AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT ON THE DASH CAME ON, WAS RESET, AND CAME BACK ON CONSTANTLY AND REPORTED TO LIKELY NOT WORK PROPERLY. IT'S EXPECTED TO COST ALMOST $2000 TO REPLACE. THIS BEGAN TO HAPPEN ONLY WHEN I WAS DRIVING AND NOW IS CONSTANT. NOW IT'S ESSENTIALLY UNSAFE FOR ANYONE TO SIT IN MY FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. IN ADDITION, MY TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING LIGHT HAS ALSO COME ON CONSTANTLY AND THE DEALER HAS REPORTEDLY ATTEMPTED TO REPLACE AND RESET AND SWITCH OUT THE MONITORS IN ALL OF THE TIRES AND THAT INDICATOR LIGHT HAS YET TO BE FIXED. THIS STARTED WHEN THE CAR WAS JUST TURNED ON, STATIONARY. I AM STARTING TO GET A CHRISTMAS TREE LOOKING DASHBOARD. IN ADDITION, THE DOOR BEHIND THE DRIVER'S SIDE HAS BECOME STUCK AND WON'T OPEN, DUE TO REPORTEDLY ALLOWING WATER IN FOR THE HANDLE TO RUST. AS WELL AS ABOUT A YEAR AGO MY DRIVER'S SIDE VISOR JUST SUDDENLY FELL OUT OF THE CEILING WHILE I WAS DRIVING. THIS IS LITERALLY THE WORST CAR I'VE EVER OWNED.
MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER NEARLY GOT INTO AN ACCIDENT WHEN THE POWER STEERING COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING WHILE SHE WAS DRIVING. WE SEE THAT HYUNDAI HAS HAD RECALLS ON THE TORQUE SENSOR/STEERING COLUMN BUT INFORMED US THAT OUR CAR WAS NOT COVERED UNDER RECALL. HYUNDAI ADVISED OUR HYUNDAI DEALERSHIP TO COMPLETELY REPLACE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING COLUMN AND EPS COLUMN IN ORDER TO INSURE SAFE DRIVING. THIS COST US $2,260.75 ON A CAR WITH ONLY 28,000 MILES. WE CANNOT BELIEVE THAT HYUNDAI IS NOT STANDING BY ITS PRODUCT AND ONLY DOING "SELECTIVE RECALL". WE AVOIDED A VERY SERIOUS ACCIDENT WHICH WOULD HAVE RESULTED IN DIRE CONSEQUENCES FOR HYUNDAI. PLEASE HELP US EXPAND THIS RECALL AND RECOUP SOME OF OUR EXPENSE. WE WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER HYUNDAI. A COMPANY THAT MANUFACTURERS AND SELLS DANGEROUS VEHICLES SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 HYUNDAI ELANTRA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT A LOW SPEED, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME VERY DIFFICULT TO TURN. THE CONTACT HAD TO APPLY FORCE TO THE STEERING WHEEL IN ORDER TO STEER THE VEHICLE. THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING COLUMN NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V100000 (STEERING). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 64,900.
I HIT A DEER ON HIGHWAY 890 IN ROTTERDAM NY, SPUN OUT OF CONTROL AND HIT THE GUARDRAIL, CAR HAD DAMAGE ALL AROUND, THE MOST DAMAGE WAS IN THE FRONT RESULTING IN A TOTALED VEHICLE, MY WHOLE FRONT END IS GONE, AND NO AIRBAGS DEPLOYED, WE WERE TRAVELING DOING ABOUT 60 MILES PER HOUR
RECEIVE SERVICE CAMPAIGN NOTIFICATION TO APPLY RUST-PROOFING MATERIALS TO UNDERBODY TO ARREST THE CORROSION PROCESS. TOOK CAR TO LOCAL HYUNDAI DEALER FOR RUST-PROOFING AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE OIL PAN IS RUSTED AND NEEDS REPLACED AT A COST TO ME OVER $600 - I HAVE WRITTEN ESTIMATE FROM HYUNDAI DEALER. INFORMED THAT OIL PAN NEEDS REPLACED BECAUSE IF IT FAILS THAT OIL WILL LEAK OUT AND DAMAGE\RUIN ENGINE. TOLD HYUNDAI WOULD NOT COVER OIL PAN REPLACEMENT UNDER WARRANTY AS I AM NOT THE ORIGINAL OWNER EVEN THOUGH MILEAGE WAS UNDER 100,000 AT TIME OF SERVICE. IF I WAS THE ORIGINAL OWNER, THEN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED UNDER THE 100,000 MILE BUMPER TO BUMPER COVERAGE. I ALSO HAVE A 2010 HYUNDAI ELANTRA THAT RECEIVED SAME SERVICE CAMPAIGN NOTICE FOR RUST PROOFING UNDERBODY AND OIL PAN IS LOOKING ITS LIKE HEADING INTO SAME DIRECTION IN NEED OF REPLACEMENT DUE TO RUST. THIS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING TO THE OIL PAN EVEN AFTER 10 YEARS OF AGE.
WHILE DRIVING, THE AIR CIRCULATION SYSTEM TURNS OFF AUTOMATICALLY EVEN WHEN IT IS TURNED ON AND THEN AFTER A WHILE IT TURNS BACK ON AGAIN ON ITS OWN. AGAIN WHILE DRIVING, WHEN THE AIR CIRCULATION IS TURNED OFF, IT TURNS ON SPORADICALLY AND TURNS BACK OFF AGAIN. SO FAR THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING ONLY FOR A SHORT DURATION BUT THE CONCERN IS THAT IF IT TURNS OFF FOR PROLONGED PERIODS OF TIME DURING WINTER DRIVING OR DURING RAIN THEN THE WINDSHIELD DEFOGGER WILL NOT WORK WHICH WILL END UP BEING A SAFETY HAZARD. NOT SURE IF THIS IS AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM - MAY BE A LOOSE CONTACT IN THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM OR A WIRING ISSUE. NOT CLEAR IF THIS WILL END UP AFFECTING OTHER DEVICES SUCH AS LIGHTS, ETC. LATER. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR THE PAST SEVERAL MONTHS. I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE SECOND HAND IN SUMMER OF 2015.

I HAVE SEEN MANY OTHER COMPLAINTS ONLINE ABOUT THIS. MY STEERING HAS PLAY IN IT, AND MAKES A CLICKING NOISE WHEN SLIGHTLY TURNED. I'M TOLD THERE IS A PLASTIC COG IN THE POWER STEERING UNIT THAT BREAKS. IT DOES THIS ANYTIME THE STEERING WHEEL IS TURNED, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THE VEHICLE IS MOVING. *TR

THE DEALER REPLACED THE STOP LAMP SWITCH. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING THIS CAR...."WHILE DRIVING THE ABOVE CAR AT 50-55 MPH, I SAW CARS SLAMMING ON THEIR BRAKES, I HIT MY BRAKES TO AVOID THE CARS, I HIT A CONSTRUCTION CEMENT WALL AND THEN HIT A CAR IN FRONT OF ME." MAJOR FRONT END DAMAGE, HOOD BUCKLED, BUMPER DETACTCHED, BATTERY EXPLODED WITH IMPACT. THE CAR MAKE WAS UNIDENTIFIABLE DUE TO FRONT END DAMAGE. STEERING WHEEL AIR BAG NOR SIDE BAGS AND CURTAIN DID NOT DEPLOY. CAR WAS WRITTEN AS TOTALLED AS THE ESTIMATED REPAIR BILL AMOUNTED TO OVER $15,000 DAMAGE.

BACK IN 2011, OUR 2009 HYUNDAI ELANTRA AIRBAG LIGHT WOULD STAY ON INTERMITTENTLY WHEN THE PASSENGER SEAT WAS SLID BACK. THE LIGHT WOULD GO OFF WHEN THE SEAT WAS SLID FORWARD. HYUNDAI ISSUED A RECALL IN 2011 ADDING A COVER TO A SENSOR THAT SEEMED TO FIX THE ISSUE. NOW, JULY 2015 AND THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT IS ON AND STAYS ON. IT STARTED AGAIN WHEN I: ENTERED THE VEHICLE, STARTED IT UP, THE AIRBAG LIGHT WENT OFF. I THEN DROPPED TWO RENTAL DVD MOVIE CASES ON THE PASSENGER SEAT CUSHION, THE WEIGHT OF THE TWO MEAGER PLASTIC CASES TRIGGERED THE LIGHT TO COME ON THE INSTANT THE CASES LANDED ON THE CUSHION. IT HAS STAYED ON SINCE.
AFTER HAVING MY POWER STEERING FIXED AT THE LOCAL HYUNDAI DEALERSHIP BECAUSE OF THE RECALL, THE STEERING WHEEL BEGAN TO MAKE A CLICKING SOUND WHEN IT WAS TURNED IN EITHER DIRECTION. WHEN I CALLED HYUNDAI, THE MECHANIC WAS ABLE TO TELL ME EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING AT MY CAR BUT STILL WANTED 110 DOLLARS JUST TO INSPECT IT. INFORMED ME THAT THE ISSUE, WHICH IS THE COUPLING DEVICE, IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY FROM RECALL. MY STEERING WHEEL NEVER MADE THIS SOUND BEFORE THE RECALL AND IF THIS IS SUCH A COMMON PROBLEM THAT HE'S ABLE TO TELL ME WHAT'S WRONG WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING AT THE CAR, WHY IS IT NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY? DEALERSHIP WANTS 400 DOLLARS TO FIX THE COUPLING DEVICE ON TOP OF THE 110 DOLLARS TO INSPECT IT. LOCAL MECHANIX CHARGED ME 15 DOLLARS TO INSPECT IT AND VERIFIED THAT IT IS THE COUPLING DEVICE. INFORMED ME THAT HE FELT IT SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.

AFTER HAVING THE CAR IN THE SHOP, FOR STEARING RECAL, THE CAR STILL WHILE DRIVING THE POWER STEARING GOES OUT.
TOOK CAR IN FOR SAFETY RECALL CAMPAIGN 127 ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING . TOOK OVER 1 MONTH TO GET CAR BACK. THE STEERING FELT LOOSE AND WORSE THAN BEFORE. WENT TO 2 DEALERS BOTH SAID STEERING IS LOOSE BUT SAFE. I DID NOT FEEL SAFE. THE REGIONAL MANAGER AT HYUNDAI SAID THERE IS NOTING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT. UPDATED 10/9/15 *LN AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC STATED THE STEERING WAS SET TO RACE CAR WHEN THE ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING WAS CHANGE DUE TO A RECALL THAT WAS ISSUED. UPDATED 12/28/15.*JB

AIRBAG LIGHT IS CONSTANTLY ON, INDICATING A FAILURE. ON FURTHER DISCOVERY, IT IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THE REFERENCED MODEL FOR THE PASSENGER SEAT OCCUPANT SENSOR TO FAIL. THE CAR DOES NOT RECOGNIZE WHEN A PASSENGER IS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT AND WHEN NOT, CAUSING AN AIRBAG FAULT AND POSSIBLY FAILING TO DEPLOY AIRBAG IN AN ACCIDENT. AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT IS ILLUMINATED IN INSTRUMENT CLUSTER. BROUGHT IT TO THE DEALER FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE AND HAD THEM LOOK INTO IT AT THAT TIME. THEY SAID THE WEIGHT SENSOR IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT IS MALFUNCTIONING. THIS SENSOR TELLS THE AIRBAG SYSTEM IF SOMEONE IS SITTING IN THE FRONT SEAT AND WHETHER IT SHOULD BE ON OR NOT. THE ON/OFF LIGHT BY THE CONTROLS APPEARS TO BE WORKING PROPERLY. MEANING IF SOMEONE IS SITTING IN THE SEAT, THE AIRBAG OFF LIGHT IS NOT ILLUMINATED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE SENSOR IS MEASURING A NEGATIVE 100+KG. THE ONLY WAY TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM IS TO REPLACE THE SENSOR WHICH ENTAILS REPLACING THE SEAT BOTTOM. THEY QUOTED $1500 TO DO THE JOB. THE AIRBAG SYSTEM IS STILL WORKING BUT IT TAKES OVER 100 KG TO TURN ON THE PASSENGER AIRBAG.
THE PASSENGER SEAT WEIGHT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR FAILED AND AS A RESULT THE CAR SHUT DOWN THE AIRBAG SYSTEM. THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT IS ON AND AS SUCH NONE OF THE AIRBAGS WILL FUNCTION. THE DEALER QUOTED ME AT NEARLY $2,000 TO FIX THE PROBLEM, AND MENTIONED REPLACING THE ENTIRE SEAT BOTTOM. REQUIRING A COMPLETE SEAT REPLACEMENT FOR A SIMPLE SENSOR SEEMS LIKE A MAJOR DESIGN FLAW. MEANWHILE, THIS REALLY AFFECTS THE SAFETY OF THE VEHICLE AS THE AIRBAGS ARE NOT FUNCTIONING. *TR

HOWEVER, TWO WEEKS AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED UNDER THE RECALL THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 83,000.

I WAS RETURNING HOME ONE EVENING HOME ABOUT A WEEK AGO, AND I WAS TRYING TO PARKING MY CAR IN PARKING LOT WHEN THE ESC LIGHT APPEARED ON DASH BOARD AND THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED. I COULD NOT PARK THE CAR, SO I PUT IT IN PARK AND PULLED OUT THE CAR MANUAL, AFTER READING IT, I TURNED THE IGNITION OFF AND THEN TURN IT BACK ON. THE ESC LIGHT WENT OUT AND THE STEERING WAS BACK AND I WAS THEN ABLE TO PARK THE CAR. THE NEXT DAY IT HAPPENED TWICE BEFORE I WAS ABLE TO GET ON THE HIGHWAY AND THE ONLY WAY I COULD CORRECT IT EACH TIME WAS TURNING OFF THE IGNITION. AT ONE POINT SOMEONE WAS COMING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE AND I HAD TO TRY AND MOVE OUT OF THE WAY WITH THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED. I WAS SCARED AND PRAYING, THAT I GET HOME SAFELY. I TOOK THE CAR HOME AND HAVEN'T DRIVEN IT SINCE. TOWED CAR TO DEALER AND WAS TOLD IT NEEDED A NEW POWER STEERING COLUMN AND TOTAL COST WITH LABOR AND TAX WAS OVER $3,000.00 AND NOT COVERED IN THE POWER TRAIN WARRANTY. THE CAR IS BARELY USED HOW COULD THAT BE? THEY ARE DEALERS SELLING LEMONS AS NEW CARS. THIS CAR IS JUST OVER 5 YEARS OLD, NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO PAY OUT THAT TYPE OF MONEY TO REPLACE PARTS SO EARLY IN THE LIFE OF THE CAR. I PURCHASED THE CAR IN FEB 2012 AT 34,214 MI AND IN 1 YR TIME, I KEPT BLOWING LIGHTS...HEADLIGHTS, FOG, BRAKE AND TAIL. I PUT A LOT OF MILES ON MY CAR SO BY THE TIME I BECAME ANNOYED BY IT, I JUST MISSED MY WARRANTY SO I LET IT GO. FFWD TO SEPT 2014, I COULDN'T KEEP MY TAIL AND BRAKE LIGHTS FUNCTIONING AT THE SAME TIME. AFTER SEVERAL BULB REPLACEMENTS, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT IT WASN'T THE BULBS THAT KEPT BLOWING, BUT RATHER THE FUSE. AS SOON AS I TURNED THE LIGHTS ON, IT WOULD POP. NOV 2014 AT 118,470 MI, I BROUGHT IT TO A DEALERSHIP TO HAVE THEM RESEARCH...AFTER 3 DAYS IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE WIRES THAT GO AROUND THE LICENSE PLATE FRAME WERE BEING PINCHED BY THE SCREWS CREATING A DIAG SHORT SO IT WAS ADJUSTED AND I MOVED ON. JAN 2015, SAME PROBLEM!! I TOOK IT BACK TO THE SAME DEALERSHIP AND AFTER THEY TORE APART THE CAR AGAIN, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THERE WAS DAMAGED WIRING TO THE R/S PLATE LAMP TO THE EXTENT THAT THEY WERE MELTED TOGETHER AND EVERY TIME THE LIGHTS WERE TURNED ON, IT WOULD SMOKE. THIS IS A SEPARATE ISSUE THAT WAS NOT SEEN IN NOV. IT WAS REPAIRED SO IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN, BUT THAT WAS 3 YEARS OF ELECTRICAL DRAMA THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED. I STILL HAVE ELECTRICAL ISSUES INSIDE THE CAR, BUT AT LEAST MY EXTERIOR LIGHTS WORK. *TR
I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK WHEN MY EPS LIGHT CAME ON AND MY POWER STEERING COMPLETELY WENT OUT. AT A STOP LIGHT I TURNED MY CAR OFF AND TURNED IT BACK ON. THE LIGHT WENT OFF AND THE POWER STEERING WAS RESTORED. A COUPLE OF MINUTES LATER THE LIGHT CAME BACK ON AND THE STEERING AGAIN WENT OUT. I WAS ON A BUSY STREET AND WAS VERY NERVOUS WHEN ATTEMPTING TO TURN. WHEN I MADE IT HOME I LOOKED IN THE OWNER'S MANUAL AND IT STATED IF THE EPS LIGHT CAME ON DURING NORMAL OPERATION TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALER. I DROVE THE CAR TO THE NEAREST HYUNDAI DEALER AND LEFT IT OVERNIGHT. THE NEXT MORNING I WAS INFORMED THAT MY ENTIRE STEERING COLUMN/EPS MOTOR HAD TO BE REPLACED AND THE COST WAS $2,400. MY CAR IS JUST OVER 5 YEARS OLD AND ONLY HAS 49,000 MILES ON IT. TO HAVE TO REPLACE SOMETHING THIS MAJOR, THIS EARLY IN THE LIFE OF THE CAR, WAS A HUGE SHOCK TO ME. WHEN RESEARCHING THE MATTER ONLINE I SAW MULTIPLE EXAMPLES OF THE SAME EXACT THING HAPPENING TO OTHER OWNERS OF THE 2009 HYUNDAI ELANTRA. I ASKED THE DEALER IF THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THIS AND THEY INFORMED ME THERE WAS NOT. THIS IS VERY TROUBLING TO ME AS SOMETHING AS SERIOUS AS LOSING YOUR STEERING UNEXPECTEDLY IS A HUGE SAFETY HAZARD AND NEEDS TO BE REMEDIED. *TR

I WAS DRIVING TO WORK AND THERE HAD BEEN LOOSE GRAVEL ON THE ROAD. TRYING TO KEEP THE CAR STEADY I LOST CONTROL AND AT 50 MPH HIT A TREE HEAD ON. JAWS OF LIFE WERE USED TO REMOVE ME FROM THE VEHICLE. HAD ANYONE BEEN IN THE PASSENGER SEAT THEY WOULD HAVE DIED INSTANTLY. I SUFFERED BROKEN RIBS, FRACTURED VERTEBRAE IN MY BACK, FRACTURED PELVIS, MAJOR CONTUSIONS AND HEMATOMA. WAS OUT OF WORK FOR ALMOST 3 MONTHS AND THEN RETURNED PART TIME FOR MONTHS. BEGAN THE YEAR 2015 FULL TIME WHICH HAS BEEN VERY DIFFICULT. WORE A BACK BRACE AND NOW USE A CANE ALL THE TIME. *TR

IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS, THE EPS LIGHT HAS COME ON MY DASHBOARD 3 TIMES, ACCOMPANIED BY THE POWER STEERING FAILING. THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED, I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSECTION, TURNING LEFT, AND MY POWER STEERING FAILED. THE SECOND TIME I WAS IN MY DRIVEWAY, LUCKILY NOT YET PULLED OUT INTO THE BUSY STREET ON WHICH I LIVE. THE THIRD TIME WAS JUST TODAY ON THE HIGHWAY, AND AS I WAS GOING 65 MPH, THE POWER STEERING FAILED. THE ONLY WAY I'VE FOUND TO "FIX" IT IS TO TURN OFF MY CAR AND START IT AGAIN. HAD I BEEN GOING OVER THE BRIDGE NEAR MY HOUSE WHERE THERE IS NO SHOULDER TO PULL ONTO WHERE I COULD RESTART MY ENGINE, TODAY I WOULD HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO STEER AROUND THE CURVES OF THE HIGHWAY. THIS IS NOT JUST A MINOR PROBLEM. THIS IS A SAFETY LIABILITY ON THE PART OF THE MANUFACTURER AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. I HAVE READ ABOUT MANY OTHER PEOPLE WITH THE SAME CAR HAVING THIS ISSUE AND HYUNDAI DOING NOTHING ABOUT IT. SO FAR, ONLY A HANDFUL OF 2015 SONATAS HAVE BEEN RECALLED FOR THE EXACT SAME ISSUE, BUT NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE ABOUT THE ELANTRAS. I HAVE CONTACTED HYUNDAI REGARDING THIS, AND THEY SAY THAT MY VIN IS NOT PART OF A RECALL, EVEN THOUGH IT CLEARLY HAS THE SAME PROBLEM AS THE RECALLED SONATAS OCCURRING REPEATEDLY, AND THEREFORE I MUST ABSORB THE COST OF WHATEVER IT WILL TAKE TO REMEDY THIS PROBLEM. THE STOP LIGHT I DID GET A LETTER ABOUT, HOWEVER THE AIRBAG LIGHT HAS BEEN ON FOR MONTHS AND I SEE BY READING THESE OTHER COMPLAINTS THAT THERE SHULD BE A RECALL ABOUT THAT. DEALERSHIP TELLS ME THE WHOLE STERRING MECHANISM IS BAD AND ARE REPLACING THIS WEEK. THE HIGH PROFILE TIRES HAVE BEEN A NIGHTMARE SINCE I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE, EXPENSIVE FOR THAT SIZED CAR AND DON'T LAST MORE THAN 30K MILES. I DON'T THINK THE TIRE ISSUE HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE BRANDING. AFTER READING ALL THESE COMPLANTS, I MOST LIKELY WILL NOT BUY FROM HYUNDAI AGAIN. THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO TO FIX IT. SOMETHING ABOUT AN ANTI THEFT FEATURE AND THAT I HAD TO LEAVE THE STEERING WHEEL AT 11:00 O'CLOCK POSITION. THE CAR NOW HAS ONLY 23,232 MILES ON IT AND I WAS STRANDED AGAIN IN THE GROCERY STORE PARKING LOT. THIS HAS NOW HAPPENED TO ME 5 TIMES, IN FLAT PARKING LOTS, IN THE HOT SUN IN FLORIDA. I HAD TO CALL AAA, TWICE, AS I WAS NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO MOVE THE WHEEL. WHAT GOOD IS A 100,000 MILE WARRANTY, IF THEY CAN'T OR WON'T FIX THE CAR?
