TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 HUMMER H2. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 35-40 MPH WHEN THE TRANSMISSION BEGAN TO SLIP. THE CONTACT MOVED FROM THE ROADWAY AND SHUT OFF THE ENGINE. WHEN RESTARTING, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT RESPOND TO LOWER GEARS. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO LOCATE A RECALL FOR THE FAILURE (NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 03V075000- POWER TRAIN: AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION) BUT WAS ADVISED BY BOTH THE DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURER THAT HIS VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 124,000.
I WAS UNAWARE OF THE RECALL 08V456000 UNTIL THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS ON MY HUMMER H2 BEGAN UNTIL THE FRONT WINDSHIELD WIPERS STARTED TO WORK INTERMITTENTLY AND THEN BECAME INOPERATIVE. GM ISSUED A SECOND RECALL FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE ENTIRE MOTOR, BUT SAID MY VIN FELL OUTSIDE OF THE RECALL POINTS. I AM HAVING A VERY DIFFICULT TIME FINDING A REPLACEMENT MOTOR AT A PRICE I CAN AFFORD. GM SAYS IT IS JUST MY PROBLEM. I HAVE A YOUNG CHILD AND AM UNABLE TO USE MY VEHICLE AS I NEED TO BECAUSE OF CONCERN FOR HIS SAFETY. GM IS RECALLING 13,358 MY 2003 HUMMER H2 VEHICLES. SOME OF THESE VEHICLES HAVE A CONDITION IN WHICH WATER CAN ENTER THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR MODULE. IF A SUFFICIENT AMOUNT OF WATER ENTERS THE MODULE, OVER TIME, THE FRONT WINDSHIELD WIPERS MAY WORK INTERMITTENTLY OR THEY MAY BECOME INOPERATIVE CONSEQUENCE IF THIS WERE TO OCCUR, DRIVER VISIBILITY COULD BE REDUCED, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE CRASH. REMEDY DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MODULE COVER, AND REPLACE THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MODULE COVER FREE OF CHARGE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 HUMMER H2. THE CONTACT STATED THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS REMAINED ACTIVATED. THE FUSE WAS PULLED AND THE CONTACT STATED THE WIPERS WOULD ONLY OPERATE ON HIGH, WHEN THEY WOULD ENGAGE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INSPECTED BY THE DEALER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 58,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE 60,000.
WINDSHIELD MOTOR BEGAN RUNNING ON ITS OWN. WIPER FLUID BEGAN SQUIRTING ON ITS OWN. WOULD NOT RESPOND TO CONTROL. RECALL NOTICE DOCUMENT ID # 1197628 STATES THE RECALL IS TO REPLACE A COVER OVER THE MOTOR TO PREVENT IT FROM FAILING....... WHEN I TOOK MY TRUCK TO HAVE THE RECALL PERFORMED THEY CHANGED THE COVER? LEAVING THE MOTOR INOPERABLE. I AM SURE THIS WAS NOT THE INTENTION OF THE RECALL. *TR
I HAVE A 2003 HUMMER H2. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER. IN 2005 THE WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER MODULE FAILED DURING HEAVY RAINS. THE DEALER REPLACED IT UNDER WARRANTY. ON JANUARY 21, 2010, DURING HEAVY RAINS, IT FAILED AGAIN. I LOOKED UP THE MODULE ON THE INTERNET TO FIND OUT THAT IN 2008, 2003 HUMMERS WERE RECALLED FOR THIS VERY REASON. UNFORTUNATELY, MY VIN NUMBER WAS NOT WITHIN THOSE RECALLED. I SAW POSTS REGARDING THE FAILURE OF THIS MODULE ON MANY OTHER YEARS. I CONTACTED GMC, AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD NOT REPLACE THE MODULE BECAUSE IT WAS NOT ON THE RECALL LIST. THEY ALSO TOLD ME THAT THEY ONLY RECALL MODELS WHEN THE NHTSA FORCES THEM TO, AND THEY DO NOT VOLUNTEER ANY RECALL. THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND THEY SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS OBSCURE UNIT FAILING. NO OTHER CAR IN THE WORLD HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM, ONLY HUMMER. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 HUMMER H2. WHEN THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO USE THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS SHE NOTICED THAT OCCASIONALLY THEY WOULD NOT FUNCTION. THE CONTACT HAS TO TURN THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS ON AND OFF SEVERAL TIMES IN ORDER FOR THE WIPERS TO WORK PROPERLY. THE REAR WINDSHIELD WIPERS ALSO FAILED INTERMITTENTLY. THE DEALER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 40000.
I HAVE A 2003 HUMMER H2, AND I HAVE A FEW BROKEN BOLTS ON MY EXHAUST MANIFOLDS. I'VE LEARNED THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH THESE ENGINES THROUGH ONLINE RESEARCH. ALSO I HAD TO REPLACE MY CATALYTIC'S BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE. MY MECHANIC HAS TOLD ME THAT THIS IS A VERY EXPENSIVE REPAIR, CAN ANYONE HELP ME? *TT

THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY THE DEALER AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE MODULE FAILED DUE TO EXCESSIVE WATER. THE MODULE WAS REPLACED, BUT NOT THE MOTOR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 75,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 HUMMER H2. THE CONTACT STATED THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS WERE ACTIVATED YET SHE WAS UNABLE TO DEACTIVATE THEM. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP WHERE THEY WERE UNSUCCESSFUL IN ATTEMPTING TO DEACTIVATE THE WIPERS. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE WIPER MODULE WAS REPLACED BUT TO NO AVAIL. THE CONTACT WENT BACK TO THE REPAIR FACILITY WHERE THEY DIAGNOSED THE FAILURE WITHIN THE MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH DUE TO EXCESSIVE MOISTURE. THE CONTACT INQUIRED WITH THE MANUFACTURER ABOUT AN UNKNOWN RECALL HOWEVER, SHE WAS UNABLE TO CONFIRM IF HER VIN WAS INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE VIN INFORMATION WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 63,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 HUMMER H2. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHENEVER IT WOULD RAIN, WATER WOULD LEAK INTO THE VEHICLE THROUGH THE SUN ROOF SEAL, INTERCOM AND FROM THE REAR ROOF. THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE WOULD BECOME FLOODED. NEITHER THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED TO REPORT THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NEITHER DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. I WAS TAKING A TURN ON AN ON RAMP TO THE INTERSTATE AND MY WHEEL FELL OFF. I DON'T KNOW HOW OR WHY BUT MY TIRE CAME OFF THE VEHICLE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 HUMMER H2. WHILE BARELY MOVING AT LESS THAN 1 MPH, THE CONTACT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE IN THE BRAKING SYSTEM DUE TO THE RUSTED BRAKE LINES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE HOSES AND CALIPERS WERE REPLACED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 28,071. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 29,000. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 HUMMER HUMMER H2. THE CONTACT STATED THAT UPON STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS TURNED ON. THE WIPERS WOULD NOT SHUT OFF UNTIL THE VEHICLE WAS SHUT OFF. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS WOULD INTERMITTENTLY NOT FUNCTION DURING RAINY WEATHER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO HAVE THE FAILURE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 02V283000 (VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER:MOTOR). TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 HUMMER H2. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH IN RAINY WEATHER WITH THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS ACTIVATED, THE WIPERS WOULD INTERMITTENTLY PAUSE WHILE IN MOTION. THE FAILURE PERSISTED UNTIL THE WIPERS BECAME INOPERABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT HIS VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 08V456000 (VISIBILITY: WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER: MOTOR). THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 94,000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 HUMMER H2. THE ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE REPAIR SHOP. THE MECHANIC REPLACED THE GAS CAP. IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE REPAIR, SHE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE GAS STATION AND NOTICED THAT FUEL WAS SPEWING OUT. IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE GAS ELBOW AND TANK WERE CRACKED. THE REPAIR SHOP REPLACED THE ELBOW AND GAS TANK WITH A STRONGER METAL AT THE COST OF $1,700. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OUT OF WARRANTY; THEREFORE, THEY WOULD NOT ASSIST. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A CALL FROM GMC TO CONDUCT A SURVEY. GMC WANTED TO KNOW IF SHE WOULD PURCHASE ANOTHER GM VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 78,000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 HUMMER H2. WHEN THE CONTACT ACTIVATED THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS, THEY MADE A LOUD REVVING NOISE AS IF THE MOTOR WAS DEFECTIVE. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 02V283000 (VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER:MOTOR); HOWEVER, THERE WAS AN ADDITIONAL OPEN RECALL FOR THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR COVER (NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 08V456000: (VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER:MOTOR)). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THEY STATED THAT THE REPAIRS HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY PERFORMED. THE DEALER WANTED TO CHARGE FOR THE REPAIRS AND STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT YET PAID FOR THE SERVICES, WHICH IS WHY IT WAS SHOWN AS AN OPEN RECALL. NO REPAIRS HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE LESS THAN 60,700.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 HUMMER H2. THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR FAILED AFTER WATER BUILT UP UNDER THE COVER AND RUINED THE BEARINGS. NHTSA ID#08V456000 CAMPAIGN, VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER:MOTOR IS RELATED TO THE FAILURE. THE FRONT WINDSHIELD WIPERS BEGAN WORKING INTERMITTENTLY. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY HAVE TO REPAIR THE COVER AND THE MOTOR IS AT THE OWNERS EXPENSE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 46,000.
WIPER COVER RECALL NOTICE 08243. TOOK VEHICLE IN, WIPERS HAD ALREADY STOPPED WORKING. TOLD CREST CADILLAC THIS WHEN I CALLED. THEY REPLACED THE COVER ON A MOTOR THAT WAS BROKEN ALREADY. WOULD NOT REPLACE THE MOTOR. NOTE ON INSPECTION REPORT SAID WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. CALLED GM SEVERAL TIMES AND WAS TO RECALL WAS FOR MOTOR COVER AND NOT MOTOR. I WOULD SAY, YES BUT BECAUSE THE COVER IS DEFECTIVE AND ALLOWED WATER IN THE MOTOR ASSEMBLY IT HAS STOPPED WORKING. WOULD NOT REPLACE OR COVER CHARGES. WENT TO SEE MANAGER OR REPAIR SHOP, HE SAID HE COULD NOT REPLACE MOTOR WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION OR HE WOULD NOT GET REIMBURSED FOR CHARGES. FILLED COMPLAIN WITH BBB. GOT CALL FROM GM WITHIN 3 DAYS, AFTER ANSWERING HER QUESTIONS SHE TOLD ME THEY COULD WOULD NOT REPLACE THE MOTOR AT THIS TIME. CALLED MANAGER OF CREST CADILLAC AND GAVE HER INFO. SHE SAID SHE WOULD CALL ME BACK. I NEVER HEARD FROM HER. DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW. *TR
SEAT WARMERS DEFECTIVE. DEALER SAYS THE CUSHION & WIRES ARE FRIED & NEED TO BE REPLACED. DOES NOT NORMALLY HAPPEN. THIS IS A POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARD. *TR

HE RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE AND THE DEALER REPLACED THE WIPERS ACCORDING TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 08V456000 (VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER:MOTOR). AFTER THE REPAIR, THE FAILURE WORSENED AND THE WIPERS STOPPED WORKING COMPLETELY. THE CONTACT RETURNED TO THE DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE FAILURE WAS A DIRECT RESULT OF THE RECALL. THE CONTACT WOULD HAVE TO PAY $600 TO HAVE THE WIPERS REPAIRED AGAIN. THE MANUFACTURER OFFERED HIM A $500 COUPON TOWARD HIS NEXT PURCHASE FROM THEM, BUT DID NOT ASSIST WITH THE WIPER FAILURE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 90,000.

THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 08V456000 (VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER:MOTOR) AND IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE DEALER TO HAVE THE VEHICLE REPAIRED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE PARTS FOR THE REPAIR WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER REFERRED HIM TO ANOTHER DEALER, WHO CHARGED $463 TO REPAIR THE WINDSHIELD MODULE. THE MANUFACTURER APOLOGIZED FOR THE MISUNDERSTANDING, BUT STATED THAT THEY WOULD NOT REIMBURSE HIM FOR THE REPAIR. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 60,000.
NEED TO REPLACE BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR MODULE. IT QUIT WORKING AND WE HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REPLACE PART SINCE SEPT 2008. GM INFORMED ME THEY DO NOT CURRENTLY MAKE THIS PART. I FEEL IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE DUE TO ICE/FROST AND OR CONDENSATION FORMING ON THE INSIDE OF THE WINDOWS DUE TO THE COLD WEATHER HERE. IT MAKES VISIBILITY SLIM TO NONE. I WAS TOLD IT WOULD TAKE AT LEAST A MONTH TO FIND SOMEONE TO MAKE THIS PART...THAT WAS 2 MONTHS AGO. JUST SINCE SEPT 2008 THERE ARE ALMOST 500 PEOPLE HUNTING THIS SAME PART, WE ARE #8 ON THE LIST. I FEEL DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME IT SHOULD BE HANDLED AS A RECALL...REPLACED FREE OF CHARGE AS WELL AS FREE LABOR, AND A RENTAL CAR PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE UNTIL GM/HUMMER CAN FIX MY VEHICLE SO I CAN HAVE THE USE OF IT. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 HUMMER H2. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH IN THE RAIN, THE WINDSHIELD MOTOR STOPPED WORKING. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 02V283000 (VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER:MOTOR); THEREFORE, THEY WOULD NOT REPLACE THE MOTOR. THE CONTACT INSISTED THAT THE DEALER REPLACE THE MOTOR; HOWEVER, THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY WOULD ONLY DO SO IF IT IS APPROVED BY THE MANUFACTURER. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 65,000.
MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON CONSTANTLY EVEN AFTER OIL CHANGES AND CHECK UPS. I HAVE ALSO NOTICED EVER SINCE THIS HAS STARTED TO OCCUR MY SPEEDOMETER HAS BEEN PERIODICALLY STICKING ON 120MPH WHEN GOING AT A VERY SLOW SPEED AND STAYING ON 60MPH WHILE IN PARK. I FIND THIS VERY DANGEROUS AS I DO NOT KNOW THE SPEED I AM TRAVELING AND HAVE RECEIVED A SPEEDING TICKET WHEN IT WAS READING THAT I WAS GOING SLOWER THAN I WAS ACTUALLY TRAVELING. SOMETIMES IT WILL NOT WORK AT ALL , SOMETIMES IT WILL READ I AM GOING SLOWER THAN MY ACTUAL SPEED AND I DID NOT KNOW THIS UNTIL I GOT A TICKET. BUT SOON AFTER THIS INCIDENT IS WHEN THE SPEEDOMETER KEPT STICKING AT 120MPH AND ACTUALLY LOOKING LIKE MY SPEEDOMETER NEEDLE MIGHT BRAKE OFF. THIS HAS CAUSED A HUGE DISTRACTION WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. I AM NOT A SPEED EXPERT AND SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE SPEED I AM TRAVELING WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. I NEED TO HAVE MY FULL ATTENTION ON DRIVING NOT WORRYING ABOUT MY SPEED BECAUSE IT IS FAULTY AND INACCURATE. THIS VEHICLE IS HARD ENOUGH TO KEEP ON THE ROAD AS IT IS! *TR
I OWN A 2003 HUMMER H2, THAT HAS THE SAME ISSUES WITH THE WIPERS AS THAT OF THE RECALL. I AM BEING TOLD THAT MY VIN NUMBER DOES NOT FALL INTO THE EFFECTED UNITS AND THAT I AM OUT OF LUCK. MY SYSTEM ALSO RELEASES THE WIPER FLUID NON STOP. *TR

I HAVE A SEVERE RATTLE COMING FROM MY SUNROOF AND SUNROOF REFLECTOR AND THE SUNROOF DOES NOT OPERATE TO THE OPEN POSITION BUT WILL VENT OPEN BUT WHEN IT IS IN THE CLOSED POSITION IT RATTLES AND SHAKES LOOKS LIKE IT IS GOING TO FLY OFF AND I AM VERY WORRIED THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN. I ALSO SEEM TO HAVE A "CAR-POOL" EVERY TIME IT RAINS BECAUSE IT LEAKS BADLY EVEN WHEN ITS BEING WASHED OR IN A LIGHT SHOWER. THERE IS ALOT OF WATER DAMAGE ON THE HEADLINER AND WATER STAINS AS WELL. AND MY VEHICLE SEEMS TO END WET INSIDE AFTER A RAIN SHOWER OR STORM. THE LEAK ITSELF IS NOT A HUGE ISSUE BUT THE RATTLE IS. THE SUNROOF IS GOING TO EVENTUALLY FLY OFF, THIS IS INEVITABLE ! I HAVE TAKEN IT TO BE CHECKED & NO ONE CAN FIGURE THE CAUSE. I DO NOT WANT TO EVEN THINK ABOUT WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF THE GLASS FLIES OFF & DO NOT WANT TO BE THE CAUSE OF SOMEONE DYING OR BECOMING BADLY INJURED. I ALSO HAVE NOTICED THAT I HAVE WAY TOO MUCH STEERING AND IT TENDS CAUSE ME TO OVER CORRECT AND GO INTO THE DITCH OR OFF THE ROAD. WHILE TURNING DOWN A CITY STREET THE LEFT FRONT WHEEL OF MY 2003 HUMMER 2 BROKE OFF FROM THE AXLE, AND THE VEHICLE DROPPED ONTO ITS BELLY ON THE LEFT FRONT SIDE. IT WAS TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP AND REPORTED TO THEM. THEIR RESPONSE HAS BEEN "WHATEVER, TOO BAD" BUT THERE ARE ONLY 68,000 MILES ON IT AND THIS FAILURE HAS BEEN REPORTED IN THESE VEHICLES BEFORE. ON APRIL 22, 2008 MY SON WAS DRIVING MY H2 AND WAS TRYING TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE LEFT TO CHANGE LANES QUICKLY DUE TO A CAR MAKING A RIGHT HAND TURN IN FRONT OF HIM. WHEN HE TURNED THE STEERING TO THE LEFT THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL FELL OFF AND CAUSED HIM TO SLIDE INTO THE CAR MAKING THE RIGHT TURN. I AM THANKFUL IT HAPPENED WHEN HE WAS CHANGING LANES GOING ONLY 10-15 MILES PER HOUR INSTEAD OF IT HAPPENING WHILE CHANGING LANES ON THE FREEWAY DOING 65 TO 70 MILES PER HOUR. WE WROTE TO GMC AS WELL AS OUR WARRANTY PEOPLE AND MY INSURANCE, MERCURY, AND THEY ALL SAID IT WAS NOT A MALFUNCTION IN WAS MY SONS FAULT. WE HAD TO PAY OUT OVER $1800 IN RENTAL CAR FEES AND THEN WHEN WE FOUND OUT WE WERE GOING TO HAVE TO PAY AND CLAIM IT ON OUR INSURANCE WE DID WITHOUT A CAR FOR OVER 3 MONTHS WHILE THE H2 WAS BEING REPAIRED. WE WERE OUT $2573 IN REPAIRS TO REPLACE THE KNUCKLE AND OTHER STEERING PARTS VIA MARVIN K. BROWN AUTO CENTER. WE FINALLY GOT IT BACK AND NOW ONLY A YEAR LATER IT IS SHOWING SIGNS OF THE SAME THING HAPPENING AGAIN. IT HAS A MIND OF ITS OWN WHEN IT WANTS TO HAVE POWER STEERING OR NOT, IT ALSO TURNS TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT WHEN THE BRAKE IS APPLIED. I AM VERY AFRAID THAT I OR SOMEONE ELSE DRIVING MY VEHICLE IS GOING TO GET SERIOUSLY HURT IF THIS HAPPENS AGAIN.
