Dealer sold me a lemon car with broken and rotten parts on the car. Dealer never stated the car was messed up or needed the major work it needs now. Dealer at one point took the car to go get inspected at a shop located on 705 Jefferson Ave , "and hour later he came back with the car and parked it. Couple days later dealer called me to go get the inspector form form the inspector " Gilbert/Tony". While viewing the paper correctly, the car was never inspected properly. Once I was able to take the car to a shop to do my own inspection they stated to me that I was sold a lemon car and it would be almost thousands to fix the car "more then i had purchase the car. I called the dealer back multiple times and sent msgs to the dealer regarding the vehicle dealer then blocked my number and the mechanics phone I used to call him after he blocked my number. As of now I am trying to figure out a way to get this car fix and filing a complaint report against this dealer to at lease get justices from this dealer and for him to get his business SHUT DOWN due to selling people as in myself broken lemon cars.
THE RELATIVELY NEW TIRE (29000 MILES DRIVEN) DID BURST ON THE SIDE. THE DISCOUNT TIRE STORE REPRESENTATIVE COULDN'T EXPLAIN WHY? I HAVE PICTURES THAT I CAN SEND YOU. IN ADDITION TO THE BILLS I INCURRED IN THE REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT. TOTAL COST $140.30 IN TOTAL. THE DEALER BELIEVES IT IS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT.
TIRES WERE PURCHASED NEW AND WERE 2 DAYS OLD. CRACK IN SIDEWALL DEVELOPED WHILE DRIVING HOME FROM WORK.
SPARE TIRE SEPARATED FROM 2007 HONDA PILOT. CAUSE WAS A FRAYED CABLE THAT HELD THE TIRE IN PLACE UNDER THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. THE CABLE BROKE WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION, AND THE TIRE FELL OFF THE VEHICLE AND BOUNCED DOWN THE ROAD. FORTUNATELY IT DID NOT STRIKE CARS TO THE REAR. THERE WAS NO PREVIOUS INDICATION OF ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE SPARE TIME MOUNTING SYSTEM. PHOTOS ARE AVAILABLE. *TR
SINCE ORIGINALLY GETTING OUR 2007 HONDA PILOT WE HAVE HAD REPEATED ISSUES WITH THE TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM. I BELIEVE 6 SENSORS HAVE BEEN REPLACED. I CURRENTLY HAVE THIS ISSUE AGAIN AND THE DEALER HAS SAID THAT THEY HAVE NO FIX FOR THE PROBLEM AND THE CAR IS OUT OF WARRANTY BECAUSE IT NOW HAS 52,000 MILES ON IT. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE AS IT IS ON ALL THE TIME AND I NEVER KNOW IF I TRULY HAVE A PROBLEM. I DRIVE ON THE HIGHWAY FOR WORK AND AM TRAVELING AT HIGHER RATES OF SPEED. *TR
I HAVE A 2007 HONDA PILOT EX. THERE WERE A COUPLE OF INCIDENTS THAT THE BRAKE/ OEM TIRES (GOODYEAR MADE INTEGRITY) ARE NOT RESPONSIVE WELL DURING SUDDEN BRAKING ON DRY ROAD. THE TIRES WAS NOT ABLE STOP THE CAR FROM SLIPPING AND CAUSE THE ABS BRAKE TO BE ACTIVE. I CONTACT HONDA DEALER A COUPLE TIMES AND WERE TOLD THAT THE CONDITION WAS NORMAL FOR THIS CAR, NO PROBLEM FOUND. I THEN REPLACED ALL TIRES TO MICHELIN. NOW THE CAR BRAKING IS MUCH MORE RESPONSIVE. *TR
TIRES SLIP CONSISTENTLY UPON RIGHT TURN IN RAIN, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO HYDROPLANE AND LOSE CONTROL. NO MATTER HOW SLOW I MAKE THE TURN. THIS OCCURS EVEN WHEN STOPPED BEFORE SLOWLY TURNING RIGHT. I HAVE NEVER OWNED A VEHICLE THAT DID THIS BEFORE. EXTREMELY UNSAFE. *CN
I HAVE A 2007 HONDA PILOT WITH ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT TIRES. THEY ARE BRIDGESTONE DUELER H/T 684. I HAVE 11,700 MILES ON THE VEHICLE. I WAS RIDING TODAY IN A LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN AND HYDROPLANED ACROSS THE LANE AFTER RUNNING THROUGH SOME STANDING WATER. THE TIRES ARE WORN TO THE POINT THAT THEY ARE NOT SAFE TO DRIVE. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HONDA PILOT. THE VEHICLE HAS GOODYEAR INTEGRITY, SIZE 175/70R13 TIRES. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE CONTACT HEARD A FUNNY SOUND AND THEN THE DRIVER SIDE REAR TIRE BLEW OUT. THE STABILIZER FAILED WHEN IT WAS STRUCK BY THE TIRE, ALONG WITH THE SHOCK ABSORBER. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO A GAS STATION. THE CONTACT CALLED THE DEALER AND A MECHANIC ARRIVED AND CHANGED THE TIRE. HE THEN TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE HONDA DEALER. THE HONDA DEALER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT GOODYEAR WOULD REPLACE THE TIRE; HOWEVER, THEY STILL HAVE NOT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TIRES WERE INSPECTED THREE DAYS PRIOR TO THE BLOW OUT AND THERE WERE NO FAILURES AT THAT TIME. HONDA SENT THE REMAINS OF THE TIRE TO GOODYEAR. GOODYEAR SENT A DISCLAIMER, WHICH STATED THAT THE TIRE HAD A LEAK THAT CAUSED IT TO BLOW OUT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE HAD A MECHANISM IN HER VEHICLE THAT WOULD HAVE INFORMED HER IF THE TIRE PRESSURE WAS LOW. THE CURRENT MILEAGE, DOT NUMBER, AND PURCHASE DATE WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 6,853.

WE LEASED A NEW 2007 HONDA PILOT ON 12/29/07. WITHIN TWO WEEKS WE HAD 2 SEPARATE FLAT TIRES. TWO WEEKS LATER A THIRD TIRE WENT FLAT DUE TO A LEAKING VALVE. UPON CLOSER INSPECTION THAT TIRE TOO HAD BEEN PATCHED. THE DEALER CONFIRMED THAT IT WENT FLAT BEFORE DELIVERY AND THEY PATCHED IT. THIS MEANS THAT 3 OUT OF 4 TIRES WENT FLAT IN LESS THAN 1000 MILES. THE TIRES ON THE 2007 HONDA ODYSSEY -- TOURING MODEL -- ARE MICHELIN PAX -RUN FLAT TIRES. YOU CANNOT TAKE THE VEHICLE TO JUST ANY TIRE REPAIR SHOP TO FIX A FLAT, YOU MUST GO TO A DEALERSHIP THAT HAS THE APPROPRIATE EQUIPMENT. THIS MEANS MAKING AN APPOINTMENT (WAITING A DAY) AND HOPEFULLY YOU ARE CLOSE TO A MAJOR CITY. I SPOKE WITH A REPRESENTATIVE AT MICHELIN TIRES AND THEY SAID IF I WERE TO BE IN A REMOTE LOCATION THEY WOULD SEND A TIRE OUT TO ME & PAY FOR ACCOMMODATIONS UNTIL I RECEIVED THE TIRES. HONDA & MICHELIN ARE NOT SET UP TO PROVIDE THE CONSUMER WITH SERVICE/ACCESSIBILITY TO MAINTAIN THIS TIRE. I FEEL HONDA SHOULD HAVE INFORMED ABOUT THE PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PRODUCT AND GIVEN ME A CHOICE. I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED A CAR WITH THESE TIRES. I HAVE 3 SMALL CHILDREN AND NOW HAVE TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT GETTING A FLAT TIRE IN A REMOTE LOCATION, AND FEAR FOR OUR PERSONAL SAFETY. I CHOOSE NOW TO ONLY TRAVEL NEAR MAJOR CITIES. HONDA SAID I WOULD NEED NEW RIMS & TIRES... AND THEY DO NOT SEEM TO WANT TO HELP. I AM HOPING YOU CAN PROVIDE ME WITH A CONTACT OR GIVE ME SOME INFO ON HOW TO GET THESE TIRES OFF MY VEHICLE. ALSO SHOULDN'T HONDA BE WILLING TO REPLACE A PRODUCT THAT HAS ISSUES ASSOCIATED WITH IT. WHEN I HAD MY FLAT TIRE I TOOK MY CAR TO 3 TIRE SHOPS AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD NOT TOUCH THE PAX-TIRE & THEY HAD NO PLANS ON ACQUIRING THE EQUIPMENT TO FIX THEM BECAUSE IT WAS TOO EXPENSIVE AND NOT ENOUGH VEHICLES HAVE THE TIRE SYSTEM TO MAKE IT COST EFFECTIVE. HONDA FIRST NEEDS TO BETTER INFORM THE CONSUMER WHAT THEY ARE GETTING INTO AND THE ISSUES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS TIRE SYSTEM... SECOND THEY NEED TO PROVIDE THOSE OF US WHO DON'T WANT THE TIRES A WAY TO SWITCH THEM OUT. IT COST ABOUT $150.00 TO FIX A FLAT! PLEASE HELP ME GET THESE TIRES REPLACED!!!! *JB
