIDITY LOCATION AND THUS SHOULD BE ONE OF THE FIRST TO GET REPAIRS. I'VE CALLED MULTIPLE TIME SINCE AND STILL "NO PARTS." MY DAUGHTER DRIVES THIS CAR WITH THIS POTENTIALLY LETHAL FLAW. I REQUEST NHTSA DO SOMETHING TO SPEED UP REMEDIATION AND ASSESS STIFF FINES FOR LACK OF COMPLIANCE. THANK YOU. *TR
TAKATA RECALL. SECOND RECALL FOR AIRBAG ISSUE, NOW PASSENGER SIDE. NO NOTIFICATION OR ANY INFORMATION FROM HONDA ABOUT THE REPAIR OF THIS ISSUE. THIS HAS LIMITED THE USE OF THIS VEHICLE AS NO PASSENGERS CAN RIDE IN THE FRONT.
TAKATA RECALL; THEY NOTIFIED ME LAST MAY, THAT MY AUTO MIGHT BE COVERED BY THE RECALL. THUS FAR, THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING. I FEEL LIKE THEY SHOULD AT LEAST DISCONNECT THE AIR BAG FOR MY FAMILIES SAFETY, RATHER THAN US DRIVING A TIME BOMB. IF THEY CANNOT REPAIR THIS DEFECT, THEY SHOULD MAKE SOME FORM OF CORRECTION; EITHER PURCHASE THE AUTO , SUPPLY SOMETHING SAFE TO DRIVE. TAKATA RECALL DEALER ORDERED REPLACEMENT AIRBAGS IN EARLY MAY. STILL NOT AVAILABLE.
I BROUGHT MY CAR IN TO BE REPAIRED AND THEY NOTIFIED ME THAT IT WOULD BE AN EXTENDED TIME THAT MY CAR WOULD BE OUT. I EXPLAINED THAT I DRIVE UBER AND THAT WAS MY MAIN FORM OF INCOME, WHEN I COULDN'T DRIVE A REGULAR ENTERPRISE, I SPOKE TO HONDA AND DID THE SECOND OPTION OF PAYING FOR IT UPFRONT AND BEING REIMBURSED 6-8 WEEKS AFTER I FILED MY RECEIPTS. THIS WAS GOING ON IN APRIL-MAY AND IT IS NOW SEPTEMBER. I AM OUT $1200 AND DO NOT KNOW HOW TO GET THEM TO REIMBURSE ME MY MONEY. THEY HAVE BEEN DRAGGING THEIR FEET ALWAYS REQUESTING MORE INFORMATION AND WANTING MORE AND NEEDING ME TO EXPLAIN. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS AND I WANT TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION. SO TIRED OF BEING STEPPED ON BY THE BIG GUY.
TAKATA RECALL - ON APRIL 15, 2016, I FIRST CALLED PACIFIC HONDA TO SCHEDULE REPAIR UNDER THIS RECALL. I HAVE CALLED BACK A NUMBER OF TIMES SINCE THEN AND HAVE YET TO RECEIVE AN APPOINTMENT FOR REPAIR OF THE AIRBAGS SUBJECT TO THIS RECALL.
TAKATA RECALL ITHACA CARSHARE IS A SMALL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION SERVING 1,400 COMMUNITY MEMBERS WITH 25 VEHICLES AVAILABLE FOR SELF-SERVE RESERVATIONS ON A 24/7 BASIS. SIX OF THESE VEHICLES ARE HONDA FITS AFFECTED BY THE TAKATA RECALL. FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR MEMBERS AND LIABILITY PURPOSES, WE REMOVED THESE VEHICLES FROM SERVICE ON APRIL 4, 2016. WE HAVE SPOKEN WITH BOTH OUR LOCAL HONDA DEALER AND HONDA CORPORATE MULTIPLE TIMES, AND THUS FAR BOTH HAVE REFUSED TO PROVIDE ANY COMPENSATION FOR THE LOSS OF REVENUE CAUSED BY THESE VEHICLES BEING UNSAFE TO DRIVE. EACH VEHICLE REQUIRES INSTALLATION OF SPECIALTY HARDWARE FOR OUR USE, SO SUBSTITUTE VEHICLES PROVIDED BY HONDA (WHICH HAVE NOT BEEN OFFERED) ARE NOT AN OPTION FOR US. AS EACH DAY GOES BY, WE LOSE $250-300 IN REVENUE, SO AS OF THIS WRITING WE HAVE LOST OVER $3,000. AS A SMALL NON-PROFIT, THIS RECALL HAS A HUGE EFFECT ON OUR BUDGET. WE EXPECT THAT OUR LOSSES WILL TOTAL AT LEAST $10,000, IF NOT MORE. FAILURE OF HONDA TO PROVIDE COMPENSATION FOR THIS LOSS IS BOTH INCONVENIENT AND UNACCEPTABLE. WE CONTINUE TO SEEK COMPENSATION FOR THIS LOSS AND REQUEST ANY ASSISTANCE YOU MAY OFFER ON OUR BEHALF.

TAKATA RECALL. HONDA TRIED TO INCREASES MY EXPOSURE BY SENDING ME TO CAR RENTAL BUSINESS WHICH WILLINGLY PLACES A $100 HOLD ON MY VISA AND THEN INCREASES MY EXPOSURE TO COST VIA "LOSS OF SERVICE". I DID NOT ACCEPT. I CALLED THE DEALER "SCOTT ROBINSON HONDA", TORRANCE, CA AND HONDA CORPORATE 800-999-1009 BOTH EXT. 4 AND 7 TO NO AVAIL. I REQUESTED MANAGEMENT AT HONDA CORPORATE CALL ME AS I NEEDED TO SPEAK WITH A PERSON WHO HAD AUTHORITY ON 04/06/2016. HONDA CORPORATE HAS NOT RETURNED MY CALL AS OF TODAY 04/09/2016. OUR 2011 HONDA FIT SITS IN THE DRIVEWAY SINCE 03/31/2016 WITH MILEAGE STOPPED AT 23,730, WAITING FOR PARTS TO ADDRESS TAKATA RECALL. MY REQUEST IS HONDA SUPPLY A HONDA CAR AT ZERO COST AND EXPOSURE TO THIS CUSTOMER!

TAKATA RECALL I WAS NOTIFIED THAT MY VEHICLE HAD A RECALL ON THE DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG AND NOT TO DRIVE IT. I DO NOT BELIEVE HONDA WILL BE ABLE TO REMEDY THIS DEFECT WITHIN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME. I WAS TOLD THE PARTS MAY BE AVALIABLE IN LATE SUMMER OF 2016. THEY HAVE OFFERED A RENTAL, WITHOUT THE OPTIONAL INSURANCE COVERAGE, BUT I WOULD PREFER IF THEY OFFERED A BUY BACK ON THE VEHICLE.

TAKATA RECALL: I IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED MY HONDA DEALER ABOUT THE DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG RECALL ON 3/24/15. OF COURSE I WANTED TO BE PUT ON A LIST FOR PRIORITY, EXPECTING FIRST COME FIRST SERVE, IN THE ABSENCE OF ANY OTHER KNOWN ORDERLY APPROACH TO THIS NIGHTMARISH ORDEAL. HOWEVER WHEN I CONTACTED THE LOCAL DEALER AND THE NATIONAL HONDA HOTLINE 6/21/6 FOR AN UPDATE, NEITHER COULD PROVIDE ANY NEW INSIGHT WHATSOEVER AFTER 3 MONTHS HAD PASSED. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. A MANUFACTURER CAN PROVIDE SOME AT LEAST REMOTELY ACCURATE DELIVERY ESTIMATE UPDATE AND DISSEMINATE THAT INFO. ALSO, SOMEONE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ACQUIRING THAT INFO, COORDINATING WITH OTHER ENTITIES AND DISSEMINATING THAT INFO. RATHER IMPORTANT WITH LIVES AT RISK. IF THESE PARTS ACTUALLY START TO TRICKLE IN, WE, AND EVERYONE INVOLVED, NEEDS TO KNOW TIME FRAMES, AND IF THERE IS A SYSTEM OF SOME SORT IN PLACE ,SO THAT DEALERS CAN PROVIDE A BETTER ANSWER THAN "I DON'T KNOW", AND THE CUSTOMER CAN KNOW THAT THEY HAVEN'T "FALLEN THRU THE CRACKS" WHICH IS PRETTY COMMON IN THE REAL WORLD. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE REAR AND DRIVER SIDE DOOR LATCHES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 34,000.
TAKATA INFLATORS. I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE IN MARCH 2016, AND WITHIN A DAY OR TWO CONTACTED MY LOCAL HONDA DEALER, MC GRATH HONDA, LOCATED AT 1411 E MAIN STREET IN ST CHARLES, IL. THEY SUPPOSEDLY PUT ME ON A WAITING LIST. I HAVE CALLED THEM 3 TIMES, AND EVEN STOPPED BY ONCE TO INQUIRE ON THE STATUS O MY VEHICLE. THEY HAVE NEVER CALLED ME BACK. EVEN ON MY DROP BY VISIT, I WAS NOT GIVEN AN ANSWER, JUST TOLD SOMEONE WOULD CALL ME BACK THE NEXT DAY...DID NOT HAPPEN. I HAVE NOW BEEN WAITING OVER 180 DAYS TO GET THE REPAIR. I HAVE EVEN CONTACTED THE HONDA DEALER SCHAUMBURG, IL, BUT HAVE HAD NO BETTER LUCK WITH THEM. IF THIS IS SUCH A SAFETY CONCERN, MAYBE THEY SHOULD CONCENTRATE ON FIXING THE CARS THAT ARE ALREADY ON THE ROAD. HELP ME GET MY CAR FIXED. I RELY ON IT TO TAKE MY HANDICAPPED MOTHER TO HER DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENTS IN CHICAGO.

IT STATED THAT HONDA WOULD CONTACT ME WHEN PARTS FOR MY FIT WERE AVAILABLE. CONSIDERING THAT THE AIR BAGS DEPLOY AND SPRAY SHRAPNEL INTO PEOPLE'S FACES AND EYES, IT WOULD SEEM URGENT TO GET THESE REPLACEMENT AIRBAGS TO HONDA'S CUSTOMERS. TO DATE, I HAVE HEARD NOTHING FURTHER FROM HONDA. I CAN'T SELL THIS CAR BECAUSE IT IS A "RECALL" CAR AND SHOULD NOT DRIVE IT FOR YEARS AND YEARS WITH THE DEFECT/MAIMING AIRBAGS. TAKATA RECALL HONDA IS TELLING ME THAT IT MAY BE A MONTH OR MORE BEFORE THEY WILL REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE PART. THEY VERIFIED THAT MY VIN NUMBER SHOWS MY CAR IS ONE OF THE RECALLED VEHICLES. I ASKED ABOUT A REPLACEMENT CAR, AND THEY SAID I WOULD HAVE TO RENT A CAR ON MY OWN, FOR A MONTH OR MORE, FILL OUT A REQUEST AND THEY MIGHT COVER SOME OF THE COST. I WORK APPROX. 18 MILES FROM HOME. RECENTLY MY 2011 HONDA FIT HAS BEEN HAVING INTERMITTENT POWER STEERING FAILURES. IT HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES IN ONE WEEK TO DATE WHERE I HAVE STARTED THE CAR TO DRIVE TO WORK IN THE MORNING AND THE STEERING IS VERY HEAVY FOR A FEW SECONDS LIKE AN OLD MANUAL STEERING CAR. THE POWER STEERING KICKED BACK IN ONCE AFTER CONTINUING TO DRIVE THE CAR AND ON THE OTHER TWO OCCASIONS AFTER STOPPING THE CAR AND RESTARTING IT.

I CONTACTED HONDA RIGHT AWAY AS I HAD JUST HAD THE DRIVER SIDE ONE REPLACED THAT TOOK ALMOST 3 MONTHS. WE ONLY HAVE 1 VEHICLE IN OUR FAMILY AND MY FIT IS NOT BIG ENOUGH FOR MY FAMILY. I SPOKE WITH HONDA ABOUT GETTING A RENTAL AS WE CANNOT USE THE FRONT SEAT SAFELY AND WAS DENIED A RENTAL AND WHEN I ASKED FOR AN APPEAL I WAS JUST PUT ON HOLD AND TOLD NO. I FEEL THAT HONDA HAS HANDLE THIS PART OF THE RECALL POORLY AND IN MY CASE SEVERELY AFFECTED WHAT MY FAMILY AND I CAN DO. THEY CLAIM I HAVE 5 SEATS WHICH WOULD BE GREAT IF THE BACK SEAT HELD 2 REGULAR SIZED ADULTS LET ALONE 2 TEENAGERS AND AN ADULT.

TODAY 06/08/2015 I GOT MY CAR BACK FROM MY LOCAL MECHANIC AFTER MAJOR SERVICE @93000 MILES. HE TOLD ME 3 OUT OF 4 SPARK PLUGS IN THE ENGINE WERE LOOSE(THEY WERE ONLY HAND-TIGHT): ONE WAS SECURED, ONE WAS ALMOST OUT OF THE ENGINE AND BLACKED OUT, AND TWO OF THEM WERE HALF WAY IN. THAT CORRELATED AN INCIDENCE AUGUST 2014 WHEN I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY. MY HONDA FIT SUDDENLY LOST POWER TO NO MORE THAN 20MPH. I GOT IT TOWED TO DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME ONE OF THE SPARK PLUG WAS COMPLETELY BLOWN OUT OF THE ENGINE, ALONG WITH THE IGNITION COIL. THE MILEAGE BACK THEN WAS ABOUT 80,000 AND I NEVER HAD ANY MAJOR SERVICE NOR EVEN OPENING UP THE ENGINE BLOCK BY ANYONE. SPARK PLUG SERVICE IS 100,000 MILE INTERVAL AND I DID ONLY OIL CHANGE IN LAST 3 YEARS BEFORE THE INCIDENCE. DEALER (DIAMOND HONDA, CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA) HAD THE ENGINE HEAD RE-THREADED AND AGREED TO PAY 70% OF THE TOTAL COST. HOWEVER I FOUND OUT TODAY THAT APPARENTLY ALL SPARK PLUGS WERE LOOSE EVEN WHEN THE CAR LEFT THE FACTORY! THE DEALER DID NOT TAKE A CLOSE LOOK WHEN THEY SERVICED IT LAST YEAR. THAT IS WHY ONE PLUG IS STILL INTACTED AND SECURED IN THE HEAD WHILE OTHER 3 WERE ONLY HAND-TIGHTEN. PLEASE INVESTIGATE OR INFORM OTHER FIT OWNER THAT THIS YEAR OR PROBABLY OTHER YEAR FITS HAVE HAND-TIGHTEN SPARK PLUGS THAT CAN LEAD TO SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER. MY INCIDENCE LAST YEAR ALMOST GOT ME INTO SERIOUS ACCIDENT WHILE I WAS ON CALIFORNIA CRAZY HIGHWAY.

DAUGHTER DRIVING 15 MILES AN HOUR AND WINDSHIELD CRACKED. THIS IS THE THIRD VEHICLE I HAVE OWNED THAT THE WINDSHIELD JUST BEGINS TO CRACK OR EXPLODES ON HONDA VEHICLES. I HAVE CALLED AN ASKED WHY THIS IS HAPPENING TO THEIR VEHICLES AND THEY CAN NOT ANSWER. I HAVE ALSO HAD ROLL OVERS IN A HONDA CIVIC AND NO AIRBAGS EXPLODED, HAVE A HONDA PILOT THAT HIT A TRUCK TIRE GOING 70 MILES AN HOUR AND RIPPED OUT THE WHOLE FRONT AND SIDE OF THE CAR AND NO AIR BAG EXPLODED. PASSENGER WINDSHIELD EXPLODED INTERNALLY WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE AT 75MPH THE FIRST TIME. CALLED HONDA AND THEY SAID THERE WAS NO ISSUE WITH IT. I HAD THE INSURANCE COMPANY REPLACE IT AT THAT TIME. NOW, AGAIN THIS MORNING, THE SAME WINDOW SHATTERED AGAIN INTERNALLY ON THE VEHICLE WHILE IT WAS SITTING IN OUR DRIVEWAY--ALL WINDOWS ARE ROLLED UP AND --KABOOM--IT EXPLODED. SOMETHING IS SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH THIS. ANY PASSENGER COULD HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY INJURED- I AM SHOCKED THAT HONDA HAS NOT RECALLED THIS FOR THIS MODEL GIVEN THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE BIG ON SAFETY. I HYDROPLANED, GOING 10 MPH UNDER THE SPEED LIMIT, HIT EVERY QUARTER PANEL ALONG THE GUARDRAIL (INCLUDING A HEAD-ON COLLISION WITH THE GUARD RAIL), AND OUT OF 10 AIRBAGS, NOT ONE DEPLOYED. I FELT LIKE I WAS BOUNCED AROUND THE CAR LIKE A RAG DOLL (YES, I WAS WEARING MY SEATBELT). CAR WAS TOTALED, I SUSTAINED SHOULDER, NECK, AND WRIST INJURIES, BUT WAS SHOCKED THAT AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. *TR
THE CAR IN FRONT STOPPED ON THE HIGHWAY BECAUSE OF ANOTHER DRIVER SWERVING TO EXIT. THIS CAUSED MY CAR TO REAR-END THE VEHICLE THAT WAS STOPPED DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ME. MY CAR SUFFERED SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE FRONT END. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY!! UPON LOOKING AT THE DAMAGE AFTER THE ACCIDENT, YOU COULD SEE THAT BOTH AIRBAG SENSORS WERE PHYSICALLY PUSHED BACK INTO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THEY WERE BOTH CLEARLY HIT, YET NEITHER DEPLOYED THE AIRBAGS. THANKFULLY NO ONE WAS INJURED. I WAS EXTREMELY LUCKY. WITH THAT SAID, WHAT GOOD ARE AIRBAGS IF THEY DON'T DEPLOY? ESPECIALLY IN A SEVERE FRONT-END COLLISION? MAKES NO SENSE TO ME. *TR
AFTER APPLYING THE BRAKES HARD ENOUGH FOR THE ANTI-LOCKING BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS) TO ENGAGE WHICH BROUGHT THE VEHICLE TO A FULL STOP, THE FRONT DISC BRAKES DID NOT IMMEDIATELY RELEASE UPON TAKING THE FOOT OFF THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE BRAKES REMAINED FULLY ENGAGED UNTIL THE ACCELERATOR WAS DEPRESSED (ABOUT 1/2 ACCELERATOR THROW) WHICH WAS SUFFICIENT TO OVERCOME THE ENGAGED BRAKES AND THE VEHICLE STARTED TO ROLL. AT THIS TIME, A "POPPING" SOUND WAS HEARD SIMULTANEOUSLY AS THE FRONT BRAKES RELEASED. THE SOUND AND THE IMMEDIATE RELEASE OF THE BRAKES WAS SIMILAR TO THAT OF WHEN A VEHICLE IS MOVED FOR THE FIRST TIME AFTER IT HAS BEEN SITTING FOR SOME TIME (DAYS OR WEEKS) IN A WET/HUMID CLIMATE AND A RUST BUILD UP HAS OCCURRED IN AND AROUND THE BRAKE PADS OR DRUMS. HIGHWAY CONDITIONS AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT WERE SUNNY AND DRY. AMBIENT AIR TEMPERATURE WAS ABOUT 90 DEGREES. THE TERRAIN WAS FLAT, AND THE VEHICLE HAD ONLY BEEN DRIVEN FOR APPROXIMATELY 10 MINUTES WITH LIGHT BRAKING AT THE OCCASIONAL RED LIGHT. THIS INCIDENT OCCURRED ON A MAIN THOROUGHFARE IN RELATIVE HEAVY TRAFFIC IN ORDER TO AVOID A VEHICLE WHO UNEXPECTEDLY ENTERED THE HIGHWAY AT A SLOW SPEED . THE SUBSEQUENT DELAY IN GETTING MY VEHICLE TO MOVE ALMOST RESULTED IN AN ACCIDENT WHERE VEHICLES APPROACHING FROM BEHIND DID NOT EXPECT TO FIND A STOPPED VEHICLE IN THE ROAD AND WERE FORCED TO STOP SUDDENLY THEMSELVES. *TR
