There is a very loud clunking or loud clicking sound coming from the front right brakes. I took the vehicle to the dealership to be looked at 4 times and the final determination was it was a brake clicking which the service advisor described as normal. The noise is so loud specially when cold it feels like something is going to break at some point. He said the manufacturer did this on purpose to keep the brakes from overheating. I have done some research and it has happened to many other Honda owners as well. It just feels so unsafe to drive a vehicle with that noise every time you drive it specially when its brakes related.
I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR 2 WEEKS. I PARKED THE FIT IN FRONT OF THE GARAGE, LEFT THE ENGINE RUNNING AND SET THE HANDBRAKE. I GOT OUT TO OPEN THE DOOR. I WAS 6 FEET FROM THE CAR WHEN I HEARD A METALLIC POP. I TURNED TO SEE IT ROLLING BACKWARDS DOWN THE DRIVE. I RAN TO IT BUT COULD NOT STOP IT. IT WAS SLOWED BY A MOUND OF DIRT AND STOPPED BY A SMALL TREE. I AM VERY SURE MY THUMB WAS NOT ON THE LEVER BUTTON. I WORKED THE LEVER MANY TIMES AND CAN DETECT NO UNUSUAL SOUND OR FEEL.
