2003 HONDA ODYSSEY VEHICLE QUALITY AND VEHICLE SERVICE***CC THE CONSUMER STATED THE DEALERSHIP WAS DOING DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES. THE CONSUMER STATED THE DEALERSHIP DID NOT DO ENOUGH TO HELP WITH THE PROBLEMS HE WAS EXPERIENCING WITH HIS VEHICLE. THE CONSUMER STATED AFTER THE RECALL WAS PERFORMED REGARDING THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, THE TCS AND ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. IT WAS LATER DETERMINED THAT THE PROBLEM WAS DUE TO A FAULTY EGR VALVE. THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE, SO THE DEALER RESET THE LIGHT, HOWEVER THE NEXT DAY IT ILLUMINATED AGAIN. THE CONSUMER WAS LATER INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT, WHICH THE CONSUMER BELIEVED WAS DUE TO MECHANICAL PROBLEMS WITH THE VEHICLE. THE CONSUMER STATED THE STEERING WAS OFF CENTER, IT WAS RECOMMENDED THAT AN ALIGNMENT BE PERFORMED, THE CONSUMER WAS TOLD THE STEERING PROBLEM WAS DUE TO THE ACCIDENT. *JB

2003 HONDA ODYSSEY WITH TRANSMISSION FAILURE. CONSUMER STATES THAT TRANSMISSION WAS FOUND NOT SWITCHING GEARS WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS WARMED UP. HE ALSO FOUND THAT THE FLUID WAS DIRTY. TRANSMISSION REPLACEMENT WOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM. *KB THE CONSUMER ALSO HAD THE FRONT AND SIDE ENGINE MOUNTS REPLACED. THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED AS WELL. *JB
CONSUMERS 2003 HONDA ODYSSEY TRANSMISSION SLIPS INTO NEUTRAL WHILE DRIVING FOR A COUPLE OF SECONDS THEN RETURNS TO NORMAL OPERATION. *TS THE CONSUMER STATED THE PROBLEM WITH THE TRANSMISSION OCCURRED RANDOMLY WHETHER THE CAR WAS COLD OR WARM. *JB
SEATBELT EXTENDERS ARE NOT OFFERED BY HONDA DEALERS. AN OVERWEIGHT PERSON CANNOT OBTAIN A SEATBELT EXTENDER BY PURCHASE OR FREE AFTER BUYING THE HONDA ODYSSEY 2003. NOT AVAILABLE IN U.S. AT ALL. CANNOT WEAR A SEATBELT WITHOUT EXTENDER LIKE CHRYSLER, DODGE AND FORD OFFER FROM PARTS DEPARTMENTS. PLEASE RESPOND AND HELP. NLM
CONSUMER STATES WHEN TOUCHING THE DRIVERS DOOR HE GETS A ELECTRIC SHOCK. DEARLER NOTIFIED . PLEASE PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. TS
WHEN STATRTI NG VEHICLE IT JERKS VIOLENTLY. DEALER NOTIFIED, SAID IT' WAS NORMAL USE OF PARKING BRAKING. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.*AK
PROBLEMS WITH VEHICLE'S TRANSMISSION AND AIR CONDITIONER.*MR OTHER PROBLEMS INCLUDED THE PASSENGER SEAT MOVING WHEN THE VEHICLE STOPS OR STARTS. TRANSMISSION SURGED ON OCCASIONS. THE AIR CONDITIONER FAILED AS A RESULT OF A HOLE IN THE CONDENSER WHICH COULD'VE BEEN CAUSED BY DEBRIS. THIS REPAIR WASN'T COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. WHEN THE SEATS WERE CHECKED, THE MECHANIC STATED IT WAS NORMAL DUE TO OTHER ODYSSEY VEHICLE'S ON THE LOT WITH MOVING SEATS. AFTER THE FACT, THE CONSUMER FELT AS THOUGH ALL PROBLEMS OR CONCERNS WERE NOT REPAIRED. *PH *JB
VEHICLE WAS BEING DRIVEN AT APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH, WHEN BRAKES WERE APPLIED, VEHICLE DID NOT STOP. VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM, AND TECHNICIAN SAID THEY COULD NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. OWNER WAS FRUSTRATED.*AK
WHILE DRIVING 55-60 MPH THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE CAUSE OF THE STALLING HAS NOT BEEN DETERMINED. *NM
WHILE DRIVING THE OWNER NOTICED THAT THE SLIDING DOOR INDICATOR LIGHT WAS FLASHING. HE ALSO HEARD THE DOOR CHIME RINGING WHICH INDICATES THAT THE DOOR WAS AJAR BUT THE DOOR WAS PROPERLY LOCKED. THE DEALERSHIP HAS BEEN CONTACTED. *NM
THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS STOPPED WORKING WITHOUT WARNING. *NM
THE CONSUMER EXPERIENCED A PROBLEM WITH THE ABS. THE BRAKES CLICKED WHEN BEING APPLIED. THERE WAS ALSO A LOUD KNOCKING SOUND IN THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED. PROVIDE FURTHER DETAILS. *JB
